'So, explain to me why we're doing this again?'
David stood, still and silent, the female mind echoing throughout his head. He showed no outward change in appearance but inwardly he spoke back.
'I'm tired of explaining. You know why.'
'I think its ridiculous.'
'I'm sure.'
He stood before a long table, hands clasped in front of him as he awaited the arrival of the other members of regalia. He stared into nothing, trying to fixate on his symbol of Devotion.

Honestly, Emily felt more than a little off about this entire ceremony that Elise, David and almost everyone else had planned. All considering that they were pulling off something akin to a monarchy, one would wonder if this really had something to do with royalty or something of that sort.
Elise would finish tying a white and gold obi onto Emily's back. It more or less was a special obi that made Emily look like she was wearing a pair of butterfly wings along with a rather expensive looking dress. Emily had no idea why she was being forced into doing this so-called ceremony.
Nor did she even think it was necessary.
"Elise, Why are we doing this?" She asked, staring at herself in the mirror. The German woman only shrugged and tugged at the obi more, securing it.
"Formality."
A brown haired nurse would then chuckle as she adjusted a wig of flowing white hair onto Emily's head. It was albeit something a lot longer than Emily's old hair length, but it will do. "Don't you want to make sure your people are loyal to you?"
Emily frowned for a second in resignation.
Guess they've all made up their minds, huh?
It took about an hour, but Emily and the other females who had helped her get ready led a march outside to where the others were.
Where Regalia would begin formally as a "gang' so to speak.

It didn't take long but he'd gotten the message, so he was officially indicted within Regalia, he'd thought that odd. Causing Emily nothing but grief since Moral Crest would have sparked some suspicion and of course there was the simple fact of how much of Regalia's members showed a distaste for him even within the newfound rank he'd been admitted to. A dark little chuckle he'd found within himself, he wasn't even sure he belonged here to be quite honest, vouching dedication to solely Emily? It was an odd move for Gabriel to perform. Merely for political purposes he supposed.
"I'll be fine Villetta, leave me." He ushered the woman off who'd been dutifully ruffling at the black suited attire Gabriel had adorned himself in.
He was the Dark Prince after all. Nothing suited him better in this stance, black slacks as well as a black button up shirt. The red ominous hues staring out into the darkness. Certainly this would be one of two things; and interesting night or a total drole.
He'd arrived as expected to their formal meeting arrangements choosing a subtle corner to lurk in till he understood the overall plan of things.

One hand in the pocket of his black overcoat, the other clutching his black bokken, Alex looked more like he was part of a yakuza gang than heading to a ceremony. His short hair and the black glasses probably didn't help either.
But what could he say, it was sunny today, and he had to walk a bit. After receiving the message, it didn't take him long to leave, he really only had to throw on his overcoat, since he wore a dress shirt all the time, and his jeans were mostly covered by his overcoat, so he guessed it would be alright, and he rarely went out without his bokken with him. Reaching his destination, he strode in immediately, having no need to announce his arrival, he wasn't one for such... declarations. His footsteps echoing slightly, it seemed he had arrived just before Emily and her entourage entered the room. He stopped behind one of the chairs located at the long table, but did not take a seat. Instead, he opted to stay standing, continuing to shoulder his bokken.
The moment he heard footsteps enter into the room, he merely glanced sideways, his dark glasses still on, as he watched Emily enter in after the other female members of Regalia. No flicker of emotion crossed his face, he continued to look calm, as he waited for the ceremony to begin.

