A New Sunset

Another day in Public High School #259, another person looking for a fight. A lot of people were up to that, but hey, corporal punishment, you needed to know how to fight to get around. Standing up, looking over at him Ghiste gave a weak chuckle, he was going to see if he could get out of it, but in reality, he knew it was never really that simple.

"Do I got a choice?"

Plain and simple, of course, if this guy just insisted in a more, nice manner, Ghiste probably would do it, if he was harsh, Ghiste would have to do it, and if he didn't really care, well... Ghiste would be getting out of a fight, fun!

[Aris Love]

Aris grinned. "Of course you got a choice, you always got a choice." Aris said thinking about the coin. "Your choices are sit here and be bored while I run around the clock tower." Aris said lifting up his index finger and numbering off the choices. "You're next one is running with me, and the last one is having a nice spar! That way we both have a little fun and time passes faster." Aris said in a cheery way.

"Whatever, I guess I can give it a shot then..."

With that being said, Ghiste put both of his hands up in a boxing like position his hands clinched tight, and his legs spread shoulder width apart. This was more of a basic fighting style that the boxers used more often if anything, but this wasn't Japan, ancient martial arts styles weren't the most common seen around this place. Besides, if this guy underestimated Ghiste for just his fighting style, he had another thing coming.

"Challenger goes first."

Aris grinned and instead of getting into a small fighting style first he just moved in forward. Why show the enemy what type of attacks you use before they have to. At a good five foot distance from Ghiste Aris put out his right leg as if he was going to stop and punch, but then moved his left leg behind his right leg and sent out his right leg in a side kick at Ghiste's left knee.

It was hard to block or catch a shot to the knee with your hands, and even though Aris's kicks weren't top notch or even that great he was opening with a kick for the soul purpose of giving his opponent the wrong illusion about him. It seemed a good idea. And Aris kept his hands up, his left hand by his head and his right standing out.

OOC: You got permission to say if the kick hits Ghiste's knee or not.

Alright, Ghiste was now waiting for Aris to come toward him, it was all fun and games, right? As the guy charged toward him, Ghiste didn't flinch, and kept his eyes directly focused on him until he saw a sign of an attack. Opening with a kick, that would mean he would have to take a slight break in his momentum to sucessfully send it without tripping and making a full of himself, unless he hurled himself into the air, but he didn't look like he was doing that. With that being said, during that short shift in momentum. Ghiste didn't bother to wait to see the attack, he quickly charged forward during this shift in Aris's momentum and sent a hard right palm strike aimed right toward his chest. The reason why he used his palm instead of his fist was because this was a spar, and there for Ghiste was more of trying to push him backward instead of actually damage him. Of course, if he did send his kick in time, there was no way to dodge it, but it would be pretty tricky to dodge or block this attack if he still sent the attack wouldn't it?

Aris's kick had a good chance of landing. Key word was HAD. Unfortunately Aris had chosen to step twice, turning his kick into a skipping sidekick, but taking longer with less space in between. Unfortunately, even though faster than Ghiste, he was not fast enough to make a kick like that land.

His foot fell back as the palm hit him and Aris stumbled backwards. But then he turned his momentum into a backwards spin and got his bearings as he got back into a fighting position. "This time, you go." Aris said as he smiled and moved his torso a little bit.

Aris was in a slightly normal fighting stance with his back leg(right) slightly bent and his left leg straight, making him lean on his right. He had his left hand laying by his leg and his right hand inbetween his chest and head.

OOC: You'll have to note that I have gotten about 10x better than when we fought last time. ^^

Unfortunately, while Aris was talking, Ghiste was charging. With that said, Ghiste quickly closed the gap that Aris made, and he charged in to where he was directly in striking distance, and then halted in both feet. Why? Well, instantly after he sent a hard right fist toward Aris's left shoulder, this of course cutting down the power, and the speed, but it is also made it incredibly tough to counter. This guy could attempt to grab it, but that was the best thing he could get to a successful counter. Plus, he had some factors to work out with the gram. Anyways, Ghiste made his attack, and of course, it was very basic, and easy to doge, yet difficult to counter. Still, Aris had less reaction time due to Ghiste following through his first attack instead of just letting this guy talk, giving Ghiste surprise on his side. Could this guy manage to keep his thoughts straight, and not let fear of being hit sink in? Well, that was up to him!

IC: Aris saw Ghiste take initiative. But the distance between them was good enough for Aris to gather his bearings. If they had been right by each other Aris would have felt the hit a while ago, but even while talking Aris still was focusing on Ghiste. And Aris saw Ghiste rush towards him.

First thing Aris did as Ghiste neared was Aris swung his left foot backwards, the casual side dodge and since Aris had all his weight on his right foot it made the moving part that much easier. As Aris swung his left foot back Ghiste's punch was dodged. But Aris wasn't done.

True Ghiste's punch made it hard for Aris to block, but easy to dodge and retaliate. Aris immediately sent his right hand towards Ghiste's Right shoulder because it would be closer to Aris because he punched with that arm. And (if not grappled) Aris would pull back his arm and send out his left hand towards Ghiste's chest as his right hand would be gaurding his head again.

