Ryu's body whipped up before his eyes even snapped open. He immediately regretted it. His three limbs had recovered mostly from the power strikes he'd executed, but his body was still feeling the strain of Shaolin Fist overall. Wincing to himself, he glanced around. There were a couple of people dotted around the large room. No nurses though.
That was good. Of all the things that annoyed Ryu to no end, it was the nurses after he'd been injured that annoyed him the most. They were always 'Lay back down! You need your rest' Blahdi fuckin' blah, get the fuck out of my face already, lady. Sitting forward in the bed, Ryu noticed the bandages around his arms and legs. He then noticed that he was no longer dressed. Grunting in aggravation, he stood up, and pulled the curtain around his bed.
He put on the most important of his garb first, ensuring no one got a peek of him in a condition that no one had since he was too young to wash himself. Sitting back on the bed with his pants, socks, bracers, and bracelets on, his shining bright blues stared at the tiled floor.
His mind floated back onto the fight that had put him in here. The man's power was down right catastrophic... To take not only one, but three power strikes head on, and walk away with nothing more serious than a cracked rib...
Ryu's right hand clenched a tight fist, the material of his bracers stretching and creaking slightly. "The fucking pillar system again. Damnit." His mind hovered on the notion of Dragons. Aside the Lightning Dragon, Ryu'd only heard rumors of a war involving elemental dragons. The Earth Dragon coat and the Whirlwind Jacket had belonged to those men...
His mind flew to the quickest way to send a message to a Captain. A message that said 'I'm coming for you.' He had his answer in short order. Attack his pillars. Take their titles. But who were they? How would he find them? That answer was simple, too. Break into the documents office and steal the information.
Ryu stood, grabbed his black T-shirt, and pulled back the curtain of his bed.

Gabriel wasn't one to stop by the health facility, rather this time he was drawn there perhaps by the notion of someone much like himself in his more youthful years however that tale wasn't known as of yet rather he was quite intuitive.
His long gracious stride would tour the beds easily looking at the few maimed and injured, hell this school had to elongate it's ward due to the enforcers that short while ago. Funny how it'd been just over a year since they lost control. Time had simply flown by.
"The fucking pillar system again. Damnit."
He stopped mid stride turning about with a curious gaze, "You in the prospect of knocking off a few of em are you?"
Gabriel grinned turning back to the fellow's bedside. Taking a seat adjacent on a neighboring bed. Gabriel's eyes dancing curiously over him with both suspicion and curiosity.
"Funny, don't think we've met."

[Hadn't realized someone already posted, but since I wrote the post, why not right? =3? Edited~] Sara peeked around the corner of the door frame into the nurses office. It was a nurses office right? Is that what they called this dinky little room? She couldn't remember, she had only been here once before, when Matrim had broken her ankle when she had first started here. <_<" Stupid Matrim... >_>" Stupid nurses... Where the hell were they anyways? She had expected breaking into the office would have been harder then this, but from the looks of it, the place was empty. And SCORE~ There was an empty bed. Perfect. There were some people around the room, but no one of any consequence. She entered the doorway, a student slung over her shoulder. He was mumbling incoherently as she shifted him, making her way through the doorway and across the room. The empty bed was right next to a closed curtain. She smiled and nodded politely to the people in the room. It really wasn't that weird to see someone carried into this office. She was surprised there weren't more people... She reached the bed and laid him down on it. Don't ask what had happened to him >_>" It was a long story, and not one the small girl cared to revisit. She had taken him to the nurses office, so did it really matter D=? She shifted him so he was laying in the center of the bed and stood back up straight, nodding at her work. She was wearing her typical black track pants and a tight white tank top, the tip of a burn scar between her breasts visible just over the tip of the shirt. Also courtesy of Mr. Matrim Gallagher... Damn that man =_= The curtain behind her suddenly flew open and she jumped, spinning around, her arms raised in front of her as though warding him off. "I didn't do it! I swear!" " "Oh... You're just a kid..." !! Her eyes moved over him, taking him in and then ran over the other guy in the room. He looked familiar but... Ah well!~ "Hiii, I'm Sara!" [Not sure if youre gabriel, and whether sara knows you still....? ><" Sorry]

Ryu spotted the man who matched his height, but decidedly not his girth, as he pulled back the curtain. With a raised black eyebrow, he responded to the man in his almost disturbingly deep voice with its heavy bass. "I can't say as that's any of your business." He told Gabriel, his softly glowing bright blue eyes scanning up and down the man who's eyes were doing the same. "And no, we haven't."
The girl behind Ryu, putting a student down on a bed would be able to see the massive gruesome scar trailing his back from left shoulder to right hip from three quarters of a decade ago. At least she would until Ryu rounded on her. Then Gabriel would get a peek at it, and the girl would have a look see at Ryu's impressively muscular torso.
"Who the FUCK are you calling a kid, you half a midget!?" He had a point...While it had happened recently, he was eighteen. Hell...He hadn't been a 'kid' since he was ten years old. He hadn't been a 'kid' since he slit the throat of that first thug with that sword of his.

