Drea nodded peacefully at her sister's words, simply enjoying her yogurt. Their parents had been great, always taking the time to play with them.
And then Emily said something that had her attention.
"... Your yogurt...... ah, mine's cold soup now..."
Drea looked at both yogurts before blinking.
"I hadn't expected yours to melt so quickly..." She might've left the whole thing to Emily's heat simply melting hers, but in five minutes, hers hadn't so much as softened. If anything, she could swear that it had thickened.
"My ice cream never melts," she admitted. "But hot food cools quickly with me."
She blinked. "Is it the opposite for you?" She would bet that it was true. After all, Emily's ice cream had melted. That alone indicated that her body temperature affected her food. It wasn't much of a stretch to assume that it also kept her food warm.
And yet, she didn't think it was all that special. Food did that, right?

"I hadn't expected yours to melt so quickly... My ice cream never melts, But hot food cools quickly with me."
.... Oh, really now?
It was the complete opposite of Emily. Interesting. Very, Very interesting. Emily's smile faded into something a little more serious as she basically sped up eating the yogurt. It was almost as if she was being late for something.
Actually, her curiosity was getting the best of her and telling her to hurry up and see what this anomaly is. If Emily knew right, this girl might have the very opposite of her Qi.
"Is it the opposite for you?"
Emily took her bowl and gulped down the cool liquid remaining. "Interesting." She said. It had absolutely nothing to do with Drea's question, but Emily's mind was far, far away from that question right now. "Hurry up and finish, we need to go somewhere else."
Naw. No need to be paranoid, Drea. Em might be a leading member in a gang, but definitely no mafia was after her.
...
Unless you considered Emily's curiosity and insatiable thirst for knowledge as one.

Drea shrugged before following suit, taking quick, polite, and filling bites of her remaining yogurt. She finished quickly, having become used to being allotted only ten minutes for lunches when she'd been grounded.
She wondered what it was Emily wanted to do, but didn't ask until she'd lightly dabbed a corner of a napkin against her lips to ensure that her state was still impeccable.
Then, and only then, did she ask.
"Where are we going?"

"Where are we going?"
Emily just smiled reassuringly at her sister and kept walking, directing her to a place that wasn't so far off from the yogurt shop. It was an empty field that was being used by the children from the nearby elementary school as a baseball field. Since there was still school at this hour, it was typical to say that this area was more or less a place for a good quiet time.
Looks like Emily's remembering Long Beach quite well, right?
"Here." She said, "To answer your question earlier; yes. it seems that your Qi is the complete opposite of my own." Emily would start to peel off her gloves, pull off her shoes and basically most of her stuff that more or less helped her fight. The only thing she kept on was her clothes.
"Hopefully you know what Qi is, Drea." She said, taking an offensive position, as if to fight. "Do you?"
Now, with Emily's arms not covered by her opera gloves, her scars would be in full view. Those horrendous scars were the secondary proof of her trials in the Correctional Facility. These scars would fade away in time, but... the other scar lies hidden in black dye.
But these scars were horrible to look at. Imagine that your entire left arm was scalded by steam you created from your own Qi, several icicles piercing through your flesh, sharp objects slicing through your skin, and hits from every corner pounding at your very flesh and bone.
There were a few more scars hidden underneath Emily's clothes, but that was something that Drea shouldn't see just yet.
After all, realizing all this and finding out that your sister has already been shot twice and almost gutted with a knife is definitely not a fun way to spend time with, right?

