Narrow hues crossed the classroom's quiet stead, the voice of an elderly teacher rabbled on about the theory of ethics. Frankly it had grown on to be quite old itself, the self-contradicting rules upon rules signalled that there was nothing that could be construed as good or evil, though Gabriel doubted that very much over his long and exasperating past he'd done far too much horrid things. A dreary palm moved to his cheek as he balanced himself on it staring dully out the window. The thoughts of another life drifting in his thoughts, would there be any way of changing that now?
The teacher continued on absent mindedly ignoring students who weren't prepared. His light brown attire complimenting his grey beard giving him the description of a boring College Proffessor. The sound of his voice very deep and monotonic pressing weary ears to sleep.
All the while he hadn't expected it to be very thrilling, ethics had seemed to be all about conjecture, no certain way of winning or loosing. An unstoppable force verses and immovable object. Power was the same unyeilding aspect, it didn't matter how much you got there was always someone stronger, better, faster, smarter. Gabriel had to realize that, but once more his many aspirations and ambitions kept him from doing such, just in this very week becoming a Dragon he only had the hopes of a bright future plagued in growth.

*smack* *smack* *smack*
The smacking sound of Linda chewing gum could be heard down the hall and by each room as she passed. It had been a little while since she had walked the halls of 259. She thought that her move to San Fran would have been a bit more... permanent. Alas, the district had other plans for her. They wanted her back in the fucked up hell hole. She was given her release, and transfer papers signed 'Mr. Purple' and was ordered to return back to 259... To check up on things.
Linda walked proud, and as tall as she could manage for her size. There was no reason to hurry anywhere... she had a hall pass. She passed by a class, overheard the teacher say something about ethics, giggled aloud a bit, and moved on.
"Ethics... What a waste of time that lecture must be." She voiced her thoughts as she continued down the hall. Ethics rarely gets you anywhere in life, just point out the person who became rich because they listened and applied an ethics lecture. Laughable.

The sight of the clock ticking by made the class seem much longer than was necessary, the painful noise of an audible click pressing on continuously drew him to consider sticking the pen he had a hold of in his eye. Gabriel's hand shot up quickly almost to be unnoticed by the teacher. It bounced merrily through the air much similar to a four year old who couldn't control his bladder.
"Yes Mr. Seran?"
"May I go to the restroom?" Gabriel asked respectfully already out of his seat and down the room his hand nearly around the handle of the door.
'If it's really that important I don't see how I can stop you."
Gabriel exited the room with a victorious smile. He didn't actually need to go he merely needed to get out of that room. He'd taken classes similar to that all his life, Gabriel understood the ways of humans, how their minds worked always decietful and devoid of the rules of others. Eyes traced the hallway as he walked along. His body froze suddenly in the middle of his walk staring absently forward.
"Linda..." His hues almost turned scolding,

Linda continued to lag in her steps.
"Linda..."
A male called to her from behind. Without much thought she turned around, gum still a smackin'.
"Yes?..." Her head turned and abruptly stopped once they gazed upon Gabriel. It had been quite some time since she had last seen the student she always addressed as 'Pyro', and this was the last place she expected to find him. Err... Rather him to find her.
"What can I do ya' for, Pyro?" She playfully taunted. Linda loved games, and a reaquanting conversation to her, fit the bill. Her head was slightly tilted. Did Seran want something, or was he just acknowledging that he noticed her presence.

His mind ticked by curiously taking attention as to her pressence, no she wasn't the source of evil that he'd grown a hatred for. Now he had to wonder whether she was an ally of a foe, Since bcoming a Dragon he had to show her the least bit of respect as he'd pressumed was in their code. Yet there still lingered feelings of mistrust concerning her old station as a pillar.
'Things have changed'
He nodded in silence recognizing that he'd acknowledged her pressence. Hesitating a moment he did his best to conceal a hostile position himself.
"Long time no see, Bone Dragon." it was all he could remark under the situation.
Though once more he was questioning how had she earned the title, even so how had any of them earned such a thing. His mind treking back to Matthew Amtrum, had he been as strong?

"Long time no see, Bone Dragon."
Oro?!?!?!? How did he know?!?!? Something was up, Gabriel couldn't have just pulled that knowledge out of the air. Her face expressed her shock.
"How do you know me by that name?" She asked as she raised a brow. She knew that two Dragon's still attended 259, but did she doubted Gabriel knew either of them.
She looked him up and down, giving him the once over. His physique had improved, he was definitely stronger... Maybe he had met one of her brethren.

