(OOC: Fight is statless, agreed upon by MSN. Sara can confirm this with her post.)
After what can only be described as a game of rock papers scissors lizard spock turned horribly wrong, Matrim could only assume his next fight was going to be a bit different. Of course, now he was fighting Sara, which only begged the question who's ass did she just beat to get here? He hadn't known but he decided he'd just go with the fight and see what happened. He didn't know who was after this, but he was happy to be getting into an actual fight.
Wearing just his sweats he decided to keep them on, walking around a bit, stretching out his knees he would look over to Sara and say, "Alright, let's do this. Show me just how much you've learned in training...."
Matrim put both hands up, palms open and facing Sara. his right foot was forward, toes pointing toward her, his right hand was out in front of him. His left hand was at his waistline, drawn back. His left foot was planted sideways, his front right knee bent a bit to lower his center of balance. He grinned, "Bring it."

Sara had come out of the last fight with little to no damage. Wearing the same white sweat pants and black sports bra, she faced her opponent. Her hair was still tied back in a tight bun, not a hair out of place since her fight with Gabriel.
Seeing Matrim standing across from her, she heaved a frustrated sigh. There was no way she could see this battle ending well. There was only one thing that could make this fight worse. And that was if this was the finals. One of them was going on, the other was going to lose. She did NOT want to be the one to lose. Especially to him. She watched him walking around, stretching his legs. It was almost as though he didn't see a problem with this fight.
"Alright, let's do this. Show me just how much you've learned in training.... Bring it."
She watched him take his stance, looking for any openings. His feet were to far apart and balanced for a trip, and his hands were to far apart to get in a punch before he could retaliate and counter. She readied herself, bringing her hands up in front of her to block, left leading.
She walked slowly towards him, arms defending her chest and face, legs bent for balance, her upper body hunched to protect her lower torso. At this pace, he would either be forced to attack before she got close enough, in which case she was ready to defend, or she would be able to reach him without incident.
If he hadn't attacked or moved away, when she reached a few feet from him, her leading left hand inches from his leading right, she would attack. Her right hand would snap out to grab his right wrist, and she would step around him to his right before he could attack with his left hand. She would attempt to twist his right arm behind his back, her left hand reaching for the elbow of his drawn back left arm.
If she managed to grab it, she would attempt to kick out his left knee, dropping him to the ground on that knee. Her foot would plant on his back and push as she attempted to get him to tap out with the threat of dislocation to his shoulders.
If she didn't manage to grab his left elbow she would attempt to grab his hair with her left hand, pulling his head back hard so that he wouldn't be able to turn to counter. Again, she would attempt to knock out his left knee and drop him. Pulling his head back so he would be looking at the ceiling, she would let go of his right arm and slam her right elbow down on his nose, breaking it.

Matrim knew this attack of hers quite well, she had done it a few times to him. So he quickly adjusted and had a plan laid out as soon as she reached to grab his right wrist. She got it, and started to twist it around his back, he waited, his head turning left quickly, his left eye focusing on her free hand. It went for his elbow and he drew it back and up slightly out of reach, then just as it fully extended his elbow would slam back before she could go for hair, aiming to slam at the entirely exposed left side of her face, his left hand would wrap around her left arm and grab a hold of the bottom of her bicep, pulling the arm outward so it couldn't grab onto him.
Matrim would then grip tightly, swinging his head forward and then ramming it back towards her nose in an attempt to make her free his right hand. If she let go he would turn to his right immediately to face her, both hands going up. Otherwise he would raise his right foot up and kick his heel back for her right thigh in attempt to damage her leg to punish her for leaving herself open to a kicking opportunity.

As Sara reached for his elbow, he moved it, extending it forward so that it was out of her reach. Reaching for his hair, she caught movement out of the corner of her eye as his arm slammed back in an attempt to elbow her exposed face. Immediately, she ducked, bringing her arm back down from its attempted grab at his hair.
Seeing the opening, she slammed her fist upward at his now exposed left side. Deciding this was now more trouble then it was worth, she released his right arm, and rolled back, somersaulting and landing crouched on the balls of her feet behind him, out of kicking range.
Getting slowly to her feet she started to circle to her right, not turning from him to offer an opening, but moving so that she would eventually be off to his right side, in his line of sight, but meaning she had a better view of his limbs to see what he was planning. She would wait for him to make the next move, preferring to attempt a counter then a direct attack.

A hit to his exposed side, she released him and rolled back. She got out of kicking range and he turned to see her, she circled him and she waited for him to make the next move, his side bruised up a bit from the hit. His right arm reached over to it to touch it and toy with it a little to see what kind of maneuverability he had. It was a lot better than he initially thought as the impact wore off a bit, and then he decided to kick it up a notch....
"Look, you're quick, I'm big, you're gonna hit me a lot, I'm gonna take it for days, it's going to take a long time, and then one of us is going to be too tired to go on to the last round.... so let me suggest an alternative, riddles."
Matrim grinned, "I'll tell the first one... I am at the middle of middle, and the end of end. What am I?"

