David rolled his shoulders, cracking his neck. Last fight? Nothing. He had stepped in and stepped out to no injury to himself, and had advanced to the semi finals. He knew who his opponent was-it sparked interest inside him, made him grin at the prospect of taking on another Dragon. An original Dragon. One that had, for so long, been top tier. He grinned, hands placed against the wall of the tunnel in front of him, the cold cement pressing firmly against his wrapped hands. He loved it. He heard the announcer call out his name, and to his pleasure, heard a violently mixed reaction. Some felt he would win, others felt she would win. Still, he was undetered. He stepped up the few cement blocks and into the cage, reaching back behind him and grabbing the door, slamming it shut behind himself.
'Linda.'
He stared, watching the doorway with a small look of expectation, waiting for her to enter. The Bone Dragon. He knew what she was like- he had seen her fight, and he had seen her thick, casual durability. But David- David was ready. He was prepared.
He would break this Dragon, and move on to claim his title as Tournament Champion.
He grinned.
'This will be...oh so much fun.'

Linda walked into the ring, her eyes dense with conflict. She stood tall, proud, but none the less human. She was know champion of great feats, nor was she a fool of self inspiration. David Blaze was her opponent, he no undoubtedly thought poorly of Linda... Maybe her new resolution would show him, the again... Maybe it wouldn't. She looked up, before looking at him. Her eyes wandered and scaled the great cage that enclosed her and David. Was this a dream, a soft spoken image of past experiences made tangible? Was this her destiny, to fight a lost hero? To play the role of villain to one that held such misunderstanding for her? "And so it comes to me... I wonder... What do we gain from this?" Her eyes fell to David, like asteroids from the heavens. "I will not contest your game 'Dragon Slayer'. However, I hope that you will understand the meaning of this... all of this... " she looked around once more. Baffled by one's own ambition, should I stand in the way of self influenced heroism, or should I stand up for what I find is truly important?Linda nodded, looking over toward the black man in a trench coat, holding her boom box. With a nod, the music began to play. Rest easy you poor misunderstood souls...The Vision What will you choose Blaze? Understanding, or conflict with what has confused you since your transfer?Only a mocking cry could echo in the back of her mind as she brought her right hand forward, in a defensive boxing position. The stronger arm seemingly backward while the right would linger for defense. OoC- Str 89 Dex 60 Con 100 Wis 60 Int 60 Cha 60

David smiled. A small, sad smile. Not because of what she called him, but she misunderstood every possible purpose for his stating it, or acting how he did. He knew her mind, knew how she felt. He, at that moment, solved what had been bothering her. She felt she knew him, knew his mind and what he was like. What he wanted. She didn't understand at all, because she could never see it. All that was in her eyes was contempt, and challenge. He could have spoken harsh words of anger, told her she was a foolish little girl who based her importance on power and strength. But he didn't. He spoke words that to most would hold no meaning, it may even be gibberish to her and not pretain to the moment at hand.
"Linda, You are by far one of the most beautiful women i have ever known, and you have a dire strength in you and a possible hunger to help." He took a deep breath. "But you honestly don't know how to feed it."
He cracked his neck in a slow circle.
"This fight? It has no meaning to me. I am here to grow and learn, and to prove myself in a contest of strength and skill. If i fall, i will grow stronger. If i succeed, i look forward to the day when i am beaten." He smiled as the man off to the side yelled to begin the fight.
"Come- lets dance, you and i."
He started forward, moving simply, bringing his hands up in a direct manner. His left was out in front, hand open, palm facing his adversary. His right was in a loose fist near his chin, his elbows about five inches from his ribcage. He would step in close and shoot a light jab to her face- nothing big, and even if it connected it would just bring light pain. He wasn't going to throw anything huge or damaging, since everyone knows-
The first strike is almost always dodged or countered.

David was acting like he could understand her... This was definitely different. Beautiful?... Not a first, but none the less still a compliment.
Perhaps we both know one another better than we will ever acknowledge. Too bad... He is kinda cute. Ewww.... I just thought that. *Mental death*
"Come- lets dance, you and i."
A dance is what he wants, The Dragon Slayer and the Bone Dragon... Interesting really. The Bone Dragon represents the aspect of death... There was nowhere else this fight could go but down. The result would be cataclysmic, and of epic proportions.
David began, and Linda was in stance, but David was faster than her. Nothing new, Linda was never the most speedy of fighters. She was confident that she could keep up though.
David launched a left jab, nothing fancy or spectacular, but none the less an effective attack. As David's left jab approached Linda's face, she turned her head to her left. David would connect with Linda's cheek as she turned her head, forcing the jab to land but only glace what it would have fully impacted. In a reactive motion, Linda would grab David's left arm by the wrist with her right hand, and pull him to the her left where her left jab would greet his face. Twisting with a counter clockwise motion, she was confident that she could do this effectively.