There was a small amused smirk on his face as he seemed to have broken past the security firewall. They weren't lying when the word's 'Knowledge is power' was spoken. Gabriel approached slowly and with calm demeanor. His hands situated in his pockets, keeping a close eye on her reactions specifically.
"Since you've left I've made quite a few friends here, not to mention gained my own respectable title." Gabriel flashed a smile
he'd earned the title by fighting the strongest Dragon here. Leon, the Lightning Dragon had proved his power far stronger than Gabriel's own and though not yet up to par Gabriel saw himself adapting to that strength soon enough.
"Seems The Lightning Dragon deemed me worthy..."

"HAH!"
So that was how he knew about Linda's old title. She was most amused at Leon's decision to appoint Gabriel to 'Dragon' without any recognition from the others. There had to be some sort of a mistake. Leon knew full well that a Dragon title was only recognized once The Dragons had all conviened and deemed the person receiving the title worthy of it.
There was no way Mathew, Ark, and Faust would have agreed on Gabriel... So what happened, and was this a reacurring thing? Was Leon just giving out titles to just anyone? Linda knew that Gabriel had the answers to these questions, it would just take some conversation to get caught up.
"So the Lightning Dragon recognized you... as one of us? Most interesting. Tell me..." She started as she walked toward him, showing no form of hostility, "if you are a Dragon, then you surely have been approved by the family. What Dragon's whitnessed your... initiation?" Her tone dripped with curiosity as she stood now a few feet away from Gabriel, hungry for an answer.

A grin formed at her amusement, apparently she thought it a jest or had obvious doubt in his own abilities. For a point it may have been of some humor but once more he didn't care. An unamused look on hisfaced concealed any thoughts from appearing too soon.
"Well despite your amusement I'll answer, Mekial and Areon." Gabrielmentioned off their names unconcerned of the implications.
In truth they hadn't been their for his actual bout but each had seen the power Gabriel used. And soon he'd become even stronger. Ambition would seeth its way inside of him as he walked closer to Linda without a notice of intimidation.
"If you're not fully convinced I could give you a show..." Gabriel smiled briefly as an open challenge.

"Well despite your amusement I'll answer, Mekial and Areon."
Wait wha??? Who the hell was Mekial and Areon? Ok something clearly was up because Gabriel seemed serious, almost as if the two mentioned were actual Dragons. This was not the case... Clearly someone was trying to reform a new set of Dragons, without so much as paying tribute to the old. Nah, this shit wouldn't fly.
"To the best of my knowledge, which I can assure you is rusty, the two individuals you mentioned are no Dragons I have ever heard of. So it seems someone is going around making perversions of what we used to stand for." Linda sighed and shook her head.
"I don't need a show, but thanks. I'll just take this up with the Dragons of Old and see just what is going on. I think it might be hunting season soon. What are these Dragon's titles, if you don't mind?" She made sure to ask politely, though.

Gabriel chuckled lightly as though she hadn't just insulted him and the other's he'd taken up arms with. No doubt they weren't the strongest Dragons but they had been honorable towards him and nonetheless ruthless, powerful fighters. And with all those included he'd not reveal it to the likes of Linda. Perhaps she had a mistaken for what the Dragons most likely could be...
"It seems to me Linda, you may be a bit too caught up with the past..." A small chuckle emitted from his throat as he flicked the hair out of his eyes revealing a pair of damaged eyes. Their once emerald hue now faded to topaz.
"Keeping yourself in the past is not always the most beneficial thing. "The Dragons of old" would surly understand that much..." The bitter smile continued judging her.
The Dragons were powerful indeed but once more they deserved to be united as one, not fleeing about like the other hooligans of the many schools they inhabited, it made them look as nothing more than a gang.

"Oh Gabriel, you don't understand. I was asking you nicely. I could just as easily find them myself. I mean you did give me names." She smiled.
Certainly he had not forgotten that he gave her names. It was much easier to find people by their name than it was a title anyway. There was only a few people Linda was sure of that would hold the information she sought, and that was Leon or Ark. Ark was always more illusive, but Leon had always been fairly easy to get in touch with.
"Silly, of course there is a problem with living in the past. However, there is a code to this 'Dragon' thing. Believe it or not we do have a certain way we bring new members into our fold. But since your a Dragon I'm sure you knew that. Silly me." Linda kept her smile and turned away from Gabriel, she would find these new ones.
"Rest assured Gabriel. I'll find them." She giggled. Linda was not taunting him this time, no she was promising.

Gabriel nodded his head unfazed, a small grin on his face as she'd turned away. His thoughts drifted towards the other Dragons here. Valo, Ark, Mekial, Leon, and Areon.
"Then I suppose they shall prove their worth as well..."
His dark gaze seemed to illuminate as the process worked in his head. The word's 'hunt' and 'Dragons' stuck in his head. What did Linda have in mind? It didn't really matter, because for Gabriel a new game had begun...
He turned away on his heel and walked off towards the classroom having efficiently satisfied his curiousity.
