Hmm... Alright. System:
I'll use Jonathan's current Intelligence and Charisma for this:
Intelligence: 32
Charisma: 25
NPC Statistic Creation:5 Charisma = 1 NPC with all base statistics initially. (5 each)
Divide Intelligence by 10. Round down. So, in this case, 3.
The NPC's base Charisma automatically gets +3 (from given intelligence) more, for creation.
NPC Statistic Increases. For 3-4 more pts of Charisma, you can add 3 pts (from given intelligence), to the NPC.
Therefore...
I have the choice to create 5 NPC's, all with 5 statistics who can get knocked out by anyone here, or I can create 1 NPC with
NPC Leveling up as you do.Now then. Obviously, we all have the choice on whether or not NPC's actually get statistics or not. If they don't, we can't let them get into combat situations, unless it only pertains to us, ourselves, or unless someone allows this.
The thing with NPC's is they would act as extensions from ourselves. Like a group of friends that we 'control', in a manner. However, depending if you are a 'Newb' or a 'regular', their statistics cannot go beyond the said, for example, 30 cap of a Newb.
...If we want to weaken them further, we can cut down the cap of NPC's down in half, so, if your cap is 30 of a Newb, your NPC has a cap of 15.
If your intelligence springs up by a certain amount, for example though... this is where even I am cautious.
The initial idea is this:
Example Statistics:
Charisma: 60
Intellignece: 60
Your intelligence went up, from 54 to 60...
So then..
NPC: Creation cost: 5 Charisma
And you've put all your Charisma into this. Meaning that (54/3=8) 8 times you could use your Charisma on this NPC..
(8*5 [your intelligence])
and it goes up to (8*6[your intelligence])...
Then, that means that the person with that NPC must 're-do' all the stats. It would help if a mandatory history of NPC statistics was made. And then, before they can use that NPC any further, they must get approval from one of the faculty, and make sure everything checks out.
...Therefore...
I'll begin by creating an example character:
Name: Alter Mann
Age: 42
Height: 6'0 Feet
Weight: 190 lbs.
Blood Type: A+
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Eye Color: Brown
Hair: Bald

NPC Statistics:-Strength: 5
-Dexterity: 5
-Constitution: 5
-Intelligence: 5+9=14
-Wisdom: 5+9=14
NPC Statistic History:-5 Charisma: 5 Pts For All Statistics. (March 31, 2007)
-18 Charisma (6 upgrades) = 32 Int / 10 = 3 rded. = 18 pts. 9 pts distributed to Wisdom. 9 pts distributed to Intelligence.
Charisma Used:23/25 Charisma
For the above, I have used 3 pts of Charisma for each 'intelligence' purchase.
Also, I have purposely nuked the NPC's, so that they seem less feasible, and are definetly less ineffective then most PC's. The amount of effort needed to create them will also deter all but the die-hard, I'm hoping.
XD It makes the NPC almost worthless...
...Alternatively, if multiple NPC's still sounds like a bad idea, I can come up with a 'single statistical' NPC.
I would like to say that.. any item that you give to your NPC... will have statistics, but the NPC cannot utilize them.
