Sailor Moon x 259 Crossover fic!

Marianne’s Notes: Now, if you’ve read the Sailor Moon manga, you’d be more or less familiar with the scene I’m about to portray first. But then again, I’m probably the only one on 259 who has – so whatev. XD For anyone who cares anyway, the story starts at the 9th page of Act 52. Mind you, this isn’t exactly what it is on the manga – just a play of it to match the story as a whole. >_<;


An explosion would resound all throughout the galaxy.
The Amazon Quartet watched in horror and grief as their future queen threw herself into the Galaxy Cordon to save Galaxia. Even through their eternal forms, they had lacked the ability or the power to help the soldier of Sanctity as she fought through the intense light that shimmered from the small sun that made the cordon. “SAILOR MOON!” They screamed, calling out her name in vain as the cordon burst into flashes of light.

“Amazing!” Sailor Pallas said, covering her eyes from the bright light that would blind them otherwise. “What is this light!? Could it be…!?”

“These are the sailor Crystals that melted into the Cordon; the scouts before they have travelled to their planets.” A serene voice said from nearby. Ceres quickly turned her head to see a familiar gaze. It was the gaze of a small senshi that was more mysterious than the soldier of ruin herself. Bright red hair would be replaced by shimmering silver, and the toddler was now a full grown woman clad in a scout outfit that she had never seen. “They are all star seeds that are just born but by the time they return to their own planet, they will be back to their original forms.”

The woman watched, as the light dimmed to reveal crystals of different colours and auras. These were the Sailor Crystals; the souls of the senshi. Sailor Ceres took a step forward and asked “Did Sailor Moon sacrifice her life to use the Silver Imperium Crystal’s power?!”

“No.” The woman said, “This power is generated by thousands of Sailor Crystals from throughout the Galaxy. This is Cosmo’s crystal’s power to change everything to cosmos Energy, the Ultimate Lambda power.”

“Cosmos Crystal? Lambda power?” asked Sailor Vesta, the senshi endowed with the power of fire, “Who are you?”

The mysterious senshi merely diverted her warm gaze to the four asteroid senshi before her, “Who am I?” The woman smiled, “I am Sailor Cosmos.”

Sailor Ceres gasped, almost speechless with the presence of whom she had only read about as the legendary senshi – the Ultimate Sailor Moon. “Are… Are you the future?”

Sailor Cosmos’ looked away. “I… am a coward who ran away from where I should have been.” She said, “I will never be able to match Eternal Sailor Moon’s final show of courage and power.”

Final?!

The Asteroid Senshi shook in horror. Their mission to protect the princesses of the future and past have failed – the woman who would be queen had died in the Galaxy Cordon. Sailor Ceres was in disbelief. “Did Sailor Moon…?”

“Sailor Cosmos!” Sailor Juno interrupted, her own emotions surging. “Did our Princes-“

“No need to worry.” Sailor Cosmos said, “Your princess has been regenerated like all the other scouts. Eventually, they will arrive at the 30th century.”

Sailor Cosmos watched as each Sailor Crystal flew away one by one, far away into the depths of the galaxy to return to their home planets. It was there that they would be reincarnated again. This had all happened before during the Silver Millenium; and countless times more in the past. “This is the Galaxy Cordon; where the galaxy’s stars are created and destroyed. Sailor Moon tried to hold down Chaos and melted into the Cordon with him. Thanks to Eternal Sailor Moon’s power, the Cordon was able to restore its true form. But once again, it wasn’t able to destroy Chaos completely.”

The soldier’s blue orbs feigned regret, and the Asteroid senshi held their questions back. Oh, they had so many questions –but Sailor Cosmos had more to reveal. “I have come from the future. I ran away from the battle with Sailor Chaos… leaving everything behind. All the bloodshed, the gruesome long battles; Sailor Chaos is so big and powerful – there is no way of winning by conventional means. Even if he is defeated, even if I obtain the peace again, the damage and sacrifice made for it will be great. I didn’t know what was right and wrong. What should I do? Every time I thought about it, I remember the battle here. If I had destroyed the Cordon back then… would there be any more sufferings? I had so many regrets, so I came back to do everything over. Myself here was alone and suffering, too. That is why I kept close and supported her, to help her make the right choice. But I realized, I had already chosen the right path.”

