"No one in room capable of doing anything at this point. It too unmature to reveal ourselves to possible enemies. You train hard. Das Schwert can revenge Die Königin. Is simple, but not now." Elise said.
Drea bit her lip, realizing it was true. She was weak.... But she would work to change that. For now, though... "For now we can only prevent her from taking her medication too frequently, right?" she asked the question under her breathe - more to herself than anyone else.
"As Elise was saying - or trying to say, to be more accurate - That David guy is the only one capable in this room to do anything about it. So what will we do? Simple, We train. This is what Emily would've wanted," another girl spoke.
That was fine with her. Seriously, she was more than aware that she needed it. She needed to learn to fight, expand her own strength, speed, and all that she could, and she needed to be able to help. She decided on the spot that she'd work out a code of sorts for them, but until she had one perfected, she wouldn't tell them about it. No sense in embarrassing herself, after all.
And then another of the women spoke.
"Do you know why the Regalia was created?"
Drea paused at that. Why Regalia had been created? There could be a myriad of reasons, and from what little she knew of her sister and what she'd heard... She couldn't imagine it was anything bad. But... The facts were the facts. She didn't actually know.
"No," she said. "No, I don't. I only trusted in my sister."
And really, she didn't know enough about any of their histories to have a say. After all, whereas they all had some shared history - they'd been with her sister longer than she, anyways - she was still getting to know her.
How could she possibly know the real reasons behind the group?

Alex peered in mild interest at Elise, before letting out a sigh, as he rubbed his head in mild exasperation. Was this more trouble than it was worth? Although it seemed like it, Alex was willing to endure it, because he was willing to do anything for Emily. But he couldn't deny, all this was taking a toll on him. At this point in time, all Alex could do was train and get stronger. Because he did not possess the amount of strength Emily or David possessed. All he had, was his intellect and his strategic mind right now. He was going to continue doing what he had been doing all this time, and that was, get stronger, so he could protect those he held dear to him. Because that was all he could do at this point in time, with what he had right now, and right now, if only it was as easy as preventing Emily from taking the medicine too frequently. She was working as a nurse at the hospital, so she would have access to the medicine.
And it wasn't like all of them could keep an eye on Emily 24/7. "Damn if I know." He replied as he casually shrugged his shoulders and held his hands up as he shook his head. "To take down the current hierarchy currently headed by The Lord and Master himself, Matrim Gallagher?" Let's be honest. Alex didn't know. Did he want to know? Obviously, either wise he wouldn't be guessing in the first place. But Alex only knew Nikki, because she had been in his class back at 42, but even then, he didn't know much about her, or any of the other girls in the room for that matter. And even though he had been around Emily for a year, that still didn't constitute very much. "You might as well get straight to the point and tell us it, either wise we'll be running around pulling at straws, trying to determine the real reason in the first place."

The Russian-Czechlovakian woman's eyes closed as she heard the replies of the two. It seems Emily had left them in the dark just as she had for when they were pulled into this as well. Though, the true purpose of the Regalia was simple enough. "Partially." "Sophie" said, "The Regalia was created back in San Francisco to keep over gang and pillar activity within the school and make sure they didn't do anything that would cause the loss of life; Regalia was revived as well after Emily became captain to become her personal army."
Nikki shrugged. "Yeah. She actually wanted to abolish the Pillarship, but was quite unsure as to how to do it in an acceptable manner. That's when Matrim took her down."
Elise folded her arms around her chest, slightly irked by the mention of that man. Her face never showed it, but she never really was a fan of that young man. "Emily lost on purpose. She never liked pillar she is."
"You mean: she never liked being a pillar, Elise."
"... Yes."
"As it is, though. The Regalia has been re-organized to be somewhat of a psuedo-hierarchy. Emily wanted to give the people a choice of leadership, no matter how difficult that may actually sound."
...
Stephanie opened the door to Emily's room, her eyes noticing David Blaze sitting there. She didn't exactly expect the man to be right there considering that Elise was supposed to take them where the others were but---
"... You are guarding her, eh?" she said, folding her arms as she closed the door.

