"Alrighty then, let's see, where did I put my map?"
Digging into the pocket of his black leather jacket looking for the map of the school, it was another day for Ghiste to be goin' to classes, and it took him ages to find each one because the school was huge! He was standing out by the fountain of the court yard, until he pulled up a folded piece of paper then began to unfold it to look at the color coded map which he made for himself! Yes, he was going to hunt down the right color for the first period class, and BAM! He found it, what do you know! Still, class had about twenty minutes before it would start, so Ghiste had the whole time to just admire the school and the beauty of things! Ghiste usually hung out in places where fights were more of at a minimum, it wouldn't be good if Ghiste got his face uglified over such a petty argument anyways.
Boy did he hate corporal punishment.
Anyways, he slipped his map back into his pocket, and slipped both hands into them as well looking around. He then took a seat at the bench near the fountain, and just began to look up at the sky for awhile. That was when he saw a student walking about, and Ghiste decided it would be best to say some good words of loveliness, and the such.
"Heeeeeeeey, any chance you know which building is building A? I can't figure this place out!"
Actually, Ghiste already knew what building A was, but he wanted to do something to start a conversation with somebody, and the student was just walking right in front of him, why not ask!?

In the courtyard under the tree, a young girl named Mitsuki leaned her back against the tall Oak, her eyes closed, something in her ear as a melody soothed into her ear. Listening to music underneath the shady tree, the red haired girl already had her classes memorized - it was mandatory because her brother said to learn it so she wouldn't get lost in the school. On the ground next to her was her black and gray backpack, filled with a couple of college ruled notebooks and folders, along with a couple of utensils for class, such as lead pencils and ball-point pens. A light breeze stirred up in the area she was in, causing her red hair to brush lightly to the side. Her yellow eyes scanned the area, noticing a couple of students here and there, and she picked her backpack up, slinging it over her left shoulder, ready to head back on inside.
Today she was in her..."usual" attire. A black and crimson red coughing mask covered the bottom half of her face, her red hair let down, falling passed her shoulders. Black and white arm warmers covered her wrist and just a little above the middle of her arms, wearing a sleeveless lacey deep green shirt, along with army colored loose cargo pants that hugged her waist perfectly, her shirt matching her curves on her body.
"Heeeeeeeey, any chance you know which building is building A? I can't figure this place out!"
Mitsuki stopped walking and slightly turned her body, seeing a boy around her age, asking her a question. The music still played in her ear, and she pulled out the headphones as it hung loosely around her neck. She heard him and thought for a moment - building A? She was positive that the buildings were numbers, and that the floors were letters. Her yellow eyes looked over him, at each building, and as she thought, the buildings were numbers.
"Buildings are by numbers."
Her tone was somewhat dull, but her appearence made up for that. She waited patiently for what the boy was going to do next, since her answer was kind of blunt and straight to the point. Everyone was new here, so it didn't matter, but it seemed that Mitsuki was already used to the place. The young thirteen year old Freshman had a feeling that this would be one of the longest years. Her eyes directed back to the boy in front of her, remaining calm and patient - sure, many girls might've thought this guy was cute, but Mitsuki wasn't the type to go after guys with the looks. Actually, she wasn't the type to go after guys, period.

"My apologies, uhh... mind sharing your name?"
Now, Ghiste could try to say something flattering, but just by hearing this girls tone, that really wouldn't turn out too well. Standing up, he took a few steps toward the girl, he kept his hands in the pockets of his black leather jacket, and walked slowly to where if she stepped back, he would stop moving to let her have her space. Ghiste knew how to communicate pretty well, he wasn't going to intrude on this girl's personal space if she had a big one. Ghiste noticed he got the floors and buildings confused, but that happened every once and awhile. Not everyone gets lucky, y'know? Anyways, Ghiste knew he sort of just asked for her name when he was a complete stranger, so it would only be fair if he introduced himself.
Stopping, and slipping his right hand out of his pocket, Ghiste extended it for a hand shake, rather she took it or not was her problem. He was just trying to show that he was as friendly as possible, and that he could be trusted. This was the way to communicate, this was genius! Sure, she might find him to be a complete weirdo, but what is weird about being friendly toward someone who you would like to call a friend one day? The girl's eyes... they sort of were creepy, but... Ghiste could live with them as well! Letting his pale hand stay out there in the open he would begin to speak, having a friendly smile on his face letting his white teeth sparkle as he said what he said.
"I guess I should introduce myself first, I am Roy Jacobs, but the people around here call me Ghiste."

