Well, that was... quite easy, wasn't it?
"Are we... done? Ooooh. Pretty." Emily smiled and chuckled to herself, basically letting her sister go from her grip. It was obvious just how inexperienced her sister was with fighting. In general, it was something Emily would more or less relate to.
After all, she was similarly incapable around 2-3 years back, right?
"Yes, we're done." She would then try to help her sister up, propping her up with an arm. "Hopefully I didn't hurt you too bad?"

"Yes, we're done." Emily said, propping Drea up. "Hopefully I didn't hurt you too bad?"
Drea shook her head. "I'm fine," she said as the spots slowly left her vision. "I bet the hurt'll catch up to me later, though."
She smiled at her sister. "You're... Very strong. Where did you learn?"

"You're... Very strong. Where did you learn?"
Well, the answer was ironically simple. Emily had experience. No one really taught her how to fight. It was the repeated losses and absurdly numerous perils of High School life that had brought her this far in the ladder of the Violent Society of today's youth.
"I learned from experience." She said, "I guess I've been through a lot."
A lot would be an understatement at this point.
I mean.
Militia.
The Correctional Facility.
The Dragons.
The Enforcers.
Sin.
42.
... and perhaps that time when she was Captain.
Yeah. That more or less made her to who she was today.

"I learned from experience." her sister said, "I guess I've been through a lot."
"I see." Drea said. Her sister's words seemed to have some weight behind them, so she'd accept them at face value. "So... did we learn anything from this painful exercise?"
She began to strip off the equipment that her sister had allowed her to borrow, handing each individual piece back to Emily.
"Or am I getting bruises for no reason?" Drea grinned at Emily, showing there was no enmity in her words.

So... did we learn anything from this painful exercise?" Emily smiled, her arms crossed as she was given her gear back. She wouldn't wear them yet though, she just hung most of them by her shoulder for wearing later. "Or am I getting bruises for no reason?"
"Of course there's a reason." She said, "Your Qi is a fascinating defensive Qi. It's quite surprising. You're able to take my blows quite well with barely even flinching. That would mean you are either heavy, or your body is capable of absorbing them completely."
Her smile turned into a small frown as she talked further. "... Your Qi is quite powerful, even in it's current state right now." She sighed. "If people know about this ability of yours, you'll probably end up being drafted by someone you might not trust or like later on."
...
Yeah. That was usually the case in this gang-infested school.
"I'm not saying you hide it, but you should be careful to use it lest you want people to realize what it can do." She said.

Drea's eyes widened. So she did have a Qi! Though...
"... Your Qi is quite powerful, even in it's current state right now." her sister said. Drea faltered - was it so strong...? Was it a bad thing?
"If people know about this ability of yours, you'll probably end up being drafted by someone you might not trust or like later on."
Drea bit her lower lip. That meant things could get dangerous - and she certainly didn't want to pledge herself to anyone or anything she didn't believe in. On top of that... Well, she didn't want to have to do anything she didn't want to do.
"I'm not saying you hide it, but you should be careful to use it lest you want people to realize what it can do."
"No," she said, shaking her head. "We should hide it. It'll be our secret, okay? I don't want to be forced into doing anything I don't want to do."

Emily frowned for a second. In her sense of reason, any abilities of any kind should be used, but this girl was not power-hungry, and knew that she should respect the decision of her sister. She smiled after a while and placed a comforting hand on her sister's shoulder. "Very well." She said, "Just don't force yourself to hide it when you know it'll make a difference between life and death, alright?"
Emily was obviously very worried about her sister. "From here on, I want you to become stronger. Even with a Qi like this, it won't stand much of a chance against... certain individuals who I'm familiar with. For your sake, please do train."

Drea nodded seriously. There was no way she could keep her secret safe forever - but she at least wanted to master it to the point where she could use it more successfully and figure out all of the different elements of it before she took it into a fight... And quite honestly? She didn't particularly want to fight. She was only learning so as to keep from being a weakness.
"I believe Katsuri has a training session set up for some of the girls he knows. He's invited me, so I'll be getting in some practice later..." Drea looked at her sister a bit shyly. "And... You'll teach me, too, right?"
She wasn't sure if she should be asking or not, but she wanted to learn - she had to. And if she was learning from people she knew... she'd get a bit better, right?

Emily nodded. "Of course." She said, laughing a bit. "I'll teach you all I know. Just to warn you though: I'm still no good at this compared to some of the other people I know."
Emily would smile. "It's about time I get you home." Emily would then pick up their bags from the ground and hand Drea's bag over to the rightful owner. "Where do you live anyways?"
Yup, older sister Emily's gonna have to give Drea a walk.
XD

"I live over by..." she named location in the area where the notoriously and ridiculously wealthy lived. She smiled at her sister, mentally nodding to herself. Her parents weren't home, and the servants weren't likely to tell them about her sister - they'd keep her secret if she asked.
"It's nothing too fancy," she said. Of course, Drea, as a rule, had no idea of what was normal and what wasn't because of the way her adopted parents had treated her. All she knew was that she was fortunate to have been taken in by them, especially because she was always messing up and whatnot. They were, after all, quite lenient for her.

Emily blinked. No way.
Her sister was lucky enough to be adopted by notoriously rich parents, huh? Well, Emily just smiled at the realization and chuckled. "Well, I hope your parents won't mind me making you walk home." She said before starting on the walk.
Interestingly, almost every other person she knew owned these massive corporations and have these hugeass amounts of money they could throw around at will. That was unlike Emily, who had rejected David's entire fortune over her preference to work for her money.
Besides, Emily loved work - unlike most people.
"If you're going by car to school most of the time, I'd suggest just walking home." she said, "It would actually be good training for you; and no normal criminal really touches us 259ers. We're kinda notorious for violence within Long Beach."
Very notorious, at that.

"Of course they won't mind," Drea said, smiling. "They're very kind."
She heard her sister's suggestion and giggled at the understatement.
"Yes, that's a good idea. I'll probably keep walking to school, then."
She was content to chat with her sister until they got to her home... And there she'd bully her sister into a limo to take her home, even if it was out of her character.