Drea blinked at Kazuya's response. Now there was something she hadn't considered. An attack? Emily seemed more like the protective type than the aggressive form...
"Partially." Sophie said, "The Regalia was created back in San Francisco to keep over gang and pillar activity within the school and make sure they didn't do anything that would cause the loss of life; Regalia was revived as well after Emily became captain to become her personal army."
The computer techie chimed in: "Yeah. She actually wanted to abolish the Pillarship, but was quite unsure as to how to do it in an acceptable manner. That's when Matrim took her down."

Drea listened quietly to their words, feeling a bit more secure to about her sister. She'd been briefly concerned, despite her belief in her sister, that her sister was involved with something dark. She smiled softly, an affectionate look appearing on her face.
"My sister is the best, after all," she said, feeling calmer. Their brief explanation on the purpose and drive behind Regalia had quickly dissipated her concern's about Emily's medical addiction.... But she hadn't, by any means, forgotten. She'd have to talk to her sister about it...

His eyes kept watch on the monitors, listening calmly to the sound of her even breaths His thoughts were swirling, twisting and surrounding his mind like vortex. Emily was putting something together, but for what? And how long would it take for it to get in order? These were, of course, thoughts his former self would have adressed immediately, even before agreeing to become her sword. However, David was far different then he used to be, and in truth felt he had no need or right to ask what exactly she planned to do. He would find out as she did it. He looked to the door, making sure it was closed before putting a hand over hers. He was, deep inside, feeling the pain of putting her here, and he wished there was some sort of comfort he could try and give...
Footsteps.
He released her hand with a quickness, just before the door opened. He looked over, placing his hands on the arms of the chair, ready to attack whoever might be coming inside to try and take Emily while she was down. His Qi flared, causing instant pressure to crash down around every individual in the entire building. However, it would only last for seconds, as the female was from the group Emily had put together. He cut it off, instead letting it stew below the surface. He still didn't trust her. He re-took his seat, staring up at her as she asked her question.
He turned, sliding his gaze to the bed.
"Yes."
He stared at Emily's face, then asked a question, trying to change the subject from himself before it got too "deep".
"Mind if i ask something?" He looked back at her, not letting her tell him no. "Why do you serve Emily? Whats in it for you?"
He wondered what all these girls got out of this transaction- why give yourself to an individual without some sort of purpose? It was a small part of himself shining through, but he just told himself it was for her protection which, in part, it was.
He waited.

So his guess wasn't too far off from the real reason. It was part of the real reason, but not the entire reason. Emily lost on purpose to Matrim. He definitely understood why, it was just as Elise said, or at least, tried to say. But either way, he understood why.
He let a bit of a smile appear on his face. Students having a choice of leadership. It was an optimistic idea, but nonetheless, a difficult idea to implement. Not everyone would be for it, and there would those that would neither be for or against it. Nonetheless, Alex trusted in Emily. Despite the secret of her medical addiction rising and exposed to the surface, Alex's trust in her had not wavered. It was just like when he had discovered she had had an alter ego. It didn't change a single thing. She was still the same Emily he had met back then, and she always would be.
Though it wasn't to say he hadn't forgotten about her addiction. It just meant that despite knowing about it, it wouldn't change his feelings for her. He still loved Emily more than anyone else. Even though he knew the possibility of her leaving him existed. "... I will do what I must, to get stronger. Not just for myself. But for Emily."

