Mental Information
Personality: On the surface, Yahto appears to be a typical student entering his junior year of high school. Easy going, a little sarcastic and lazy, while at the same time being a shameless flirt around pretty girls. But despite what most people think of him, there is a lot more to him than most people don't see at first. Though he doesn't choose to show it often, Yahto is a profoundy spiritual and dedicated individual to his martial art, but especially to his view of the world He is very loyal and actually very honorable despite the way he acts around women. It may take a while for him to accept a person into his little circle of friends, but once they do they're in it for life.
Mentality: Yahto was never known for being headstrong, but ever since he began developing his Wolf Style animal art, he's really taken the addage "Know thy enemy" to heart. He prefers to act only when he has all the facts he needs. In a nutshell, he's the type of guy who believes in planning ahead and assessing the situation before rushing in. He also uses this for fashioning elaborate pranks against those who hurt him and his friends.
Ideal: Family, Honor, and Justice are the most important fundamentals in this world. In that order.
Belief: Neo Paganism - After Yahto's return from his grandfather's cabin in Colorado, Yahto decided to follow a philosophy that incorporates elements of his father's belief in Buddhism and his mother's belief in Nature. In short, Yahto believes that the key to enlightenment lies with being in balance with yourself, Nature, and the world around you. Respect the Earth, Respect Each Other, and Respect Yourself. Yahto practices this belief by regularly communing with his Spirit Guide to seek wisdom and advice without relying completely upon it. After all, sometimes a cigar is just a cigar.
Physical Information
Build: Yahto is fairly tall and thin, though he's hardly skin and bones. He sports a very solid and toned physique that emphasizes speed and flexibility over power. Also, he has a lightly tanned complexion because of his mixed heritage.
Head: It is easy tell that Yahto has a mixed heritage just by looking at his face. He has a fairly angular face with defined cheekbones from his father's Chinese side of the family, while his eyes and dark skin come from his mother's Cheyenne side of the family. His slighty wavy hair is also jet black and falls just short of his shoulders while his eyes are also very blue, almost like sapphires.
Torso: While Yahto is physically well-developed, his body is meant for speed and agility rather than physical strength. As such, he is a bit on the skinny side. However, his training with Wolf Style Kung Fu has helped him develop his physical strength as well as his speed.
Arms: Long, lean, and very toned. Built more for speed but without giving up a lot of power.
Legs: Long, lean, and very toned. Built more for speed but without giving up a lot of power.

Fighting Information
Shou' Shu':
The art of Shou' Shu' is a combined animal art. There are actually seven arts that make up this whole. Each of these arts is based upon the fighting motions of an animal. When these seven animal arts are combined, it is called Shou' Shu'. Shou' Shu', meaning "beast knowledge," is the ability to combine all seven arts to hide their individual weaknesses.
However, learning this complete system is all but impossible without first knowing which of the animal arts best suits you as an individual, based on your body type, personality, temperament, and intelligence. For instance, if the individual is strong, large, and straight forward, then they're best style would likely be Bear or Tiger Kung Fu. Individuals who are quick and fight with cunning rather than strength are likely best suited for Mongoose or White Crane Kung Fu. This all-important first art is used a foundation to build up the individual's Qi and overall skill before even beginning to learn the other six arts. Dragon Kung Fu is the combined form of all six other arts.
Wolf Kung Fu:
This is the Animal Art that Yahto is developing on his own in order to create that all-important foundation art. Inspired by the stealth and cunning of the wolf, Wolf Style is a martial art form that focuses on skill and speed. As such, it is a defense-oriented form even when used offensively. A master of Wolf Style will enter combat aggressively, preferably after having observed his opponent from afar. Once actually in combat, the Wolf master will be more circumspect, using offensive and defensive moves equally and leaping in and out of combat range to throw his enemy's timing off. The style focuses on keeping the body very to low to the ground with three-pointed stances, mainly to mimic the wolf's movements and relatively small size to add defense. Yahto has also developed this stance to increase the overall flow of Qi throughout his body, and is able to move much faster in this "seemingly awkward" stance than one would expect.
