"... It has been a while... Gabriel." Alex replied, as his gaze shifted over to Mitsuki, observing him as he took up his stance, before returning back to Gabriel, as he closed his eyes. Things had changed, but Alex was never one to dwell on the past. You can't go forward if you keep looking back. With all the introductions over and done with, the real fight was about to begin. With his eyes closed, as Alex breathed and focused, he did not see the charming smile Gabriel flashed at Mitsuki, and even if he did, either way, he wouldn't care. He was here for one reason, and one reason only: To get the title of School Captain. Time passed away in the silence, neither fighter making a move... until now. Alex's eyes flew open, as he darted forward, his arms held behind him.
If one looked closely at Alex's eyes, they would see how fierce and determined his expression was, his eyes burning with the fury of fire. He truly was determined to get the title. As he closed the distance between him, Mitsuki, and Gabriel, it was still rather unclear which one he was aiming to fight. But one thing was for sure: Alex was honorable, and he would never team up against someone, even if it was to get the title of School Captain. He wanted to earn the title, and even if he didn't get the title, he would still give this fight everything he had. The moment he was close enough to either one, he dropped down, and with both his hands firmly planted on the ground, he quickly pivoted on his right foot, his left leg out, as he aimed a swift kick at whoever was closest, making use of his powerful legs.

It is true that Mitsuki was good when it came to defending herself, but that was only because she was testing Gabriel's offensive attacking style. She noticed that there were times he left himself wide open when Mitsuki switched positions, making her feel as if he still had a few ways to go when it came to close quarters combat. That, and he was also not very creative. Rather than countering her kick which left her torso wide open, he opted to ducking and attempting to spin Mitsuki around, which failed. Electricity wasn't even her Qi - it was Leon's, but they didn't know that, did they? They only believed she had Leon's Qi, which made Mitsuki smile all the more. She wished she had stored Hades' Qi, back when the 'gods' came to the school, but crap happened and she lost it, and ended up copying Unfettered's instead. She never used Unfettered's Qi before, other than making the rose. But the more she thought about it, the more she realized how she didn't want his Qi. Maybe it was because she was once his "master" - or even a friend, at one point. What they were now, she didn't know. Enemies, maybe rivals now. Maybe she would bring it up later, for experimentation. Anyway, Mitsuki just happened to be closest to Ryuu, and so when he rushed in for fancy looking kick, Mitsuki was highly disappointed. To get onto the ground takes time. To pick up your legs takes time. By the time he swung his legs over, Mitsuki could simply take one step back, and all that would have happened was that Ryuu wasted his energy. Or looked like a BBOY, which was cool when you're dancing, but.... She didn't take a step back. She barely even blocked the attack. She just pulled up her arms and let his kick hit her. It did some damage, but she'll survive; she's a tough cookie, you know? But as soon as his legs made contact with her arms, she grabbed it, and yanked him backwards. Mitsuki was also strong as hell. She could probably beat a butt load of guys in arm wrestling, kay? So anyway, she yanked him backwards, which would inevitably make him lose balance on his hands, dragging him not even a foot away before letting go. "Don't think fancy. That won't get you anywhere," she said, taking note that Gabriel was still near.

Fortuantly to avoid the one-sidedness of any battle Gabriel stood alongside waiting for his turn which the two which had known him must be taking note of. Gabriel Seran wasn't the type to fight in the least bit honorably if there was indeed something he wanted. But then again they had never truly gotten to know him, much like any other member from that school. Honor and Chivilry only went so far but it was all a means to an end. You could preach all you wanted about being honorable and commending to duty but they all faltered as the end game came in mind. Gabriel however was steadfast never holding true to one duty or code, no right of passage. He was a man driven by his own passion.
"Take your time, there are no tricks up my sleeve..." Gabriel's eyes flickered swiftly to the crowd catching another familiar face but never mentioning it or acknowledging his pressence, "Not this time..." He whispered with a dark sneer.
So apparently David had come to join them. It didn't surprise him, the boy seemed to jump at the prospect of a new frontier, though who could blame him Moral Crest was left to the wolves soon as the events at Groud Zero had taken place, but in a way that was Gabriel's own fault for putting his faith in people. He scoffed lightly, foolish him.
Though he lied again, Gabriel did have a little trick up his sleeve, a strategy more like it. Appearances meant everything and though Ryuu was tough Gabriel knew from the first move that he could not hold his own very long against Mitsuki it would be only a while till Gabriel would have his turn. And this time she'd be tired lest he gave in sooner.

