I know what you mean. "Oh, I'm a living heater. Isn't that convenient?" rofl xD My grammar sucks right now, forgive me. I need sleep! Zzzzz...
"Well, mine's much different than yours I guess. Mine gives me the energy to fight even if it seems like I've lost the upper hand. I can't really describe it. I didn't even think it was a Qi at first, but I can feel when it happens."
"That'd be useful in a fight, considering the kind of people we have at our school." Emily chuckled, returning the two bowls she had taken from and took a serving bowl instead, filling the now cooked soup into it. The bowl became hot quickly but it seemed as if Emily was more than used to such temperatures as she placed it onto the long table. "Ah, there."
Her fingers were pink. Well, the human body wasn't built for that thing.
"What do you think we should do about the School Captain position, Em? We can't run a school with just the two of us. They'll eat us alive." That question put the girl to a stop as she went and took some orange juice from the refrigerator. She was mid taking the pitcher from the shelf and just sighed.
Yeah, what about the School Captain position...? What was Emily supposed to do now? There were many things she could do, like assume the title for herself... but--
Even though she can, she wasn't that confident on herself to think she can handle the entire school at the level of the School Captain. Emily was hoping that David would come back and take his position again, but... the reality is..
That may not happen.
"Find a new one and have him assume the position as soon as possible." Emily sighed, closing the cold door and taking the pitcher of refreshments at the table. "Though, it's going to be tough..."
"Though," she said, after a short pause. Emily looked like she was contemplating on something serious. "... worse comes to worst, I... I'm thinking of assuming the position myself. I mean, if being "eaten alive" is a problem, then I'd rather have that than give it to someone who'll end up as a power-hungry psycho..."
She shuddered.
That was a scary thought.