If his oppnent attacks too defensively, Yahto will take his time to search for openings in the opponent's defenses, usually be using precision upward elbow strikes to pressure points. Leg sweeps and other tripping manuevers are also utilized heavily.
If his opponent attacks too aggressively, Yahto will try to stay out of combat range, using his kicks to keep his opponent at a distance, using hand attacks, elbow strikes, snap kicks, and Body Flip/Throws when he gets too close. This is done to let the overly aggressive opponent tire himself, after which the Wolf master can finish him off.
Key Techniques:
-Wolf's Bite: This is a modified version of Fong Ngan's One-Hand Choke which can be used on any part of the body to immobalize and crush joints or other weak parts of the body. People who have had the technique performed on them often tell of feeling a sensation like actual canine teeth digging into their skin where the user's hand is gripping them.
-Twisted Beast Claw: The user has learned to use their fist as a weapon as deadly as a blade. The user strikes at some point in the midsection of the target with full speed and strength. Then, once the strike has landed and the user’s fist has begun to back away from the flesh of the target, the user will use incredible body strength to lunge forward again from a stand still with two extended knuckles. After the knuckles hit and just as the rest of the fist hits, the user gives a violent twist of the hand. This causes a massive internal injury, twisting the target’s insides with the fist, if done right the effect is seeable by a bulge on the other side of the target’s body when the twist is implemented. This can also break and displace bones.
-Body Flicker: By focusing Qi into his legs, Yahto can appear and disappear in an instant by moving at tremendous speeds, allowing him to retreat or attack suddenly from unexpected angles.
-Wolf Cyclone: This is the pinnacle of Yahto's Wolf Style Kung Fu and is meant to emulate the experience of being attacked by an entire pack of wolves at once. The attacks starts off with Yahto encircling the opponent with high powered bursts of Body Flicker to dash at tremendous speeds faster than the eye can follow. This incredibly fast movement often results in "after images" of Yahto appearing and disappearing in multiple locations simultaneously, which further confuses the opponent about where Yahto actually is at any given time. While this happens, Yahto will then utilize the distraction of the after images to quickly take apart the enemy with high-powered hand and leg attacks. Opponents who have had the technique performed on them speak of being struck in roughly a dozen places at once over and over again, while still others tell the tale of being surrounded by wolves instead of humans while being attacked. While a powerful technique, it is very draining on Yahto's Qi and stamina.
History Information
Born of the odd marriage of a Chinese Master of Shou'Shu' and a Cheyenne Medicine Woman, Yahto Fang never had what could be called a normal childhood. He was born in Beijing, China where the first fifteen years of his life were spent before moving back to the States so his family could open up a new martial arts school in New York. He grew up in a very loving and understanding family, although growing up was sometimes hard due to having to learn just about all there is to know about both sides of his family so he could "honor" them properly. In a nutshell, it often left him very confused on how he should refer to his ethnicity.
For as long as he could remember, it was always his dream to eventually surpass his father in martial arts and attain the title of Dragon, just as his father had done before him. He trained hard for years, yet it always seemed that none of the Animal Arts ever seemed to fit him. He wasn't particularly strong for the Bear Style, nor fierce enough for the Tiger Style, or even very cunning or quick for the Mongoose, White Crane, and Cobra styles. In short, he appeared to fit for all six of the animal arts, yet not enough enough for just one. This made Yahto's dream seem all but impossible for him and Yahto eventually began to grow more and more depressed as time went on.
Eventually, his mother and father began to suspect that it was Yahto's confusion regarding his identity that was the source of his trouble in the Animal Arts. Without a clear understanding of who you are as a person, than it was virtually impossible to even begin to learn the basics of them. It was then that they decided it was time for their son to gain another sort of guidance, hopefully one that would help him along his path. After talking it over with each other and Yahto, they sent him to live for a year in Colorado with his grandfather, who was a very reknowned Cheyenne Medicine Man named Black Cloud. There, Yahto lived and worked at his grandfather's cabin in the rugged pine forests near the Rocky Mountains for one year, learning the spiritual side of Cheyenne lore first hand through ritualistic meditation. Yahto had some success with that, though it wasn't much to begin with.
