Senpuu Uwagi. The Raging Gale.[ Materials: Rubber x2 ($200), Plastic x1/3 ($25), Sheet Metal x1.5 ($525), Cloth x4 ($700), Customization ($3000)] - The Senpuu Uwagi was one of the items created for the Dragons that waged war against PHS# 552 in New York City. Created as the Wind Dragons original article, It was shortly found that the jacket had a life and mind of its own and was too powerful to be controlled, even by the mighty Dragons. As a result, a less powerful version was created. The Whirlwind Jacket, effectively making the Senpuu Uwagi the elder brother of the famed WWJ. - After the Dragons were killed by the defenders of 552, The Senpuu Uwagi escaped from the Dragons lair, and found its way into the hands of a reasonably capable young man. After a time, the jacket began to open up its powers to this young man, having deemed him worthy unlike the arrogant Wind Dragon. - The young man's power skyrocketed as a result of his new found powers over the wind, and soon became arrogant like the Dragons. He became corrupted as power will do, and began using the jackets power both selfishly and stupidly. Using it for benign purposes, such as menial chores, the jacket became insulted. As a result, the coat failed him when he needed it most. - An opponent who the man had challenged for selfish gain pushed the young man into a busy city street, directly in the path of a public bus. Scoffing at the pitiful attempt, the man did not move out of the way of the bus, but rather held up his hand to call on the jackets elemental powers. Looking to stop the bus in its track with the power of wind, the man was sorely mistaken to think that he was still the master of the Jacket of The Raging Gale. - When the police cleaned the boys corpse off of the street, an officer saw that the article of clothing was in near perfect condition despite having been on the back of the man who had just been splattered by a bus. Taking it to a pawn shop, the officer gained a meager bit of pocket change for the jacket. - From pawn shop to pawn shop, the jacket changed hands several times over a handful of years. It eventually found its way into a clothing store in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. There is where Ryu came across the jacket. Drawn to its power and the soft blue-ish glow it emanated whilst on the rack, Ryu picked it up by its hangar. Seeing its back, his heart stopped. The emblem of his old gang, Equilibrium, was embroidered into the back of jacket. The jacket thus passes into the hands of another young man, and only time will tell if it will reject him as well. - The material is made in such a way that the Cloth and Rubber that makes up this jacket were blended and fused in the creation process, insulating the fabric with the Rubber. The jacket subsequently is both water resistant and has a fair degree of protection from all sorts of weather conditions. - Steel snaps and zipper as well as a very tight stitch on all areas make the jacket very durable to impact and other forces. - Collar and cuffs both have snap buttons to give a tighter seal around the body. - Eight pockets throughout. Two normal pockets one would find on any jacket, two attached flap pockets on the front, as well as four internal pockets, two on each side. - Cut is semi loose and comfortable allowing for a wide range of motion that only remotely limits mobility of arms. - Slightly elastic bottom lining helps conform to the wearer for a more snug fit when zipped up. - Bottom two internal pockets are lined with a thin layer of steel allowing for sharp or other wise cloth damaging objects to be placed in them without incident, as well as protecting the user from impact or piercing. - All four internal pockets have a steel zipper to keep them closed when needed. - Between the layers of rubberized cloth is a layer of cotton padding that goes around the jacket for warmth more than protection. - Back of jacket has a huge symbol embroidered into the back which as a result of the Wind Manipulation ability of the jacket glows a pale blue when ever any Qi based ability is utilized by the wearer. -The Jacket weighs a good 6.75 lbs from rugged cloth packed of metal.