A low chuckle at the boy's response towards Sara. Of course he was still sour over the betrayal he'd suffered but now in hindsight he didn't care much. He was the one visiting the hospital while she was there lying in it. A smooth gesture as he leaned back in the hospital bead curiously observing the young man's scarred back. Most predominantly a fighter by the build, a fighter with a past of course. Bloody as his own he presumed; funny how their paths had yet to cross.
"Ha, just a lil scar, I'm sure you can take it..." Gabriel laughed a little bit rolling the bedside to arch against the wall giving him some much needed back support.
Crimson eyes never faltered from the scenario, he knew well enough who was in the room and would not underestimate any of them. His curious eyes picking up every minute movement. A brain running at many times a minute picking up the subtle little remarks passed by.
"So soldier, I take it you go big or not at all..?" He smiled again sending a mixed gesture of challenge and respect.

"Who the FUCK are you calling a kid, you half a midget!?"Sara pursed her lips, crossing her arms over her chest. Well that wasn't very nice. But mmmm~ Look at that body~ =D Why were the assholes always the hot ones? Even with the scar (which in Sara's mind, only added character) he was damn good looking. Sara chuckled, spacing out a little on her train of thought. He sure was defensive wasn't he? Surprisingly, Sara didn't take offense to the midget comment. Ya, she was short, so what >3> ? She could still whoop most people's asses from here clear into next week. "So soldier, I take it you go big or not at all..?" Sara was slammed back into reality, snorting a laugh. "Heh... That's hot..." Ya, dirty mind... " Still chuckling, she turned away from the two. Giving the guy on the bed a smile and a polite nod, she turned her gaze once more to the kid, giving him a wink. "Maybe I'll see you around again eh? You to." Another smile to Gabriel. With that, she practically skipped out of the room, humming to herself. Ya, she was nuts, so what? D< Need I remind you she could probably kick your ass? D<<<

David would suddenly appear in the doorway, foot touching the ground before shifting smoothely to allow the SBP to pass. He stepped into the health facility, carrying the body in his arms with little to no effort. The body, belonging to a freshman, was heavily damaged, and not by Davids hands. David had simply stumbled on a fight and stopped to watch, then decided to help the loser. He approached an empty bed, not looking overat the young Seran-in-disguise or at the beefy student who had a mouth. He didn't care, honestly, about either of them. He lay the body down gently, then pulled some wraps from under the bed.
He lifted the left arm slightly, starting at the top and working his way downwarm, completely surrounding the limb in cloth and watching as the light bloodstains began to disappear under added strips. He wrapped the left leg as well, and half the boys head to boot. His eyes slid to the big man, speaking casually, emotionlessly, seeing as how they were in fact the next bed over.
"I'd rest a bit were i you. Your in no condition to fight."
How did David know the man wanted to fight? Well, fighters always put off a pheromone, a sort of smell, and just the way he held himself and talked was enough. David wore a white Tank and blue jeans, casual wear albiet covered in spots of blood from this fellows body. He didn't look over as he waited for the more-then-likely smart mouthed reply. He didn't understand why he even tried- he should let the man go out and get his ass handed to him again.
Would serve him right...

Ryu's brow twitched as the woman eyed him. She'd already irritated him, and his annoyance with the short woman was steadily rising. Muscles in his jaw knit as she made it worse by winking at him. As she left, "Fuckin' shit backwards air-head bimbo." He growled to himself turning back around to this red-eyed character. To be honest, Ryu was too distracted with what he had in mind to understand what he had said until David's voice sounded behind him, stating that it would be best for him to rest before fighting again.
Yeah, no shit. His body was still aching from his own technique, let alone the wall he'd gone through. Oddly there had been no bandages for that. He supposed that the nurses figured his limbs were the worse for wear. That statement, though, tripped in his mind that Gabriel might have been suggesting that the two fight. That would certainly been straightforward. Unfortunately, Ryu didn't have the time. And he'd voice this as he began putting on his black tee. "Sorry, I don't have time to deal with you. Either of you." He first looked at the man in front of him, then at the newest arrival behind him out of the corner of his eye.
Grabbing his sneakers, he quickly put them on and laced them up, stating. "I've got shit to do, and I'd prefer to get it done quickly." His tone was slightly aggressive, but at neither of them, rather Matrim and that blonde shit fest that had just walked out of the area.

