Mitsukai made it home a few hours later after she learned what Nami had done to her best friend. The house was empty, silent so no one noticed her arrival. The girl would waste no time, dragging herself back into her room. The injury still hurt her but it was not like she could afford to rest, she had to keep moving.
A soft mewing sound could be heard at her bedroom door. "Hey there Ammani." Mitsukai greeted her little kitten, scooping up the feline in her arms and gently stroking her fur. Through all the chaos the kitten had been completely forgotten. Poor thing must have been stuck inside Mitsukai's room for hours. Quietly walking inside her bedroom her golden eyes would fall ti the bed, tears welling up at the sight of the blood that stained the sheets. It was the first time in her life that she realized exactly what her dark half was capable of, and how close Kevala came to dying that night by her own hands.
Tearing her gaze from the blood soaked bed Mitsukai carried Ammani out of the room. Gently placing her down just outside the door. "Sorry for leaving you like that." She said apologetically, Mitsukai could not help but feel guilty. The poor thing had to stay trapped in that blood soaked room for god knows how long. The smell alone was making the girl sick to her stomach and she had only just walked in. She could only imagine how bad it must have been for a creature with an even stronger sense of smell. Ammani crept closer over to Mitsukai mewing softly as if she was concerned. Mitsukai only shook her head, stopping the feline from coming any closer. "No I have some important things to do, you go off and play." The kitten just sat there looking up at the girl not bothering to move from her spot. Very well if that was what Ammani wanted to do then so be it. As long as the little thing did not bother her as she went about her business it was alright.
Standing back up Mitsukai would go into her closet, doing her best to ignore the bed and grabbed a gym bag. She went through her closet and her drawers. Grabbing as much clothes and neccessities as the bag could possibly allow. Last but not least she grabbed her notebook and a pen before heading back over to Kevala's side of the house, Ammani at her heels. Silently she would make her way to the living room. Dropping her bag on a nearby couch before going over to the table with a heavy sigh she would pull out her notebook and flip to an empty page and begin to write.
Mitsukai left the note there knowing that eventually Kevala would get the message. There was no other way around this. The second she heard what Nami had done her mind was made up for her. Mitsukai had to leave or else one day Nami would kill everyone she cared aboutand then some >.>. Maybe one day she could return but until she could overcome her darker half Mitsukai had to run away. Grabbing her bag once again she would make her way to the kitchen and fill up Ammani's food bowl. The kitten hadn't eaten all day it was the least she could do before abandoning her.
Mitsukai slowly made her way to the front door, the kitten close behind her. She must have sensed that something was wrong and did not want to leave her master's side. Again Mitsukai would have to stop her. "I am afraid you can't come with me this time girl." she said sadly, trying to shoo the cat away. "I'm sorry but I have to do this." with that she would leave. Closing the door behind her before Ammani could run out with her. She could hear the kitten calling out to her but she was forced to ignore it.
A single tear fell as she made her way off the property for the last time. It was hard to end things like this, she didn't even know where she would go but it had to be done. She had to beat Nami once and for all before she got more blood on her hands. And she had to do it alone.................

Dear Kevala,
I can not say sorry enough for what I have done to you. I can not forgive myself for allowing my alter to have touched you and I would not be surprised if you never forgave me for what happened. I can only hope that you can recover and go back to your peaceful life.
In order for that to happen I must leave you behind. Until I can find some way to control my alter ego it is too dangerous for me to stay. I don't know why but my alter ego seems to be determined to kill anyone I am close to and I can not allow her to succeed. I will only return home again if I have either destroyed her or find someway to control her if you want me to return. Do not search for me, do not contact me. I can not risk having any form of contact with anyone else.
Please take care of Ammani for me and tell Drea, Matrim, and Sara what has happened so no one worries. And try to live happily with aiden and Kazumi, don't let my actions keep you from your happiness.
-Mitsukai
