Reira had a terrible glare on her face. No sleeping in today, hell there wasn’t even five extra minutes. Demetri and Mischa had dragged her ass out of bed and sat her down on the couch, both of them staring at her like a child being scolded. Reira, still being half awake, looked up at the two of them, rubbing one of her eyes. It felt like a freaking interrogation. Mischa held out these funny looking papers to her face. Demetri then spoke. “No more procrastination kiddo,” he said, drinking his coffee. “I know where he lives now, so you get this done today.” With a defeated groan, Reira fell back on the couch, accepting the inevitable. ~~~ Taking her sweet ass time with a shower and getting ready, Reira dressed in a casual outfit. Her hair was in loose ringlets and she smelled of a sweet scent. She wanted this to have a business approach to it. Why? Well she knew they had both moved on, there was no doubt about that. And she felt that if she took this as nothing more but business, then she wouldn’t be risking the chance of her getting attached again. After all, she did leave Matrim on good terms. In fact she left him a little after they got married, and to put it simply, in love. But a good portion of time had passed, Reira was a brand new person, and had moved on. It was time to cut some ties. Hand running through her hair, she sighed, as she stood in front of Matrim’s front door. She had been there for a while, thinking she was ready to knock on the door, but finding herself pulling her hand back. It just had to be this hard huh. Scowling at herself, she finally just knocked. Hopefully she’d be in this place, and out in a span of ten or so minutes. Going over what she would say, she waited for someone to answer the door. FML.

Sara, wearing just a simple pair of jeans and a t-shirt, snuck into Shayne's room after a quick glance up and down the hallway. She still wasn't sure she was allowed to be doing this, but from inside she could hear Shayne cooing and gurgling. So he was up. Thus, she must be allowed to play with him! ! The room was in semi-darkness as she moved to the edge of the crib and peeked over the side. Shayne looked up at her, confused, but then smiled and giggled, reaching for her. God he was so damn cute D< She picked him up, holding him against her chest, his head near hers as she walked from the room. Heading towards the stairs, she rubbed his back gently as a loud knocking suddenly came from the entrance downstairs. "Who...? I'll get it!" She reached the foot of the stairs danced with Shayne over to the door, turning the knob and pulling it open. With a huge smile on her face she turned to the person at the door. And then stopped dead. O______________________O Dead... haha... ! Wait what? " "Reira?" Oh no... Oh hell no. Sara's eyes opened wide, her mouth opened and closed as she fought to speak. This... can't be happening. Impossible. Sara knew, to an extent that she was crazy. But this? This was to much. Then, deciding this was to much for her poor mind, she simply closed the door and walked away, pretending it had never happened. She grabbed Shayne's little hand and smiled down at him, kissing his head as she moved into the kitchen.

Knock on the door? I should go see who it--
"Who...? I'll get it!"
Ahh Sara's got it.. still, maybe I should see who it is....
Matrim started to head downstairs around the time the door had been opened, when he looked over he saw it shut and Sara simply walk away from the door... it seemed as if she had seen a ghost or something. In any case, he started to go for the door, and he could hear Gale coming downstairs too. He opened it to see Reira, standing there... alive....
I've gone insane....
Matrim quickly shut the door with the most wide eyed expression ever, turning to walk toward the kitchen with his eyes remaining full open.
"Who in the hell keeps opening and closing all these doors? What if Shayne were sleeping huh?" Gale called out, knowing Sara or Matrim had Shayne since he was no longer in his room. She walked downstairs and also called out, "Also Sara, the Tivo's started automatically recording shows it thinks we like based on what we watch, just thought you should know."
She opened the door to see a girl she had recognized but she couldn't place it. She knew of Reira obviously, but she didn't put the connection there right away, "Did they shut the door on you? I know you.... from somewhere... can I help you?"

