Tai sat up in a tree asleep. It was his first day he wasn't making too god of an impression like this but oh well. He was tired and he could probably make up the work he missed today. And besides! He was having a really good dream.
~Dream~
Tai sat asleep in a tree! Yup not a care in the world no one was there bugging him either until....
~Reality~
Tai rolled over and fell out of the tree with a thump as he landed. He got up rubbing his head and the dusted himself off. He threw his backpack over his shoulder and decided to go to class. He didn't start to walk there though just yet..
"Ow..."

Chi had been walking through the courtyard when all of a sudden, a boy fell from a tree directly in front of her! The dark haired girl shrieked, jumping backwards instinctly, dropping her gray and pink messenger bag, contents starrering at his feet. With a sigh, the girl stooped down, carefully though as she was in a miniskirt, and began gathering her things, her cheeks flushed.
"Scare me half to death..boys falling out of trees.."
She grumbled, reaching for a few pens off to her left and shoving them back into her bag.
((ooc: I couldn't help it...lol. Tai, chi? Too perfect to not meet xD))

ooc: Oro? I dun get it.... oh and sorry for the late reply...
ic: Tai yawned and looked over at the girl, "Huh... sorry..." Tai bent down and helped the girl pick up her things. Tai was pretty tired. Not sleeping at night because of playing video games and reading comics on a school night wasn't too good of an idea.
"Are you alright.." He wanted to make sure that he hadn't scared the girl too bad.
ooc: sorry for the short post... I've lost all of my rp ability....

((ooc: tai chi, also known as tai chi chuan...is a form of chinese martial arts used primarily for self defense and meditiation...it's just kind of funny about our two charries names...*shakes head*...nevermind.))
Chi finished picking up her things, slightly grateful that the boy had chosen to help her. As he should, since he scared her in the first place. She stood up, brushing off her skirt and slinging her bag bag over her shoulder. Her cheeks were a bit pinkinsh from the scare and being a little miffed.
"Thanks, you really should be careful about falling out of trees around here. I'm Chihiro, by the way, but everyone calls me Chi."
She looked at the boy for a moment, he was kind of cute, if a little spacey. Maybe he was just tired. But that still didn't give him an excuse to do what he just did..her heart was still racing from the scare. Stupid boys falling from trees, really.

ooc: Oh.. what I'm not a morning person... sorry for the late reply.. wasn't home all day..

The boy yawned. Still being tired and a little pain from falling from the tree but he was used to the pain from trees. He fell from trees all the time. He slept in em all the time and fell from them even more.
"As for falling... it doesn't hurt as much after you've fallen a couple hundred times...."

"Hmm..Tai, nice name. It's a pleasure to meet you, though I would have rather it been under better circumstances.."
Chi laughed, smiling a bit. So he was extremely tired, no wonder he had fallen out of the tree..
"Might I suggest some coffee? It might wake you up a bit.."

"Huh... uh.... alright sure..."
Tai smiled and stretched a bit. He wondered where exactly they would get coffee. It's not like most schools actually sold coffee to students. It didn't matter. He picked up his backpack again since he had put it down to help the girl pick up her stuff. Slinging it over his shoulder, he stetched out a bit.
"So where exactly are we gonna get coffee..."

Chi was a little put off by the 'huh, alright, sure..' No one ever dared talk to her in such an offhanded manner. But she ignored this for now, as he seemed barely conscious. The dark haired girl grinned, chocolate eyes glinting mischievously.
"Why, at the coffe shop of course..where else?"
She said, beginning to trek to the other end of the courtyard where there was a gate. Beyond the gate was a road, and down the road at the corner of Elm and Coral was...dun dun dun, a coffeeshop. She took a few steps, paused and looked back at him.
"Well, are you coming?"
((ooc: I just assumed they were in a courtyard, with the trees and all..*shrug*))

Tai shrugged. So they weren't gonna get coffee from school like he guessed. He put his hands in his pocket and walked up to the gates. Skipping school wasn't anything new to Tai but most of the times when he skipped school he was sleeping up in a tree. The reason was because he didn't want to skip and go back home to his parents seeing as his dad was quite abusive. But now that Tai lived on his own sometimes he would just go home and play video games or something. That was when he remembered he still lived on his own. He made a habit of sleeping out in trees.
