Knowing full well that the Maid cafe would be out for a few weeks due to the renovations being made to the store, Emily took the liberty of taking a paid vacation so she could also concentrate on working at the Hospital, at least for a bit.
Considering the rumors that Layla Clavering had indeed come back from England, well... it would be only a matter of time before she would have freedom to do what she wanted to do in this.
For today, she was put in charge of a Pre-natal care unit while the OB-Gyne was out to eat her lunch. Yeah, leave it all to the student nurse, right?
Emily sighed and prepared her stethoscope and her spygnomanometer while waiting for the next client to come in. Yeah, she should be getting quite a fat paycheck by the next week if she kept this up.

And who bette to be the next client than Kevala? Given her current state it was a no duh moment. Heh. So here she was, her stomach seeming to be the size of a woman about two months further along that she actually was. But when you have triplets growing inside you and their father was Katsuri Katashi, this is what was to be expected.
Her long black hair falling down around her slender...er....well technically it was just her belly which was bigger, so yeah, slender worked.
She was wearing a pair of black pants and a dark purple shirt with little skulls on it. Leave it to Katsuri to find her clothes that fit her and yet were in her preferred style.
Of course her big fit she had thrown which had everyone in the house running for cover and had her throwing his clothes out of his house probably had something to do it.
What was it about?
Somebody ate the last poptart and she was ready to kill them all. Heh..
Entering the room her icy hues fell upon the girl she had seen around before. .....The one who looked like Drea....who was being such a great help with this all.....Emily she thought but right now she would not stake her life on it.
Her hand resting on her stomach as she offered a soft smile and a nod in her direction.
"Hello"

Emily looked around to look at the girl whom her sister showed a great deal of care for. That pregnant girl, what was her name again? Kevala? Yeah. That was it.
Emily would hang the sthetoscope by her neck and smiled. Well, it wasn't really everyday that a person from school winds up inside a Maternal clinic for a check-up. This student nurse knew her responsibilities well, and apparently had decent training despite having not being able to finish College or High School yet.
"Hello" Emily smiled.
"Kevala, right?" She said, "I heard your name from Drea. I didn't expect that you come to this clinic." Emily would then back off a bit, giving Kevala room to walk through and be seated by the examination bed.
There, Emily would be see browsing a drawer for a file probably.
"Do you have your Mother and Child Chart with you?" She said, "If you don't have one yet we could fill one out for you."
...
"By the way, I don't think we've properly met." She looked behind her towards the pregnant girl and smiled, "Name's Emily. I'm Drea's sister."

She would smile a bit and move to take her seat upon the table, her hand still resting upon her stomach as she listened.
"No, I do not have one. I fear life has been a bit....hectic lately"
She shook her head. That was such an understatement was it not? Letting her eyes drift about the room she would continue to listen. A smile coming to her lips once more as the girl introduced herself.
"Yes, I have heard Katsu and Drea talking about you. Drea has been such a help to me. She has kept Katsuri from certain death many times."
She laughed softly as she thought about the many times she had actually thought of killing the big man. Heh. The others would have to wait in line.
"Oh and I am sorry. Yes, it is Kevala...Forgive me. My brain is a little off as of late."
Again, another understatement. She had three personalities and a mental disease that made her drink blood. Nah, that was nothing serious.

"No, I do not have one. I fear life has been a bit....hectic lately" Emily nodded and took an empty file and several forms up at another drawer, then heading off to the Doctor's table nearby for a pen before giving it out to Kevala.
"Fill this out." Emily would take her own pen and make check marks on the name, address, age, birthdate, and the first day of her last menstration. "After you fill these out you should check these boxes, these will tell the doctor your family's medical history. If you don't know about it, it's alright. If you've got any questions, feel free to ask, alright?"
Emily then was dragging a standing spygnomanometer nearer to her client when Kevala spoke once more. "Yes, I have heard Katsu and Drea talking about you. Drea has been such a help to me. She has kept Katsuri from certain death many times."
"I see." So Drea has been talking about her, huh? Interesting. It was nice to know that her sister has been a good influence to her fellow students; almost touching to know that Em and Drea were both students who believed in altruism.
"Oh and I am sorry. Yes, it is Kevala...Forgive me. My brain is a little off as of late."
"A little off?" Emily said, mentioning for Kevala to slip her arm into the spygnomanometer's sleeve. "Have you been feeling dizzy or lightheaded?"

She raised her brow slightly. It did not occur to her that other people did not know of her mental issues. Sighing softly, she would let her words come. Only because she was sure it had some kind of importance to the pregnancy.
"No, not that. I...I have a condition known as Rienfields Syndrome. It..makes my body believe that I require blood to survive.
I also suffer from split personality disorder."
She winced a bit at the words. She hated other people to know she had more than one her living inside her mind. People tended to look down upon that.
Sighing soflty she would start to fill out the page offered to her. Her hand coming up to tuck a bit of hair back behind her ear as she chewed lightly on her lower lip.
Those icy hues casting a glance up every now and then to check for reaction to her "conditions". The last thing she needed was a problem with her condition affecting her treatment for the pregnancy. That would just be the worst luck ever.

