It was getting late out, the last bit of summer warmth still lingering on the approaching evening air. The smell of the beach was still the same though those that had normally plagued the beach with summer parties had long since departed. The beach now belonged to the residence who inhabited the shore line of south beach and that was just the way jo liked it. He was still not fond of people, he was still growing slowly in that area but he was defiantly a changed man.
He now worked with Sage who was out in a mechanics garage, seemed the pair had a knack for the work. He had long ago given up his job as a hired killer though that still did not stop his training regiment, infact it had seemed to increase slightly due to him beginning his martial arts studies once more. It was something she had begun to join him in, nothing to complicated but she was picking up quickly and had even thrown him down a few time during some light sparing, she’d get to the point one day where he was going to have to stop holding back very soon.
He had sent her out for a while, tonight he wanted to be special, just the two of them on their deserted beach, he was even wearing some of the clothes she had made him get, while his sense of fashion had not improved when they went out on dates or for day outing he tried to dress to please her now. He was her boyfriend and there was no need for anyone to think other wise . A tight fitting tee shirt and the all to tight jeans she liked to see him in.
He was on the beach, the twilight hour was upon him as the sun began is final decent in to the ocean. He looked out to the water smiling gently. There was a large blanket layed out a bucket of ice with a bottle of wine chilling in it, their dinner which he had already prepared was staying warm in a hot bag which sat on the blanket along with his violin. Close to them were logs a pile of them already have been set up for a small fire. It was getting close to the point where it would be to cold for such a special night an he did not want to let this one slip by them.
Everything was outside that they would need tonight even a small radio/cd player for music. On the front door of the house there was a note left for Siege reading
'I am outside waiting for you on the beach, come out after you get comfortable.
~~Love Josiah.'
It was so simple but that’s all it needed to be, tonight was her night and he was sure it was going to be something spectacular for them both. When she got to him she would see him standing on the beach his figure outlined by the setting orange of the sun standing their waiting for her with a gentle smile on his lips and the glimmer of love that always seemed to be in his eyes these days when it came to her

Siege had gone shopping. He had told her to do so that she had been working hard and that she deserved to spoil herself a little. She had smiled and given him a long kiss because inside the garage was her small car. It was perfect. Nothing too sporty or anything that would grab a lot of attention. In fact it was probably one of the safest cars out there. It was a BMW SUV, and she loved it. A sleak lime green color but soft, more of a cactus color than a bright lime color. She loved it immediatly. The interior was tan leather and it had an awesome system as well as a sun roof. She adored her car, and had already made it hers with a bazillion CDs, and her Ipod hooked up into it. She was cruising down the road heading home with a smile on her face her new keys jingling slightly as she turned.
Her license had been one of the more liberating things about her life. And she had been spending a lot of time at the library and on the internet researching. Jo didn't know, but she was trying to hunt down the fuckers that had given her over to the orphanage. She wanted to go there, and tell them, show them what they had done to the daughter and the fate they had left her to. She had a few leads that she was working on but she was taking her time there was no reason to rush things like this.
As Siege pulled into the garage next to his car. Turning it off she got out and grabbed her bags from the back seat before she headed upstairs to the front door only to see a note on it from her boyfriend. With a smile she opened the door and dropped her bags in the living room before closing it and heading down. She kicked off her flipflops and headed out to the beach letting the sand grind between her toes. She was wearing a small summer dress. It was green, and had silver trim. The breeze blew and played with it, Siege was growing out her hair a little bit and had gotten the tattoo on her face removed last week with a great deal of money and had it retattooed onto the back of her right shoulder. So her face was clean now. It still seemed odd to look in the mirror.
"Hey good lookin'"
Siege chuckled as she s tepped up beside him. He looked amazing in the jeans and tshirt, he knew that she loved that on him, it was very attractive and she wanted to see him in it more but she understood it wasn't easy.
"It's beautiful out here." she said leaning against him. "It looks like we're having dinner out here? So romantic." she smiled up at him with her bright vibrant grey eyes.