David smiled mentally.
The thing about a punch is this- even as it lands, or misses its target, it begins to retract. Its the fundementals of any blow. As she snatched he would already be bringing his hand back, and he would step in closer, allowing her to grab his hand as he did so (not that he could really stop her, with them being so close. Her punch would fly by his head, and his right hand would use the close proximity of thier bodies to snatch her arm at the elbow joint before it reached full extension. His left leg, having stepped inward, would stabilize him, his right knee flying up into a gruesome blow to the ribs. With her right arm holding his left outward, this would narrow her strength and balance, and the blow would likely loosen the grip on his hand.
Even if it didnt, his foot would plant and he would release the grip on the arm, bending his own right arm and throwing the bony elbow straight for Linda's chin.
If it landed, he would use his right hand on her chest to push her backwards, wrenchig on his left to get his hand back and using his peripherals to watch her left hand- didn't want any hair pulling or grabbing, now did we?

Linda knew where this was going. She knew right when David began to change his footing. Keep your friends close. "And your enemies... closer." She said as she wrapped her arms around David, like a hug, pulling both of their bodies too close to one another for either to attack. Yes, this would seem like a risky move, but then again, how high can one raise a knee whilst hugging. No doubt David would try to break free, after all Linda was HUGGING him. What kind of crazy world was this happening in? The sounds of the boom box would fall silent for only a mere few seconds. The momentary silence of music allowed the sounds of the crowd to flood the ears. It didn't last long though, the music returned. A loud tone could be heard, overtaking all other sounds, what was this song? The muse of the Bone Dragon. Her story expressed in musical form. Feel it in my BonesLinda's head currently rested next to David's... Aww hugs are fun. "Been a while since I've heard this... My song." She whispered into his ear. She didn't really know why she was telling him this. Perhaps to further his understanding of her, then again... Maybe she was looking for a response. With a breath, she would release him from her 'hug', which wasn't that strong. That felt kind of weird...She looked to David, she was wide open for an attack now. Her arms were at her sides, and she was just standing there... Looking at him. It was his move now. She expected the fight would continue, I mean it was a tournament. Certainly something was to be won from it. However even Linda didn't understand why she didn't just tank whatever David was going to dish out back there... Something was off.

Davids eyebrows rose when she hugged him.
So what did he do?
Why, he hugged the girl back of course!
His arms wrapped gently around her body, a small smile coming to his lips as she whispered in his ear. He whispered back. "Its beautiful!" When she released him he didn't stumble back, instead he took a few steps back slowly, planting his hands on his hips. He heard of the strange antics and talking in every other fight this tournament had, except the one with Gabriel, and now it seemed his turn to speak. He looked at her with a mixture of slight irritation and confusion. What the hell was with these people? The one time he actually wants to fight, and is willing to watch them fight, and nobody is into it.
"Why aren't we fighting? You wanna make out instead or something?"
He placed a small smile on his face, letting her know that it was a joke, that he wasn't some typical guy who was trying to be a badass. He just wanted to scrap, but apparently she had something on her mind. He did too- those bewbies of hers planted against his chest from that hug.
That was hawt.

"Why aren't we fighting? You wanna make out instead or something?"
Linda slightly cringed, slightly, but none the less she did so. She knew David was kidding... but Jesus Christ... Fail.
"Well, so much for a free shot." She smiled as she brought her arms back up and into form, this time however, her fingers were locked in place and not balled up in a fist. She kept her eyes focused on David. He wanted a fight, and Linda was confused as to if she wanted to fight him.
Why not just go into this like everything else? Why am I feeling like I should throw this...?
[/move]
Name calling in one's own head is never a good thing. Yes, she would fight this out, she had to. There was too much at stake to just roll over and give this fight.
Linda lunged forward, like a cat chasing a mouse. Her hands were in a similar placement as before, however this time the left led while the right cocked back. If David didn't move, dodge, counter, etc... Linda would drive her left makeshift claw into David's sternum, with a twisting clockwise motion of the hand.

David cocked an eyebrow. Why was she pausing? David wasn't one to take up free shots- he thought better of himself. There was something going on with this girl though, a thought that was obviously giving her reason to pause. He frowned. What was going on here?
She moved forward once again, and David brought up his hands in a stance exactly like the one he had before, only his left hand was in a fist, and his right was facing palm toward Her. As she shot her hand forward, he snatched it at the wrist with his right hand, and with his left he grabbed her right, after pushing the left hand outward more. He would step in and, without hesitation throw a hard headbutt to her nose before jumping backwards, releasing the arms as he did so, laughing maniacally. He was now about ten feet from her, a grin on his face as he chuckled, bouncing from foot to foot.
"C'mon Linda, your suppose to be spunky- teasing me with hugs and words. Come on now- either fight me or talk with me, but don't keep switching moods."
He was feeling slightly light headed, Adrenaline pumping. He wasn't going to wait forever, and this female really needed to either step up her game or speak out- they were in a cage match, you didn't just stop and give a warm hug without a purpose.