She smiled. ”No one can destroy the place where stars are born. We can live because this place exists. We can do everything over. I won’t run anymore, I can step forward.”

“I have received great powers from Eternal Sailor moon; the power to lose everything and the power to save everything – the ultimate power that I was forgetting…”

“Sailor Cosmos…” After all that had been said, it had made more sense to the Leader of the Asteroid senshi. This had all happened before, and the senshi before them was the future – the sole soldier protecting the Universe.

It was a lonely life; but senshi were destined for solitude from the very beginning. They were vestal virgins who watched over the star they protected, sworn to protect the rulers that kept peace in the galaxy their planet was in.

It was Sailor Moon herself who fought destiny and changed history to be what it is, and what is should be.

Then Sailor Cosmos began to speak once more. “The Sailor Moon that just saved the galaxy is Sailor Cosmos’ true form. Like Eternal Sailor moon did – when I receive the power to lose and solve everything; that is when I truly become Sailor Cosmos. Now, now go back to your home – to the place where you are supposed to be.” Her hand brought up her Cosmos scepter and the billions of Sailor Crystals flew up to return to their home stars. The asteroid senshi were wrapped in a warm, shimmering light helpless as they too were carried away by the Sailor Crystals back to where they were supposed to be – the Future.

Sailor Cosmos, though, smiled. Though she knew that what she had already done is final for her own dimension – this one is promised the rule of the white moon. ]

However, she also knew that Chaos would never stop it’s evil. She would have to follow after him and stop his reign of terror. Ultimately, it would only stop his evil temporarily – but that was all Sailor Cosmos needed.

Surrounding herself in a white light, she finally disappeared. From here, she would send herself to another dimension – one that was already ruled by Chaos. It was a place where Juuban had already lost the protection of the moon, and the sailor senshi failed to exist.
Maybe she could do something for this dimension.

Starting with Public High School 259.

“We’re here everyone.” Cosmos said, watching the landscape of lights as she appeared in the night sky. This place was no longer Juuban, nor the dimension where she had come from. Her business there was done, and here was the next stop in the long trail of dimensions she had to watch over. This was her destiny.

Ultimately, she was alone.

“Everyone…” She said, staring at the class orb of her glass scepter as it glowed a rainbow of colours. “So there are those with powers here as well?” Sailor Cosmos would only grin softly. This would mean that she would be able to maintain her strength as a senshi and not be dependent on the Ginzhuishou for it. However, she knew fully well that she could not do this alone.

The white-haired senshi flew across the sky, searching for that school – that school that centered a massive amount of energy. In her world, it would’ve been a place where the kingdom of the Black Moon would have more than likely opened a gate to the past. It wasn’t very long when she found her target –a school that reeked of violence. She wondered if she had been too late; more or less still ignorant of the violent culture that surrounded this world. “This is the world we have to save, right?” She said as her eyes wandered. This was her duty – no backing out now.

Who wouldn’t be a little afraid? Supposedly, this world was a world without the powers of the senshi – a world without the Star Seeds that grant powers upon those who protect the stars; but to see that the surroundings of the said school were surrounded by broken walls and craters upon the grounds.

“Have no doubt, my Queen.” A child-like voice rang out from her scepter before appearing in a shimmering light of indigo and lavender. It was Saturn, the guardian of death. “My lady, this is America. Please do not be surprised at what culture we will be infiltrating tomorrow morning.”

“Hotaru-chan.”

“If it pleases you, may I search for my partner first?”

Sailor Cosmos paused for a while to think. There was this part of her that was afraid of giving away the souls of her friends to strangers – especially with what she had seen in all these past dimensions. Sailor Saturn only smiled softly and bowed. “My Queen,” She began, “We must send out our senshi one by one lest we risk that Chaos sense our presence.”