She'd offered to help, but one of the other girls behind her sister rebuffed her efforts. Not that she blamed them. She wouldn't want someone new helping their leader when said person was claiming to be some long lost sister either.
But that didn't take the sting away. She supposed there was no way she could be one of them. One, after all, could be as representative of a group as it wasn't. In this case, it probably was. It wasn't as though she could do anything about it, so she didn't bother.
With the code - it was more of a language, really; she just had to work out a few kinks - she'd been working on was coming along, though a bit slowly...
She sighed softly. The limo came to a halt before the same place her sister had brought her to before to begin her instruction with Timog... She stepped out of the vehicle, the door having been opened already by her chauffeur. She nodded at him, smiling. "I'll let you know when I'll need you to come get me," she said. It was a dismissal - her way of telling him to go do whatever he wanted to do. "At the least, two hours."
She entered the house, almost nervous. She wondered if she didn't look too out of place. Unsure of the dress code for the event, she'd worn something simple, but still decorative. A longer than normal, form-fitting shirt with slits in the sides from the hip to her thighs, where it ended. It was trimmed with silver and red, and the slacks she wore were dress-pants that billowed to give the illusion of a flowing skirt. Beneath those, she wore simple black slippers that she'd be able utilize in case of an emergency. They weren't unlike ballet slippers, and she wouldn't turn a heel in them.
Immediately, she caught sight of David and smiled. He was probably preparing for Emily's entrance. He was, it seemed, as dedicated as Kazuya, if not more. That was good. She nodded to him before seeking out Kazuya, who she knew would be here. She carefully avoided the gazes of some of the girls that she didn't know, and some she'd seen before.
As she searched for her possible future brother-in-law, she was appalled, shocked, and entirely horrified to find her eyes falling upon one Gabriel Seran. For a moment, she simply froze, her eyes filling with a fury that was far unlike her, even as her fisted hands shook under the strain with which she clenched them. The rictus of hate was far unlike her, but it was to be expected. He had, after all, dared to harm her sister.
When she got stronger, dammit, she'd be of more use. Then David might not leave her behind to save her sister... She forced herself to look away, not wanting to ruin Emily's day. And she saw Kazuya.
But her own mood was ruined now, and she had no intention of taking her dark feelings towards him lest they infect him as well. Instead, she simply forced a smile and nodded towards him.
Finally, her eyes fell upon her sister.
Emily.
She was her sister. Her twin from years and years ago. There was no way she could possibly forsake her. She couldn't turn her back on her. Ever. Immediately, some of the tension faded away. Emily... Emily wasn't stupid. Nor was David. Or Kazuya.
They wouldn't have let Gabriel enter into Regalia unless they - or Emily, at least - had something in mind for him.
She stood against the back wall, beside the door, simply observing her sister. Her sister, who was to be crowned.
Drea smiled with pride.

It had taken some time, but eventually Kev got the message and was told where to be. Okay so yeah, this was official huh? Coolness....she supposed. Dressing herself as she thought would be fitting of such a ceremony of sorts. Bah! She hated playing dress up. But she did none the less. For Emily she would. The dress she chose was simple and yet it made her look as beautiful as she ever had. In fact, on this day, there was something very different about her. She no longer held the brown hair that she had over the last couple of months. No, pulled atop her head in a loose bun, falling down in soft ringlets around her face was the jet black hair she had been born with. She was done trying to recreate herself into something different. Done trying to be something new. The old Kev was good enough and she would work to better herself from here on out, not hide and make anew. Leaving the house, she had her driver pull around so that she could get in. Sliding into the back seat of her BMW and giving him the address. Tonight should prove interesting indeed. ______________________________ Getting to the location, the driver would ope the door. Icy hues falling over the area as she moved to step out of the car. She was unsure about this. Mostly cause she felt so out of place. Yeah...she always thought she was a bit strange looking when it came to wearing dresses but meh...she could do this. Moving inside she would let her eyes scan over the rest of the people here. At least she knew them all. Heh... Moving to stand, of course, beside Gabriel, smiling softly as she looked up to him and then placed her hands in front of her, clasping them together. Her tone soft and as always affectionate toward him. "Hey. Mind if I lurk in your corner with you?" Please do not make a joke about the dress!!! She was so not sure she could handle that. She was already nervous about it damnit! Not to mention her whole look was different now. She had worked hard to conceal her soft feminine features, her delicate ways and structure. Tried to keep it all locked away so that nobody would think down upon her. But it had all changed. Not sure if Gabriel or anyone else would notice...But still nervous about the entire thing just the same. ESPECIALLY THE DRESS!! UGH! Now she would fall silent, biting her lower lip a bit nervously and lowering her eyes to her fingers which were now fidgeting in front of her. Waiting for all this to begin.

David stepped forward, turning on heel to look at the few who had come. A small group, collected, compacted- tied together soon enough. He had seen Emily enter, his eyes trailing over what she wore- a fitting garb for the queen of Regalia. He looked out at everyone, then spoke, his voice official and business-like.
"Regalia. Here, it begins in earnest."
He looked to Emily, then back to those before him.
"Myself and several others have taken the liberty of calling this meeting for one reason and one reason only." He paused a moment. "We was a dedication, a supplication and verbal as well as physical offering to Regalia, swearing your allegiance."
He stepped forward again.
"In order to save time, i'll show you exactly what i mean, and each of you will follow suit."
He knelt before Emily.
"I do hereby swear to adhere to the laws of Regalia, to devote my time, my energy, and my thought to its construction and to its leader, Emily del los Santos. I do so knowing that, so long as she lives, i am at her command, and will protect her and the interests of Regalia with everything at my disposal until she releases me, or death takes me."
He was handed a knife, stephanie stepping back in line. David drew the blade across his hand, blood pouring four eagerly. He spoke as he slowly cut into himself.
"A blood oath is given, bound by word and soul."
'You fucking idiot! Stop cutting yourself!'
'Shut up.'
'I won't let you do this to yourself!'[/color]
Water, from his own body, came to the wound, and froze over, forming an icy gourge across his hand. Totally covered, sealed, and painless. David smiled.
"My Qi has devoted me to this Vow. Let my life hereby begin as the Sword of Regalia."
'You planned that?'
'Yes.'
'I hate you sometimes, you know that?'
'Hnnh.'
He stood and turned back to those before him.
"You will each step forward and do the same, or walk away from Regalia forever. In this act, you show your devotion to the cause, and give trust to those who are trustless."
Meaning, mostly, himself. For he trusted none of them- though after this, each of them, even Gabriel, would be given it. The Qi, the oath, it would hold them to thier vow, and if the refused, they would be rejected from Regalia forever.
"There will be no questions. Swear it now, bind it with your Qi, or walk."

