David took a deep breath. So much happens so fast. One moment Gabriel is a viable contender for the title of School Captain, the next he is walking away, leaving the young male to fight against the seasoned vet. He wondered, if Mitsuki won, if she would be different. If she would hold the same attitude of stale work ethic. He didnt think he could stand that again- if she became Captain, she was going to have to prove herself or step down. People had moved away from him slightly, his Qi being fully charged and ready to activate, the air thick around him. He ignored them, eyes on the two contestants in the middle, the crowd growing larger by the minute.
He studied Ryuu, wondering if the boy had it in him to truly succeed. He didnt think so- the way he held himself and moved seemed slow and sluggish when compared against Mitsuki. Still, the boy had great potential, and would grow to be an exceptional fighter someday, this he knew.
Another deep breath.
Did they have pillars in mind? If so, who in this rabble of students would it be? Surely not Gabe, after he just walked away without even trying to continue down a path he asked for. Having someone flake off your duty just wasnt what David saw as Pillar material.
Still, he watched, and waited, the air growing warmer with the sun, his patience wearing thinner by the second.

You know, it's not that Mitsuki enjoyed cutting people off or anything; it's just the fact that now was not the time nor place to waste time on words. He wanted the title that Mitsuki claimed, that's why he was in the position he's at right now. If you want to fight, then fight, and don't ask the person you're fighting if he or she is ready. Mitsuki was a woman of little words. There wasn't really much to describe what she was feeling or thinking - she's in a fight because of the title, which Mitsuki believes is rightfully hers. Because it belongs to her - in Mitsuki's mindset, anyway - she'll defend the title by bringing anyone down. Her emotions do not get the best of her when in combat - her emotions, you could say, don't exist.
She saw his leg change direction and Mitsuki, too, changed the shape of her hand into one that would cause more damage against his leg. A fist. His leg came crashing onto her shoulder, which she accepted only because she had something in mind with his leg. She could have easily bolt forward and tackle him, but she figured what she was about to do would be much more amusing. She grabbed a hold of his leg, keeping a vice grip on him as she took several steps backwards, dragging him along. Backwards handstand? Not likely with Mitsuki pulling him against the cement. And, quite frighteningly, she started to pick up speed.

Alex's eyes flared as he saw Mitsuki's hand change from the shape of a blade, into a fist. Smart. It would cause more damage to his leg... If it were not for the fact Alex's legs were the most muscular part of his body and thus, the toughest as well. His leg crashed into Mitsuki's shoulder, but far from feeling confident, Alex felt uneasy and slightly suspicious. Mitsuki was stronger and faster than he was, she could've easily evaded or even blocked his kick, so why did she take it? It had worked well. Almost too well... Something was up. And Alex was right. He saw her grab hold of his leg, and keeping it in a vice grip, began to take a few steps backwards, literally dragging Alex along for the ride. He was forced to hop along like a bunny, his arms out to keep himself balanced as he saw Mitsuki began to pick up speed.
His eyes had flashed briefly in surprise from the move, before returning to calm, as he did something that one wouldn't expect in such a fight. He laughed. Not merely chuckling I might add, but an actual laugh. Alex was actually having a good time in this fight, something that hardly happened. But there was no point in wasting words to convey this to Mitsuki, so once he had calmed down, he took quick hops, pulling himself closer to Mitsuki as he bent his knee, and with both her hands busy in holding onto his leg, which was starting to have the circulation cut off I might add, he launched a simple strike: A left jab to her cheek. He knew her dodging it wasn't out of the realm of possibilities, so he prepared himself for such an occurrence, his right hand kept close to his chest.

When he laughed, she picked up speed even more, and when she saw him trying to take smaller, more quick hops to get closer to her, she pretty much started running all out. She doubted that he could hop as fast as Mitsuki was dragging him, only because...well, not even Mitsuki could do that. The guy would have to be a freaking energizer bunny on fifty steroids with caffeine in his blood, y'know? So by running all out, she expected him to lose his balance and start getting dragged everywhere. And if that didn't happen, then she'd shock him with her Qi until he did. Pretty simple, neh? Mitsuki was not one for fancy attacks unless the opportunity was given, but even so, those fancy schmancy attacks had so many flaws. Easy to counter and use against the opponent.
As for his laugh, she did not find it amusing. There was only one fight - ever - when she actually had fun, and it was with Thrush. She wondered how he was doing, and what he was up to, but now was not the time for such thoughts. And besides, Mitsuki had her own goals to obtain, and it all started with taking back what first belonged to her.
The stupid title of being School Captain.