She soon stepped out and he grinned lightly, his style had not been the only one slowly changing, she was becoming more of a woman day by day something he had noticed. She wore dressed around him a lot and seemed to care about her appeance a lot more then she had when their paths had first crossed. As long as she was happy though that was all that had mattered to him. They still slept together every night happily in the same bed, always seemed to find a way to press up against each other and find some way to caress the other.
She came beside him he could see her eyes looking him over which made him smile, she was not shy about looking at what was hers. The again his red orbs were no better as they looked her up and down as she leaned against him. Her grey eyes looking up to him almost shimmering. He leaned down and captured her lips as his arms came around her without notice softly kissing her their lips dancing together for a long almost eternal feeling kiss, t always seemed to feel that way when ever he saw her after they had parted, and he loved it each and every time.
It softly broke and he smiled looking down to her. He took one of her hands in his own and began to lead her down to the blanket he had set up, he sat down and pulled her into his lap both of them facing the ocean to watch what he felt would be their last sunset like this. “Its more then dinner” He said to her softly “Tonight seemed like that perfect night to spend out here now that the beach is all ours…its just you and me and this beach tonight” he said in a soft whisper to her before kissing her neck

He kissed her, pulling her closely into his arms. It seemed that every time he held her, every time that he proved his love to her in a physical kiss she fell in love with him all over again. Her lips and his tangled and danced softly because of the magic that they had found with one another. She sighed as she leaned against him, letting his arms come around her, his one hand on her cheek her eye lids fluttering in the kiss as they enjoyed the lips of one another. When it broke she smiled up at him as he smiled down at her. Everything was perfect, twilight was a beautiful time of the day, it wasnt dark and it wasn't light it was just perfect. He took her hand and led her from the sand and onto the blanket. Together they sat down, she sitting beside him thinking that they would be eating. Afterall there was a cooler, and she assumed it had food in it, and it was unlike Josiah to do something like this without a set purpose. He was just that way. But as she made to sit down his arms came around her small waist and pulled her into his lap where she settled happily leaning against him. Her eyes slid closed as she enjoyed the breeze, the scent of the ocean, as well as the arms of the man she loved around her. “Its more then dinner” “Tonight seemed like that perfect night to spend out here now that the beach is all ours…its just you and me and this beach tonight” The kiss on her neck made the young woman smile. Ever since he had rescued her from the orphanage they had been so close. Inseperable Kathryn said, for Siege was growing to know her 'mother' as much as she could while resenting her and her help like any teenager did. But Josiah was the reason she was here and not there and she would never forget what he had done for her. But she had been unable to make love because every time that they got too close, she would cry. She never meant to, but it was hard to do it and not remember that man, who was now dead. Still though, perhaps tonight could be the night, each time they tried they seemed to get a little closer. "It's beautiful." Siege whispered to him softly as she turned her head sideways and softly kissed his lips pulling his chin down so that their lips met. Carressing gently in a beautiful loving manner before it broke. "How was your day?" she asked laying her head on his shoulder.

She asked him how was his day and they had shared another kiss, she was getting better, slowly but surely he knew she was recovering from the orphanage. He wished so many night he had just burst in there that night and killed the bastard before he had ever got the chance to lay a finger on her but this way, while it had cost them was easier and safer for them. They were not running or hiding they were living their lives and all he hoped that that she did not hate him for the time it took to arrange that.
He reached over to the wine bucket and the glasses next to it. He handed one to her and placed the other next to himself while his fingers worked the already loosened cork out of the bottle. “It was fine…did the normal stuff you know, practiced ad trained for a while, began to set this up..thought about you” he chuckled as he began to pour her glass first.
“Kathryn called to check up on us…she’s taking the mom thing to literally I guess” he chuckled light again “But…I guess its nice that some one cares if were doing alrght or not” his arm around her pulled her closer to him as he began to pour his own glass. “Its been quite thought for the most part…you know how well that seems to suite me” he said with a smile looking up to her.
“What about you, you were gone for a while…I take it you must have picked up a lot” he said softly putting the bottle away he grabbed his own glass he tapped it against her own gently “Cheers” he said softl with a smile before taking a sip

