((OoC: This is a small quest, no need to interact with other people, this counts for class exp and special rewards. Prepare for the Ultimate Exam!))
Today it was put out by the teachers of every class that there was going to be a school wide exam, manditory for all grades and all students. There was no material to study, no subjects given, this was a general exam, but every student was told this test would determine the future of man kind.
Teachers would have "EXAM DAY" written on their black boards, a huge stack of papaers on the edge of their desks and number 2 pencils sharpened and set neatly on every desk. It was a... Special number two pencil. But more on that later, now the bell was about to ring and students needed to get to their classes!

He passed through the door in usual attire, looking to Asiv for a moment before taking a seat in front of all the desks, recently after being around the school he had applied himself as the new phys Ed. teacher, and the job just seemed all to suited for him to get the children into what he considered propper shape. Why he was here now however, was merely here to make sure that none of the students would be cheating.
He didn't say anything but gave a small nod to Asiv while crossing his arms and leaning back. First day, time to make an impression, and for once... not in someones skull.

Another bland day, Gabriel was still getting himself reaquainted with his old highschool and was certainly unprepared for what the teachers had set in store for him along with the rest of this school's current population. He began a gentle stride in his all black attire, this time setting a new record for how expensive his attire was. Resting on his body were a dark shade of black slacks and a white button up shirt, also resting atop was his expensive vest, everything design made. It would set him out against the crowd as not one of the people something that was absolutly against his intentions but he'd learned all too well that to get noticed you had to sometimes spit in the face of your greatest ally. Walking in on the teachers had certainly been a different scenario unlike at moral crest he hadn't been all to well aquainted with the population so he asserted himself by appearing as a like minded individual approaching them slowly. They didn't seem all in the mood to talk so he took the address and kept moving into the seat ready for the testing. Quick and easy he'd make quick work of it all.

Arielle stepped into the classroom as she usually did every morning, dropping the wrapper to her muffin in the trash by the door as she walked by. Her mother always handed her a muffin as she left for school every morning, determined that a fed mind was a ready mind, and wanted her daughter to have the best opportunity in their new home.
Her gaze flicked up to the blackboard, where large writing had caught her attention. 'EXAM DAY' was boldly declared in white letters...what exam? Arielle pulled her schedule from her bag and flipped to today's date. It had nothing written down for it, and she was certain she would have written something down. Her shoulders shifted as she sighed, no matter, she would do her best.
Arielle took a seat in the third row of desks, setting her books down by her feet, as that was what the American teachers always called for when an exam was about to start. 'Clear your desks!' they'd say, and everyone would put their things on the floor for the duration of the test. She didn't think today would be any different.

Easy entertainment.
His breath, cold and frigid in the air, made little puffs of smoke which were for some odd reason giving him some serious issues thinking on anything else. His alarm on his watch, however, shook him from the small, strangely entertaining world of natural smoke to class. He was going to be late if he didnt leave so, taking a deep breath, he hopped off the school wall and headed for his locker. He passed by a few students, one being Gabriel, who were obviously on theyre way to the same class. He pulled his books from his broken locker (why it was broken, he didnt know0 and walked to the classroom door, passing through without mcuh ado.
He noticed one fellow who happened to not be the teacher, and he frowned. His hood was up, and he walked slowly, passing him by while making eye contact. Interesting. A sub? Not likely. He let it roll off his shoulders. He guessed he would find out later. He took a seat next to a girl in the third row, pulling off his hood and giving her a glance and a small smile. He looked up at the two in the front before looking back at her.
"Hey- any idea which ones the teacher and which is a guest?"

Mitsuki walked in and took a seat in the classroom, ignoring the words on the board. If there was an exam, then she'd take it; she wasn't the type to groan and moan about how there was no preparation for it. Pencils were already provided on the desks, from the looks of it, and Mitsuki took her seat at the back next to the windows, as always. Her bag was set neatly on the ground beside her, and she pretty much would do nothing but wait until instructions were given out - or until the tests were. She was, for the most part, anti-social and preferred to keep to herself, which seemed to work well with most teachers. So long as she didn't interrupt class time, teachers seemed to prefer students like Mitsuki. Either that, or disliked them; some of the teachers were more outgoing and enjoyed talkative students as long as they had something intelligent or funny to say.
Mitsuki wore a black wife beater with a loose white hooded beater over it, a baseball cap pulled over her head. Loose jeans and her everyday gray sneakers? She pretty much looked like your average, uncaring student that never paid attention.