"I'll tell the first one... I am at the middle of middle, and the end of end. What am I?" "What? Are you serious?" Sara's body stayed tensed as she watched him skeptically. He did make a good point though. They had fought before, many times, and this could go on for a while. Maybe switching up the fight was a good idea... But it still left her wondering if it was for real. "D. The answer's D.. How is this going to work? First one to be stumped loses?" She stepped further back and relaxed slightly with a smile on her face. If he was serious, she wasn't going to give him an easy one. She was going right for the stump factor. She started to speak to him, crossing her arms over her chest and cocking her hip. If this was how it was going to go, she was going to win. - There is a wall.
- On one side of the wall, there is ONE person. This person is wearing a white hat.
- On the other side of the wall, there are THREE people. They are each wearing a hat, in this order: Black, White, Black
- The THREE people are standing in a single line. The person in front CANNOT look behind them to see the other two. The person in the MIDDLE cannot see the person behind them, but they CAN see the person in front. The person in the back can see both people in front of them.
- They have been told that there are 2 white hats, and 2 black hats.
- No one can see through the wall.
- NO ONE CAN SEE THEIR OWN HAT!
- Only one person can speak, and must say with ABSOLUTE CERTAINTY what color hat they are wearing.
Who will be the one to speak, and what color hat are they wearing?

Matrim had to think about it (OOC: and so did I). He thought about it, and he thought about it....
The person in the back won't know cus there's the white and black and he won't know which one he has... person on the other side of the wall is screwed, the person in front can't see shit, it has to be the other guy but why is it the guy in the middle?
Think Matrim... think..... competition.... they're trying to win, what would make them win.... what if it isn't a competition and it's a task..... IF HE HAD THE SAME HAT AS THE GUY IN FRONT OF HIM THE GUY IN BACK WOULDA SAID SOMETHING!
"The bloke in the middle with the white hat. Because if he had a black hat, the guy behind him woulda said something by now," Matrim said, "That one was tricky..... alright....."
"In the morning I walk on four legs, in the afternoon I walk on two. In the evening I walk on three, what am I?"

"That one was tricky..... alright....."Sara sulked, a pout coming to her face. She had been sure he wasn't going to get that one. Why the hell did he have to be smart? "In the morning I walk on four legs, in the afternoon I walk on two. In the evening I walk on three, what am I?" "The answer is easy. It's a person. My next one wont be so simple." Sara paced back and forth as she thought about which to ask next. She had a whole arsenal of them, considering puzzles were her favorite past time. She didn't particularly like that his were simple though. If he was going to get a challenge, she wanted one as well. But she wasn't about to complain. "Ok, here..." - THREE people check into a hotel.
- They pay $30 dollars to THE MANAGER for a room.
- The manager remembers that the room is ONLY $25
- He gives $5 to the BELLBOY to return to the men.
- Along the way, he decides that $5 between three people is difficult to split, so he takes $2.
- He returns $1 to each of the three men.
- Each of the men now paid $10 and received $1. So they each paid $9. This totals $27.
- The BELLBOY took $2. This now totals $29.
Where is the missing $1?

"Did I ever tell you the time I had a chip put in my head? The A.I. in the chip was a Math magician. Logic reasoning, stuff like that. I think this isn't fair personally, but the answer is there is no missing dollar. The total is 27, not 29. The 27 already takes into account the two dollars the bell boy took. That being said..." Matrim said, thinking about it.
He would go with a more practical one. A metaphor of sorts, a poem-esque riddle, "What can run but never walks, has a mouth but never talks, has a bed but never sleeps, has a head but never weeps?"
Matrim knew the answer, and he knew a few more riddles as well. He hoped she had more though. He really wanted to hear some more.

Dammit! He needed to tell her these things ahead of time. Had she known, she wouldn't be going to wards math problems. He had a definite upper hand in this if he had a chip in his head. She was really surprised he had gotten that one though. She hadn't met many people who had gotten that one. But onto his riddle. God, she hated those types of riddles. For her, they weren't even riddles, just word tricks that should be shot through the damn head. At least this one was easy. "It's a river. Now if you don't mind, give me something that's actually going to challenge me." She smiled wickedly at him. The next one was a little easier, but maybe she would get lucky and he wouldn't get it. - You have 24 coins.
- 23 of the coins are the same weight. One is heavier then all the others.
- You are given a balance beam to compare the weight of any two sets of coins out of the total set of 24.
- You must determine which coin is heavier in the minimum amount of weighings.
How many weighings are required to identify the heavier coin?

Are you serious? Another math problem?
The answer is---
NO go away, you don't exist. I'm gonna figure this out on my own.... lets see, you split it in half and then...
That's not how you do--
you take the heavier of the two and split that in half....
I'm telling you Matrim you're wrong about thi--
And you do it a couple more times.... and..... GOT IT!
"FOUR The answer is FOUR!" Matrim said.
...... nope.
"It's four isn't it? I so knew it...." Matrim said waiting for her to admit her defeat to him. He just couldn't think of a riddle right off that bat, then, "When is a door not a door?!?!?!?"

"It's four isn't it? I so knew it.... When is a door not a door?!?!?!?" Sara's jaw dropped slightly. "Ah..." She had won? OMGNOWAI! SHE HAD WON!! !!! She smiled at Matrim, hand placed lightly on her cocked hip. "Again, easy. When it's Ajar. You were wrong though. The answer was three. You were on the right track, but... You can do it in three by dividing the coins into three sets of eight and weighing two of them. If the scale is even, it's the third pile. If it tips, in the heavier pile. Then you take the heavier one and divide it into two sets of three and one set of two. Weigh the sets of threes. If the scale tips, it's in one of those. If it doesn't its one of the other two. Weigh them. If it was a set of three, simply weigh two of the coins to find the heaviest." She laughed softly. "Good job. It was an interesting fight to say the least."