Gabriel laughed, This guy was funny. He could tell straight off the bat he was focused on one thing in particular and that most prevalently was in detail of getting his way. So Gabriel wouldn't get in his way, simply put he sat there watching the tantrum of sorts, all that energy and nowhere to fuel it in other than destroying others. Reminded him of a younger Gabriel back at Moral Crest.
Eyes shifted back towards David with respect. "Cute kid, I don't suppose you know him?"
He was curious as to the boy's purpose and what he was after, of course it'd been awhile since Gabriel had done anything destructive, this sense of competition came over him eying up the prospect of some healthy fun.

David finished wrapping the body, turning around and folding his arms while leaning against the bed.
"No."
He thought back- He had heard of several new transfers that had come in, but none of them truly pitted themselves as leaders, or as fighters. Of course, David hadn't done his research, nor did he care to. Everyone, transfers and veterans alike, all relied on one thing for power- toys. The Captain did, Gabriel did, Leon did. Everyone. David stared at Gabriel a moment, decided to alter to the topic to take in what he had just thought to himself about the Captain.
"Gabriel, why do you fight with those?"
He was referring to the many different arrayed things on the former Dragon, and he would wait until his question was answered before he gave a reason behind it.

Gabriel shifted looking first towards David before following his eye sight towards the items set about his body, he'd certainly earned them over years of fighting. Bits and pieces of his past that reminded him of his legacies. They helped yes, but in essence they were also brutal reminders of what he'd become. A warrior, wasn't that what he wanted to be? Of course. Now that he'd become that were these toys what he needed?
Gabriel thought it over shortly. "I never thought of that before... I guess they serve as a reminder..."
He shrugged off the weight onto the bedside revealing his true strength. His body remained their bold and bolstered, it'd been sometime since he was in a battle naked without these.
"Ahh I see what you mean...this is strength..."

David stood, holding out his arms to the side.
"I have nothing to remove, or i would."
He kicked the pile at Gabriels feet.
"This- it only causes a reliance, a sick dependence on something not of your own ability and power. You think your strong? Matrim thinks he's strong? Leon? You all depend on things that do nothing but show how big of pussies you are, and how unable you are to beat someone with your own damn skills."
This may anger Gabriel- it was a shame he didn't give a fuck. Gabriel was never a fear of his, nor was he ever intimidated by the male in any way or fashion. He cracked his neck.
"Learn to fight without this shit, and come to learn honor and you may, MAY actually attain some small shred of respect from me." He would walk past Gabriel, stepping on the items.
"If you even care to gain any, that is."

Gabriel chuckled slightly at the male's exit. Always the sourpuss to ruin a delightful moment. Of course David didn't know of Gabriel's secret ambition, the one he'd been harboring since the day they first met. A small grin returning as he looked down at the pile. Rivals. till the end of their days.
"I'm sure after all of what I've done David, no amount of retribution could ever earn that..." Gabriel said easily humbled.
He'd been through a lot of personal growth over the last month and quite a lot of understanding. He came to understand Emily as who she was, Keval as well. Many others along the long list. And of course David was at the very end always eluding his senses. It's what made this far more enjoyable than necessary.
"Your stern sense of judgment and keen knack for always being there when I go wrong seems to have attributed to that... DO you think that in another life we could have been friends?"

He stopped. Friends?
"..."
He said nothing, instead standing there only a moment longer. His anger and power left the area, and though he spoke no words, there was a strange softness to his presence.
With that, he continued walking, leaving Gabriels question unanswered.

Gabriel scoffed as he picked up his stuff and clinked it into a bed sheet hanging it over his shoulder easily. Always like David Blaze to disappear when you'd like an answer. He laughed at the thought of asking David what the square root of 493 was. Or perhaps if he could give Gabriel his title years ago but to send it through fed-ex or some difficult process. Maybe things would be different. He laughed. Only in a crazed world.
"Shame... I'll meet you again in battle soon.... friend."
