A New Sunset

[Aris Love]

The courtyard was truly beautiful, the large clocktower, the beautiful bushes, the uncluttered grounds. Aris hated it. He liked beauty, but not tamed beauty. He hated how everything was so orderly, he hated how every bush was neatly trmimed and how the clock tower was so perfect. His philosophy were that things were just as wrong as they seemed, and this was clearly someone trying to change things.

Everyone tried changing things, even Aris, but he did not try to whip things into shape. He believed that freedom was how to make things perfect, not order. But he was new, he had yet to see the true face of the school.

Maybe that was why he came so early, maybe that was why he had decided to arrive at the school at this early hour. School would not start for a while, maybe an hour or two and the sun had just arosen. It was still sitting under the trees, and it still gave off that pinkish tint. Now that was the majestic, free beauty that Aris had so awaited. That was what he wished for.

But today was not yet over, and today he would find what this school truly was about. He sat down on a bench and leaned back, he was facing the sunrise and he was awaiting for something, anything, to give him a hint about this school.

"Tell me again why I got to go to school so early!?"

"Roy, I got to go to work early today, and you got no form of transportation."

"Alright, alright, whatever."

With that, Ghiste slammed the door to the car that his brother and law was driving, and then slipped his hands into the pockets of his black leather jacket. That was just dandy, now Ghiste was all alone out on the school court yard. Well, at least that's what he thought until he saw a guy sitting down under the tree. Alright, Ghiste was all alone, he had nothing to do, and he would die of boredom if he just sat there for who knows how long? With that being said, it would be best to go introduce himself and make another friend, right?

Why the hell not!?

Moving over to the tree where the guy was sitting, and acting casual, Ghiste gave a weak little smile, and then began to make his godly introduction! Yes, this guy should be honored, the pretty boy was saying hi! Yes, but he wasn't gay, so no worries for this guy, Ghiste was just nice to everyone. Anyways, hopefully this guy wasn't one of those violence pumped freaks that you see all over the place now days.

"I guess I'm not the only one early, name's Ghiste, how about you?"

This was just a good way to make friends, so what if it was weird that he was just openly introducing himself, it was better than doing nothing, right!?

Pretty boy?

Aris turned to him and nodded. "Stupid clocktower woke me up." He said sticking his tongue out at the large building in the center. Aris looked him up and down, long hair, interesting way of introducing himself. He seemed very different from what Aris immediately expected.

"So, why are you out here this early?" Aris asked curiously, he doubted that more than just him got woken up and went down to the courtyard. And, atleast to Aris, Ghiste seemed normal enough. Perhaps a bit spasitc and peppy, but first impressions are almost always wrong. "By the way, I'm Aris."

"My stupid brother in law had to go to work early, and lack of transportation."

Letting out a huge yawn, Ghiste took a seat next to Aris, a good five feet distance away though to give him personal space. Looking up over a the sky, Ghiste didn't really make any sudden judgments of this guy except that he wasn't as complicated to talk to. It was much better than the anti-social people who usually end up just saying nothing, and making everything awkward!

"Well, at least I'm not the only one out here, being alone at this place gives me the creeps."

Aris chuckled, "Amehn to that." He said as he looked up at the tower. It left a gruesome shadow upon the ground and the four buildings each looked like jail cells. The tower was just where they spawned from, where they were created. Aris turned to Ghiste. "I didn't catch your name." Aris mentioned, he was determined to get his name.

"Are you also new here?" Aris asked curiously.

OOC: Ah, the good ol' days... Well, for the most part! ^^

Apparently he didn't hear Ghiste's name when he first introduced himself, but he could easily repeat, how hard would it be right?

"Ghiste, I've been here since the school first opened, freshman class though, you?"

Ghiste didn't really change much... he changed his eye contact looking over at Aris and had a smile, other than that, he was just as normal as he was when he first sat down. What do you expect, for him to change his posture every time he says a word!? Leave the guy alone!

