So there she was, chillin in her apartment, moving her hour plants out onto the balcony; they could surely use the day light and a good watering. Watering can in hand, the brunette wandered around the porch, tipping the can and allowing water to spill out into the plant's pots; watering the plants one by one. A smile on her face, plants were wonderful friends; they didn't leave for lame reasons! Or leave at all. She turned to hear the sound of he over beeping! The casserole she had been cooking was ready to be put in the oven! Perfect, it was so lovely! but, you know with Addie, not all god things keep for long! But sometimes, when you get hit with horrible, something rebounds and you get awesomeness once more? Or so she thought at least.
Walking across the apartment to the tiny little kitchen, Addie picked up the casserole dish and quickly pulled open the oven door; sliding the dish onto the middle rack. "Perhaps it'll be ready in a half an hour.." The brunette said to herself as sh looked around at the empty apartment, it was too quiet. How could she solve the boredom? Kill the quiet? What as the answer? A roommate? That would probably be cost efficient! Especially since Addie really didn't use the other room, so why not get someone to move in? But who?
Sighing a little, the girl headed back to the balcony to check on the plants. They seemed happy, leaning on the hand rail, Addie looked out at the people on the pavement; she was only on the third floor with a fire escape to her right. Once again, the girl heaved a heavy sigh and thought once more about how many people she knew.. Matrim. Then some others that briefly appeared in her life for an hour or so, only to disappear and never be heard of again. She was in a slump of negative thinking, surely there'd be something to change that! Shifting a little the girl looked over once gain at the people on the streets. noticing one familiar blond guy.
"Oh my god.." The girl mumbled to herself as she looked at him once again, this time fully realizing who the guy was. "YOU!!" The girl shouted as she waved frantically, hoping the guy would see her. Not really caring that everyone else on the street thought she was crazy; probably. Addie wore a bright smile on her face as she frantically danced about in the oddest fashion, trying to make sure she gets his attention. "Hiii!"
The fact she was making a scene only caused Addie to laugh more, after all the looks on the faces of the pedestrians was priceless; her mood seemed to once again spike. A familiar face was really all it took.
"Quiet up there you!"A man shouted as he looked up at the girl on the balcony.
"Shove it old man! I can do what I want!" The brunette shouted back, bursting into laughed as she found the whole thing silly. Her blue gaze followed the complainer as he hurried on his way, probably rather annoyed by it all. But that didn't matter to her at all.

Riley yawned widely, as he walked down the sidewalk, his hands in his pockets. After coming out of a convenience store with a drink a bird could've taken a bath in, he had gone to a Japanese restaurant, and was now eating food he had bought for lunch. Picking up a piece of sushi with chopsticks, he ate the entire piece in two bites, as he looked out of the window that the table he was sitting at was beside. He ate some pieces of a California roll that he had bought along with some teriyaki chicken, as sunshine shined down on his face through the window pane he was sitting beside. Finishing the last of his sushi, Riley pushed the plate it had been on off to the side as he then began eating the small teriyaki chicken he had bought.
As he ate, he heard the sound of people telling their orders to the waitresses, before finishing the last of his teriyaki chicken. He then pushed his chair back, and walked out of the restaurant, and crossed the street, and walked down the sidewalk, his hands in his blue jeans pockets that he had worn along with a black sleeveless t-shirt and black hoodie, he walked pass an apartment building, and then heard a voice shout out as he walked past. "YOU!!" Riley stopped and looked around, one eyebrow raised, but saw no one, he shrugged his shoulders, and was about to continue walking, when he saw someone standing on a balcony located on the apartment beside him, whoever it was, was frantically waving and dancing like a lunatic. Riley just kind of stared blankly at the person, wondering who it was they were trying to catch the attention of, he took a closer look, and nearly had a heart attack when he recognized who it was. No way...you're kidding me... "Addie!?" Riley cried out, a look of disbelief on his face, as he stared at Addie dancing, as did about every other pedestrian on the sidewalk.
"Hiii!" "Err, hey..." Riley waved back, albeit, his was a bit uncertain, mainly because he couldn't believe Addie was here. First Matrim, then Reira, and now Addie? Who's next, Mischa? "Quiet up there you!" Riley heard a man on the balcony below Addie's shout up to her, as Riley stared blankly, man, talk about unexpected...again. "Shove it old man! I can do what I want!" Riley chuckled quietly at this, yup, that was Addie all right, as he saw her burst into laughter. "Hey Addie! Which room is yours? I'm coming up to visit!" Riley shouted up to her, a grin on his face.