Arielle looked over at the boy who sat next to her and smiled. She returned the silent greeting, noting that his demeanor was much more kind than that of the German boy. Now of the people she'd met so far, only one was really of any adversity, it was truly refreshing. Arielle feared she wouldn't make many friends here due to the fact that she was a foreigner, but that didn't seem to be the case.
"I'm not too zure...perrhaps zey are team teaching?"
Arielle shrugged, looking at the gentlemen in question. He was definitely too old to be a student, though it didn't raise too many alarms in her head. If he was a student teacher, he seemed to be a rather unfriendly one, and if he was some sort of guest, the teacher would certainly introduce him...right?
Right?

The bell would ring, and tthe class would begin now.
"Good morning class, I'll be replacing your regular teacher for this exam. Your not allowed to ask questions about the test, your not allowed to use any other writting utencil besides the one supplied, your not allowed to use your books, or cell phones with internet access, not allowed to share answers, nor are you allowed a bathroom break without an escort."
The explanation would go on about not cheating. Until finally the teacher would introduce the gentleman standing near the door.
"This is your new P.E Teacher, Mr. Ark Sigismund. He will also be helping me monitor the class for any cheaters. Now I will be passing out the exam please no talking."
Grabbing the stack of papers everyone would get one sheet. Ten questions. Though... The first task would really be getting the pencils to work. When they would go to write their names in the specified point on the exam paper it would not write. Fully sharpened perfectly capable number two pencils wont write on the specified point for the name.

Alex ran down the hallway, his jacket flying behind him, his bag bouncing off his back. He had woken up rather late, so late in fact, that his exam was almost going to start! After he washed his face, he began to brush his teeth. He then tossed his toothbrush into its container, pulled off his pajamas, and pulled on black track pants, a black t-shirt, and his black jacket, as he shoved on socks and his black Converse shoes. He then darted out of his room, and ran out the door. His feet making dull thumps against the floor as he ran, he reached the door to his classroom, and stopped, breathing hard, as he rested his hands on his knees. After catching his breath, Alex grabbed the doorknob, and twisted it, pushing the door open. He then stepped into the classroom, as his eyes flashed in mild surprise from seeing a guy standing by the door, just as the teacher was speaking, introducing the new PE teacher aka. Guy by the door it seemed, as he closed the door behind him just as the teacher grabbed the stack of papers behind him.
Oh good, a pause, now Alex can get to his seat. He walked all the way to the row of desks near the window and sat down in the middle seat, placing his bag down as he leaned back in his seat, and stretched as the papers were handed out. His legs were quite long, so they easily touched the desk legs in front of him, the front of the back legs of the desk. Wait, the front of the back legs? Alex wasn't able to do that before, but he just shrugged, he guess he grew a couple inches. Once he received his exam paper, Alex grabbed the pencil that had been laid out on the desk, and wrote his name on the specific spot on the paper... Or at least, tried to. Nothing appeared. Alex lifted his pencil up, and stared at it, one eyebrow cocked. The hell...? The pencil was fully sharpened and looked capable... yet it wrote jack-squat. "..." Alex was clearly not amused. He even shook the pencil, hoping that would make it work... yeah. Right. He stared at the pencil once more, as he scratched his head, before looking right at the graphite, and got an idea. Scrapping his fingernail against it, he made a small mound of graphite dust, before dipping his fingernail in it, and tried to write his name with his fingernail. Hey... the teach said use only the pencil provided. Wasn't that was Alex was doing? At least he was doing something... instead of staring at the damn thing.