“It was fine…did the normal stuff you know, practiced ad trained for a while, began to set this up..thought about you” Siege smiled. He thought of her. It seemed they were constantly on each others minds these days. They were inseperable even at school. Meeting each other in the hallways. He was opening up more and more especially after the orphanage. She supposed it was then that he realized how important that she was to him. Her eyes looked up at him as he filled up her glass of wine. He had a romantic side. There was the day that he had sent her a set of three flowers in the middle of class. There was the day that he swept her up in his arms at the end of the day and carried her out of the school. They were such an odd couple. She being such a punk, even still in her dress at school, but around the home she dressed softer for him. And him always in his suits, and yet they had never known love so strong until they met each other. "I thought of you too. I have a present for you when we go back inside." “Kathryn called to check up on us…she’s taking the mom thing to literally I guess” “But…I guess its nice that some one cares if were doing alrght or not” Siege chuckled and rolled her eyes at the same time. He was right Kathryn was taking this mom thing WAY too far. She supposed that she had the right to. Afterall she had helped bail them out of trouble as much as the lawyer and even Josiah. And she was unfortunaly Siege's mother now. But Siege refused to move out and luckily Kathryn was understanding but she was being very mom in setting down a few rules about things but Siege never listened. She didn't care what Kathryn wanted, she didn't really know the woman, she was only the tool that they had used to get their freedome and back into each others' arms. “Its been quite thought for the most part…you know how well that seems to suite me” Siege chuckled as he pulled her tighter. "It did. But I think you don't mind a little bit of noise in your life so much now." she said looking up at him softly. It was true that when they had first agreed to move in together, neither of them had really gotten along all that well. She was physical and he was her polar opposite. She made a ton of noise and messes and it bugged him to no end. But over time, fights, and laughter they grew close, and now they were something special. Something Siege hoped would last a long time to come. She knew that she wasn't going anywhere, and with the look in Jo's eyes she doubted he was either. It helped keep her secure when she saw how cold and distant he was still to people he didn't know. And only warmed up into the shining ray of boyfriend that he was when she came over to him. Changing into a completely different person. The only person that could reach that side of Jo was Siege and she loved knowing that it was that way. “What about you, you were gone for a while…I take it you must have picked up a lot” Siege chuckled. "I got a bit. Some new stuff for me. And that present for you. I also had some coffee. I figured you wouldn't mind the quiet in the house for you to do whatever you do when I'm not bugging you all day." As they clinked glasses she rose her glass to her lips and took a long slow sip resting her head on his shoulder. Watching the water crash into the beach was so romantic, especially with the way he was holding her. The breeze rushing over them.. And the fact that they were utterly alone. The parties had begun shutting down, it was getting colder, most parties were moving into houses where it could be warmer, and the weather changed so much these days that it was hard to plan a party and keep it. "I thought a lot about.. that day.. when you came to save me. I just.. can't get over the feeling of utter exhileration when I heard your voice, and when you came over to me. And put your warm coat on me. I never felt more accepted by you than in that moment as you held me. Unwilling to let go. Wrapping me in your scent, your coat, and your arms. It was.. amazing." Siege spoke in a whisper as she looked out at the ocean. "I love you so much Josiah Sharp." she whispered snuggling her face into his neck and closing her eyes.

He smiled as she said that she got some new stuff for herself though he could not help but wonder exactly what is was that she had picked up for him. She had a way of surprising him but he also knew that he was not the easiest man to shop for so the fact that she had picked something up for him intrigued him greatly. What was it what could it possibly be? A new outfit for him to wear out with her? Something for the house? It was a mystery one that he could not figure out. But as he held her the thought of what it could be left his mind.
He looked to her though after they sipped at their wine and she began to tell him of her thoughts and how she had been thinking of that day he had saved her. He cursed himself for not being there sooner but it seemed that him saving her had really left its imprint on her. That coat was still hers she had never left it go. He saw her wearing it from time to time especially when a morning chill was in the air. And from time to time she even made him wear it to further implant his scent into its fabric only to steal it again when his warmth and scent were back in its confines
“I love you to…not a day goes by that I don’t wish I had picked a better time to tell you that” he sighed softly holding her. His head lowered softly “Baby…about that day…can you ever forgive me for not getting their sooner?...I feel so guilty…that my preperations took so long…that I took so much time to make sure our tracks were perfectly covered…that…that…that fucker was able to hurt you again” his voice seemed to break
“I should have just ran in gun blazing like my first instincts told me to…” He looked up to her “I’m so very sorry baby…I just wanted to make sure we could have real lives together..but.. I should have just listened to my heart for once instead of my brain” he pulled her closer “Can you ever forgive me?”

