Matrim got himself positioned in the circle, putting his right foot against his knife, marking his spot. He had been waiting for a fight like this, something with the gloves off. He took his eye patch off for the depth perception, and got ready. He knew that Sara was no laughing matter, sure he could take the hits, but she herself was a pretty determined fighter. She refused to quit sometimes, and this was a fight that would suit her well. Letting her exercise that will to keep going on, the very same will Matrim showed. Even if they punched each other stupid he imagined this could go on for awhile.
With his right foot back on the knife, and his left foot forward a bit, they'd be within punching range of each other, and it would be a battle of who was more strong headed. Matrim liked his odds. The very second Sara would be ready to fight Matrim would begin fighting, no warning no asking questions, he would just start with his attack. His fists clenched, he would attempt to punch her in her left side, aiming for her ribs with his right fist, once he attempted this, hit or no hit he would throw a left cross punch aiming for her right cheek with his left fist.
Matrim had no words for this fight, only stone cold hard determination to win. He hoped Sara was ready to do the same.
Let's see what you are really made of.

Sara stepped up to the circle, her eyes looking around, taking it all in. She had to admit, she had been surprised when he had suggested something like this. It was an interesting prospect. She had never been in a fight quite like this one. She noted the two knives sticking out of the floor, judging the distance between them with her eyes. This height difference would be both a blessing and a drawback. She would be able to dodge a lot of his higher attacks, but would have a little trouble reaching him herself. She felt the excitement building. There were so many possibilities for this fight.
She grinned, stepping up to her own knife, and pushing her right foot against it, testing its give. She tested out her left foot, deciding on where to plant it. She finally found a spot where she felt comfortable, and she planted her foot. She stared up at him, smiling, she didn't think she would ever get a chance to fight like this again, and she was damn well going to make this one work.
She nodded, and it began. She had expected him to speak, because she knew how much he loved to talk about himself, but he didn't. Instead he went right for the good stuff, his right fist connecting with her side. She collapsed in on herself, her upper body bending downwards, his second punch missing her.
She tilted her head to see him, and when his arm drew back, she would draw her left fist back, aiming to slam it into his gut still crouched. She would strengthen this punch by forcing her body upwards as she punched at him, standing straight, and then uppercut into his chin with her right hand.

Matrim was hit in the gut and it pushed him back into the knife a little, and then the uppercut connected, sending his jaw upward, he quickly pushed a little on the knife, cutting into his foot to do so, he brought his right arm back and using forward momentum of lowering his head and upper body a bit more, he punched straight down at nose. He would follow through with the punch so that his upper body was lowered a bit, he would be a little more on level with her. He would wink at her if he had a chance to.
Following this punch, whether or not it succeeded he would have followed through trying to lower his body, he would throw a straight jab with his left hand in an attempt to push her further back onto the knife. A serious look would be replaced by a grin.
She's good, she's starting to get into this a little. I'm sure she's the one I'm looking for, someone to fight alongside me. I just have to make sure she's like me, that she agrees with the way I think. Someone else to get strong enough to change things around here... maybe it's a lost cause, but this will allow me to test her will to go on no matter the stakes. Even if it all seems pointless, even if your opponent towers over you. Even if you are going to lose the fight, you need to have the strength and determination to make a stand. And when the dust settles, at least you will have stood up for something......

Her punches connected, and she felt a thrill of triumph flow through her. She really had a chance here. She wanted to show him though, that she was good at what she did, that she was someone worthy of respect. That she could win. Since she had arrived at this school, she hadn't yet won a fight. This one, was hers. She could feel it. Her body was flowing, every movement was perfect. She could do this. This fight was hers. She smiled, the excitement building further.
She saw him wink. Very brief, but enough to flare up her resolve to follow through with this. She had a plan. He brought his right arm back, using his body's momentum to fuel his punch. He aimed his fist straight down at her, aiming for her face. Her two hands shot out, grabbing onto his forearm. She pulled him to her, using his own momentum against him. There was no way he could pull out of this one with the strength he had put into it.
Her body twisted to the left, her foot turning to move with her body, the knife slicing into her foot as she tried to keep it on the knife. She held his forearm, throwing him downwards. Her shoulder, with her body twisting, met with his chest to further help throw him downwards.
She pushed at his body with her shoulder, pulling his arm towards her, turning him onto his back as he fell. And now that she was above him, she moved from pulling with her arms, to pushing him, dropping him onto the ground on his back.
Game Over. She smiled down at him.

When she grabbed his forearm and attempted to flip him he knew what to do. He had to give out quickly, end her momentum, and it would hurt, but it would work and still follow the rules. After all, legs can touch ground. So as she turned, and he was pushing his momentum straight down rather then straight forward, he was able to collapse onto his right knee, it would injure his shoulder to do so considering she had his arm gripped and turned, but undoubtedly his weight pulling down like that would cause her to bend backwards a little, finding herself unable to throw him.
Matrim's foot was still against his knife, so he was able to attack. With both her hands grabbing his right forearm, she would be momentarily preoccupied most likely, so with his foot against the knife still he would shoot his left fist into the back of her right knee cap in an attempt to get her to drop, this would hopefully cause her to fall back with the momentum of him pulling back on her, keeping her from tossing him forward.

K.O.! Sara: Win +6xp Matrim: Lose +3xp -The losing party's post is nonsensical, note the winning party pulling the losing party toward her, and her twirl, along with her attempts to throw him. These actions would remove his foot from the designated zone that allows him to attack (the knife). He counterattacked in his post. The losing party rejected the opportunity to request to amend his post by immediately describing his post and stating his reasoning (when it wasn't asked for) instead of asking if it was possible to change the post and make an amendment. Had the player asked, efforts would have been made to correct the erroneous post above. Thank you.-