Davids eyes slid across the top of the crowd, scanning for the presence of any other individual of note. His gaze caught on two people- not because they really stood out, but because one happened to be pointing in his direction. He frowned. Why was Asiv here? He said he would let the school run itself. Regardless, David obviously wasnt doing something right. Either he seriously stood out, or these people just knew how to pick him out. Regardless, David knew his facade wouldnt last long, and that continuing in his disguise would prove practically useless. Still, he wouldnt step forward, but he would remove his hood, at the very least allowing himself to be seen and acknowledged openly. He noticed the young Seran watching him as he pulled back his hood, and he smiled wryly, as if to say "Yeah, you caught me. Want a gold star?" A face snapped over, staring at him.
The kid leaned over to the boy next to him, and soon everyone who knew of him were pointing his way, whispering about his many holdings on the title they were currently fighting for and the strength they believed him to have. He didnt care, he wasnt fighting for any title. He lowered his inner energy, making sure that his body put off as little of himself as possible. Of course, his powers continued to build, but a little more secretively. He didnt trust anyone here, and knowing that some goggle wearing freak could pick him out of a crowd not five minutes after he began charging it was creepy. Perhaps that kids Qi was to sense other peoples Qi. Like his activating it triggered the boys knowledge. Whether that was true or False David was unsure, but he felt that perhaps he had been a little too careless. He shrugged internally.Who Cares? What was now going to change because his presence was known?
Nothing.
They would still fight for the title, and David would still watch.
Undetered by their knowing him, David brought his Qi back out, not activating it but allowing the full strength of its ability to be known.
He resumed concentrating on the fight.
Now, as they began this battle, David almost laughed at what Gabriel was doing. David didnt find it dishonorable or dirty- he thought it was a good strategy. Let the other two get weaker while he rested, then when Mitsuki or Ryuu won they would be far too tired to even put up any real competition for him. It was a move he himself would pull.
He folded his arms and watched, now even more interested in the outcome.

Like so many others, Mitsuki, too, had noticed David Blaze in the crowd. Eyes narrowed at the sight of him, feeling a small tremor going through her body. His Qi was activated, no doubt, and she could have copied it - but now was not the best time to do so.
Too bad for Gabriel that his plan sucked. No offense, but you think Mitsuki wouldn't catch on? She was school captain at 259 for three fcukin' years. He would have been better off being silent, because then there was the possibility that Mitsuki would just ignore Gabriel and focus on Ryuu, yet at the same time managing her stamina the best she could so that she could fight one other person afterward. But the thing is, he opened his mouth, and that only confirmed what he was planning to do.
"Take your time, there are no tricks up my sleeve..."
Oh really?
Without much of a warning, she went all out towards Gabriel. Her speed, which she noticed matched his equally, was held back just a bit. She needn't worry about Ryuu, only because he would be picking himself up from the ground.
Up until now, Mitsuki had been showing them nothing but defensive tactics. Like said before, it was all to see how Gabriel worked when it came to offensive attacks. Now we see how he'll do when he's on the defensive. Granted, Mitsuki preferred to be put into a defensive position for personal reasons, but it never stopped her from kicking butt.
So what did she do? Very simple.
She sent a side kick with her right foot, straight at his chest.

Yes, just like everyone else, Alex too had noticed David in the crowd, he however, unlike the others, deliberately chose to ignore David, instead focusing on the fight in front of him. Although his move was, fancy in the general sense, making him look more like a BBOY more than anything else, he was not confident when he saw Mitsuki block his strike, taking the damage, instead of simply stepping back to avoid it. His eyes widened in mild surprise as he felt her grip his leg, before yanking him forward, sending him off balance, but what surprised him even more, was the fact she released his leg. He tumbled forward, though quickly regained his balance, as he rose to his feet, staring at Mitsuki, not in anger, but in mild interest, taking her advice to heart. This fight was one of those fights, where keeping to the basics, was your best bet. Alex's eyes shifted over to Gabriel as he spoke, before flickering back to Mitsuki.
Now, just because Alex was honorable, did not mean he was stupid. He knew what Gabriel was doing, and let's face it, if he was in the same position, he would do the same thing. But Gabriel made one mistake, one that would affect him dearly. He went and opened his mouth, when he shouldn't have. Picking himself up, and recovering from his almost fall, Alex saw Mitsuki surge forward, but not at him, at Gabriel. Alex had honor, and granted, he disliked the notion of one of them beating the other, and he ending up facing the winner, when he was rested up, and his opponent worn out from the previous fight, but given the opportunity, Alex would take it. Standing off to the side, his arms by his side, ready to react at any given moment, Alex watched and waited, to see who would come out on top in this confrontation, and who he'd end up having to face off against.

