Mazohyst Of Decadence
It was night time, Addie was tired, but at the same time, she just couldn't sleep. Her mind was a buzz with trouble, so much worry in the poor girls head. So much to do, but she was so weak. Such things frightened her to sleepless nights, leaving her with her thoughts and the worry of letting people down. Even if people she cared for let her down, she didn't want to do the same. Before she knew it, she was once again standing in front of the school, it was late, the sky's colours had long since faded to black. Scattered lights throughout the sky, as dim street lights were seen across the property. Standing facing the wall of a building, the girl would turn slowly and look across the courtyard, looking for something...Anything. Perhaps the meaning to her life, she had lived a quiet existence after entering Alaska, it slowly got crowded, bringing people into her heart.
Something she never wanted.
People make you weak.
But they can also make you strong.
Sighing a little, the young woman would lean against the wall and look at the street as the odd car drove by. She was merely lost in the dark shadows of the old school. Where light didn't reach, she stood masked and in thought. Watching as a happy pair made their way down the street, giggling about seeing their breaths. It was cold.
Was it now?
Addie had not even noticed the decline in the temperature. It had dropped considerately since the lovely afternoon. Where had she gone? Off on a journey to become strong. Exercising and looking for a fight. The brunette would find that her raison D'etre had become fighting. Searching for a way to become strong in a sea of large waves. She was nothing compared to them, but it could change. That is if determination and a will to keep going was shown, which was not something hard for the girl. It had become her main focus. There were no close friends to stop her or to help her, only ghost that drifted through her life from time to time. Disappearing and coming back, did they really make homes in her heart? Like a parasite searching for a victim, they had set up homes in her. They were not something to be forgotten. Yet, at the same time. Turning to them for help and directly asking...It was something unheard of.
Picking senseless fights.
A far more foolish way of getting things done, seemed to be the way for Addie Balfour. Instead of asking for help, she'd merely piss them off to the point where they'd not go easy. If at all she made them angry, or if they saw through the ruse. It didn't matter too much. Sitting down on the cold cement, the girl would stare past her tanned legs and across once more. Lost in thoughts about the fights she had been in. With those strong and weak. She was learning a little at a time. Addie was going to be someone to fear, not just the girls back home... But those near her. Maybe then, people would stick around her more often.
Sitting in the cold, Addie had the sudden urge, it was to once again see a close friend. Why? To get them to help her, well they'd not know its helping. Like being beaten by them was helping any goal they knew, it didn't matter. Pulling out her cell phone, she'd scroll down a list until finding a person. It was his turn next.
It was already night, it was already sometime around midnight. It didn't matter, all the more reason for him to be cross with her. He had to show up, she needed his help. Pressing send, the girl would tilt her head back, resting it against the brick wall and looking to the starry night sky. Listening to the almost faded laughter of the pair as they disappeared from sight and the passing of the car that covered over top of the speaking. It was a quiet cold night, perfect for some fun. Right?

Roy,
I need to talk to you.
Can you meet me at the school tonight?