The brunette didn’t have to wait long until someone answered the door. To say the least, she was expecting Matrim not this girl and a baby. Whoa wait, back up there. Reira’s scrutinizing cerulean eyes bore down upon the girl and the child. At first she didn’t know who the girl was, but after some thought she remembered her to be Sara. How could she forget that one? She continued to stare, her eyes unfaltering. She was planning on Matrim to have answered the door, not Sara, so for a moment she didn’t know what to say exactly. Sara slammed the door in her face. How lovely. She sighed.
Matrim and Sara had a kid?….Wheeeeeew dodged a bullet there!! Cute kid, though.
Knocking again, a little more forcefully than before, Reira waited. Her foot stomped impatiently on the floor. She came here to get this done and there was no way she was going back home signature-less. If she did, her Uncle would ape shit and that was something she didn’t want. Coffee’d up or not. “I just need to talk--Oh hey Matrim.” Slam. Oh for fuck sakes! Okay, now she was really starting to get sick of this. So much for remaining calm and acting civil. Taking a step back, Reira was getting ready to kick down the door. Yeah..extreme, but at least they wouldn’t be able to slam it in her face again.
Heeled foot raised, with a mad look in her eyes, she was all ready to go when the door opened again. Standing in front of her this time was a large, robust women. A maid maybe? In any case, at least she was getting somewhere. Putting her foot down, she gave a fake smile. The women spoke a few words and the irritated Reira reached a hand in her purse and showed the women the papers.
“Yeah, I need to get these signed. It’s a little important, wouldn’t you say? I suggest you let me in.”
Not waiting for the okay, she moved around Gale and stood in the doorway. Making herself right at home, she walked into the kitchen, heels clicking in that confident stride of hers. Reira entered the kitchen and saw Matrim and Sara. “Hi,” she said in an eerily pleasant tone. “Been a while. Mind signing this.” The divorce papers were slammed on the table. “Need a pen? I can supply that too.”

Sara snorted as Gale called out about the Tivo. Stupid Tivo. She would need to learn how to... Oh screw it, Sara would just destroy the damn Tivo box. She turned as Matrim walked into the kitchen after her and took in the wide eyed look on his face. She hugged Shayne closer to her. There was no way this was happening. Reira was dead. D-E-A-D. This wasn't happening. Wasn't. Absolutely not. “Hi.”O____O Sara clutched Shayne closer to her chest as Reira walked into the kitchen. This isn't happening... I'm seeing things...! No you're not. This is awesome. Some new drama. There's always drama! It's epic!I don't want drama... This isn't happening...“Been a while. Mind signing this. Need a pen? I can supply that too.”"Matrim? I uh... Oh god... Shit..." Sara turned to Matrim with a sick smile on her face. "I don't feel so good. I think I need to lay down...." With that, she moved to walk from the kitchen, Shayne still clutched to her chest. At the last second, she changed her mind and turned back, this time more angry as she tried to ignore the woman in the kitchen. "You said Reira was dead right?"

“Yeah, I need to get these signed. It’s a little important, wouldn’t you say? I suggest you let me in.”
"Oh, you're her... thought you were dead," Gale said, stepping aside. Letting the girl come through. She didn't want to get in the way of this reunion. She couldn't tell why the girl was alive, but it didn't mean anything to her. So long as she still got her paycheck.
“Hi, Been a while. Mind signing this. Need a pen? I can supply that too.” Reira said, slamming papers down. Matrim leaned back against a cabinet, crossing his arms and studying her closely.
"Matrim? I uh... Oh god... Shit... I don't feel so good. I think I need to lay down.... You said Reira was dead right?"
"Witnessed her die myself," Matrim said, not sure how he felt about it, but one thought ran through his mind, "How do I know you aren't Marquise?" He said quickly, "How do I know you're Reira.... I saw you die. I'm happy to see that you're alive if you are but... you were dead... how is this possible?"

Both of Reira’s hands were clenching the table, as she sighed heavily and looked to the kitchen floor. Believe me, she wasn’t having any more fun than these two. So much for doing this all under ten minutes, it looks like she had some explaining to do. Muttering some incoherent words, she once again looked at Matrim. She was going to beat Demetri, for the twentieth time for faking her death. As if that wasn’t bad enough, Matrim asked her some ridiculous questions.
"How do I know you aren't Marquise? How do I know you're Reira.... I saw you die. I'm happy to see that you're alive if you are but... you were dead... how is this possible?"
Did he just ask her if she was Marquise? Wasn’t that a little silly? She knew that he had appeared before him as herself before, which sucked, but still, how many vampires go around looking for a divorce? Reira was trying really hard to keep her cool. It wasn’t easy for her either to see Matrim again, all happy with his new little family. But as stated previously, she was a new person, with a new life.
“Yeah Matrim,” she said sarcastically. “I’m Marquise, a big bad vampire and I’m going to destroy this house, oh and while I’m doing that, I want you to sign these divorce papers, cause that’s what vampires do, they get divorced.”
Reira ran a hand through her hair and shook her head. She had to calm down. It would all be done. It just needed more time. Perhaps she could place her limit to fifteen minutes?
“Demetri faked my death. He had be put under a medically induced coma…which made me seem dead I suppose. Then he had my body shipped to Venice where I have been for the six months…though I’ve been having memory problems…anyways, I’m sorry, just please sign. It’s for the best.”
It was a short and sweet explanation. If he asked her further she would try her best to answer his question, but she didn't know how clear she could be. Yay for amnesia.