The white-haired woman took a breath and sighed. She was still Usagi Tsukino after all. Maturity was never one of her strong points. Look at this, a 12-year old senshi giving her advice. Quite ironic, right?

“Very well,” She said, smiling cheerfully and summoning Jupiter out of her scepter, it glowing a soft green. “Then maybe you can take Jupite—“

“Fallen Queen of the 31st Century Tokyo, you are pathetic!” A masculine voice roared in Sailor Cosmos’s ears. Where did that come from? Then a shadow –like wind would gale through Sailor Cosmos. “You actually think that even with you and your friends lowering your power, that you would basically be able to hide from me?!”

“Chaos!” The woman said. Saturn would fly to her front, her glaive ready at Chaos slightest move.

“Ah,” Chaos said, “I am glad that you’ve managed to find me here. This will be amusing. You know that this is a battle that you or I will never win, and that I have cursed you to fight me in a battle never ending?”

“Chaos, please!” Sailor Cosmos begged, “This war has to stop! Aren’t the hundreds of Dimensions you’ve tortured and razed enough?”


Chaos would only laugh. “Enough?” it said, as the opaque and barely visible shadow swirled around threatingly around the two senshi. “It will not be enough until you give me the Ginzhouishou. I still have the Golden Crystal of the Earth that protects your dimension, and we both know that without the other, the Silver Crystal is useless!” The golden crystal – Endymion’s Crystal that guards the life of the earth from Elysion. She had ultimately failed to retrieve this from the first battle of Sagittarius Major, but she had hope. That was the only thing that she could hold on to – especially with a foe like Chaos. “I have enough of this chit-chat. Give me the Ginzhouishou; It will make your eternal suffering end!”

The black shadow would then wrap itself around the senshi’s body and around her neck, where she would begin to choke. Saturn knew that she was too powerful to handle this. Her abilities lacked the control that the other senshi would be able to do - the control that would allow damage to Chaos without risking any large amounts of destruction here or below. Here, she decided to pull her trump cards. “Silent wall!” She announced, the shadow bursting away from Sailor Cosmos’s body as it was now protected by a shield of ebony black. “My Queen, I’m sorry.”

Sailor Cosmos’s eyes opened wide as she rammed her gloved hands on the solid orb of energy surrounding her. There was no breaking free from this, all considering that she and Saturn had equal powers. Saturn controlled death, and Sailor Cosmos allowed rebirth. It was this cycle that allowed life in the world to flourish. However, Sailor Cosmos feared the worst. “Wh-What do you mean?! Hota—“

The orb would then disappear in a speck of light to the east before before hitting the ground and disappearing. Saturn held her glaive defiantly; ready to stand up to the Ghoul before her. “You will not touch the Light of hope!”

Chaos laughed and a dark ominous shadow would surround the soul of the Senshi of Death.
Then… complete silence.
“HOTARU-CHAAAAN!!!!!”


It was a night that Ryuu had very much prepared for the entire week. He had gotten enough money from work to buy a car earlier that week and he had promised certain someone a drive to a spot that had a wonderful view of the night sky. Yes, it was a date with the School Captain of Public High School 259: Emily. Boy, was he crazy for the girl.

That is, even though he knew that his love would be eventually turned down. He was well aware that the love of his life had a heart torn between himself and another. It slightly pained the young man to remember that possibility of her leaving him eventually, but decided to just forget about it and enjoy the night with the asian girl that was sitting at the seat next to him. “Are we there yet, Ryuu?” Emily asked. “You’ve had me blindfolded for the past hour. Are you sure you know where we’re going?”

Ryuu laughed. “Nope.” He said, “We’re lost.”

“Ryuu.”

“Oy, oy.” He said, trying to drive in his attempts to assure his girlfriend that they weren’t lost. He must admit though, that he only had been to this place once – and that was with daylight. It was around ten in the evening, and he was quite sure that after this he could have Emily to himself at home. But yes, the car had stopped eventually, and Ryuu would heave a sigh. He made it. “We’re here, Em.”