[[OOC: Since this thread took place before the coma of 259, I'm just going to move the date a head to current time. Riley's reappearance. Since we thought it would be easier to continue with
It was wonderful to see someone familiar! There was a bright smile on her face as she looked down at the young familiar blonde. It had been way too long since they had last seen each other, she didn't forget him. It was Riley. "Apartment Fifteen! Ill see you in a few moments!" The brunette laughed as she headed into the apartment, pausing for a moment to watch his blonde hair disappear. Running across the living room, Addie would unlock the door. Wandering back over to Dist, he seemed to want freedom from his tank. Reaching in, Addie would lift the large snake from his habitat and allow him to make himself comfortable on her shoulders.
When Riley walked in, Addie would rush him! Throwing her arms over his shoulders and hugging him tightly, not worrying about Dist; since he was chill. He'd probably get some inspection time, his forked tongue touching Riley's cheek, staring at him intently. Yes, Dist was greeting the stranger in his territory. His eyes seemed to say: one wrong move bitch, I'll eat chu.
"Riley, I haven't seen you in so long!!!" She spoke in a happy voice, she was possibly a way different person since last they met. Addie had changed drastically since her time in Alaska, she wasn't the same anymore. Although, she was still working on becoming a better person, the girl was working on not missing out on anything. After having no one for so long, she could only hope to live her life with friends. Being alone would not work anymore, she had friends; they mattered the most.
"Where have you been? How have you been? It's been too long! Have you been well?" She had so many questions to ask the young man, there was a lingering worry about him. Riley had been the first person to be nice to her, she could never forget such a person. Addie was a little hyper, she had gotten a burst of energy from seeing an old friend and from the fact he was visiting her. Although, she was trying to hold back the energy, she couldn't scare him.
"How about, we sit down! Would you like a drink?" The brunette questioned with a smile as she gestured to the couch and chair that took up space in the living room. She was still recovering from from various fights, but she was still good to walk around, it hurt..LIKE THAT WOULD STOP HER FROM HAVING FUN! It was nice to see him again, it has been way too long.

"Got it!" He called back, as he walked towards the apartment entrance and pulled the door open, before heading into the building. After taking the elevator up to the floor she lived on, he walked down the hallway, looking around at the numbers tacked up on each door, before finding Addie's apartment door, number 15. The moment Riley walked in, he immediately found his vision obscured by brunette hair. Addie had thrown herself on to him in a hug that nearly knocked him flat while the large snake wrapped on her shoulders flicked his tongue in and out and against Riley's cheek, as if it was telling him, "I see youz Ghost boy!" "Oomph! It's nice to see you too Addie..." Riley replied, albeit a tad muffled, since Addie had practically thrown herself onto him, as he hugged her back, so much so, he lifted her off the ground a bit, that was how strong Riley had grown over the last couple years. But that was nothing compared to Addie. She had changed! And when he said that, he meant that in a good way. She sounded a lot more cheerful, which was surprising, the first time he had met her, she had been well, to say the least, cynical at best.
"Whoa whoa, one question at a time!" Riley laughed, he didn't mind her burst of energy, in fact, it was actually funny to watch. "Just a glass of water is fine." He replied, as he took a seat in the chair she had gestured to, letting her have the couch since... she did have a giant snake on her shoulders and all. "After the earthquake had hit Long Beach, I went to San Francisco, but didn't stay for very long. After, I moved around through various cities, and ended back up here, in Long Beach. I've been alright, I've been exploring Long Beach, reacquainting myself with the city and all that. I've been well, no hits on the noggin from Matrim like the last time I came to Long Beach." He laughed, though his laugh had a hollow ring to it. The years he had been traveling had done one thing, that's for sure. The love he had had for Reira, had completely abated. He still cared for her as a friend, but nothing more. "How about you? How have you been? It has been a while."

