Rofl- that's funny shit there man. "Cut the legs off at the shins." <- Classic! ...but seriously. Was that a real tutorial or was it like...just a parody? *is lost* Was funny though. Had me laughing.

It's obviously just a parody. You notice how the guy tells you to redraw the whole thing over and over? And the fact that they spent 80-something hours in that piece of crap... And my favourite... the final job ending like a piece of shit, but the artist comes up qith 1000 excuses, to make it as less lame as possible. The most oftenly used ones are "It's my style", "I was tired", "Wasn't inspired"... While real artists just suck it up, and try to improve.
Also... those "ball-joint" crap, and eye-line guiding bullshit... I've never used that crap in my entire life!!! Seriously, that's nothing more than a waste of time! I draw guide lines every once in a while, but it's rare, and it's never that ball-joint crap. Seriously, guys, you're artists, can't you just IMAGINE those joints, instead of marking the paper with them?! -_-

My art is lame. End of story. =D I do that "ball joint crap" you speak of. I'm admittedly not as talented as you. I do what i can to improve. It'll take a bit, due to real life constraints and my intended profession as nothing to do with drawing and/or artwork. ... does that count as an excuse? o__o

Actually... sorry, but yes. ^^;
Believe me when I say that the ball-joint is a waste of time. All it takes is practice, to memorize body proportion. Plus... aren't you studying medicine? You're supposed to know more about anatomy than me, then! XD

I haven't done ball joints as much since I entered 2nd year, so I guess that's improvement.
Next on the list is being able to do perspective a lot better.
>_>;
But seriously Fontes, doing Artwork is the LEAST of my priorities. I don't study medicine to draw. :/