The Filipina girl could only chuckle. An hour drive? Were they really that far off from Long Beach? “Does this mean I can take this blindfold off now?”

“Nope.” He said. “Wait there, I’ll help you out.”

Emily slightly shook, kind of afraid and unsure of what the Japanese boy was planning this time. This had only been their third date, and Ryuu was making it a bit more mysterious than it had to be. For one, they usually planned these things together. She only had asked him to drive her around someday to celebrate his new car, but he eventually went ahead and made it a full-blown date. “Ryuu?” She said, laughing nervously as she heard small sounds of walking on Grass and of thuds. “R-Ryuu?”

“Almost ready, Princess.”

“… You do know that it’s creepy being blindfolded in the middle of nowhere, right?”

“Yeah, right. Like I want to rape you right here? Please.” Well, on the contrary – it seemed like a good idea for that moment. “Fine, it’s ready. Lemme help you out.” The asian boy would open the car and take his girlfriend up in his arms, carrying her bridal-style. “… up you go.”

“Oh, Ryuu!” She laughed, wrapping her arms around her boyfriend’s neck. “If you drop me, I’ll knock your head off.”

“Which head are we talking about here?”

“You’re a dirty, dirty young man.”

Ryuu laughed. “Yeah, I know.” He gently laid his girlfriend on the ground, apparently covered by a bamboo mat. “You can take the blindfold off now.”

Emily nodded, cautiously taking off the blindfold that kept her from seeing the sight of a lifetime – a beautiful view of Long Beach at Night time. “Oh, Ryuu…” She trailed off as she stood up and went for a closer look. The buildings looked as if they shimmered of gold and silver from here. Looking up, the stars shimmered brighter than they did at the city, and the moonlight of a full moon graced them in it’s warm light. “… I…”

“I Did a good job, ne?”

“No. I was about to say – you fail.”

Ryuu chuckled to himself. It was only recently that he had noticed her catching on his tendency to be sarcastic, but he found it funny on how it suited her. Interesting, Emily used to be a very serious girl. “Aww, man – and I had hoped that I’d get a reward.”

“Nope,” She said, “You’re not getting any tonight.”

“Damn.”

Emily gave her boyfriend a smile before she would approach him and give him a gentle embrace. “Really though, thank you.” She said, “This view… is absolutely wonderful. How’d you find out about it?”

Ryuu looked away to hide the blush that burned in his cheeks. He was glad that Emily liked what she saw. “Um, I was driving around and yanno…”

“Ryuu.”

“Okay, okay. A friend told me about it, kay…?” The black-haired girl laughed and pressed her lips against Ryuu’s own. She was quite pleasantly surprised by all this, and so far, Ryuu had outdone their past few dates quite well. Ryuu then wrapped his arms around the smaller girl, pulling her closer in his desire to deepen the kiss further.

Emily would open her eyes for a moment and then a bright light would be approaching them right from behind Ryuu. This light was almost blinding, but Emily was the only one fast enough to make a reaction – or at least, try to. “Abunai! [Watch out!]” She said, pulling herself from the kiss and pushing Ryuu to the ground before the light hit the girl right at the chest, sending her flying up to the metal rails. Luckily, she wasn’t so heavy enough as the metal would give in. But then again, she was hit by a mysterious light.

“Emily!” Ryuu said, as he stood up and knelt beside his fallen girlfriend, shaking her slightly. “Emily. EMILY! PLEASE WAKE UP!”

It was only moments after that Emily began showing signs of life. She groaned, and flinched when her heart began pounding painfully for a moment. “A-are you alright?!” Ryuu said, “W-what was that?!”

Emily shook her head. “I… don’t kn--. Ugh.” Emily’s hands clutched at the white shirt she wore for the evening. Even for someone with a high pain threshold like Emily, it seemed as if that it wasn’t enough to endure the pain that had been brought to her by that white light.