Your not allowed to ask questions about the test, your not allowed to use any other writting utencil besides the one supplied, your not allowed to use your books, or cell phones with internet access, not allowed to share answers, nor are you allowed a bathroom break without an escort."
Arielle quirked a slender eyebrow...that seemed like a lot of, what was it called, 'hype' over just an exam. Her increased slightly as she anticipated the exam, though she took a few slow deep breaths to calm herself back down to neutral. It was a mind over matter thing, if she got all worked up before the test started, she would be doomed to do worse than her best.
Once the test was set down in front of her, Arielle picked up the provided pencil and went to write her name 'Arielle St. Pierre' clearly and legibly...? That is, if the pencil would work. Rather than a clear graphite line, there was simply a pale indent where the pencil pushed into the paper, but no actual line. What the hell?
She tried again, tracing over the indent the utensil had made...nothing.
Her mind raced, gears turning as she figured out what to do. She couldn't possibly take the test if her pencil didn't work, she examined it to see if perhaps there was a film over the graphite that prevented it from writing, nothing. Arielle sighed, lips closed tight, the air escaping through her nose. There were to be no questions about the test, but this wasn't about the test, it was about the pencil. That was okay, right?
Thus, Arielle raised her hand slowly into the air, looking to the man who had spoken.

Gabriel's attentive eyes focused upward to the director of the scene whom was establishing thebalance. They'd been organized here to take a test? A low chuckle rumbled in his throat as he whimed at what it could pertain to. Some Tier system perhaps knowing the pillar system had been brought from such foul minds it would seem only logical that they'd influence something as dark and insideous as labeling people to a specific iconoclast. Gabriel's eyes traced the room picking up on two familiar faces. Ryuu, The youth that he'd contacted with back in San Francisco. Still his eager young mind was more than likely filled with dismal dreams of a perfect future where people would join hands as one withought the inclination to struggle. And of course where would his troubles be if David Blaze wasn't there. Old rival still sculked about this school mysteriously with his own prodigal views of the world, of course he'd changed a bit in the last hours...
Gabriel focused center picking at the pencil and doodled softly without taking notice. Luckily he could write without having to observe what he was writing, a great note taking skill. 'Gabriel Seran' pencil was set aside and his attention mounted for consideration only to note that the air in the room hadn't thickened and there were no teachers randomly throwing students about the room.

David smiled at the girl.
"Hmm...maybe..."
He turned back toward Asiv and the other male, apparently an individual by the name of "Ark", and watched them both from under his hoodie. He wondered, briefly, what this exam was all about and why Asiv himself would be the one administering it. He decided he would simply have to wait and see. He glanced around quickly, noticing Mitsuki, Gabriel and Ryuu. He never knew they all shared the same classroom. Regardless, he would pay them no real mind as he picked up a pencil. He wrote his name at the top, frowning slightly as the pencil didnt make any marks. It immediately dawned on him- Asiv meant for that to happen. Why would he make a rule that they can only use pencils he gave them if he didnt know this would happen?
Perhaps it was a way to keep students from cheating...
He wrote his name as best he could at the top, assuming it would show up for asiv at a later time. He was pretty adament about them not cheating- perhaps it was a precaution?
He turned to the girl again.
"Were you able to-" He cut himself off as he saw her raise her hand. He would look up to the front and watch, waiting to see what would be asked and the answer to said question.

Before the teacher even introduced himself and the other physical educational teacher, Mitsuki attempted to scribble her name onto the top right hand corner of the paper. Her lips automatically formed a frown, an obvious sign of being displeased. Her eyes shot up to the teacher, in a half accusatory, half glaring manner. Just what kind of a damn exam was this, anyway? She couldn't even write her own name with this crappy utensil. And then a hand shot up, Mitsuki's eyes darting to another girl before back to the teacher.
Hnn... 'Exam'...

The teacher would make an "uhn?" noise as he saw the hand go up strikingly agressive. He'd look at his sheet of paper, raising your hand wasn't against the rules, so he proceeded to speak nicely after that.
"Yes Ms. St Pierr?"
He truely did wonder what the question was about. It may be about the fact the pencils didn't work in just that one spot where the name was supposed to go did it? That would be amusing.

"Yes Ms. St Pierre?"
When the teacher called on her, Arielle lowered her hand. She pursed her lips into a confused manner, holding up the pencil for him to see.
" Zis writing uteniseel...eet eez not working. Und by ze looks of eet, zer are otherh students who'z aren't working ahz well."
She brought up the problem to the teacher, glancing next to her where David sat. And all about the room there were varying expressions of confusion, irritation and downright apathy. If he expected them to take this test, why would he give them a pencil that didn't work? Was this some sort of practical joke? If so, it was a poor one at that. Arielle hoped it was simply a misunderstanding, and that the teacher and his guest would remedy the situation.