The sneer lasted a long while before the motions shifted in his peripheral vision, the fast dancing flow of Mitsuki and Ryuu fell short and ended sooner than expected. Gabriel felt a bit dissapointed in Ryuu, the boy usually had a bit more flare than that but if he wanted to sit back an relax he wouldn't press the situation though he wouldn't be winning a pillar title with that thought in mind one had to be always on the advancement and while Gabriel had implied his tactic that short while he had a few more plans in mind. All of which would come into play soon enough. It was an old habit of his, never go into a battle unless you know you can't lose.
Gabriel's body was quarter-turned when Mitsuki aimed her strike, with the same graceful flow Gabriel brought his right arm up at his side and blocked it easily enough. The speed wasn't as fast as she'd been in the defense, he could assume it was a ploy or the fact that there was to be another bout of close-quarter damage to be thrown about. His arm felt the sudden blow of force behind the kick however, it was something he'd gotten used to but nonetheless he couldn't evade pain. A small grin emerged.
With a quick shift of his weight Gabriel came to a crouch still blocking from Mitsuki's kick and bending into a swift uppercut into her gut. If aimed correctly it may have the opportunity to knock the wind out of her. After the strike he'd take a jump back and away from the possibility of a return blow.
"Mitsuki Park I have one question..." He started, dropping his pose and holding up a hand suddenly, "What does it mean to be good?"
Gabriel laid his words carefully in that cool velvet voice. With Ryuu out of the way he didn't see himself suffuring a blow and it would seem as though David was out of the picture for the time being. But then again everything was too close here a landmine ready to be set off. Just the way he was used to.

And Gabriel was right. Mitsuki did have a follow up attack; one that would make it difficult - if not impossible - for him to uppercut her gut. The second her foot made contact with something solid, she pushed up with her left foot and would kick the side of his head with said foot. And thing is, her right foot - the one she originally kicked with - would retract from his arm faster than you can blink, and kick a second time. They were like jabs, only more painful because the boots she was wearing? Yeah, apparently they send a vibration whenever she kicks something. Pretty cool, huh?
Anyway, she was kind of unsettled about how this entire fight was turning out. It seemed as if it was a Mitsuki vs. Ryuu and a Mitsuki vs. Gabriel at the same time, rather than it being Mitsuki vs. Ryuu vs. Gabriel. Didn't that just suck major balls? I mean, if she were in Ryuu's position right now, she'd cut in through the fight. Honorable? Tch. No, Mitsuki would just show them that she could take on both their asses, separately. It's not like she didn't know how to preserve her energy.
If he still aimed for that uppercut to her gut....well, he wouldn't be able to if he were crouching, only because her back was facing the ground. Granted, both her legs were now elevated in midair, but she still had her hands. And if used correctly, the hands can do far more damage than the legs.
So they want to play the game as a 1v1, huh?
Fine.
Then Gabriel would be the first to go.

This time he caught the sight of her attack with his peripheral vision falling short of his own offensive strike. Priorities had to be maintained and if his head was knocked up he wouldn't be able to keep his normal calm persona Gabriel refused to let himself fall into the darker light once again. But as fate has it, life moves through cycles. His right arm retracted from its jab though not as quickly as had been expected. Having been caught off guard Gabriel only defelected what would be a percentage of the strike taking a hearty blow to the forearm. The sudden impulse of the vibrations coursing through his arm felt strange, nothing like pain but more like numbness.
Gabriel fell back on his heels taking up a distance from Mitsuki again. The shock in his eyes disipated as the numb feeling was to fade. It was nothing like pain that you could describe it was like a coldness you could not control. Control meant everything. Though from experience things had their way of falling from control's grasps.
"Mitsuki Park answer me..." Gabriel beckoned this time his facade was slightly changed from a calmness, slightly uncaring to a focused passionate look.
He needed the answer to be solved. Then again if she didn't live up to his expectations he gauged her strength and knew exactly how hard he'd have to improve before claiming it for himself. Just as before? No, this time he'd have to succeed, no waiting on half promises and unloyal companions. He'd do the work on his own.

"Mits-"
She would not give him the time to even speak, because she rushed forward to assault Gabriel, left arm pulling forward slightly, almost in an unnoticeable manner to pull through an upper cut straight at his jaw, while her right hand stayed idly at her side.

