Beginning

Hmmm, so he seemed to be gaining his bearing again, at least he was speaking in proper sentences. And he seemed to have caught on to the 'we' Chi proposed in her earlier sentence. She had simply thrown that in as a test, and he had caught it. But now he seemed to be asking for her help...did he truly know what she was capable of? Of course not, he simply saw a nice girl that could help him get over his shyness, this was almost too good to pass up. Chi leaned on the glass wall of the office, clutching her books to her chest in a casual almost crossing arms sort of way, a smirk playing about her lips.

"Are you assuming I'm going to help you, Tai?"

[Tai]

Tai seemed to gain his cool, and stop acting like such an idiot. He stood still and silent as Chi leaned over on the glass beside her, when he then just remembered they were beside the office. She smirked, like usual.
"Are you assuming I'm going to help you, Tai?"
"..." Tai was silent for a moment. Then replied, "... are you?" A grin filled his face, for once in a lifetime. He straightened the backpack that hung off his shoulder, he then realized he could barely feel his shoulder anymore. But he didn't mind it. Right now, he was in need of some serious help.

Chi pretended to consider this for a moment, putting on a thoughful expression. To help the pathetic or not to help? She probably would end up corrupting the boy, doing more harm than good, but what was she to care? Though he was now grinning, she could tell that he was still quite nervous. After a moment, the smirkl returned, and her chocoalte eyes glinted as she opened her mouth to speak.

"Sure."

She said simply with a shrug. With a price.. Ahh, she was too terrible, but the kid more or less left himself open for victimization. And he would eventually overcome his shyness, it just won't be easy for him. Bwhaha. Jolting herself from her maniacal thoughts, she turned attention back to the boy in front of her, her smile fading in intensity to a mild smile.

"Umm, but I think maybe you should get your school things straightened out first."

She said, inclining her head toward the office slightly. This Tai boy seemed to be jumping ahead of himself. Oh well, that's what she was here for. Hah.

[Tai]

Tai's mind took a sigh of relief.
He didn't show any more of his stupidity, though, and stood still as Chi accepted. He then, alerted, and pushed himself back into reality as she spoke again. "Oh, yes ... my ... things." He muttered beneath his breath.
He walked forward and took a final glance at Chi before he pulled the door to the office open and walked in. She was a nice girl, he thought. But poor for him, he was much to shy to admit it. He hated himself.
He spent a while in the office, he estimated about 20 minutes. Then he returned into the hall were Chi was still standing. He held a rolled up paper in his hand and a key. He smiled. "Okay. Class is starting soon." He told her.

Boy, he was taking a long time, Chi tapped her foot as she leaned on the wall. She flashed a few smiles to certain passing students, even engaging in conversation with some. Who could blames her? She was a naturally social person. When Tai returned, she was conversing with an upperclassmen boy with curly reddish hair. Hearing the door open, the freshman looked over, spotting Tai and flashing a half grin before saying goodbye to her friend.

"New student, I'm showing him around."

She waggled her fingers in a cute sorta wave as the boy continued on his way after raising his own eyesbrows curiously in an 'oh really? poor kid,' kinda of way. She turned her attention back to Tai, adjusting the books in her arms.

"Alright then, what's your first class?"

[Tai]

When Tai came out of the office, Chi was talking with some upperclassman. His eyes narrowed, and he overheard Chi saying she was showing Tai around. Tai bit his lip, and got a tad bit angry with the situation. "Yeah! She's showing me around, now get lost ya' sonny bo--..." he outbursted, and then as Chi turned back to him, he winced, "um ... my first class is Algebra." He put on a timid smile as the redheaded guy walked away. "Heh..." he said. "Now ... where were we?"

Chi quirked an eyebrow at the boy's outburst, a hint of anger showing in her expression. Her eyes narrowed slightly and her voice was even as she spoke.

"Continue to talk like that and you'll be making enemies quite quickly, and I wouldn't advise it."

She wasn't defending the boy that just walked away, but in speaking up like he did, he had just taken possesion of her, and no one possessed Chihiro Amuri. Ever. She was her own independent person and could talk to who she pleased. After a moment her expression lightened, her anger fading away to her calm cool exterior once again. She took a breath, then pondered what class he had just said.

"Algebra? That's just down the hall from my first class, this way."

And they were off again down the hallway, passing by students as they milled about.

[Tai]

"Continue to talk like that and you'll be making enemies quite quickly, and I wouldn't advise it."
Tai bit his lip, and didn't make a reply. He then followed her down the hall, hands tucked in his pants pockets still, and took a breath as she had said, "Algebra? That's just down the hall from my first class, this way." "Eh..." he said. "Class doesn't start until another half-hour."

Chi's memoent of anger seemed to have slienced Tai. It was to be expected, as the girl had a pretty hot temper, it wasn't advisable to cross her either. The sad part had been that her warning had been the just the tip of her anger iceberg, she could get far worse if she wanted to, and far more dangerous. Turning to the boy she quirked an eyebrow at him at his comment.

"Since you're new here, you might want to be a little early. Or else I could show you your other class locations as long as they're within these few adjacent hallways, I don't feel like trekking all over the school."

They had come to a stop in the hallway, Chi adjusted the books in her arms while the new kid decided what he wanted to do.

[Tai]

Tai was quite intimidated as Chi turned and quirked her brow at him. He nearly fell off his heels. He was quite relieved when she hadn't done anything
He listened to her speak. "Um..." Tai mumbled as he thought, "class starts in thirty minutes, so I pick option A." he said. "-and yes, they are like ... nearby..." he slowly said. "Heh."

Chi simply looked even more confused as the boy practically fell over again. He was going to take some work if he ever wanted to fit in here. The girl sighed, turning back again as they continued down the hall, stopping outside the third doorway on their left.

"Here it is, Algebra."

She said, with the flourish of an arm like the lady from the Wheel of Fortune...what was her name? White, something...anyway, now wasnt the time to dwell on idle thoughts. She tucked a strand of her hair behind her ear as she looked at the boy.

[Tai]

"Algebra ... ?" Tai said, almost sure he agreed to being showed to the other locations. Then he recalled himself saying `Option A`, when he meant to say `Option B`. He sighed, and decided over it and opened the door into the empty classroom. "So, is Algebra your first class as well?" he asked, biting his tongue. "Yeah ... I mean... yeah.... yeah...." he gulped.

Chi grinned, shaking her head, long black tresses falling over her shoulders with the movement.

"Sorry, I have English right now, just two doors down. But maybe we'll have a class together, and if you play your cards right, maybe I'll allow you to sit by me."

She laughed with a wink. Ahhh, she was terrible.

Tai nodded as Chi shook her head, listening carefully as she spoke. "Alright," he said, stepping through the doorway, hand on its knob. "Catch ya' later." Tai smirked as he winked, and closed the door as she started down the hall.
