Halloween Dance

[Aureus]

"Haha, I found that out first hand," he replied, teasing her. Although she seemed like a cute, harmless, short girl, she was definitely outspoken and could handle herself pretty well in a fight. It was part of what attracted him to her. Quite girls were alright, but spunky ones were better.

"I suppose I do, though I must give you credit for suggesting it," Aureus said with a smile. Halloween had never really been his thing, but now that he had someone to spend it with, he figured it might be fun. "They really did a good job of decorating this place though. I wonder if Asiv helped in that too, or maybe spiking the punch was his only job," he laughed.

"I don't think they'd really trust him with anything else."

Chi added with a laugh, giving the cup on the table a glance. There really was something wrong about it, and she decided to stay away from it. She finished off the first stick of the kit kat, the chocolatey chocolateness of it made her feel even better than she was already feeling. And that was really good. Moving her leg, she burshed her knee against his own, though above the table she pretended not to notice anything. Innocence at it's best, hehe. Brown eyes blinked as they looked at his own, and she grinned.

"We can only hope," Aureus said, half kidding, half serious. 'Cause when you thought about all the messed up things the man had done in the past, you had to wonder what he was scheming next. How about we put poisonous spiders in small boxes glued to the under sides of the tables and have a midget dressed in black go around, open them, and throw them at the students? He could practically see Asiv asking the rest of the faculty in the meeting room.

Not really paying attention, the Sophomore grabbed the cup of punch and took a few gulps. As far as he could tell, whatever it was spiked with wasn't too dangerous, so why not get a little buzzed? It was then that he felt the brown eyed girl's knee brush his own. Turning to look at her, he was greeted with a mischievous smile. So she was teasing him now, eh? Setting down the cup, he moved his hand underneath the table and swept a few fingers across her knee.

[Karel]

"Hnhn."

Yeah, that laugh. The one that came from the voice box and was muffled by the throat as laughed half-heartedly at her playfulness. Pressing himself against her once more, he pushed his lips into her ear, making sure to whisper just loud enough for her, and only her to hear.

"Joking. But... what did Marcus say?"

A fluttery feeling washed over the dark haired girl as Aureus brushed his fingers over her knee. She grinned, moving even closer. They had basically been sitting next to eachother at an angle beforehand, the charm of little round tables, but now the space was getting smaller. Her own hand sneaked beneath the table, brushing her own fingers against his hand teasingly. Tonight was going to be fun. With him she felt like a real fallen angel, innocent and sweet on the outside...and, well, not so much on the inside.

Alright, we should stop. Aureus thought to himself. Although it was exciting, they were kinda in public. So, who cares? You can still be sneaky, man. Yeah, but it's just not right. Stop being a baby. the schizo argued with himself, Levi pushing caution to the wind as usual. As usual, the boy ended up taking the middle road. Pulling his hand away, Aureus leaned over and pressed his lips into her's. Looking to tease her more, he sucked on her bottom lip.

Chi smirked as she returned his kiss, allowing about a minute of teasing before she broke it, biting at his bottom lip playfully and pulling away slightly so that their faces were still close together. He really was too handsome. She leaned forward again, planting a kiss on his cheek as she reached up with her hand to brush the other.

"So, how much longer till you become my knight in shining armour?"

She asked playfully, the hand falling from his cheek to brush his tunic, tugging playfully as she brown eyes connected with his.

Everything she was filled his senses as they kissed. In a way he was addicted to her, she was the best thing in his life. And being there with her, not worrying about what happened tomorrow or in a week made him feel really alive. This is life...this is what makes trudging through class, dealing with idiots in the halls, everything; this is what makes it all worth it. Aureus thought before she pulled away and posed a rather open ended question.

He couldn't help but try to guess exactly what she was talking about. There were so many possibilities. Did she mean when he would take her away from that crappy town and off to Hawaii, when he would make Soresu pay for what he did, or what? It just went to show how much had yet to happen, how much he hoped would happen. The look on his face was probably one of uncertainty mixed with thought. After a moment he snapped back into reality and met her gaze. "I dunno, what are the prerequisites?" He asked before placing a quick kiss on her nose.

"Hnhnhn"

A small muffled laugh escaped at the sometime as his. She wasn't completely serious, afterall whatever they would do wouldn't be meant for viewing pleasures. But then again, being that it was rather boring, it would've been nice to stir up something. His body pressing against hers even more, while her hands still remained upon his chest as his breath entered her ear in a whipser only meant for her. Had she even talked to Marcus about letting him stay with them? Well actually she did and after a long conversation, she had gotten her answer. She gave a playful disappointed 'hmmm..' before speaking within his ear. Her words only for him and him alone.

"...After a long deliberation and some convincing... you can stay with us... Does that satisify you?"

[Karel]

It was then and there that he suddenly applied body-wide pressure as he grinded her up against the wall before easing off with the tension, rough contact so as to keep the night alive and interesting.