Aris shrugged, "I'm a transfer, just got here. I'm a freshman too though. But I suppose being a transfer makes you a little bit more on the outside...." Aris paused, "But I also guess that a lot of people here are transfers." Aris added meekly.

Ghiste smiled, Aris smiles when he feels right, but at the moment he felt more like eating. "So which building is the cafeteria in?" He asked looking around for something to eat. "And when does it open, all this school stuff has gotten me hungry." Aris said, grinning now.

OOC: OMG! I don't know what building the cafeteria is in! >_>

"They don't serve breakfast for another thirty minutes... but it's in that one."

Ghiste pointed in front of him, what building it was, well... he forgot? It doesn't matter, that was the building the cafeteria was in, and that was final. Looking over at it, he just couldn't help, but get that blank in his head. This guy was lucky being new as well, he didn't have to go through what Ghiste did at the first day assembly! Looking back over at him, keeping that confident smile because it always made the conversation better, and it was just Ghiste's character he began to speak again.

"Which is why going to school early sucks because you get absolutely NOTHING out of it except a guarantee that you won't be late."

Aris laughed, "You don't get that either. Usually as the bell rings you get ready and you just realize that you have forgotten something. So you run over there and by the time you get to class you are late." Aris pointed out as he picked up a rock and threw it at the clock tower.

It made a Thonk type of noise as it bounced off, Aris grinned and threw another pebble. This one hit the metal base of the tower and made a Ping sound. Aris frowned, the result was different, it was obvious as to why, but what was unclear was why the pebble hit a little bit lower this time. "Boo, I was really hoping for some food."

"Well, that's your fault for being forgetful then, now isn't it?"

Ghiste said this while letting out a small chuckle. Unlike Aris who was throwing stuff, Ghiste kept his full attention on the guy, and that's just about it... He didn't have any magical thoughts about saying a sentence, it WAS just a sentence after all, not much effort involved in it at all.

Aris grinned as the third rock made the Thonk sound again. "I suppose, but I prefer blaming society. That way I can channel my anger into an organization that can take the heat instead of into me." Aris said and then looked at Ghiste.

"So..." Aris wondered conversationally, "Do you live in the town? Or..." Aris left the sentence hanging for him to fill it in. It was more just out of curiousity, but he was a curious person.

"I live in a house with my sister in the suburbs bordering close to the city, just in the zone border to attend this school. How about you?"

Yeah, Ghiste wasn't really descriptive on where exactly he lives, he DIDN'T need stalkers. Two days a go he had some random girl follow him all day, he did NOT need that again. And that is why he barely said much at all. Yep... still, he gave enough info, and why would Aris really care about any more specifics anyways!?

Aris nodded. It was a very blunt answer and that's what Ghiste seemed to be. To Aris Ghiste was the embodiement of simple and humble and perhaps even blunt. He was exactly what most people expected to see. He gave the answers that most people wanted.

"I live in the dorm rooms, they gave me one." he said nodding towards the school.

OOC: At this point this topic is now officially closed, so I don't want anyone interrupting it. Love, if you got objections, just state it OOC, and it can remain open. I just like to keep my fights 1v1 when post whoring because well... the posts will be like crazy, and no need to be confused. ^^

"They have dorms here? I... never knew that."

Really, he didn't know that, but now thinking it through he could probably guess on to why they have them. It was a pretty interesting thing to think about, but yet a lot of things were. The world was a big mystery, what can you say!?

"So like... are they good rooms, or filled with yucky cockroaches and stuff?"

OOC: XD, Nope I got no problems with it.

IC: Aris grinned, "Only my room's got cockroaches." He said devilishly as he jumped out of his seat. He looked at Ghiste and then at the clock. "Look, Ghiste, I usually don't ask this often, but I need something to pass the time until school starts. And since there is no food." Aris paused and threw up his coin.

'Tails', the word rang through his head and he looked at Ghiste. "So would you like to spar? I got extra energy anyways." He said with a smile.