(ooc: figure I'll skip the order considering Emily reacting... =D)
Gabriel swooned there in the dark empty corner unknowing of what deeds were planned this night but surely he'd pay them some mind with a clever form of thought. Patience was the ultimate key and he had put the pieces into this position ultimately being at fault. Did Emily think him truly a good commander or simply using him for his strength? Of this he was still uncertain she often put on a different face with him, one perhaps she found tougher that could handle the rough exterior he presented unto this world. IT wasn't out of spite or hatred to them in general Gabriel simply knew the world as it was not some naive fantasy that others eluded to. Though he certainly dreamed to give them that very dreamland. Perhaps on another horizon he supposed, but for now it was necessary to dutifully serve as opposed to lead. This is what he'd insisted upon.
Eyes flitted down at his side where a familiar and yet so distant image hung there. She seemed so very much like Kevala yet the tomboyish facade she often wore with a mix of frivolous emotions were sheathed by a mask of beauty he'd never seen her enact. A small smirk fell into place on his features thinking of the many potential degrading things he could have said to push her away further into an elaborate ploy of having her devoutly following him. But when he came to speak they never revealed themselves rather he was a man of prestige and perfection. That of his royal loins, and every word was met with perfect detail and fluctuation of his French accent.
"You look elegantly stunning ma belle...." Gabriel shot a seducing charm in her direction admiring her feminine attire she'd never shown prior to this meeting.
Of course Gabriel had a bit of his own personal attraction to women of power who held themselves like princesses in formalities yet could be cut throat and heartless when all eyes were diverted.
His shifting eyes now faltering from their crimson to a now golden hue shifted onward to the entrance of Emily and David Blaze. Undoubtedly his showing was all too dramatic but Gabriel held a certain heart for that, he liked the theatrics it made life a bit more worthwhile and amusing while living it.
He watched as a new birth of Qi rose in his hand, that was new. Gabriel focused with interest. He'd have to take that into account shortly once they had a bit more alone time to divulge their abilities for Gabriel had grown as well never revealing his own truest abilities.
Then it was his turn at the stage. Prime and prim he'd face it with something of his own regality behind it.
"If you'll excuse me ma belle.." Gabriel said taking Kevala's hand only to kiss the flank of it and be gone with the gentle ease of a brief wind he'd continue forward passing David without effort. This was were he threw in his own bout of effort. A quick sharp noise exiting his belt and he drew forth the Sol Blade at his side. It's crimson coating shimmering in the noticeable light as he brought it forth. IT was quite a refined blade powerful and held symbolism. Sol signifying sun, Gabriel held the sun in his hand and manifested it's force and ability, that was his power to Regalia, for he was the sun.
His hand settling on the blade and a swift tug, his hand burning with the pain as a trickle of the stuff came dripping down the blades tip. His eyes settling briefly as the coursing power worked to control everything whilst Gabriel left it still.
"I swear my allegiance to the sol leader of Regalia, till my dying breath come or divination reclaims me."
His Qi burst there at near it's full extent burning away what fabric would lie beneath him. The would sealing over from the immense heat surrounding it. That power he had meant everything there, his heart was burning into it. From that moment he'd bow and stand to make way for the next to come. This would unite them all, or break them all.