Who said you could get away? As David grabbed Linda's right wrist, she bent her arm at the elbow, bringing her shoulder in toward his sternum, her body weight and momentum behind it. At the same time it seemed David had an attack of his own planned as he shot her forehead forward...? He was going to headbutt her shoulder, at this distance she doubted either of them could salvage such an attack and the two forces would collide. Shoulder beats head. Like in rock, paper, scissors... Headbutt? o.O Interesting. If David was going to try and immediately retreat out of this one he was certainly going to attempt to do so stumbling. Its not often anyone takes a shoulder to the head and just prances away like a deer. Now considering David was much taller than Linda, he would certainly have some difficulty headbutting her. 6' 3" vs. 5' 8"... His attack had undoubtedly knocked him off his center of balance. Hmm, how funny would it be if he was knocked over? Physics was a bitch... but women knocking over big tall guys was just funny

David's eyebrows drew down. Here was a situation, but not a big one. She was getting into the grappling area of his fighting experience, and he would gladly make the quick change. He didn't headbutt her, instead stepping back with his left leg to stabilize his upper body, leaning forward a little against her force. He would still slide back on the matt, but it would be slower, and it wouldn't be knocking him off his feet. Still, they couldn't just continue like that, so David released both her arms quickly and, using the short distance between his left arm and her head, would get her in a sort of "headlock". Sort of. He would, once locked in, step forward into her pushing motion, putting his feet closer to hers as he arched his back with her in said headlock. A modification of the Standing Guillotine. He would be effectively cutting off the stability to her lower body, as well as the oxygen to her brain. If she tapped out, he would release her, only to be fair to the game. He didn't want this to be won on submission, so a tap out to him wouldnt mean victory, but more like a "okay lets back up a bit". Besides...he was still curious as to her previous and current motives in this fight.

Grapples are pretty.
David went for his fancy grapple, defying what Linda had assumed would happen. Leave it to Blaze to counter again and again. Linda was at a disadvantage here. Her opponent had 7 inches on her, and clearly was going to make her work for what she wanted. Fine.
Taking advantage of the view, but lets not get too far ahead of ourselves. David had 'let go of Linda's wrists' given that she was using her now freed arms to try and break his grapple, it would only last for a mere few milliseconds. With all her might she kicked her right leg up and into David's nuts. 89 Str plus Linda's will to um.. not get choked out? Seemed like pretty good odds it would make him release or at least stumble back.
It was never a move she was proud of, but her opponent had taken advantage of the height difference... so she would take advantage of the testicle difference.
Chokes are for a chick fight. Naughty nu-nu!

Pain exploded through his head, and with it came something else. Anger. A memory came to mind, a fight where last he had been hit in the nuts. He hated getting hit there. Hated it hated it hated it. The worst part for linda? David had been ENJOYING the fight. Now, throwing in a low blow, she had gone and pissed him the fuck off, just as the boy from the infirmiry had done. David clenched his arms tighter and pulled up on them, his grip totally obscuring her blood flow. Pain racked his mind, and the only thought that occured to him at that moment was to make Linda pass out. She could have hit him anywhere- palm to the knee, the pocket of nerves at the hip. No, she had to hit him in the balls. He locked his legs this time, probably bringing Linda to her tip-toes. He growled, wondering to himself if she tapped out, would he let her go? He didn't want to...but he didn't want this to end here. He yelled, taking a step back and twisting his torso, using the grip on her neck to lift her from her feet and hurl her into the steel Cage. He would, upon doing so, stumble to the other side, leaning against it and gripping his manhood with a look of sheer pain on his face. He couldnt stop asking himself why... "Fucking bitch..." He whispered it, and over the din she would not hear it, he coughed a moment, waiting for her to move. He would fight when she did- until that moment, he would wait and recouperate his testicles.

I could get used to this, thrash me tough boy.Linda was in for a ride... Weeeeee! Allowing herself to be tossed effortlessly, with no resistance. It was like flying threw the air like a stone bird! Linda bounced off the cage and dropped to the ground, standing up fairly quickly, brushing herself off as she straightened up. "Sorry about that honey. But putting a girl in a submission is pathetic and as is hitting someone in the nuts. I thought you wanted a fight, not a hugging match, so I figured I would bring you back to reality." She smiled, yes, smiled. The thing about Linda, and most people for that matter, didn't like headlocks. Shocker, but nobody ever wants to pass out from lack of blood circulation, just like nobody likes to get hit in the nuts. Eye for an eye and all is fair when you start playing dirty. Come to think of it... Linda could not remember ever hearing of a competitive self defense style that allowed headlocks. They were dirty and cheap, just like low blows! Life comes full circle. *raises baby Simba* Running forward, Linda was going to take the fight to the o so perfect David Blaze. Once he was within her striking range, she would twist her lower body counter clockwise, turning slightly and stretching just far enough for the top of her right foot to deliver a kick across David's face as he was keeled over, 'recovering'. Linda had many other options at this point, and the tide of battle had changed. David was probably upset that he got hit in his itty-bitties, but he certainly had it coming because Linda was upset that her blood wasn't going to her brain! God was probably going to intervene again and counter for David... but then again... maybe not. Maybe David was Atheist. *shrug*