Ryuu frowned. He checked and double-checked if Emily was injured, which was surprisingly not so. He dismissed it as her being so god-damned powerful. But then again, the force of that blow seemed to be…

“Ryuu,” Emily said, “I-I’m sorry… but can you drive me home? I don’t feel so good.”

It was here when Ryuu began to worry the most. Emily just got hit by God knows what and now she’s not feeling well. After some failed attempts in convincing Emily to go to the hospital, Ryuu packed up and drove Emily home.

“And that was it.” Ryuu said, leaning against the table with his elbow and his hand on his chin. He had been caught by the teachers twice today. Why? Ryuu had been doing nothing but staring into nothing the entire day, earning him around a total of two homeworks, a week of detention and a hundred laps around the Gymnasium. It was now lunch-time, and Ryuu paid no attention to his stomach in worry – instead, he spent his time explaining the situation to Emily’s younger sister, Drea.

Drea was Emily’s twin sister, and it was probably an understatement to say that these two twins were pretty. They were quite gorgeous in fact, even to Ryuu’s own eyes. Despite their physical similiarities, Emily and Drea were quite different – as evidenced by Emily’s more daring and assertive nature as compared to Drea’s own. They were both equally idealistic, and both equally level-headed.

Ryuu would only chuckle.

“That’s it?” Drea said, shaking the young Japanese boy’s shoulders. “You didn’t even take her to the hospital!?” Ryuu sighed. Man, he had already tried explaining to the girl twice already.

“I told you before.” He said, “I asked her fifteen times and she said no.”

“Bu-but… What if.”

Ryuu sighed. Sometimes this girl could be so… well… childish. It was a mildly annoying trait that he knew Emily loved quite well. Heh, the bond between the two sisters were quite deep even though they’ve been apart for almost all their lives. “I’ll strike you a deal, kay?” He said, “If you stop asking any more questions we’ll go to Em’s apartment later, kay? We’ll pass by that yogurt shop Em liked and buy her some.”

Drea’s face brightened. Yup, it only took that much to get her to calm the heck down; quite adorable, actually.

Any further conversation would be disturbed by a couple of taps on the door. It was a teacher. Most students scrambled back to their seats from the usual flirting and gossiping, while the select few walked out of the class. Typical everyday scenes…

The teacher looked at the class, coughing slightly to get their attention. He seemed quite relieved that those students had left without bothering him. “Class,” He began, sorting his papers on the desk in front of the class. “We’ll be having our everyday quiz in a bit, but first I will need to introduce to you all a new student.”

“Right, Like in Elementary – huh?” The guy from behind Ryuu spat out, being a smartass. Ryuu just shook his head, even as most of the class broke into a fit of laughter.

“Just like where you’re going Mister.” The teacher smartassed back before addressing the entire class again. “Now, we have an exchange student from Japan. She can’t speak English well, so –“ He pointed at the guy that Ryuu would probably hide in the name of Jackass number 124, “You take the chair next to Miss Flanders. The new student will sit next to Ryuu Hikari.”

“Uh huh.” Ryuu paid no further attention. His mind could not help but wonder how his girlfriend was and how she was doing, hoping that she was at least alright considering what happened that night. He sighed, only to hear a shrill voice from the teacher’s desk.

“ENDYMION!” A girl screamed as she basically thundered across the room and held Ryuu’s hand gently. “I thought you were dead! Oh, Endymion!” Ryuu had a very confused look in his face, and upon looking around – so did everyone else in the class. But the hell, why did this girl call him “Endymion” of all things?

Well, this girl looked crazy – and blonde jokes would probably work well with her. Her hairstyle looked interesting – in something Emily described as “Odango”. Though, he probably couldn’t stop thinking of meat-buns after remembering how he skipped out on lunch.

“Uh huh,” He said, “Call me whatever you want, buns.”

Big mistake.

The girl almost leapt in glee. “And you call me the same!” She hugged Ryuu and sat on her seat happily. Just what the heck was going on here?
