Nerds getting beat up make her smile, crying children make her downright giggle. She has a shocking lack of empathy for everyone around her, and in fact she finds it mildly to incredibly entertaining instead. Unless someone literally invades her personal bubble, it's not her problem. Should it become her problem, however, she has no qualm about beating the shit out of whoever interrupted her day. Phi can be rather competitive, though, and never turns down a challenge.

Fighting Information
Fighting Style: Mixture of breakdancing, street fighting, and capoeira
Years Practiced: ~5
Description of style: “Capoeira is an Afro-Brazilian martial art, game, and culture created by enslaved Africans in Brazil during the 16th Century, marked by fluid acrobatic play, feints, subterfuge, and extensive use of groundwork, as well as sweeps, kicks, and headbutts.” This mixed with break dancing and her streetwise, no-holds-barred style creates a style all her own that is both fluid and effective against her opponents. Her strength isn't completely in her ability to throw a hard punch. She is relatively fast and limber due to her slender female stature, and her strength lies in her Constitution. As an athlete, Ophelia trained her body to withstand getting beat on. When she was younger she would always pick fights with whoever would take her on, and though she lost most of the time, she became harder and harder to defeat. She isn't all about winning, but proving a point. There isn't a single challenge she would turn down.
History Information
History:
The daughter of a florist and a sponsored mountain climber, Olesya is the youngest of three children. Close in age, Darien, Melody, and Olesya were close all through childhood. They acted as most children do, fighting just as much as they got along, with many broken bones and skinned knees and stories to carry throughout their lives. They first moved to Long Beach after Gabriella was born, needing more room for their extended family. It was then that they found what was once a firehouse, now abandoned, and converted it into a three-story house. They left the fireman's pole in, allowing the kids to slide down it for breakfast every morning rather than taking the stairs. Olesya, Darien, and Melody, and Gabri loved it, as all rambunctious kids would.
The first floor was house to her mother's shoppe and small cafe. Meridian's business, 'Blossoms & Bistro' is known for it's quality both in flowers and coffee. The children would work there after school, ushering coffee to artists and poets. It was because of this Olesya got her taste in the arts. She loved listening to their stories, their ideas, it was a colorful world where imagination lived and thrived. When she was 10, and visiting her grandparents back in Ohio, Olesya stumbled upon an old red Fender bass in the attic. It had belonged to her father who had pursued it once, discovered climbing instead, and forgot all about it. He laughed as she brought it to him, begging him to let her play it, and he replied 'it's all yours.' She and her guitar, dubbed 'Lola,' have been inseparable ever since.
The second and third floors of the building belong to the family as living quarters. The second being the traditional first floor, with a kitchen, living room/library, etc, as well as the parent's bedroom and master bath. The third floor belongs entirely to the kids. They divvied up the space evenly enough, and respected the others privacy. Things ran smoothly enough. Heath, a self proclaimed handyman, when not out on a climb is constantly renovating the converted house. There is always at least one room under construction, and the family has learned to live around it. "If it isn't one thing, it's another," her mother would sigh if anyone asked about her husband's hobby.
Then, Melody and Darien graduated.
Melody went off to pursue Med school in Washington, Darien sticking to California for Pre-Law. Melody still comes home every break, while Darien returns home just about every weekend for a good home cooked meal and to get his laundry done. He also works weekends at the cafe while Olesya and Gabri work after school.
When the Enforcers attacked PHS #259, Olesya was eager to help, though ushered her sister Gabri out of the range of fighting and ordered her to go home. Unfortunately in the fiasco, Olesya was kidnapped along with four other students and sent to the California State Correctional Facility, run by Sean Barker, who ran experiments on them. Eventually she managed to escaped with her fellow students in a large to-do that involved a break in from the outside, led by the school itself.
Olesya returned home safe and sound to her family, and hoped to get back to her normal life of music, art, and friends.. the the weekend before school began for her again, Olesya was confronted by none other than her former best friend (and luke warm love interest) Stu Pott, who in her absence had gone a bit mental...and by a bit mental I mean completely and totally homicidal insane. He blamed Olesya for his insanity, and vowed one day to hurt her dearly, to make her pay for what she did. Olesya never had many enemies in her life, though that day she made her first, and biggest one.