"My apologies, uhh... mind sharing your name?"
Hesitation. Mitsuki's first thought is if she should even tell him her name - why? Well, first things first, she didn't even know the guy, so why should she tell him who she was? Her nose and mouth were hidden behind a coughing mask, keeping him from noticing how she completely looked, but seeing that Mitsuki never takes off her mask in public in the first place, it seemed like he'd be able to tell who she is in the mass of people that attends Public High School #259. Besides her brother, how many people wear a colored mask everyday to school and in public? Not many, from what she knew, and her thoughts were soon cut off by the boys voice once again.
"I guess I should introduce myself first, I am Roy Jacobs, but the people around here call me Ghiste."
One thing she noticed is that his hand was stretched out. What, did he want something--.. Oh. Extending her own arm, outstretching her right hand to shake his hand, her smooth, silk like hands gripping lightly against his, then she would pull her hand back to her side, where it would just limp loose against her. She thought for a moment - now was probably the best time to tell him her name, since she knew his name now - Roy Jacobs, or what people call him, Ghiste. Original? Yes, as far as Mitsuki was concerned, Ghiste was something she heard of for the first time today. Opening her mouth, even though he couldn't see behind the mask, she spoke.
"Mitsuki Park."
Her tone of voice was quiet, calm, and had a tint of friendliness to it. She wasn't what you would call a social being, since she never approached people, so to be truthful, this would be her first conversation outside the family.

"She sure is strange, but it is nice to know some of the less... 'social' people. After all, these are the non shallow type, they could be quite helpful to have as a friend in the future."
A friendly smile widened on Ghiste's lips as he withdrew his hand after she shook it and took it back, and then Ghiste put them both into his black leather jacket. She didn't have a name very commonly seen around the school either, and it was her real name! Ghiste just liked being called by this name because he didn't like the name Roy at all, and he wanted something that people could remember with a bang! It was much better than being a name which was commonly seen at some random place in the U.S. after all!
"So... how long have you been attending this school?"
This was just a simple question Ghiste was going to ask, so that way he could get to know her a little bit better. Plus, if she has been attending here a bit longer than Ghiste, then he could easily extract some information about the school out of her, right!? We aren't stating he was planning on using her, but it never hurt to have some information about somewhere you will be attending for what is planned to be the next four years!

"So... how long have you been attending this school?"
She pondered about his question for a moment. How long has she been attending this school, anyway? Only since the first day it opened, duh. But what about a creative way of answering? That was what Mitsuki liked to do to confuse others and such if they began something like a childish "dissing" contest, or whatever they're called now-a-days. Name calling, bad mouthing, etc., etc. Most of what she learned is from her brother, who "bad mouths" her all the time, only in his own, non-funny, serious-like way. Thinking for a moment, she decided to answer his question, with a question of her own. Now isn't that original? Answering a question, with a question.
"How long has the school opened to the public?"
She began to wonder - what time was it? Her brother wouldn't like it if she ditched class. His wise words told her that only smart people can ditch class, and according to her brother, she wasn't smart. Of course, that's his problem for thinking that way in the first place. He always thought she was never good enough, only because she was a flippin' girl. She always remembered him saying why he couldn't have a guy as a twin, and she retorted back saying if he wanted her to gender change somehow, and he immediately changed his mind. Heh, her brother never always got his way, although his training sessions were hell, which she had one at two later this afternoon today. If she was late...well... Let's just say the consequences aren't very pretty.

"Dumb ass, use your head!"
Giving a bit of a chuckle Ghiste gave a nod keeping that confident smile as if he didn't really care much what she really said.
"You caught me!"
It was a friendly tone of course, though it was a bit embarrassing that he was doing horrible in this conversation. Maybe it was just an off day, he really didn't pay attention to much which was going on far around him, just the close distance stuff like this conversation! Well, it would probably be best if Ghiste went for a bit more settle approach then.
"Sorry, first time in a school like this, I more of meant to ask the question like... what year are you in, y'know?"
Yes! Perfect cover up, she didn't know what the hell he was thinking, she couldn't deny that!
"And of course, to be fair, I'm a freshman."
This sure was a hard conversation, Ghiste was just all over the place with what he said, but he still tried to keep everything to a friendly manner. It wouldn't help him if he just lost his cool, sure he might be blowing it, but he just wanted to keep everything going well...
"Let's hope I didn't fuck up on anything I said this time..."

"You caught me!"
...What? She was now confused. What in the bloody hell was he talking about? She caught him? Caught him in what? Ag, this guy was confusing, yes, but if her brother was here and he acted like this, he'd just walk away pulling Mitsuki with him, muttering a few things about not to hang out with stupid people, because then the "stupid-ness" - that's what he calls it - will rub off on her, and he claims that she's stupid enough. Well, she knows her brother well now, and an insult from him usually means a comment from the heart. A comment from him is usually an insult made to make her feel bad because she knows he's thinking of the exact opposite. Confusing, yeah, sure. But face it. It's her twin! She basically knows everything about him.
"Sorry, first time in a school like this, I more of meant to ask the question like... what year are you in, y'know? And of course, to be fair, I'm a freshman."
Eh? Now more confused then ever, she just blinked. Why would he say she 'caught' him in the first place if all he meant was what grade she was in? Whatever, she didn't really care, nor did she feel like wanting to know. Her dispassionate yellow eyes looked over at Ro- Ghiste, and just shrugged, feeling a pair of eyes on her as she looked around, noticing a girl around her age...glaring at her. Okay, what the fuck? She didn't even know her and there she was, giving Mitsuki a look as if she wanted to pry her eyes out of her sockets with a rusty fork. Ah, did she like Ghiste? Nodding her head, she turned back to Ghiste and replied.
"Freshman."
Although the stare from the girl was displeasing, she could always beat her up when she loses her patience. Hopefully, it was soon, since Mitsuki's patience was not easily lost. Always usually keeping her cool, something really bad would have to happen for her to get pissed off.

