He seems to generally enjoy his work of relieving other's pain through the work of acupuncture. However, this is merely the face he shows to the world. The more that people get to know him, the more odd idiosyncrasies seem to appear. There is a certain... deadness to his eyes. His word seem... wooden, with hidden, insulting under-meanings.
And although he seems to enjoy relieving pain, the opposite is the truth. Archimedes is a sadist through and through. To hear a person scream in pain is the personification of bliss for him.

Standing at a rather tall six foot two inches, Archimedes is very thin and lithe, with most of his body showing this. His hair reaches down to just below the bottom of his neck, though he keeps it tied back to make sure that it does not interfere with his sight. His facial features are rather sharp, with his eyes and lips both being thin.
He does not have very defined musculature, though this does not mean that he is out of shape. His long limbs move gracefully, with deliberate movements. There is no excess, as is needed for anyone that works in acupuncture.

History: Born to Amaretta and Dr. Ignacius Cross, Archimedes was the only son of the family line of acupuncture specialists. Introduced to the art from a young age, his parents were pleased to see the young boy picking up quickly on the art. His hands moved to the proper points only after learning where they were located once. Exceptionally gifted at the art, his parents put him to work at the clinic when he turned ten.
However, what his parents did not realize was exactly WHY Archimedes enjoyed sticking needles in people. That little bit of pain that people felt before relief called to the young boy. The mistakes that he made during his training were mostly on purpose, the screams of pain coming from them causing the boy to laugh silently in delight.
After a time, Archimedes realized that there was a fighting style that could be used like acupuncture, causing large amounts of pain with precise, quick strikes. He began studying the art of pressure point manipulation, testing it on hapless bullies that attacked him, seeing the meek boy as an easy mark. Archimedes found it to be brutally effective, spending all the time he could on the style, whenever he wasn't working in his family's acupuncture clinic or at school.