Stephanie didn't flinch despite her raised heart rate and slightly sweaty palms. Of course, no one would really want to piss off anyone who could potentially send you out the hospital in a wheelchair; but despite this, Stephanie decided to be brave - something that Emily admired in her. She could admit that she was scared when David's Qi flared, but was more or less relieved upon feeling it basically tone down.
She took a breath and listened to David's answer. Seeing all this though, in the back of Stephanie's mind there was some slight wonder about David and the definition of the relationship between him and their so-called Queen. Though, David was passing a few borders and it was easily misinterpreted...
"Mind if i ask something?" He asked.
"Go ahead."
"Why do you serve Emily? Whats in it for you?"
The girl chuckled softly to herself, her reddish-brown hues falling to the sleeping Queen and watched with slightly pained eyes. "You wouldn't believe that there's nothing for me." She said, "... well, even if it really is the truth."
She looked at David.
"My sister is the best, after all,"
Elise was, in the back of her head, aware of the reasons why Emily didn't give Drea or even Ryuu significant positions in Regalia. For one, beside their lack of experience, there were a few traits about them that Emily was concerned about.
As for Drea, Elise knew that Emily cared for this girl enough to keep her at a position less likely to be hunted down in case of a gang war. Same for Ryuu, more or less.
They were both capable, but--
"... I will do what I must, to get stronger. Not just for myself. But for Emily."
Elise looked at Drea, her brown eyes slightly showing some level of concern. She was idealizing her sister, and usually that sort of thing only ends up in heartache. "Don't idealize sister." She warned. "Emily not perfect. Even she knows that."
Then she looked at Ryuu; the poor guy who knew nothing about what was going on Emily's mind as of recently. Elise knew how much Emily treasured him, and how much she was willing to sacrifice to keep him happy...
...
"... Emily told me before zat one must fight for self, not others, become stronger." It was true. Motivation to become stronger should not come from anyone else; what if that person dies or betrays you? Then what do you do?
Who would you lean to?
Yourself.
Stephanie smiled at David, "Though, I'll tell you this though..." She said, sitting at the chair by the door, crossing her legs and her arms above her chest to watch over their unconscious leader with this... dragon. "I follow Emily because I believe in what she wants to achieve and she couldn't possibly do it all on her own."

He stared- nothing in it for her? It reminded him of someone...he continued to stare, watching her as she took her seat. He made quick judgements about her, about how she fought, how she lived. It was natural fo any human being to want to know, but David's reasons were far from the norm. He wanted to know so, just in case she turned out to be a traitor and hurt Emily, he could tear her world apart, piece by piece. It was the thoughts of someone who blindly dedicated himself to someone without thought for future or possible pain and anguish. He let the girl finish, his gaze lingering on her eyes. They were doorways to the soul, one of focus and intrigue. She seemed so very clear on what she wanted...
But he still wouldn't give her any leash as far as Emily was concerned. He would, however, explain something.
"Let me make a few things clear- one, i don't trust anyone but Emily, and another whom i won't name. Not you. Not Alex. Not Drea. Two- If i suspected you wished to bring her harm, or if you did bring her harm, i would do as i needed to make sure you couldn't lift a finger to do so, or to punish. Even if it means taking your life."
He stared into her eyes as he spoke this, his own liquid orbs tranquil and full of truth. He would kill any one of them if he knew, without a doubt, that they planned her harm. He would have killed Gabriel that day if she hadn't stopped him...
"And three." He let his gaze fall, looking over at Emily's breathing form. "I'm tired of these...looks i get. From you, from Alex, from Clavering. To be blunt, i love Emily. I have since the first few months after we met. That feeling, however, is not romantic. I love her as a friend, as her gaurdian, as a sister." He looked back to her, daring her to laugh or scoff. "I don't deny it- its plain as day."
He folded his arms.
"Along with that, though, are many problems i see with her. A need for medication. Changes physically, mentally." He looked to her once more. "I think it would be best if we held a dedication ceremony, and openly devote ourselves to her. It would put me at ease."
And that, if nothing else, would be a breath of fresh air for everyone.

"Don't idealize sister. Emily not perfect. Even she knows that."
Drea frowned at Elise's broken warning. She didn't idealize her sister. Or idolize her. She realized that Emily was only human - but the facts still stood. Of all the people that she knew - her parents, Kazuya, Kevala, Katsuri, Mitsukai, and the others - her sister was the most important.
She loved her sister. It was more than enough to believe in her. Besides, no matter what anyone else said, she'd still firmly believe that her sister was the best, even if it was only because of their blood ties. It didn't matter.
In other words, Drea was fully supportive of Emily. To her, it didn't matter. As long as it was for her sister's own good, or was something Emily wanted, Drea would do her utmost to help her...
Although, in a way, her drastic and quick devotion to her sister was proof that she was emotionally stunted. After all, normal people didn't latch onto long lost siblings in quite the way she had. She'd done it without any suspicion. But... Drea didn't know what else she could do.
She simply believed.
So, when Elise spoke, she didn't give any actual vocal response. Instead, she smiled. A sweet smile. A kind smile. A predatory smile.
But a smile - one dedicated to her sister.

