((OoC: Jyo only. Thank you in advance.))
They say… the more things change, the more they stay the same. To certain people, that saying can be like the shadow of death hanging over their shoulder because what they want more than anything is a small bit of comfort in different surroundings. One way to catalyze such a change would be to move to another city, make the surroundings different and hope the problems you faced don’t follow. That was what Sky had done. But there would always be a sneaking suspicion of his new school’s authority figures due to what he had already been through. And the hope became that his suspicions would go completely unfounded.
Once given a break from his classes, the Englishman made his way to the roof to get a quick smoke in. The more things change, the more they stay the same. Despite his best effort to quit, Sky still smoked and didn’t seem to be any closer to actually stopping. He’d gotten down to just a couple of cigarettes a day, for him that was an achievement after being up to a pack a day at one point in his life. Making his way across the empty roof, Sky propped himself up against a railing along the roof’s edge put in place to prevent students from falling off he guessed. He removed a cigarette from his pack, sparked a match, and lit it before taking a long drag. Exhaling, the senior’s eyes roamed over the city as a gentle breeze wafted off the sea. He ran his hand through his hair, adjusting it slightly. Those who knew Sky knew he took pride in his appearance, no matter the occasion.
Needless to say, Sky had more on his agenda for the free time. He planned to meet with another transfer, one from his own school, the ex-captain, the enemy, the friend, the man known as Jyo Mashima. Hopefully Jyo had gotten the message of his cell on when and where to meet Sky. Undoubtedly the ex-captain had gone to get a feel for the place and it was always a good idea to get other people’s takes on something.

"Hello Sky. I must say it is efreshing to see a familiar face in the sea f new ones." Said a soft voice as Jyo quietly walked over to stand by a person he had mixed ties with. Their last meeting hadn't been a cheery one. But hopefully Sky would understand Jyo's reasons for being at Rama corp for so long. Perhapes he might even find it highly interesting. But that was another matter. From the message on his phone Jyo felt another matter was to be discussed.
"So if I had to guess I'd think you'd want to know my opinion so far of this school we have come to." he said removing the sunglasses putting them in his pocket as his piercing eyes scanned the grounds much like when he was back at #499. Even if he never had some ttle as a pillar or captain. This school had gained a new guardian to add to it's ranks.

A soft chuckle escaped Sky when Jyo predicted the topic of conversation. After all the years they had been in school together it seemed almost appropriate. The Englishman might consider it a weakness to be read so easily had it been someone else. Nevertheless he took a deep breath in order to let a moment pass before getting down to business, since such matters had gotten quite sloppy in the past. Taking another drag off his cigarette Sky gazed out toward the sea as he began in an emotionless tone of voice.
“You are correct. You see… the reason I moved here was to leave the fighting and… the just aura of atrocities that surrounded that place. I want peace, I want to just pass day to day without having to worry about some corporate snake pulling crap in the same area my daughter calls home… But… school administrators can be just as bad… and now we reach the point of this meeting… I so want to be able to leave such problems behind I fear I may blind myself to certain characteristics about this school and its faculty’s true intentions… I need another perspective. Someone who, I hope, is not completely under the same sensory dulling as I may be.”
By the time Sky finished his voice had changed into one of the oddest a person could hear. On the surface it was still emotionless and bland, but underneath anger, sadness, and worry swirled about in a violent cocktail with numerous feelings brought up by the linger memories of the past. That was Sky… always. Flat and bland with a tinge of kind politeness on the surface whilst hiding an immense hurricane of chaotic emotion. With a bad sigh Sky shifted his attention from the distant see to Jyo as proper manners dictated to at least look at someone while they speak. Then he awaited the ex-captain’s answer.

"Well I have to admit my own reasons for leaving are more or less exactly the same. I did my best to handle things there but in th eend nothing could be done." Jyo said still looking out over the grounds of their new school. Unlike Sky he already had an idea of what was going on with some things that would interest him.
"Sky we already have a major problem. You are going to be the only one besides myself that will understand how critical this is..... Asiv has started using Brimstone of two of the students. mabey a different drink but with similar effects. You and I both know what this means. But I think we may have arrived in time to nip this in the bud." He said.