(ooc: thats irritatingly short...)
Gabriel didn't realize she'd rush forward in such a manner, in fact he'd suspected talk would be easier. That drew two conclusions. 1) She was either smart enough to know not to get in a dispute of words with Gabriel knowing that however she answered could possibly prove fatal, or 2) been a brute all along. The answer would baffle Gabriel for the time being.
His body leaned into the punch riding the fist all the way from his torso to the chin. The effects sending him effectively out of reach though inevitably comming down to a crouched position balancing on his knees and a single forearm providing balance on his upper body. His breath wore on heaving slightly as he caught a breath. He knew his strength and knew hers cetainly by this point. A continued fight would prove pointless, he could press on or continue the battel from another angle, one with more leaverage. Though nonetheless he'd complete his goal. most thought his goal was purely for the title, they were naive, the title merely provided benefits. His goal was far more extroveted than selfish morals.
For now Mitsuki would win, and her victory acknowledged. Gabriel was interested to see if another would come forward perhaps one so foolheardy.
Coming to full height Gabriel made a quick bow, "Excellent fight Mitsuki, I hope we will meet again soon..." Gabriel made a quick smile a wink and he turned off into the crowd with little effort.

Actually, Mitsuki chose choice C. The one that wasn't mentioned, because it's much more complex than just Mitsuki being less witty than Gabriel or simply being a brute. The thing is, it couldn't be choice A because she hardly even knows the boy, and has only seen him once. It was not a great first impression - if anything, he was more of a scrawny freshman when she first met him, innocent to the battles of the school. Choice B is quite possible - Mitsuki is known for fighting, but she is also known to be rather compassionate - well, after her opponent's unconscious, at least. Anyway, the reason she chose not to wait for him to talk is because it would catch him off guard, making her a brute. She had assumed, however, if his words were important, then he would speak after the fight was over. Instead, he gave up.
"Excellent fight Mitsuki, I hope we will meet again soon..."
"Heh... Quitting so soon?" she uttered under her breath, looking towards Ryuu.
If he attacked her, then so be it. If it was a stand off, Mitsuki would walk away. She had better things to do than stare at boys.

Alex calmly observed the exchange of words between Mitsuki and Gabriel, actually, more like Gabriel talked, and Mitsuki just answered with her actions. Though when Gabriel received no answer the first time, and spoke a second time, he was cut off almost immediately, as he saw Mitsuki rush forward and launch an uppercut straight at Gabriel's jaw, who leaned into the punch, riding it out, sending him out of reach though at the same, sending him into a crouched position, making him balance on his knees. His arms folded across his chest, Alex showed no signs of emotion as Gabriel bowed, and left, just like that. Alex knew Gabriel had other things in his mind, the only reason he would ever go after the title in the first place, was to obtain something, something bigger. His eyes shifted back to Mitsuki, who looked towards him.
So it was down to the two of them. Alex slowly unfolded his arms, as he curled and uncurled his fingers, then rolled his both his shoulders. He had better things to do with his time than have a stand off. "Are you ready?" He asked Mitsuki and went into his fighting stance, his feet spread apart shoulder-length, his right foot out in front, his body down low, keeping his centre of balance relatively well. No leg sweeps here. He placed his right hand out, his left hand on level with his shoulder, near his face. "Let's go." He said, a determined look in his eyes, as he began to circle her, watching her, with each revolution, he moved closer and closer, but in mid-revolution, he suddenly lashed out with a front heel kick. Time was of the essence...

OOC: ...Ryuu = Kazu? o___0
"Are you ready?"
When one asks if another is ready, it usually means that the person himself is also ready. And so when that question was asked, Mitsuki bolted forward without letting him finish whatever words were about to come next. Mind you, Mitsuki isn't the type of person to attack people off guard when it comes to claiming her title, but this boy pulled up a stance, and so the assumption of him not being ready was voided. She rushed up to him, right arm sweeping - wrist facing up, hands in a blade - to jab him in the lower gut, while her left hand raised up near her right shoulder.
Time was of the essence...

Well wasn't this dandy. Just as Mitsuki had done to Gabriel before, she was doing the same to him, as he saw her bolt forward, not waiting for him to finish speaking, which was fine with him, he had seen her do it once, so even though it was unexpected, he half anticipated her rushing forward. Just as he launched his front heel kick, he saw her sweep her right arm, her wrist facing upwards, hand in a blade, and so he adjusted his kick, now in a rolling kick, as he blocked her strike, his leg connecting with her arm, though it wasn't without repercussions, he felt the blow reverberate through his leg. He didn't forget about her left hand though, as immediately after, keeping his leg straight or relatively straight as his leg rose, he brought his leg down swiftly with the heel pointed downward, attempting to strike Mitsuki on the shoulder.
His hands kept close to his body, in case he needed to defend himself, which he had no doubt he would need to, whether the strike connected or not, Alex would bring his leg down, or if Mitsuki caught his leg and attempted to send him off-balance, he would lean back, so if she did send him flying, instead of falling backwards, he would end up in a backwards handstand, and once his feet touched the ground, he would go back into his stance, ready to continue. There was nothing to lose, and everything to gain for Alex...