“I love you to…not a day goes by that I don’t wish I had picked a better time to tell you that” Siege remembered. They had thrown him on the ground and were in the middle of handcuffing him when he screamed out that he loved her. She bit her lower lip and looked up at him, touching his cheek so that his soft crimison eyes would look right at her. She gave him a smile. "Baby, that you said you loved me at all, no matter the circumstance, meant the world to me." And it was true. She was shocked that he had sait it. They had been together for so long, and she had told him a while ago that she loved him but he had never been able to say it back. They had done so much together and been through so much and yet never before had he told her that he loved her. And that was a phrase that would forever stick in her mind. She had waited so long to hear those words. And then when he told them to her she could see the truth in his eyes as he screamed it to her and from then on she was his and his alone. “Baby…about that day…can you ever forgive me for not getting their sooner?...I feel so guilty…that my preperations took so long…that I took so much time to make sure our tracks were perfectly covered…that…that…that fucker was able to hurt you again”
“I should have just ran in gun blazing like my first instincts told me to…” “I’m so very sorry baby…I just wanted to make sure we could have real lives together..but.. I should have just listened to my heart for once instead of my brain” “Can you ever forgive me?” Siege smiled as she took another sip of her wine before she sat her glass down to the side and turned sideways in his lap so that she could see him much more easily. She looked up into his eyes and she cupped his cheek. Love radiating for this man from every pore in her body. She lifted his face, he was always so unsure of himself. She found it nice that she could be here for him, that she could support him and make him happy. That she could be the one that he was fine with leaning against. "Josiah Sharp. That you came and got me at all was all I needed. It was all I hoped for. But the fact that you did it so that we can never.. ever.. be traced back to the murder of that fucker is best. We don't have to run for our lives now. We can stay here, in our home, and live together. Be happy. And live our lives together as we want to." Sage smiled, he was the only one that knew her real name and he was the only one that could call her that. The only one that she let get away with it. Gently, she pulled him close and kissed his lips. The overwhelming love she had for him moving through her. She wrapped her arms around his neck and gently she pulled him. Moving so that she was laying down on the blanket and he was going to have to move so that he was towering over her. She continued to kiss him, she loved him. And she felt as though she was finally ready to move this further again since she had been taken from him once more. "Say it again... please.. your feelings.." she whispered as the kiss broke. Gently she began to kiss and nibble on his neck while she waited to hear those words from him again.

She turned in his lap looking into his eyes as she cupped his cheek softly, he could feel this emotion pouring out of her the one she had given him long before her had be able to give it to her. He was lucky she was such a psersistant girl, that she had not given up on him when most others would have. He had not made it easy, infact he was pretty sure it would have been easier for her to turn water into wine but she had managed. She had worked her way so deep into his being he knew that if anything ever happened to her he would either be emotionally dead for the rest of his life or her would die from grief.
She gave him a soft smile before she pulled him close and kissed him. Kissing and hugging where all they really seemed to do now but he was fine with that, he wasn’t exactly the physical type except for when he was with her but he had understood. She had been tossed back into that horrible place and was still recovering but atleast she could still kiss him.
Before he knew it she was pulling them both down forcing him ontop of her as their lips continued their loving embrace. When it finally broke softly her arms stood around his neck holding him there softly as she whispered. He smiled but before he could say a thing she was already nibbling on his neck. It was hard not to just blurt out what he really wanted to say but that was the surprise. He wanted to do it later tonight and he wanted to she her face first thing in the morning when she would finally realize why he wanted tonight to be so special.
“I love you Sage” He said in a whispering moan as she found an nibbled on the little specially spot on his neck. She loved to use it against him, ever since she had found out where it was she seemed to use it on him whenever she could. His hand found itself tangled in her hairpulling his neck back softly and slowly so he could look her in her soft grey eyes “I love you baby…and I’m never letting go of you’ he said softly before kissing her lips giving her a soft gentle kiss.
When it broke he smiled softly look down at her “If we say like this....I’m going to lose my appietie for food” he said softly to her. He wished for her badly and being like this ontop of her only made him wish for her more his body dying to feel her own

“I love you Sage” She smiled softly as her lips and teeth continued to play with his neck. She loved the way that it felt when he was groaning against her. When he was clasping her tightly against his chest telling her then and there that he loved her and he wasn't going to let her go. Just with his hands, he could say so much that way. She loved him and he loved her too. He was someone that was so important to her, someone that she didn't ever want to lose or let go. The mere thought of being without him made her want to break down in tears. She did her best not to think about it. “I love you baby…and I’m never letting go of you’ "Good to know." Sage pulled him back down and entered in with him another long soft kiss. Her lips moving against his, softly kissing him, enjoying the taste of his amazing lips. The way that his hands grabbed at her waist. Clenching the material of her summer dress in his hand, she knew that he probably thought she was doing all this and once more it would have no end. Like a few times before when they had tried so hard to go somewhere special but been unable to do it in the end. But tonight she wanted to be different, she wanted to finally go there with him. “If we say like this....I’m going to lose my appietie for food” Sage looked up at him and smiled. "That's the idea, Josiah, my love. We can eat later." she whispered softly and pulled him back down into the kiss. She didn't want to eat, not right now. She wanted to just be with him. To love him, to feel it like they had never felt it before.