"Hnh. No, actually... no it doesn't. But you will."

The senior simply applied a soft peck just next to her ear, looking through the edge of his left eye as he mused over the sight of her face.

"Hnh. No, actually... no it doesn't. But you will."

Upon hearing his words her brow perked slightly, then returned to it's normal state feeling him give her a peck close to her ear. Truthfully somewhere in the back of her mind, she kind of wonder what this was exactly. What exactly was between them? Was this just some friends with benefits or something else? Who knows? Well actually he knew... and maybe he could provide an answer for her. But then again, somewhere in her she didn't really care. Confusing isn't it?.. Well for some it might be. But anyways, with her hands still on his chest she pushed him off just slightly, just enough that they were face to face- though faces touching.

"...Is that so?.... Let me ask you something Karel, if you don't mind answering... What exactly is this?..."

[Karel]

In all honesty, even he didn't know. His heart belonged to someone else, and yet for that person's sake he had left... to what end? His life was so damn complicated that he - of all people, were even confused. Perhaps Rasha was the first page of the next chapter in his life... but the one he was currently in, was something he hadn't finished. And maybe... just maybe, all he needed was some time. To think about this... but he felt that it wasn't right to talk to her about this just yet. Maybe once he had moved in, settle down and written a few more pages in this ongoing book that he would read her parts of his story... and in that time, perhaps he would learn more about himself. Not as a gang leader.... not as a living weapon, but... as a person.

Leaning his head slightly forward, tilting it to the right he answered her question with a slow kiss. Sensuality. No tongue.

Two people with fairly complicated lives, truly both needing time to think about anything. Her heart never belonged to anyone - maybe it never would... why? Simple... love was a mystery to her. What was love? What did it truly mean to give your heart to someone? Sure she might tell Marcus that she loved him, but he was her father figure and that love was something different. There was plently in her life that was left unfinished and it would probably remain that way for some time. Feeling his lips press against her cherry glossed lips, she exchanged the sensual kiss. Somewhere in the back of her mind she felt that he didn't truly know the answer to her question himself. She pulled away from the kiss just slightly - their lips would still be touching with her every word.

"...You don't really know either huh?.. Not a big deal, it was just a question..."

She gave a small smile, and gave him a small peck on the lips. In her speech she let out a small indication that she didn't even know what this was. But now the question is, did she care? Did she really care?

...they say, that humans have one extra instinct that most other animals don't. Aside from last and the primal urges to reproduce... marsupials in particular have the longing for trust and emotional satiation. To have a partner they can spend their time with, to raise that family once the deed's been done... which is why many people never quite understood the relationship between emotion and instinct... instinct - to do what was natural. But... right now, he knew only one thing that was for certain. He didn't mind having a petting session with this person... as such, maybe something might build from it? If that's how it happens, then that's how it happens - riding along the river or life, letting it flow as this senior cared little but for drifting in the current.

But if Rasha didn't care... then all this could be simply pointless.

For some reason, Karel felt different... something in his body was diminished. The punch, so full of sugar had forced his body to go into a high so as to place him in some form of hyperactivity. But in turn, this accelerated activity had caused him to diminish his body's natural energy reserve faster than what was natural. Of course, his body could regain that lost energy at an amazing speed due to his well developed physical constitution, but the affects on the mind would not disappear for quite some time.

Sometimes one has to go against the current to find what they truly want... sometimes.. But once again did she care? Maybe somewhere in her she did care, for one thing was for certain - there was a high chance that she wasn't just gonna give herself to him everytime is asked or came around. Even though this might be a friends with benefits thing; if that's what it was; she wasn't gonna be whored around. And that was in her mind. Yes she found him quite attractive, but she wouldn't become his little sex kitten. Hmm.. given that, maybe one could say that she did care even in the slightest. She can be a complicated person sometimes. On the outside for a moment her smile faded, and her eyes looked away from him - looking to the right out of her corners, she seemed to be in thought. Maybe thinking about some things.. but what? But her thoughts would be broken before really starting as he spoke. Her gaze slowly returned back up to his, as she just lightly shook her head and responded in a soft tone.

"..No...no I don't mind..."

Her eyes shifted to the right again, and then behind him. Yes she was doing the whole look around again. That small paranoia that she denies having occuring. She became overly cautious after leaving; she had it.. they were damn good and some had far more experience on her - though not to doubt her own abilities. Hazel orbs returned to his eyes once again, as she just randomly spoke about their little meeting - her tone still the same.

".. That day in the gym... it was rather unexpected huh?.. Or maybe it wasn't..hm.."

Somewhere in her tone it was as if there was something else she might've wanted to say, but couldn't or just didn't have the words. Ya know that wasn't like her at all... well sometimes when her mind started to go into a deep thought. Plain and simple..she's complicated...