Sara watched as Reira got more and more angry. She was obviously real right? Sara wasn't losing her mind? If Matrim was talking to her as well, then Sara couldn't be crazy. She was actually alive. After everything, she was still alive. After everything Sara and Matrim had been through after her death to reach this point, she was back. Sara wanted to curl up in a corner and die. Could she have nothing in life? Every time she was happy, something had to come along like this and ruin it. OK... Not like this. Sara had never seen anyone come back from the dead before... " At least she hoped so... But she wasn't crazy right? >_>" “…anyways, I’m sorry, just please sign. It’s for the best.”Sara stepped forward, cautiously glancing at Matrim, no longer intent on leaving. "It's a divorce you want then? You can't have him..." She held Shayne slightly closer against her chest and turned to the side protectively, sending an apologetic look at Matrim. She didn't know how he felt about this, but she knew how she felt, and she damn well wasn't getting him. Hell, Matrim would have to rip the arms off her before even he got Shayne from her. "If it's just a divorce though, then fine. Matrim, sign the papers." Sara was scared, afraid of losing everything she had gained since Reira had died. If Matrim still cared for Reira, then Sara was going to be out of the picture, out of a home, and out of a family. The look she sent Matrim said it all. 'Sign it, or I'm gone.' The look she then sent Reira also said it all. 'Touch ma baby and I kill you' D< D<<<< [ZOMG I love drama =3, I feel like this is such a soap opera]

"It's a divorce you want then? You can't have him..." Sara said, and Matrim wasn't completely sure whether she meant Shayne or Matrim. In any case, Reira didn't give much attention to Shayne from what he could see. It didn't settle well with Matrim, but if she wasn't going to give a damn about her own child, he would sign her damn papers and be done with it.
Matrim picked up the papers and would read, making sure there was absolutely nothing on them about custody of Shayne, (OOC: I'm assuming there is nothing about custody on these? If not let me know and I'll edit my post.) after seeing that custody wasn't mentioned he'd quickly say, "Here," Matrim would sign everywhere he needed to, "Alex is alive." He'd say as he did so, and then hand the papers back to her, "It's good to know that the people from my past have a habit of coming back to life. Hopefully when Luke comes back he won't be suing me for all the inheritance I've spent. Maybe Samara will come back and demand her ring back, who knows."
It was a low blow, but she was being incredibly rude toward him and he didn't appreciate it. It was just bad manners to come back to life like that and have a divorce paper be the first thing you see from them.

Sara was the first to speak after Reira’s little rant. Yes. She wanted the divorce, nothing more. In fact, she was a slightly confused when Sara had mentioned the baby, as she held him away from her like a protective mother. There was also a small threat in the smaller girl’s stare. Reira just looked at her like she was out of her mind. Strange. Sara was almost seemed afraid that she would take the child from her. Reira was selfish at times, but to take away Sara’s own child from her was ridiculous. That wasn’t her kid, adorable as he was.
Still…there’s something about the baby that’s just so…familiar…almost as if…
Her chain of though was interrupted as she watched Matrim begin to sign the papers. Thank god. Now she could carry on with her life without the past haunting her. Her deed done, she had to admit that she was a little pushy, maybe slightly rude too. But it wasn’t in her nature to apologize. Taking the signed papers from Matrim, she put them safely back into her purse.
“Thank you,” she said sincerely, ignoring the comment he made about her mother. It was done. There was no real reason for her to be here now. She hated how upfront she had to be, but she felt that she needed to be like that in order to truly break away. They were a family now and there was no sense in lingering. Turning towards the door, she stopped and looked at Sara. A small smile spread across her lips.
“What’s your son’s name? He’s adorable!”

Sara let out a sigh of relief as Matrim signed the papers. He had looked them over and she was sure he wouldn't have signed anything that had to do with Shayne. As soon as this was done, Sara was going to be looking into becoming a guardian to the child. The shock was still there at seeing Reira standing in their kitchen. The fear, even though the forms were signed, was still bubbling inside her that at any moment, her life was going to crash down around her, and Matrim and Reira would skip off into the sunset like they had last time. But instead, Reira turned to leave. A relieved smile touched Sara's lips. For now, she was safe. She and Matrim would have a lot to talk about, but it was ok. They would get through this. And then... “What’s your son’s name? He’s adorable!” Sara froze. What? " "His name...?" Sara looked from the child to Reira. If Matrim hadn't laid down the rules the moment she stepped into this house, Sara would have slapped Reira. ! HAHA! Checkmate! MIEN! *eye twitch* ! "I know he's adorable. His name is Shayne. And I love him." *eye twitch* Without another word or glance to either Reira or Matrim, Sara left the kitchen, moving into the living room and out the door to the back yard. The backyard was covered in cool shade as Sara dropped into a lawn chair cooing at Shayne as he giggled up at her. So sweet. So unaware of what was happening. God, she envied him.

