Pew Pew Pew~ [Sara Quinn/Open]

So, it was just one of those average days, the sun was shining, the bird's were chirping, the neighbourhood kids where just chilling out.. That's not right! They looked rather bored really, which was not a good thing; especially since they were children. Had they no imagination? No idea of what fun was? Probably not. Which wasn't a good thing, she had to fix it. Addie Balfour headed towards the ground of board children, knowing all too well they'd probably think her odd; for her dress was probably a little strange. That wasn't quite the point, she wanted them to have fun; it's what children should do.

"Oi! Boy-o's!" The brunette called as she got closer, "Why're you just sitting about? Have you no leg power? Surely you must."

Yes, Addie was being quite odd, why? She was in a relatively good mood because Dist finally got to join her home! Well, the little apartment she called home. With her snake at home she was a far more bearable person, though that theory was yet to be tested against a female; surely the time would come.

"Whaddd'ya want lady?" One kid questioned as he looked up at her, a frown on his little pudgy face.

"Yeah! What's it to you?" Another young boy questioned as she shifted a little.

"There's nothing to do, so we sit here."

The brunette looked at the group, there was seven of them. Surely, there was something they could do. It bothered her to see them waste the day away doing nothing! "It's lovely out! Why not ride bikes, skate board, roller skate, go to the beach? play a game of catch or soccer!" Addie questioned as she placed a hand on her hip, wondering what sort of excuses the young boys would come up with.

"We don't all have those things."

"Yeah, and we can't leave the others out."

Impressed. Addie was impressed by their comradery! To not leave anyone out, such a thing in children was quite rare now a days. Think.. think.. think... What could they do?

"Well, why not play a game?"

"Like what?"

"Well you see, you are all cops and the pedestrians are robbers or law breakers." She paused to think to herself LIkeeee me! But they don't know that.. ha ha ha She smiled and then continued her explanation. "You guys are to go under cover and find the leader! The leader is the person making them do really bad things! Stop him or her and you can have peace in the neighbourhood once again!" She had to stop and think about what she said.

"That sounds lame."

"It does."

The it hit her! A game, some what similar. "Okay, how about this. Ten point for each person you get. How to get the points. First of all, make a hand gun." She paused an showed them her hands, it was like making an L with your thumb and pointer. " So, you can have one or two. Then you have to be very sneaky, make sure not to be seen. Then run up and go PEW PEW PEW! For each person that looks, you get ten points. If you get spotted you lose five points. The winner of the game wins ice cream!" Addie said laughing a little, wondering if the children would have some for of fun with the game; if they'd think about it at all.

"Okay, we'll play. But! You have to attack a person too and join in."

"Suhweet, I get to win the first ten points?" The brunette questioned as she smirked a little, "Great! It'll be really fun."

She turned away from the boys, her sky blue gaze scanning the surroundings; looking for a person. Incoming target! Locked! Prepare attack. Addie made the L shape with both hands and then interlocked her fingers to create a single gun. Crouching down a little, she slowly followed the target. Making sure to be quiet and go unnoticed. She got close enough and then..

"PEW PEW PEW PEW!"

Sara walked slowly, dragging her feet as she made her way home. She was so tired. She wished she could fly. Flying would be nice. Her tiredness was probably a result of her boredom. Her uncle was once again away from home, and she was all alone in the apartment. She was lonely. And when she was lonely, she was bored.

She didn't want to go home. Back to the empty, lonely apartment. If she did, she would only go to sleep, and if she slept, she knew she would actually feel worse, more tired, more bored, more lazy, if that was even possible. She needed to think of something to do, something to keep her entertained.

Sara was completely lost in her thoughts at this point, oblivious to the girl following her progress. She was off on another planet, spacing out. There was no way this could end well...

"PEW PEW PEW PEW!"

Sara was jolted out of her thoughts, reacting instinctively, crouching defensively. She spun, her eyes searching for whatever was making that noise. It had scared the crap out of her whatever it was.

Her eyes fell on a girl. A strange girl wearing a strange dress, making a strange sound. What the hell was wrong with her? The girl was pointing her hands at her, placed together, fingers entwined, index fingers pointing out like a gun. You have to be kidding me... She is NOT shooting at me with her fingers... She wanted to rip her hair out. It wasn't just the school she went to that was filled with CRAZY PEOPLE, it was the WHOLE DAMN CITY! $50 says she goes to 259 she bet herself. She wasn't happy. This girl had scared the shit out of her, what the hell was she thinking?

Finally, she opened her mouth, calling out to the girl. "What the hell was that for?!"

"What the hell was that for?!"

Addie straightened up and started to laugh, it was indeed fun; the girl's reaction was hilarious. Though, her attitude didn't seem to be a good one, which just annoyed Addie a little more so. Slowly, she knew all to well the lovely mood that seemed to eat her whole was going to disappear, but such was the fate to her good moods when a girl was involved. Turning a little the brunette saw the children rush forward, they seemed happy; joining in her laughter too. Which was a good thing, after all! They'd start having some fun, not just wasting a perfectly nice day.

"That was awesome!"

"I know!! I waannnaaa play!"

"Mee too!! Will you play with us?"

The young boys were all so happy, jumping about, laughing, smiling; it was rather refreshing. She managed to spark their interest with a simple game. Her sky blue gaze once again returned to the girl she pew pew pewed, a smile on her face. It was about time to give the target an explanation, lest she find herself flustered with the group. Well, it was only a guess, judging by the way the stranger reacted to her pew pew pewing.

