Personality: He is very cheerful, very happy, into having a little fun. He is very friendly, and likes getting to know people. Growing up in a christian home he became very involved with his church, but more so in some of the people who attended. Families who needed help at home, he helped them when he could. He got out into the world and chose to help people. He is a little too trusting because of his upbringing however, but he is definitely one to look for the good in people.

Description of style: Aikido is the style in which you cause as little damage as possible to yourself and your opponent. It is used to stop your opponent from attacking further and using their own momentum and force against them. Grabbing and pulling punches, wrapping up opponents, putting them in holds to keep them from moving, stuff like this. Although if he is forced to, Abel is capable of fighting dirty, and using whatever he can against an opponent.

History:
Grew up in a relatively poor family in New Orleans. He went to church a lot growing up with a large family, he was the middle child of five kids. He had two sisters and two brothers, and his mother stayed at home to take care of the house while his father worked in the factories. They were really not all that rich and couldn't afford beds, so Abel ended up making an old tub into a bed. Took quite a few pillows and blankets to do it, but now he's so used to the tub he doesn't sleep well in beds.
Abel went to church and became an active member of the community in his younger years, he'd help out with the student ministries, he'd help rebuild homes and take care of the elderly. He was a regular community volunteer and he was also an excellent student. He got good grades, studied hard, and was very good with math. But what really fascinated him were books. He loved books.
Of course, something happened here. Something always happens after all. Abel discovered he had an ability, and he studied his books time and time again and the only thing he could find was it's similarities to one of the stories. He could make an orb of glowing grey light, it kind of looked like a tiny moon, but he didn't know what it did, he just knew he could make it. So like an idiot he decided to show someone.
Of course, he couldn't trust just anyone with this so he showed his parents. They were amazed at first but then wondered if Abel had been cursed somehow. To make matters worse, Abel put the sphere in himself unaware of what it would do. The sphere made others fear him, and he didn't know this. His family called him cursed, damned, and threw stuff at him as they ran from him in fear. People started blaming him for things when his family exposed his secret, and before long people feared him and attacked him out of fear. He was blamed with some local robberies and even a few local murders. The town worked against him planting evidence. While his Qi may not have been active, the town had become too embarrassed to turn back now. Not to mention those who committed the actual crimes welcomed the set up.
So he was set up with a few murders, abandoned by his family, his town that he worked so hard to help, but in time he found out how to control his Qi, and he figured out what it did. He decided that he would train with the Qi in his free time, learning every detail he could. Of course, he was sent to a prison school in Alaska for his "Crimes" He hoped that he would have gathered more control over his Qi, that way he could get to know the people at this school and not send them running in fear of him.
Abel left the school in Alaska, lost and confused he traveled from school to school along the way, being transferred because none of the staff could stand him. He had become a religious nut hellbent on judging others and bringing them to God for judgement through means of murder. While he had only managed to kill a few, there was never any proof to his actions, and therefore school passed him around quickly to get rid of him until finally he was sent to Public High School 259.
During this time he had gone through a major reconstruction of Qi due to the complete mental damage he suffered. Become a Qi nullifier and claimed it was a gift to him from God to help him judge the wicked by taking away their devil's magic. He had become the very thing that got him in trouble in the first place in his mental break, much like the town had turned on him, so had he turned on others of his kind, those capable of utilizing Qi.