Luckily, Ghiste had halted all of his leg momentum when he made that attack, making dodging incredibly easy. Even if Aris managed to dodge, which Ghiste admitted was an easier thing to do, there was a very slim chance of a counter actually being effective against Ghiste. With that being said, Ghiste quickly bent both legs, since the attack was aimed at his shoulder, that meant it had no chance of actually hitting him. When that was done, Ghiste quickly rushed forward before Aris could make any other move, and then sent a hard left uppercut shaped hand right toward Aris's stomach. Unfortunately, unlike Ghiste, Aris was moving in a more forward motion when he made his attack, there for making struggling around this one harder. Fortunately for him though, Ghiste was open in a wide variety of areas when he made this attack. Yet another unfortunate thing though, was the fact that now they were so close together, Ghiste could hit him just as easy as he could hit Ghiste.

Aris knew the second he saw Ghiste bent down that he only had one option left. Aris bent both arms and bent his knees as well, now both of his elbows would land simultaneously on Ghiste's shoulders. And since Aris was moving down and Ghiste had moved forward (That's what I interpreted Charge As). Ghiste had to change his movement by punching forward, but Aris simply had to move his legs down because moving his arms he did during mid fall.

So Ghiste's punch and Aris's elbows should land at about the same time. Aris would be out of breath, and Ghiste would hopefully be jolted enough to not punch for a bit.

Well, it seemed Ghiste's fist hit deep into Aris's stomach, this would most likely bend forward, of course, his attack hit Ghiste's shoulders, but it was no where near enough to keep Ghiste down for long enough of a time. Still, Ghiste knew keeping himself in this position was suicide, so he quickly in to where pretty much his head was near this guy's chest, this taking like... half a second, and then quickly extended his legs where the top of his head would slam hard into this guy's face, unless the punch somehow didn't make him bend inward, and he had a very incredible endurance, then it would just hit his chin. Now, easily said, Ghiste's shoulders were in pain, but you got to remember adrenaline was rushed into his veins about now, and pumping him to continue on just that much more. If Ghiste's attack hit the right spot, this could just be over, after all, there was no point in getting too serious over a fight, right?

Aris bent over and he was no fool... he hoped. As Ghiste pushed forward Aris sprawled, something he had learned in wrestling, and managed to hit the ground and escape Ghiste's head. Who knew how dangerous that thing was. Aris had now found a way to get under Ghiste's blow, but now he was in a tricky spot. Ghiste was standing, and Aris was on his stomach so Aris did the most sensible thing he could think of.

He pushed both of Ghiste's legs forward so Ghiste's shins would go backward and since Ghiste was leaning forward he would sprawl too. Unfortunately once again Aris did not think fully and Ghiste would probably land right on top of Aris. Possibly ending the fight right there, but who knew.

TIMBER! Well, some what, except getting dirty was not the thing Ghiste really wanted to do. With that being said, he kept balance with one foot pushing backward, mean while his other leg bent into a knee position meant to catch himself. Now, this is a spar, but somethings just can't be helped, Ghiste was going to catch himself with his knee, but it was going to collide hard into the back of his opponent, or the ribs, possibly breaking them, if he actually was dumb enough to try to roll away in such a short amount of time. Of course, this was painful to Ghiste a bit just because his muscles were now stretching at a quick rate, hell, he might pull something through this! Maybe this guy could magically find a way to avoid this, but let's not forget Ghiste wasn't moving in slow motion, so his right knee would be hitting the body/ground in about... half a second. Oh! And let's not forget that gravity was on his side too!

Aris had dug a hole. A big big big hole. It was almost useless to dig himself out and he didnt have the time. I mean how could he possibly think of a magical idea that would save him from his oncoming opponent. Worse yet was when Aris looked up to see, not a stomach, but a knee coming at him. Poor Aris.... well there was only one thing he could do.

Aris, who was still holding onto his opponent's foot, he attempted his hardest to push it farther out. He had what, a second maximum before his opponents knee came on him. So that was a second to stretch out the leg of his already oncoming opponent who probably had less control of his whole body movement because he was falling. Aris was stronger, he had one advantage.

OOC: You get to say if I pushed the foot in time/hard enough. And you can say where it landed. Either way you can say that fight's over, either a tie or loss, your choice.

OOC: Yeah, it can count as your loss. =P

The power of gravity and body weight... Well, Ghiste didn't really want to hurt Aris that bad, this was some sort of spar, so he sort of went along backing up. Still, the knee hit right hard pinching the flesh right beside his ribs against the ground. This could make the guy cry, or something, it was painful! Whoops, Ghiste didn't really mean to, and quickly, after like... four seconds which could seem like an eternity toward this guy, Ghiste got back onto his feet wiping off his blue jeans which got dirty. That was so uncool, that was definitely not worth all of this. Why his blue jeans? Fixing them while he let the other guy do whatever it is he was doing, Ghiste let out a huge sigh, what was the point in fighting?

"I am assuming you understand I've won this, after all, I COULD of let that knee hit full force."

Ghiste was breathing heavy, and you could tell it in his voice, he couldn't last long in a fight, and all of that was annoying! Not only that, but he felt a hard pain rushing into his shoulders, that attack was not a fun one to take. Still, he could of been in this guy's position, and that would be a lot worse.

"Not to say you can't make a come back, but this is a spar, nothing to get us anymore ugly over."