“Thank you,” Reira said, taking the papers. She started to turn away but stopped to say something, “What’s your son’s name? He’s adorable!”
"His name...?" Sara said and Matrim's eyes widened a little as he looked at Shayne. It explained a lot, but he wasn't sure if he should tell her or let her find out on her own, "I know he's adorable. His name is Shayne. And I love him."
And with that she left the room, and Matrim was left in an awkward position as Gale went upstairs, giving Matrim a look that said 'tell her' when he knew he didn't have it in him to do so. Not yet anyway.....
"I love her," He said. He didn't know why, he just needed to say it, "But what I can't figure out is... why you are asking for this right away. How did you know where I live? Do you really hate me so much for finding somebody else? Is that what this is about?"

Shayne huh? Reira liked that name, always had, and probably always would. It suited the little boy. The brunette would then smile and wave three fingers at the child, as Sara stole him away…leaving Matrim and herself alone in the kitchen. God damn it. Well she was leaving anyway. All she had to do was say her final farewell and walk out the door. According to her mental clock it had been fourteen minutes and thirty seconds. Woot, she could still make her time.
"I love her."
Reira blinked, and then looked over her shoulder at him. Okay then. How nice. She was leaving now ---- never mind, no she wasn’t. Matrim had bombarded her with questions. Ones that she didn’t know if she felt obligated to answer. Honestly, she was just tired of all this shit. Obviously he had taken her death perfectly fine to have gotten back together with the girl he cheated on her with, started a family, and were currently living large. So, divorce sound just great to her.
“I know you love her,” she said, an unknown tone in her voice. “Which is why I’m getting a divorce.” She couldn’t help but laugh at the part of him accusing her of hating him. More like, she forgot about him…literally. There was a dark glaze about her eyes. “I’m not the same person you think you know, Matrim. I came back different. And in a normal situation, if I found out my husband went and found the girl he cheated on his wife with, immediately after his wife died…and had a kid with that girl, I’d hate you.” She chuckled casually. “"But now--she nodded in disappointment--”You’re just Matrim Gallagher. Just another boy.”
She gave him one last look, and once again began to walk towards the door. The door flew open and she took one step out, but turned around to say one last thing before she entirely disappeared. “Have a great life,” she said, blowing him a kiss. Then, she was gone.
~~~
Demetri Marino watched as his niece left Matrim’s apartment. As soon as she was out of sight, he immediately shot out of his hiding spot and stopped the door from closing with a quick flick of his foot. In a pristine, expensive looking white suit, Demetri greeted Matrim. “Hey kiddo,” he said, cigarette unlit in his mouth. "Thought it was necessary to send Reira over here to pay you a little visit. I also think this is necessary as well.” From behind his back, he gave Matrim a piece of paper, a birth certificate. One that read:
Name: Shayne Tristan Gallagher Name of Father: Matrim Arwen Gallagher Name of Mother: Sara Quinn
“It’s for the best, I’m sure. My niece isn’t ready to be a mother and I’d rather have her where she has no recollection of the little tyke. I trust you’ll raise him just fine on your own.” Demetri watched him carefully, trying to see his expression. “How? I have money. I suggest you get rid of any other ‘old’ copies of Shayne's birth certificate, for they are invalid now.” With a nod, Demetri also took his exit, not once looking back.
(End of Reira and Demetri’s Participation in Thread)
He nodded, "Fair enough." He didn't feel like going into it right here and right now.
“Have a great life,” She said. And he thought the same toward her but didn't say it, simply letting her go. That is until someone showed up....
“Hey kiddo, Thought it was necessary to send Reira over here to pay you a little visit. I also think this is necessary as well.” Demetri said and Matrim, not shaking at all at the sign of Demetri, took the paper.
"I hope you know I'm tempted t'kill you, but I won't try anywhere within a mile of Shayne," Matrim said quickly, whether or not the guy was listening.
“It’s for the best, I’m sure. My niece isn’t ready to be a mother and I’d rather have her where she has no recollection of the little tyke. I trust you’ll raise him just fine on your own. How? If he was that determined then it'd be a simple matter of..... Solaris would never lend him a penny on second thought.
Matrim walked toward the back yard, shutting the door. He would walk through the back yard and say, "Congratulations it's a boy," Matrim handed Sara the birth certificate, "A little present from Reira's uncle to you and me."
