I had the opportunity to make life better but put it to waste,
all it took was a few hits to dudes face,
now I'm stuck wondering what to do in a pace,
10 years from now my son will want me to state my case,
how could you look your kid in the face and tell him life ain't the way it should be and your the one to blame,
tell him with a voice of shame that your the cause for all this pain,
how can you tell him to do things right when your past is just one big mistake,
man I wish life was a dream because I'm sick of being awake,
I wish I was asleep because reality fucks with me every day,
I feel something good should happen but I'm unsure of the price to pay,
to earn this better life in a non legit way,