As they entered the field and then stood, stationary, Drea took in the view. From its size and location, she deduced it was likely a place for the younger children to play. A miniature bat, lying in the corner of the field only emphasized her thoughts.
"Here." Emily said, "To answer your question earlier; yes. it seems that your Qi is the complete opposite of my own."
And Drea blinked - Qi? She had a Qi? I mean... She'd considered it before, but she'd never really applied the concept to herself. She had a Qi? It was... interesting, to say the least. Still, it seemed Emily's Qi revolved around heat - fire. If hers was an opposite, it was easily deduced that hers rotated around water.
"Hopefully you know what Qi is, Drea." Emily said said, taking an offensive position, as if to fight. "Do you?"
"I do," Drea said, eyes narrowing as she moved one foot back. She wasn't sure why her sister was showing her the scars - which were terrible - or had slipped into an offensive position.
The scars caught her attention - they were terrible, and she imagined that they must've been painful to acquire. Some people were lucky. Everyone had scars, but some have them inside, while others have them outside... Not that she doubted that her sister had gone through mass amounts of emotional turmoil and trauma. She'd probably gone through hell in the process.
This didn't distract her, though. Wounds were wounds. If her sister moved to attack her - probably to train her, she thought - then she'd probably duck or dodge or something that involved getting away from said attack. The reason she thought her sister wasn't attacking for the sake of attacking? Well, mostly because they'd just eaten some nice yogurt... And from her observations on Emily, she doubted that the girl would attack her for no reason.

Emily wasn't showing her the scars, but basically the clothes that laid on the ground were now for Drea to wear. Or at least, for this fight.
"I do," Drea said, earning a nod from Emily.
"Very well then." Emily said, "Take those clothes I laid on the ground and wear them. They'll make you a bit stronger for this fight."
Emily would then wait until Drea had put on all her stuff.
Amos Bandana and "God Save the Queen" vest.
Her Lacrymosa Gloves.
The Black Butterfly Ring.
And finally, Odile's Black toeshoes.
"I'm interested in what your Qi does." She said, "If it is what I think it is, then it will definitely be very interesting, ne?"
OoC: Drea's got the OK from me to fight with my item bonues. :)
I will fight with Base stats. :)

Drea moved forward slowly - almost cautiously - to wear what Emily had stripped herself of. Within moments, she had on her sister's clothing... and felt quite different. It was as though she'd gained a boost in power.
"I'm interested in what your Qi does." she vaguely heard her sister speaking. "If it is what I think it is, then it will definitely be very interesting, ne?"
A test of her Qi, hm? That made things a bit more interesting. She took a couple steps back, feeling lighter all the while, and then, eyes still narrowed, remained stationary.
Since she'd no idea how to fight and had never taken any fighting classes, she guessed her best bet would be to go for the bat. However, seeing as this was to be beneficial for her - and seriously, Emily had already allowed her to borrow items - she wouldn't do that. Were it a typical enemy? Oh, hell yeah, she'd be goin' for that bat.
OOC:
Drea's Stats

Drea's Base Stats + Emily's Item Stats = Fight Stats
OMG, so different! O.O

Typical.
Drea was being cautious; well, almost too cautious. It seemed as if Emily would have to be the offensive this time around. Well, if she wanted to find out something, she would have to try and see Drea's defensive capabilities, right?
"First up, defense!" Emily said, "Ikuzo!"
Then, Emily would run forward, aiming to hit a punch right to Drea's gut. Interestingly, Emily would deliberately miss. Of course, she knew the possibility of Drea having absolutely no experience with fighting.
To have Drea be hit by her would be a whole lot painful. And besides, Emily more or less just wanted to see how this girl would try and defend herself.

"First up, defense!" Emily said, "Ikuzo!"
Drea flinched at the obviously heading-straight-for-her-Emily, and allowed a single word - Korean, from her time with her adopted parents to slip out: "뭐라고?!" It was her own incredulous form of 'What?!"
She jerked back, and, seeing the punch aimed for her stomach, darted to the side, not particularly wanting to get hit. As she did so, she unconsciously tensed her stomach, feeling a chill. Why did the air suddenly feel hotter?
What she didn't realize was that her Qi had unlocked, causing her to become colder. It had nothing to do with the atmosphere.
OOC:
Stats w/ Qi's .1 Magnifier
Strength: 45 Dexterity: 34*1.4= 47.6 > 48 Constitution: 25 Intelligence: 56 Wisdom: 17*1.2= 20.4 > 20 Charisma: 21
Drea's Stats * Qi Multiplier = Stats > Rounded Off

Emily smirked, allowing her fist to hit the grassy ground instead, leaving a decently sized crater on the dirt soil. "Nice one, sis." She said, "But!"
Having room now, Emily would pull her other hand to the ground and spin her legs clockwise. Kinda like the way Sailor Mercury does it in the Sailor Moon fighting game series. Emily was aiming to hit for Drea's leg.
With this proximity, and Emily's speed, how would Drea manage to survive this attack?
Well, maybe there was something up in Drea's sleeve?