( ooc: Gonna post cause yeah...what Ry said. >.> And I have permission to use Gabriel in this post. )
She looked up to him as he spoke, the sound of his words coming as a bit of a shock to her. She fully was prepared for the evil little comments that he was more than capable of giving that would have sent her right back into her shell after this event.
But he did not. Instead, he.....well he actually managed to make her feel....pretty. Ugh! Feeling the slight heat running into her face and smiling toward him.
As he excused himself, she watched, soon following behind and awaiting her turn. Okay, so this is what was expected of her?
She could handle this. Watching first with interest in her eyes as to what David did, then Gabriel. Oh the joys. Good thing she was used to bleeding for others. For this, she would do her best. Her loyalty would be sworn.
Only time would tell if it was for a good purpose or not.
As Gabriel moved, she would approach, her small hands holding to her dress as she bowed before Emily. Her head lowered out of respect for the girl who would now be her leader.
It was then she would take up the knife, her other hand coming forth as she brought the blade down across her palm. She made no sign of pain as the blood began to flow from her hand.
It was then she would activate her qi, the double of herself appearing beside her. Dressed in the same fashion as Kevala, the hair done up the same way and her palm extended outward, blood flowing from it now as well.
"I swear my allegiance to the leader of Regalia. I offer my loyalty and my life unto thee."
The words spoken from both her lips and the lips of the image beside her in perfect timing. A clear echo of her own tone.
It was then she would offer her hand to Gabriel, feeling his own wrap about such, his qi used to seal her wound. The clone doing the same in turn.
She would then rise and move to stand beside him, making way for the others to make their vows of loyalty.

She grimaced as she saw what David did. He bled his loyalty and proof. Then Gabriel and Kevala quickly followed him.
Foolish. To bind their Qi and themselves... Well, at least she knew that Gabriel wouldn't be a complete and total asshole... If he did anything, all of Regalia would destroy him. She considered waiting for Kazuya, but realized that there was no need. He wouldn't betray Emily were it in his power. Ever. He was too enamored with her.
But he'd probably still make his oath. Realizing that it would probably be the most fanciful - they were lovers after all - she decided to get hers out of the way. Less of a hassle and less of a problem and embarrassment to do after the possible fireworks, anyways.
She carefully walked forward, ignoring all of the others. She didn't bother touching the knife. Instead, she moved straight up to her sister.
"We share the same blood," she said, kissing Emily on the left cheek. "We share the same goals." she kissed her sister on the right cheek.
She gripped her sister's hands. "We share the opposing essences of our Qi." Here she was referring to her sister's offensive-based Qi and her own defensive-based Qi. "Do not betray me, and I will not betray you."
She smirked, slowly releasing her sister's hands. "Not that I could imagine either of us doing that anyways..." She stepped back, her smirk morphing into a smile, and freed the way for Kazuya.

His expression barely even changed as he saw Kevala come in, before his gaze flickered back to the door as Emily came in. His eyes hidden by his dark glasses, he watched as David took a knife, and swiftly drew it against his hand, letting blood flow, before giving his oath. One by one, each of those present followed suit, and before long, Alex was the last one left. Continuing to shoulder his bokken, Alex stayed where he was for a little while, before finally speaking. "... I do not swear to you as the Flame Master," He began, pulling off his dark glasses, and slowly opening his eyes, revealing his piercing gray eyes, fierce as a hawk, yet calm at the same time, "I swear my allegiance to you, as Kazuya Hikari. There are many things and people in this world that will rise up to oppose us. I will protect what I must protect." He then lifted his bokken up and held it in front of him, before engulfing it with his Qi, creating a flame sword.
The flames covering his bokken reflected the flames burning in his eyes, as he bowed before her. "That is my dedication." Even if your heart loves someone else. I will not allow anything to happen to you. He then straightened up and lifted his hand up, as he clenched his fist. "Long ago, I already gave you my pledge of loyalty. That hasn't changed." He then placed his glasses back on before engulfing his fist in flames, as he continued to look right at Emily, his red eyes extremely fierce and intense. He had no need to use the knife. It was already clear just how loyal Alex... no, Kazuya, was to Emily. She already knew. "... As proof of my loyalty to you, I throw away the name that I have been called by those that know me. I am no longer Alex... or Ryuu. I am simply, Kazuya now."

Emily didn't exactly know what to say. Even for her, this was a little over the top, but David, Stephanie, Elise and some of the other knights wanted this. Primarily because it would visualize their loyalty and to what degree that loyalty held on to. After Kazuya's oath, Emily looked behind her to see that her handmaidens were behind her, on their knees to offer their tributes as well. Elise however, was still standing, as she held carefully a circlet (same one as the one the MKR character Emeraude has except the crystals are not green, but clear) and a few pieces of white gold and platinum, and began to speak as she approached. "This is our oath to you, Emily; Regalia that matches you." Emily blinked. Did Elise just speak English correctly? She just smiled softly and looked at the ground for the moment, before she looked forward and smiled. Emily would take one piece of platinum, and by using her qi shape it into a small heart and with more use of her Qi, painfully melted the shape right onto her skin - like a tattoo, only bound by Qi. "I swear that I will do all that I can to protect 259 and to lead Regalia to the best of my abilities. I will protect whoever follows me, and shower compassion and understanding to those who fail to understand the mission Regalia wishes to take. Should I stray from this path, then the cost shall be my life. So help me God."With that, Sophia and Beth would stand and take the crown from Elise, carefully placing it on Emily's head, and Emily would take the small pieces of gold into her hand, molding it into several shapes. "David Blaze. Gabriel Seran. Please step forward."