Back in school, Les reunited with her friend Emily, who was now the Head of the School newsletter. She introduced her to David Blaze, the Varsity Captain who declared himself School Captain of 259. He engaged Olesya in a fight to determine whether he wanted her as a pillar or not. She lost, but he saw her dedication and spirit, giving her the title of the New Varsity Captain.
Over the Christmas season, Olesya signed up to take care of an orphan for a week as part of a charity event. However, she was paired up with Jon "Unfettered" Winters, a boy she ran into at the skate park, and he broke her skateboard. It caused a fight and he ended up losing, and promised to pay the debt. The week with him and their ward was bizarre at best, though there were some less unpleasant times, and in the end left with a luke warm sort of friendship. Kinda.
School Captain David disappeared not long after that, leaving Emily and Olesya to run the school alone. Emily was given the temp title of SC and Olesya did what she could to protect her and keep order in the school until they could fill the missing positions. As quick as he left, David returned, though refusing to take on his abandoned title as SC. Emily took on the SC role while David was brought back as the Student Body President. Things seemed to be looking up.
Until the Dragons came.
The first to fall was David, Mathew Amtrum taking his title. Then fell Emily, and Linda Osako taking her place, and Matrim Gallagher called out Olesya for a fight in the courtyard, engaging in a long and widely spectated battle that ended with him knocking her unconscious. And with that, he took the title of Varsity Captain.
Olesya woke up in the hospital with a broken nose, two broken ribs, a bruised spine and a minor concussion. She spent a few days in the hospital to recuperate, and during that time, Long Beach was struck with an earthquake that did major damage to the school and surrounding city. The students were transferred off to different schools in order to guarantee education while repairs were made, and one of these schools was PHS #42. Olesya and her sister Gabri moved up here with their father, who was up anyway for a mountain-climber's conference (yeah don't ask). While they were up here, Heath was offered a job as a consultant for a major adventure sports gear industry. After speaking with the family about it, he accepted, and Meridian moved her cafe and floral business up to the Avenues.
Melody moved out of the house completely and is now living out where she is going to Law School, and Darien moved into the dorms at his school, and only comes home during breaks (which means a lot more laundry to pile up).
Olesya adapted well to PHS 42, though her past started to catch up with her. Latent effects from the drugs tested on her in the Correctional Facility were beginning to take hold in her system. Increased aggression, paranoia, decreased rationality...her behavior turned more sporadic until she became the one thing she never wanted to be: a monster.
Thus, Ophelia was born.
Ophelia arrived in Long Beach with a duffel bag full of clothes and personal items, and the shoes on her feet. Where she came from, she doesn't say (nor could she recall for the longest time), but she did not travel with any family or friends. Her accent is Californian, so she didn't travel cross-country or anything, which makes her distinct lack of relations interesting, tossing her into the category of 'rebel without a cause.'
Luckily at the diner she hit up once arriving in Long Beach, there was a waitress looking for an eccentric roommate. She was a waitress by day and a prostitute by night, so she wasn't expecting some sort of ivy-league roommate to share an apartment with. Ophelia moved in that day, to a run-down-two-bedroom-one-bath apartment in the inner part of the city.
Once settled, Phi took about a week to get used to this new city before enrolling in the public school. Many jobs required a stupid piece of paper to ensure that their employees are educated, and because she wasn't an excellent forger (and she was bored and wanted social interaction), she decided to re-enroll in the public school system. This only lasted a couple of weeks though, as Ophelia cared less about school than she did about people.
A few choice interactions with individuals she had thought to be gone forever sparked the old Olesya within the new andimproved Ophelia. Needless to say, the seventeen year old began to experience an identity crisis of sorts, trying to figure out which of her selves she preferred to be (not to be confused with Multiple Personality Disorder, this is purely a philosophical thing). Now, she prefers to go by No-One, as that is who she feels she is. She doesn't give a name, and if people recognize her, then they recognize her. She doesn't make heads or tails of either way.