Did Alex really care that Mitsuki didn't find his laughter amusing? Not really, to be honest, he was having a good time, and that was all that mattered to him. But when he saw her begin to pick up speed as soon as he stopped chuckling and tired to hop closer to her, now it was getting serious. But instead panicking, as one might think, Alex smirked slightly. Now he was taking this fight very seriously. And when he took a fight even more seriously than before, that's when things get just a little bit scary. He could see that she was flat out running, and it was taking everything he had just to prevent himself from being dragged all over the place like a rag doll. But despite the fact his body was in overdrive just making sure he didn't fall over and dragged like a sack of potatoes, his mind was in strategy mode. The fact he was unable to move closer to Mitsuki by sheer effort alone, told him he wouldn't get through this fight by such a simple move. He had to think outside the box, which he did.
Using the momentum and speed from Mitsuki dragging him around, Kazu timed his move. Just as his knee bent to hop, he pushed off from the ball of his foot, and would send his knee flying straight for Mitsuki's stomach, all his power and speed focused into the strike, aiming to try and knock Mitsuki down to the ground. If his strike was successful, Alex would bend the knee of his other leg, the one that Mitsuki still held in her grip, to cushion the pain felt from the impact, his other knee would be cushioned by Mitsuki's body. He would then rear his arms back, and proceed to rain blows down on Mitsuki while she was still recovering from being knocked down. If his strike was not successful, and did nothing more than knock the wind out of her, he would then proceed to jerk his knee upwards, aiming to connect with her chin, while keeping his arms in front of him, to protect himself. The title may be stupid to some, but to Alex, it was something to strive for, nothing to lose, but everything to gain...

No.
If he would not fall, then she would make him fall, by (as stated in the last post) shocking him with her Qi until he did. She sent strong bolts of electricity coursing through him; there was no way his body could ignore such a shock, and, depending on how much stamina he had, he could probably be knocked out too. So his kicks would never reach her.
OOC: ...I'm not sorry for the short post. There really isn't much for me to type.

Alex was fighting had not to topple over, but even he could only keep this up for so long. He knew Mitsuki was strong, but what he wasn't expecting however, was to feel a shock of electricity run through his leg. What the hell!? She could use electricity, just like Gabriel could... Or, used to be able to. Not that he knew this fact. Her Qi had already passed through Alex's heart more than once, and at this rate, it could possibly be enough to send his heart into cardiac arrest, and possibly end up killing him. He began to feel the after effects of her Qi, as it began to take its toll on his body. He couldn't keep this up forever, and he knew it. With each passing moment as she continued to drag him around while shocking him, Alex's vision grew more and more blurred, his head dropping lower, until finally, his hair covered his eyes.
Although it appeared Alex was unconscious, he wasn't... yet at least. His eyes hidden in shadows, no one, not even Mitsuki, could see the expression on his face, or the fact his eyes had gone oddly blank, as he... smirked. "Heh... You win..." He said in a barely audible voice, as he slumped, before falling backwards, landing on the ground, letting himself be dragged around. He was out. Did he give it his all? No. He still had untapped reserves of strength, but they were, as stated, untapped, having not surfaced yet. But strength wasn't everything. And having strength meant inviting disaster to come your way. But even if that was the case, Alex fought for what he wanted, and though he lost to Mitsuki, it showed him that there was still much for him to learn.

Areon adjusted his goggles a little, and then walked off. Leaving Mr. Asiv by himself. Mr. Asiv had a very big grin on his face after watching the fight, it was a good fight against two enemies Mitsuki faught and reclaimed her title. He felt proud of her for some reason. Probably because this was his school again and he liked having power. Of course school board meetings with that fool Vaughan would still be even funnier. He could see it now.
'My School Captain can beat your School Captain.'
He chuckled a bit to himself on that thought, He'd let Mitsuki rest and recover with her new title. he'd confront her when he was completely prepaired, for someone like her it would be stupid going in without a plan.
"Congradulations."
He'd say loud enough for Mitsuki to hear from the middle of the crowed. He'd get up bow his head and then walk off in his usual manner, as if stumbling, having purpose without purpose, going in one direction while shifting his weight enough to seem like he was going in all sorts of different directions. Funny person.

She came to a stop; when he had admitted defeat, she reached down and grabbed him firmly by the upper arm, near his shoulder, hauling him up. If he was still conscious, she would help him to the infirmary; if not, she would drag him herself to the nurse's office to tend his wounds. No doubt he would end up with all sorts of uncomfortable burns on his back with the cement that rubbed against his skin - assuming his shirt flew up when she dragged him, if not then oh well. He had much potential, especially with the way he continued fighting, whereas the other boy - Ryuu - had simply given up the title. Well, 'given up' was probably not the right term for a boy like him - whatever he wanted, he got. It may have not necessarily been the title for School Captain, but he got something, and although the thought should and would have been unsettling to some, it was not for Mitsuki Park.
"Congradulations."
She acknowledged him by also nodding her head. She would walk off towards the nurses office, drop him off and that would be that. Soon, she would put her plan into motion. Soon.

David smiled as the outcome of the fight was decided. He turned, making his was through the crowd who parted for him as he left. Once outside the large circle, he would activate his Qi, and seem to disappear from sight. OOC((THIS TOOK WAY TOO LONG!!!!!! still, nice fighting, congrats suki and all that jazz ))