"No, not that. I...I have a condition known as Rienfields Syndrome. It..makes my body believe that I require blood to survive.
I also suffer from split personality disorder."
Ah, that was something this little Student Nurse never really encountered before, well the Rienfield's syndrome that is. Emily had a split personality as well, and fought really hard to control her own monsters. Upon further observation, this girl was probably also a little anxious about having people know about these.
But she just smiled. "Don't worry. You're not the only one." She said, taking Kevala's free, non-writing hand and using it to measure her blood pressure. Emily made sure the cuff fit snugly above her elbow, and played a bit with the release valve. "I have a split personality as well, and believe me a lot of our schoolmates have them as well." She smiled, beginning to pump air into the cuff until it reached 180 before she slowly released the air.
"100/80." She announced softly before taking the cuff off Kevala's arm and writing it down on another form by Kevala's chart. "And... don't tell Drea, but I have this condition where I have this urge to gnaw on human flesh. Borderline cannibalistic tendencies..."
Emily winced as she trailed off; Why the heck did she just reveal that? But well, Kevala told her her condition; why not share her own condition, right?
"... I don't... really feel proud of it, unless you count the fact that I've been doing my best to control my urges." She smiled, "Drinking blood shouldn't be that much of a problem for the baby; just be careful that you don't get hepatitis from it."
Yeah, she could totally relate to this girl.
"Mind telling me the first day of your last menstruation?" She said, "I'll use it to compute for the date when you should expect to be confined in the Hospital for."

She listened to Emily as she spoke. Nothing really took her as shocking anymore. She would just nod and and smile softly as she watched her. Finishing the chart she handed it to her.
"The dates are on there. Though I know I am not as far along as I appear. It is the three little ones inside of me making me this large. Not to mention Katsuri being their father."
She almost whimpered. Yeah, she had known it was going to be a painful process and all, but she really did not mind it as much as she seemed to. She would have her babies in the end and that was enough. Sighing softly she would run her hand over her stomach as she cast a glance back to Emily.
"It is hard having two personalities that would be rid of your love or your child at any moment. If one is not trying to get away from Katsu for fear of him, the other is trying to kill the life inside me."
Shaking her head she would again lower her eyes. A small tremble running through her as she continued.
"Not to mention those who wish to harm me to get to Katsuri. Arthur and Ga...."
She cut herself off. Not about to go any further. She was too open sometimes.

"The dates are on there. Though I know I am not as far along as I appear. It is the three little ones inside of me making me this large. Not to mention Katsuri being their father."
Emily blinked. First off - whoah, triplets? Well, it wasn't much of a surprise considering that she and Drea were twins. Second, Katsuri was the father? Hmm, interesting news. Very, very interesting news.
But yeah, Emily's mind was more on the triplets thing. That would mean that she would have to undergo a C-section. Despite this, Emily continued to listen.
"It is hard having two personalities that would be rid of your love or your child at any moment. If one is not trying to get away from Katsu for fear of him, the other is trying to kill the life inside me."
Emily looked down a bit. Yeah, typical things that people with multiple personalities such as them worry about. Em on the other hand had pharmacological relief for that, but she didn't know on what could be done for Kevala. After all, she was just a Student Nurse, not a Doctor.
"Please lie flat on your back at the table and pull up your shirt so we can see your belly." From there, Emily prepped the doppler machine, spreading some jelly on the metal plate. "Though, at least you're aware of your alternate egos and what they could do. Some people aren't lucky as us to be aware."
As soon as Kevala did as she was told, Emily would start doing the Leopolds manuver, basically palpating the fundus then looking for a place to find the fetal pulse.
After finding it, Emily would place the doppler machine by the left side of her belly - where a really fast heartbeat would resound through the speakers. It was the pulse of at least one or two of her babies.
"Not to mention those who wish to harm me to get to Katsuri. Arthur and Ga...."
"Gabriel? I'm not surprised."
Well, she only assumed Gabriel out of assosiation, and she has seen Katsuri with Gabriel before. Like that time Gabriel was given the position of "School Captain" and all.
Yeah...

She laid back onto the table. A light sigh as she nodded. Her hands coming up to rest under her head as she looked up to the ceiling.
"Yes. I am sure there are more who wish to hurt him or use him. I just have to stay away from people he says. It is not safe."
She had yet to tell Katsuri about the thing with Gabriel. Of course even if she wished to, he was so busy as of late that she did not have time.
Hell he was still unaware that there were three young in her belly instead of just the one as they had originally planned upon. He also did not know that one of those within her was his son and the other two his daughters. At the rate this was going, she would end up having them before she ever got to tell him.
Oh yes, she could see that happening. He comes home one day and there are three cribs and one very bitchy Kevala. heh.....
But for now she let her mind wander to the sounds she was hearing. A soft smile curling onto her lips as she shook her head.
"It is of no matter. So long as they are fine then I shall be. Everything else will just have to work itself out.
At least that is the best solution I could come up with."
She shrugged lightly and then fell silent. A little sigh once more passing from her as she let her eyes fall closed for a moment.

"Yes. I am sure there are more who wish to hurt him or use him. I just have to stay away from people he says. It is not safe."
Emily would nod, listening even as she started counting for the Fetal Heart Rate, or at least get an estimate considering how fast it was. God damn it, 146 beats per minute on this one. Well, it was normal, but counting the FHR had always been Emily's waterloo.
Turning the doppler off, Emily would proceed to jotting down data on the chart, listening to Kevala as she continued to speak. "It is of no matter. So long as they are fine then I shall be. Everything else will just have to work itself out.
At least that is the best solution I could come up with."
Emily looked up from the chart and gave Kevala a soft smile before taking a piece of paper from the Doctor's desk and writing on it her number. After checking if she had written it legibly, Emily gave it to Kevala. "... If you need any help at all, you can call me here." She said. "The babies are doing well; just a few weeks more and you'll have three little giants. You'll just need to come back every other week for follow-up examinations."
She smiled. "Everything will turn out alright." she said, not so sure of what to say from this point. Emily wasn't really good with assurances, and more or less avoided doing so - but at this point she had nothing else to say.