"Well, you see!" Addie struck a pose, once again forming a gun with her hands. "I'm Addie Balfour, under cover cop! I dress like a pedestrian to sniff out the trouble makers!" This time she posed like a girl off the charlie's angles movie poster, " I'm here to right wrongs, triumph over evil...and that means you!" With that the brunette pointed at the girl, once again striking a different pose; it was that of the Champion of Justice! Sailor Moon! At the end of her little spiel the young boys all started to laugh and talk amongst themselves; trying to figure out how to look cool with their 'hand guns'. Addie couldn't help but laugh at them, it was amusing.

"Sorry about that, I wanted to demonstrate how to play the game! You just happened to be the only person I saw." The brunette said, as she once again turned to look at the stranger; placing a hand on her hip. "Sorry for scaring you."

It was fun, Addie had completely forgotten about her dislike for girls; for the moment at least. Surely, she'd return to her senses eventually.

Sara watched the young boys trying to copy the strange girl. And strange she was. She had no problem prancing around spouting Sailor Moon quotes, and posing like Charlie's Angels. She managed to get the children all excited and having fun. She never could have done that. It was like Sara was born without that feminine ability to deal with children.

Addie, as she had introduced herself, was laughing with the children. It was interesting to watch her interact with them. It seemed to Sara that she was just a child herself, at least in mind. And it was... refreshing. She found herself envious of the girl. Not so envious that she wanted to join in, but envious that everything just seemed so... happy.

"Sorry about that, I wanted to demonstrate how to play the game! You just happened to be the only person I saw. Sorry for scaring you."

Sara snapped out of her thoughts. "Oh? No, it's alright. That's fine." She smiled back at the girl. "I'm Sara. Sara Quinn. It... seems like an interesting game to say the least..." She wondered what the hell they were supposed to be playing that involved sneaking up on people and scaring the crap out of them. "What exactly are you playing?" She turned her attention back to the kids, watching them run around and try to pose like Addie had, and she couldn't help but smile as she watched them.

The children at that point in time were pretty busy running around, imitating her; it was amusing to watch. The brunette had a smile on her face as she watched her, though her sky blue gaze traveled over to the young lady; she couldn't help but wonder what she was thinking. After all, it wasn't everyday one gets attacked by such an odd girl and her 'hand gun'. She continued to smile, even though the girl's presence was slowly bothering her; but it was something she'd have to get passed. In oder to get anywhere in the world, one must learn to tolerate people of both genders; lest you wish to fail due to annoyance.

"Addiiiee!! Can we start the game?"

"Yeah!! Can we? Can we?"

"pppweeaaaseee!!"

The boys were excited, running around, pew pew pewing each other and laughing; Addie couldn't help but join in on the laughing. She crouched down and got down on to their level, a smile on her face as she did so."OKay, Okay.you begin. Every time to hit someone you have to run to me. The same goes if you get caught." The brunette paused for a moment, [color=goldenrod"Remember, I've got my eye on you all! No cheating. If you are caught cheating, there will be no ice cream at all."[/color] She gave them a stern look and they merely nodded and ran off.

For a moment Addie remained crouched down on the ground, but she straightened up and turned towards the girl soon after; though for only a moment did her sky gaze stay on her; she had a score to keep for the game. The brunette watched them waring a smile on her face, they were having fun! and not just sitting about; that was good. The young boys were doing well, from what she saw at least; it was amusing.

"Oh? No, it's alright. That's fine."

The girl smiled, maybe she wasn't what she seemed? Or perhaps she was quite the actress. Questions, questions.

"I'm Sara. Sara Quinn. It... seems like an interesting game to say the least..."

"Pleasure to meet'cha Sara!" Addie said, trying her best not to sound like a jerk, or offend her."Oh it can be," The brunette laughed, she was finding the girl a little less horrible with each passing second; which was a good thing.

"What exactly are you playing?"

Pausing for a moment to think, Addie tried to find a way to word it. "A random game I made up on th spot. The object is too walk up behind people and shout PEW PEW PEW! If you don't get seen before attacking you get ten points, if you are spotted, you lose five points. Winner gets ice cream." The girl laughed a little, knowing all to well the same sounded lame.

Sara watched the strange girl interact with the children. In some ways, Sara wished she had the... skills to do that, and in other ways... No. Sara wasn't a huge fan of children and she was just fine with not interacting with them. But watching this girl do it was just great. It was amazing to see what she was doing, and how she was interacting with them. Sara didn't think anything bad about this girl, but for herself, she was just to shy and self-conscious to be doing something like that.

The girl glanced back at Sara and she shot her a smile, but her focus was on the game, so Sara decided to just hang back and watch for the moment. In answer to her question, the girl spoke, seeming as though she was choosing her words carefully.

"That sounds... really interesting actually. You have quite the imagination." Sara hoped that comment didn't offend her, because it was honestly meant in the kindest way possible. But you never knew with some people how they would react to certain comments. But... If this girl tried to pick something Sara, she would be surprised to see that Sara was a lot tougher then she looked.

She decided maybe she would stick around for a while. Not like she had anything else to do. She stepped back, leaning against the wall behind her, and slid to the ground. She curled her legs up under her and made her self comfortable as she watched the children.

"So... You're really going to buy the winner ice cream? What about the losers?" She looked over to the girl. Losers still deserved something didn't they?