It wasn't until Yahto happened to witness a spectacular event one day while gathering firewood. He happened to witness a pair of wolves fending off a mighty grizzly bear that was trying to attack them and their pups. The way they were able to attack with such speed, precision, and power was unlike anything that Yahto had ever seen before and it dazzled him in ways that watching the other Animal Arts never could. Yahto was totally convinced that the wolves were doomed to failure and that one swipe of the bear's claws was more than enough to end their lives, yet the wolves struggled on heedless of the danger before them. They outmanuevered the bear's attacks, struck with blinding speed and ferocity as powerful as any tigers, and eventually succeeded in driving their enemy away and saving their young. Needless to say, it was the coolest thing Yahto had ever seen.
After being told of this by Yahto, his grandfather became convinced that the fight between the two wolves and the bear was actually a vision that Yahto had been granted and that it was a sign of great things to come. He instructed his grandson to go on a Vision Quest and to not return until he recieved some kind of confirmation from the spirits around him. So with that, Yahto packed up the bare essentials and headed out into the unforgiving wilderness bordering the Rocky Mountains.
On the third night, Yahto recieved his vision and saw his Spirit Guide for the first time in his life, a huge grey wolf with eyes as blue as Yahto's. This was the moment where Yahto's journey of self-discovery came to an end and the moment where his training began. With that, he returned home to New York and immediately began developing his own unique style of Kung Fu at his father's martial arts school. The style quickly became as familiar to Yahto as his own body and he soon began defeating his father's strongest students with it at a dazzling rate of speed. Although, he yet to fully master the style of Wolf Kung Fu, Yahto and his family believe that he is quickly becoming on his way to pioneering a brand new Animal Art style of Shou'Shu' and that one day he will indeed surpass his father and earn the title of Dragon.
This year marks Yahto's arrival at Public High School #259. Part of the reason why Yahto chose to come here is because he heard of all the strong opponents that come to school here. What better place to finish developing his Animal Art and flirt with girls at the same time. The other reason he chose to come here is because he's far enough away from home to warrant living in his own apartment. After all, one can take doing so many "Horse Stance" drills before getting sick of it.
Equipment:
Wolf's Tooth Necklace: This is item actually holds more sentimental value to Yahto than anything else. His necklace is exactly that, a polished wolf's tooth attached to a thin silver chain. It was a gift given to him from Yahto's grandfather Black Cloud after he had completed his Vision Quest and met with his Spirit Guide, a large timberwolf he calls Slater.
Shaman's Gloves [+10 STR and +5 DEX]: These sturdy black gloves were given to Yahto by a mysterious benefactor. Each glove has a row of steel studs over each knuckle to increase the user's striking power and defense. In addition, a polished steel plate has been attached to the back of each glove, mainly to add even more protection to the user's hands. The plates have been etched with an image of a Hexagram, a Pagan symbol representing the unity of all four Elements. The gloves seem to be charged with an unusual kind of Qi that makes it easier for Yahto to draw on the power of his Spirit Guide, thus making him a bit faster and a lot more stronger when wearing them.
"Snakeskin" Jacket [+10 CON, 50% Fire/Heat Resistance]: Yahto recieved this item from Mr. Malice in preparation for the assault and rescue mission at Sean Barker's Correctional Facility. This seemingly plain black felt vest is actually reinforced with pieces of kevlar surrounding the torso. While not exactly bullet-proof, it does provide Yahto with additional protection while still remaining quite light. The fabric has also been treated to resist fire and heat, thus also providing some additional elemental protection.
"Venom" Headband [+10 INT, +5 CHA]: Yahto recieved this item from Mr. Malice in preparation for the assault and rescue mission at Sean Barker's Correctional Facility. This otherwise plain bandana has been dyed in Dark Hunter's Green and features a design of writhing snakes along the edges. For some reason, whenever Yahto wears this item he occassionally feels a sort of empowerment that is different yet similar to whenever Slater is near or whenever he wears his Wolf's Tooth necklace. At the moment, he isn't sure of where this power is coming from. At least, not yet.