Alex's expression did not change... in fact, it looked exactly like it did five minutes ago. Once upon a time, long ago, Alex did fight to get stronger for himself. He admired his father so much, that he wanted to be like him. But that was the original's goal. The Alex now in front of them, was a clone. He didn't remember anything after being created when the original passed away, in fact, he didn't know anything before then, period. He only knew about Matrim and Reira from what Kyoko had learned and told him. Everything else, all the friends the original had made, all the experiences, were not his. The experiences he had, were the ones he had from the first day he stepped foot in Public High School #42. But deep down, his only motivation to fight and get stronger, was to prove that he was strong, and that he was going to become the strongest.
He may have said he wanted to get stronger for himself and Emily, but the very core of that goal, was entirely selfish. He wanted to get stronger, and rise above everyone else. Especially the original he was created from. The Alex Matrim and Reira knew, was not him. The one they knew, was dead. They didn't know that he was a replica, only Kyoko and himself knew. Which was why he worked even harder to become stronger, so that if they did find out, they wouldn't compare him to the original. He was going to be his own self. He was going to eventually discard the name Alex, and forge his own identity. As Kazuya Hikari. As a person completely different from the one he was created from. Unlike Drea, who gave Elise a smile, Alex merely looked calm, frighteningly calm you could say. He was loyal to Emily, ever since he first met her at 42. That hadn't changed even now. "... Then you could say, deep down, my goal is entirely selfish." I will get stronger... Stronger than everyone... especially her. I will surpass them all.

Two- If i suspected you wished to bring her harm, or if you did bring her harm, i would do as i needed to make sure you couldn't lift a finger to do so, or to punish. Even if it means taking your life."
Stephanie shrugged. "Sure. Sure." She said, "Just note, that if you or anyone hurt Em in any way, we'll do much more than taking your life, bub. Much more than that. There's that German guy she had been so miserable over since whenever, and if Emily didn't explicitly tell us to not touch him we would've taken his other eye out and have him eat his retina rolled in shit." She was a particularly headstrong and vocal girl, lesser controlled than Nikki, but still something Emily appreciated.
"And three. I'm tired of these...looks i get. From you, from Alex, from Clavering. To be blunt, i love Emily. I have since the first few months after we met. That feeling, however, is not romantic. I love her as a friend, as her gaurdian, as a sister. I don't deny it- its plain as day."
....
"... Then you could say, deep down, my goal is entirely selfish." Ryuu said, earning a sigh from Nikki as the redhead looked at Elise.
This guy barely knew what was going on inside Emily's mind. As far as they've seen, Emily was like any other human; she laughs, she cries, she gets angry...
Though, Elise knew that Emily was a ticking time-bomb waiting to explode. It was Emily's own will to not become evil that she had resisted the temptation to. But sometimes even the German woman was at a loss at the state of mind that Emily had.
"All goals here selfish. Even Emily's." She said.
"Kay, dears. Now we've got those things settled, I'll introduce ourselves." Nikki said, leaning against her chair. "I'm Nikki Nakashima, I.T. girl. I deal with tech stuff. That blue haired girl there is our marksman, "Sophia" and Elise here is Emily's right handmaiden."
...
"There are a few others, but they are busy someplace else. There's Stephanie, our media-woman, Beth... whose job I honestly don't want to know, and Franz, Emily's personal guard."
"Along with that, though, are many problems i see with her. A need for medication. Changes physically, mentally. I think it would be best if we held a dedication ceremony, and openly devote ourselves to her. It would put me at ease."
Stephanie shrugged a bit. "Well, I do think that's a totally corny and absolutely stuffy idea... but sure, I guess Em would let you do it if you honestly think it'll put you at ease about us."