Sky’s expression immediately went south when Jyo said a “major problem”. For the most part Sky tried to stay away from student problems as much as possible since his… meltdown. Not to mention the words “major problem” were different for ex-499 students than most others. As the Englishman placed two fingers on the bridge of his nose in frustration, the feeling that he should have brought a couple of shot glasses and a bottle of scotch welled inside him while he listened to the rest of Jyo’s insight. More performance enhancers in student hands… whether or not in was the same drink Sky felt he should have shot Kazahana so long ago… for fuck’s sake! With a depressed sigh, Sky took another deep drag while waiting to reply.
“I suppose it would be useless to get Octave and Derrick’s files to show these students exactly what happens when they go down that road… I would guess they would believe themselves to be better than those two… the arrogance of youth…”
During his pause, Sky glanced up into the clear blue above them, his mind racing with possible stratagems to defuse this situation before it got to the point it had at his previous school. But there was always a chance it wouldn’t be as bad here… right? Of course, there was also his hesitation to get to involved in the fighting that went on in this school. They had the pillar system, four students to keep the peace… better than 499. No matter how strong, one person can’t keep the peace. After another sigh, Sky turned his gaze back to his longtime schoolmate.
“But… it couldn’t really hurt to try. If we could show them exactly what happen to Derrick and Octave when they took Brimstone it might change their minds… if not… do you suggest we “take out” the students Asiv is using? Are you willing to start a crusade against this action? Are you even prepared for that Jyo? You know, I’ve been down that road… and if you need my help, I will… however it isn’t a happy or easy one.”

"Don't lecture me Sky. We didn't part friends and I've been down the road much further than you and lost alot more. And his pumped up students are no threat. At least one of them. I took him down fairly easy. But he's still good. And if things get out of hand he's already promised to join us. he's got good intentions. He's just misled." Jyo said not codly but his voice didn't have it's normal warm tone.
"As for taking down Asiv. Let it wait for now. he's different from Laring, Kazahana or Leer. I think he's just testing this out. And I plan to nip it in the bud. Also Derrick and Octave's files wont help. Both boys took the drink willingly. One of them even realizes he's a puppet and going along with it." He said.

A small smirk of contempt slipped onto Sky’s features at Jyo’s retort. Of course, the Englishman didn’t exactly classify working for the one who was giving out such drugs a “crusade of justice”, but he wasn’t about to say so. One thing Sky doubted was how good their intentions could be, taking such a substance from the school supervisor in order to enact some sort of discipline. That didn’t sound like someone who had good intentions to him, but the Brit held himself to a higher standard. Nevertheless the slight expression quickly receded as Sky let Jyo finish his answer of the question’s that had been asked. Casually the senior dropped his cigarette and rubbed his ashes into the roof with the toe of his shoe before speaking again with his flat tone.
“They may have taken the drink willingly but what does that matter… power corrupts. Show them what happens and they might stop now. I doubt they want to be locked away in a corrections facility… or end up dead. But what do I know…”
He shrugged lightly while resting the urge to get another cigarette from his pack. Having been so close to quitting this whole situation wasn’t going to help the cause. Tragic. Sky took a deep breath of air before continuing on the matter of Asiv.
“As for Asiv… if I had to guess he is exactly like Laring, only more intelligent. He wants to have the least violent school and is willing to do what is necessary to do so… just take a gander at the teacher’s he has assembled. Though Asiv won’t try a specialize security force of former militants, who go about raping students, he will do what he needs to do to keep the peace. More so to enhance his reputation… Or he could be genuine…”

"I've already informed them about what they are falling into. As for Asiv. I think he's different from Laring. I think he's insane. it's been the word floating around about the guy. It's a touchy situation." Jyo said still not looking at Sky but staring out over the school grounds. "I just figured you'de like to know whats going on. Now unless there is something else I'll take my leave. I've said what I wanted to." He said and turned heading to the door leading off the roof.