Drea quickly calculated that her only escape would be to jump. On the other hand, it would leave her in the air, and defenseless - and easier to strike. She didn't have time to go backwards. She'd have to take the blow and retaliate.
Of course, her retaliation did come off a bit oddly.
Her leg, though it took the blow, didn't really hurt. She wondered if it was because her sister was going easy on her - and realized that her sister probably was going easy on her. Then she wondered why it didn't hurt as much - shock shouldn't have come in from such a simple blow, and with the speed Emily had been moving at, that should've hurt. Like a bitch. So why wasn't it hurting?
She put the matter out of her head as she used the struck leg as a base, stepping forward, after the blow to loose her other leg towards her sister, aiming to land the blow towards her sister's stomach, which would be open after the velocity of the kick was stopped by the successful blow.

"Ara ara~" Emily said, not seeing Drea flinch at all. So this was the power of her Qi? Most likely it absorbed attacks. A defensive qi.
A very powerful one at that. Interesting.
The question now would be how to get her down from her safe perch; how long does this said Qi last, really?
So allowing herself to be hit on the stomach (and albeit slightly flinching), the thought of slightly regretting having her borrow her items was there, but Emily didn't entertain it. Instead, Emily would then pull one hand upwards to grab the said foot. Naturally, Emily would lose her balance (purposely) as so the weight of her body would spin Drea's leg backwards, hopefully causing the younger sister to land on her back.
And where you ask?
Home base slate.
Ouch.

Drea wondered if her blow hadn't hurt when it connected with Emily, but made a face when she realized what Emily was planning to do. The combined weight of her own body as well as Emily's forced her backwards, where she belatedly realized a very solid looking plate was.
"No!" the cry fell out naturally - she sure as hell didn't want to be hurt.
Instead of flailing her arms, she moved them backwards. She planned to land on her elbows if not her hands, and upon landing, she'd ignore the impact - partly because she wouldn't feel it as well - and would roll, trying to free herself of Emily's grip. If it worked, she'd roll away from her sister. If not, she'd apply pressure to her sister's hand be at least moving her foot so that it was over Emily's hand and resting weight on it.

Ah, Drea had decent reflexes. That was a good thing that would eventually help her survive later on. It was something Emily had indeed wished that she have had when she got into 259. Maybe then she wouldn't have had suffered so much trying to test herself and prove her self-worthlessness wrong.
Try as Drea might, but Emily's grip was strong. She wouldn't allow her sister's foot to go free, nor did she allow the girl's foot to move. In fact, when Drea started rolling, Emily just held the foot tight. If she DID continue this said attempt, it is most likely that it would succeed at the cost of a very dislocated ankle.
And considering the amount of bones that there was in the ankle...
Yeah, you get the idea.
Should Drea stop as Emily had hoped, Emily would pull her sister's foot towards her, hopefully making her elbows make way for her head to hit the hard stone underneath.
What's wrong with experiencing some pain girl?

Drea froze as she realized her sister wasn't letting go - but that sudden jerk towards her did catch her off guard. In a last ditch attempt to avoid a concussion, she twisted a bit, landing more on her right shoulder than she did on her head. It definitely hurt - she knew she'd have one hell of a bruise there.
"Ow." she said, a bit dazed. After all, she'd avoided a strong blow to the head - that didn't mean she'd avoided the blow altogether. "That hurt." She commented.
She sat up, blinking spots out of her vision. She winced when she tried to move her shoulder. That hurt. Like a bitch. Worse than one, probably. She figured she might've fractured it a bit with the way that she'd landed, but thought that it was more likely a really, really big bruise. A very painful one.
It took a moment, but the movement came back to her. Yep, it was just bruised.
"Are we... done?" she asked her sister. The world was spinning... And why were the stars out in the middle of the day? "Ooooh. Pretty."