She looked up to him and smiled softly to him her words caught him by a bit of surprise though. Normally when he suggested something she just seemed to go with it and he figured given the situation she would go with it again but instead she just pulled him down into another kiss. Her lips telling him things hi was not sure he could believe. The weight of her arms pulling him as close as possible the feel of her body softly writhing beneath his own. He could do nothing more then deepen the kiss moaning into it as his hands moved over the clothed curves of her body.
Time seemed to move without them sunlight disappearing as they became lost in one another, he loved every small bit of her and hated these tight jeans she seemed to like him in. The next time the kiss broke he could feel his heart pounding his blood rushing through out him. It seemed so much darker now but he could see her so clearly as though she was a shinning light in his world.
“Sage” he said softly looking down to her his eyes screaming how badly he wished for her. “Are…are you sure….if we keep going like this…and…and we really haven’t since then” he paused lightly and sighed “Sage…I want you” he said as his hand moved cupping at her cheek softly “ But if you still need time, I understand”

“Sage” “Are…are you sure….if we keep going like this…and…and we really haven’t since then” Sage looked up at him. He looked so heatedly down at her. She could read in his eyes what he wanted. What they both wanted. She touched his face, moving across his cheek bone, enjoying the way he looked over her, cast in the moonlight. She doubted he would want it here, on the beach. She had always dreamed of it. But, she figured that he was much too prude for that kind of thing, he was afterall Josiah Sharp. And while he had come a long way she didn't figure he had come that far. “Sage…I want you” “ But if you still need time, I understand” Sage smiled. "I know you do. And you have understood for a while now." she whispered up to him. "But I decided today. I'm through with it all, I'm through with it because I want you Josiah, I love you and it isn't fair for me to hold it back from you." And with that she wouldn't let him speak. Instead she pulled him back down and kissed him lovingly. Long and lovingly. She loved to be around him. She loved being the woman that he adored. To make sure her message was clear she pulled his shirt up and off his body casting it to the side, her lips finding his again, she wanted to know him again. To adore him to show him how much she loved him because he was the one that she wanted to spend forever with.

She smiled at him she told him that she knew he understood, infact he was probably one of very few who could sympathize with her and know what it was she went through. That was why sex had not been important to him once he had got her back, he had not tried to push for it or expect anything from their kissing and cuddling which had never seemed to stop. He loved her and she could take as much time in the world that she had needed, after all when it had first begun she had done the same for him. But as she went on she surprised him and before he could speak his lips belonged to her again.
He held to her tightly lighting his fingers run through her hair only having to spot when she pulled off his shirt and cast it away only to have their lips lock again instantly. Without his shirt on her could feel her warmth now through her dress, her softness, the smooth texture of her skin from the arms she kept wrapped around him. Thiers lips their passion, he knew what it all meant cause he could feel it within himself. Both of them would rather die right now then have to stop this.
He broke the kiss panting and smiled looking down a her His arm reaching behind him and taking her hand and soflty pulling it from him. He didn’t say a word as he began to stand up. She looked up to him as he held her hand and used it to help herself up. She took a step toward the house but quickly he yanked her back to him and into another passionate kiss. His hands coming up to her shoulders and softly pulled the fabric of her dress from it as he continued to kiss her.
Softly he began to remove her dress letting it slid from her body and to the blanket beneath them she seemed a bit shocked up seemed to go with it as he felt her hand unbutton his jeans. He did not speak he only seemed to softly break the kiss and lift her into his arms before kneeling down and laying her on the blanket beneath them his ruby red eyes reflecting softly in the moon light telling her this was what he wanted His hand softly moved over the length of her body feeling the soft curves of her body once more.
“Don’t move” he whispered softly positioning himself ontop of her Softly he began to kiss at her neck and traveled down to her shoulder, his lips and soft kisses taking purchase everywhere on her as he moved down kissing every inch of the woman he loved bathed in the soft pale light of the moon. For once he wasn’t going to care, he knew where they were and he could not think of a spot he’d rather be.