HOLY GOODNESS!
x_____o
Riley had gotten much stronger, him lifting her was proof of it, as nice as it was...DAMN DID IT EVER HURT! Her back had yet to recover and was still covered in stitches; the door had done quite the number on her. Regardless, she'd smile through the pain, there wasn't much else to be said about it; in fear of hurting Riley's feelings of course. It was so good to see him again, so good to know he was well.
Water!
Making her way into the little kitchen, Addie would get her dear friend a cold glass of water from the fridge. Yes, not tap water, she was weird about that. Upon reentering the living room, there was a smile on her face as she looked upon the blonde on the arm chair. Setting the glass down on the table in front of him, she'd lower herself slowly onto the couch, not wishing to hurt her back or anything any more.
"Moving around!? Sounds exciting! What have you seen? Anything super awesome?!" The brunette questioned with almost starry eyes, travelling was a passion. One she wished to one day continue. She longed for stories of other's adventures and to know one day, she possibly could see it too.
"As for Matrim, he might have his hands full with his family...school...and being the school captain! ha ha ha, again!" There was happiness in her voice, even if she noticed the unhappy tone in Riley's laugh; the girl only wished to make him happier.. Some how, wishing to joke about it. Since it was the only thing she could do.
"Me?"
She paused and thought for a moment... Since they last met....In Alaska.
"I was granted freedom form Point Hope, good behavior and all... I moved to Long Beach and I guess I have just been working and going to school. I mean, I need to pay for housing some how." The statement was followed by laughter, laughter to mask her injuries and what she had added to her life. Trouble... Violence... and the lust to become strong. she wanted to protect people.
There was a motherly aura around Addie as she sat there smiling at Riley, this maternal instinct to protect those around her seemed to be the source for her drive. Mostly because they were younger then she was, someone needed to look out for them; no matter how strong they were... No matter what horrors they had faced. Someone always needs to be there to watch'em like a hawk. Perhaps she was thinking into things a little too much, maybe she was just a strange one. "It's so good to see you again Riley! You'll be staying in Long Beach, right? Not going to wander off and haunt a house, are ya?"
Of course, she couldn't help but joke about it; whether or not if it was a sensitive topic for him. Addie couldn't help it. " It's so nice to see you again, our meetings are far too spaced out, I mean...Once per school. What's with that? You better stick around, ya hear?" Chuckling again, the brunette looked upon the face of the Ghost boy.
Remembering the day they had met, the day he spooked the girls away from her. The talking through paper, how jealous she was of the other girl, always. It was silly the way she acted. Yet at the same time, it just showed how much she had changed since those days. The days without a smile, without people around. The lonely time spent without people to care about, with a void in her heart. It was slowly filling with people, those she wished to protect.
"So, what brought you back?"

Riley nearly dropped Addie in surprise, simply because he was just as surprised as her that he was able to lift her up. He was pretty sure he hadn't be lifting weights, and honestly, Riley didn't look strong. He just looked tall and lanky, and had no visible muscles to speak of. He quickly placed Addie down, in fear that he might've hurt her. After all, he really didn't know his own strength. He peered around her apartment curiously as he took a seat, and gratefully took the glass of water that she placed down on the table in front of him, as he drank from it, he had been parched, noticing Addie slowly lower herself down onto the couch. He frowned slightly, surely his hug didn't injure her, after all, he had tried to hold back his strength, albeit unwittingly lifting her up, given that she had practically thrown herself onto him. The only plausible reason he could think of was maybe she had injured herself before or something. That, or it was due to the giant snake she was carrying around on her shoulders.
"Well, I went to New York City and saw the Statue of Liberty, as well as the Brooklyn Bridge. I didn't really spend a lot of time sightseeing, I was busy doing something else, though when I could spare the time, I looked around the cities I went to." Riley laughed, seeing the starry look in Addie's eyes, it was pretty obvious she loved to travel, then again, who didn't? But Riley would pass on the great Northern area of the world, thank you very much. Once was enough for him. "School Captain again huh? How many schools has he conquered now?" Riley sighed in mock exasperation, as he grinned at Addie. He didn't like Matrim, that much was obvious. They had little in common, and Riley rather keep it that way. But that was all in the past. "Well that's good. I'm glad to hear they released you from the frozen wasteland." Riley smiled at her, his hands in the pockets of his white hoodie. Unlike her, he had to privilege of his grandfather paying for his lodgings. The poor guy had been overwhelmed to the point of tears when he discovered his only grandson was still alive.
Riley could feel the motherly aura surrounding Addie, and truth be told, he didn't mind it. His own mother having disappeared when he was 13, Riley missed out on a mother figure in his teenage years, especially since he died two years later, and only recently was made into a real person. Even though he looked 18, in actuality, he was the same age as Addie. He only looked younger due to time having stopped for him before he came to St. Paragon's. "It's good to see you too Addie. Don't worry, I'll be sticking around in Long Beach this time, since my grandfather bought me an apartment after all." At the haunting a house joke, Riley couldn't help but chuckle, as he grinned at her. "Nah, no haunting this time. I don't have my ghost powers anymore after all." Which was true. Riley had lost his Qi and ghost powers. He couldn't turn invisible even if he wanted to. "Heh, alright, alright, I'll stick around this time. I promise." Hard to believe when they first met, he had to resort to communicating using a pen and paper. Now here he was, talking to her. And nothing had changed.
He was still her friend, and he would protect her, and get stronger, so he could continue protecting her. "... I heard that 42 didn't pass the evaluation, so all the students sent there were sent back to 259. I figured those I met from long ago would be there, so I made my way back. I guess my hunch was correct." That wasn't the reason. In actuality, Riley came back because he heard his mom had been seen here. He was chasing after her, to get answers. He had questions that had yet to be answered, and was desperate to know. "Must be rough, to have to pay rent. If you ever want, you could live in the apartment suite I'm staying at. I have the top floor and second top floor rooms to myself, but I have so much room, I don't know what to do with it. And it's already paid for, so you wouldn't have to pay the rent, just keep it clean I suppose."