OOC: What can I say? I can't role play too swell anymore... I just... lost it.
In reality, Ghiste didn't even see the girl looking at Mitsuki, you see, he sort of had his focus all on the girl. Not due to physical attractions, after all, masks weren't really something he enjoyed to look at, but just because it was a respectful thing to do. It wouldn't be right if he kept losing his attention, and that would get him no where when it came to his 'ultimate goal'...
But let's not go there!
"Uhh... is... something bugging you?" (Maybe I shouldn't of asked that... what if it's me!?)
It was just a question that spat out of his mouth due to her looking around as if she didn't have any interest with Ghiste. Of course, if she didn't, he would just leave respectfully, no point in messing with girls when they flat out tell you to stop, plenty of other people out there to befriend. Still, there was always the bright side of her not being bugged by Ghiste. Then he could help her with her problem, and then he would be like... her hero or something! Ghiste... the hero! Talk about a good publicity stunt for future occurrences, hell, the more popular he got the better!

Was something bothering her? No, not really. Breaking eye contact off of the girl, she turned towards Ghiste and gave a vertical nod. Everything was fine, but it might not be so "fine" if that girl went wild and tried to kick Mitsuki in the face. Why? Her brother would find out that Mitsuki got into a "little" fight, and he'd scold her for two weeks, which would get Mitsuki to lose her patience and lock herself in her room until her brothers done with his long, boring, dull, sarcastic speech. That, and the fact that if Mitsuki beats her up, she's in deep s---. Not only from the faculty of PHS #259, but from her brother. Ack, if she thought the speech was bad... You should see what he'll make her do physically. Excersise non-stop. Ew.
"I don't think anything is bothering me."
Something wasn't bothering her, but someone would soon get on her nerves if that girl kept giving her "the look", whatever the heck that was. Anyway, checking her wrist watch on her left hand, she noticed it was nearly time for class to start. She had to get on Building One, Floor C, Room 310. Sighing mentally, she noticed that the system they had at this school was somewhat confusing, but it didn't really matter anymore, did it? She attended the school now, and it's not like the staff would listen to her to change them anyway - from what she learned from the first day assembly, she should stay as far away from the teachers as possible. Why? Well, the fact that most of them like to be "rough", and used actions more then words. Eh.
She probably had to start making her way to class soon, since her twin brother would go crazy on her butt if she didn't. Ack, crazy brothers these days, neh?
Class...should be interesting today...

OOC: Sorry, I can't think of a ten paragraph reply toward Ghiste saying one word...
"Alright..."
Awkward... talking to her was just... awkward. The word was just spat out, nothing more he could do about it. He didn't really change position in his body when he said it, he was standing the exact same way, what hell do you expect? He didn't think anything except that talking to her was awkward, he didn't really believed her, and he had ran out of things to talk about rather quickly... Well, sort of, he could go off complimenting something random about her, or ask more personal questions, but... She didn't look like the girl that would want that...
So... just awkward feelings, what more do you expect?

"I have to get to class."
Well, the conversation was about to end, and she halfway turned her body in the direction her next class was, in Building One, like stated before. She still had a couple of minutes, and she was partially sure that the teachers wouldn't mind her, or Ghiste, being late to whichever class, seeing this is the first week and all, unless she had those teachers who were super strict and liked to kick other students just for the heck of it, then she might have a small problem. But hopefully - hopefully - her teachers weren't like that. Although, she highly doubted that. If the teachers on the podium were her teachers for class, then she had a feeling she might be breaking a bone sooner a later, and it wouldn't be an accident either.
Heh... Better get going then...
"Which class do you have next..."
Well she had to say something. She wasn't much of a conversationalist, to tell the truth, and ironically, she had a feeling he was feeling awkward about this conversation with her, because conversations with the red haired girl are always awkward. Why? Well, because she sucks at talking. A bit obvious, no? Who know someone could be so bad at...talking...?

"Right... good job Roy, you big fuck up! Oh well... I'll just have to think of some other way to get friends..."
Alright, that was the thought he got when he heard Mitsuki say she had to go to class. It wasn't really processed into Ghiste's mind that she would ask pretty soon after what class he had. Of course, maybe it didn't mean too much, but it at least showed she was at least willing to talk to him, right? Yeah, so that was a plus, anyways, Ghiste pulled out his schedule from his right pocket in his black leather jacket then looked it over for a few seconds.
"I got English K, building A 1, you?"
Good thing for handy dandy schedules, they were so helpful, and so were maps! Still, Ghiste couldn't just let this girl know he had a map, and the whole purpose of him starting this conversation was just to get to know her based off a weak lie rather than it being a random encounter due to fate! Staring at the green paper looking over his classes while he waited her response, he just analyzed it... That's just about it... Waiting for Mitsuki to talk... if she will... or she could stay silent... Her choice really... But it is up to her to make it!