David watched each in turn, a little surprised at Gabriels acceptance of the rules and his total devotion. It earned him yet again a little more respect- little by little. Still, the boy had a mountain to climb. Going through Kevela, David stared at Drea as she did what she did, frowning.
"Thats not-"
Hikari cut him off, doing his own personal display. He stared at them both with a cold ferocity. He stepped down from the dias and B-lined for the both. He stood before them, uncaring who else may be watching. What had been done was not some sort of pilfering promise given in blood- they would be held to it by thier Qi, and if they refused to do what was best for the crown, it would bring about sickness and weakness. The blood oath didn't just show flash and over-zealousness, it literally held you to your promises. He would slash out at them both, activating the second to the last level of his Qi, just to get the point across, smacking them both across the cheek.
"You disgrace this place, and Emily. You can't even follow a simple request, you need to do it "your way" based on a misguided feeling you have for her. This wasn't just for feelings and clamour- blood oaths healed with Qi bind us to our words, and both of you spat on it."
He would spit in thier faces, each so quick they seemed in unison.
"There- i returned the favor. You both disgust me, and have lost my trust. If you even care."
And with that he wouldn't even give them the respect of a comeback or a fight- he would turn his back on them, giving ultimate disrespect to his enemy. And they were enemies- for trying to go around thier pledge. He would step forward, ignoring alll but emily, even the faces of the girls and Gabriel. He stood before her, hands clasped behind his back, waiting for her instruction.

Kazuya's oath was not what David had said to do. But it was not David that he was swearing his loyalties to. It was Emily that he was intensely loyal to. She knew how deep his devotion to her ran, that words could not even begin to express it. He watched David from behind his dark glasses, unfazed by the cold fury etched in his face, as Kazuya deactivated his Qi, the flames dying down from his bokken. Even when David stepped down and made a line straight for them, Kazuya continued to stay calm. The only action he took, was standing slightly in front of Drea, his arm in front of her, almost like he was shielding her, and yet, not at the same time. Quicker than Kazuya could blink, he felt a strike against him, sending him to the ground, his bokken and glasses flying away from him, as a cut appeared on his cheek, blood running down his face, but Kazuya did not even lift his hand to wipe the blood away, he let it run, as he calmly picked his glasses and bokken up, unflinchingly calm about the sudden attack.
He let David's words fall onto the ground, continuing to look at him as he spat in Kazuya's face. He was neither infuriated nor insulted by it. He merely lifted his hand up and calmly wiped the spit off his face, he had no need to fight back or retaliate, even though David added insult upon insult by turning his back on him and Drea. For simply displaying a different form of his pledge, Kazuya had sealed his fate, becoming an enemy of David. But he and David were never friends, simply acquaintances. Kazuya did not care about David's opinion of him. He never cared about people's opinions of him, and only a few really mattered to him. David was not one of them. He watched the ceremony continue, as blood ran down his face, dripping gently onto the ground, as he continued to stand there. David could hate him with everything he had for all he cared. He would simply not move. Shouldering his bokken, Kazuya stayed by Drea's side. The only way Kazuya would ever leave, if he was ordered to, or knocked out.

Kevala felt the sudden anger and downright rage that came from David and her first initial reaction was to step back and into Gabriel. Yeah, when a guy has thrown you through a car and fucked you up several times, that is what reaction he got when severely pissed off and you did not know at who.
But then it became clear who his anger was directed at as he moved over toward Kazuya and Drea. Though as he spoke and proceeded to slap them both, then spit in their faces, she would not move from Gabriel's side.
She was not scared and Gabriel would know that...It was more a matter of self preservation in this moment. Not to mention she was not sure if his anger would shift again yet or not. So yeah, she was not in the mood to be disrespected tonight, nor was she in the mood to be hit.
But once David had said his peace and them returned to stand before Emily, Kevala would move away from Gabriel. Given he too would be moving to Emily now.
Finding her own place away from them as she clasped her hands in front of her and brushed her tongue slowly over her lips. Icy hues intent up on the three, though she noted how Kazuya did nothing....which spoke of his loyalty to Emily she believed. Though she dared not say anything. No, it was best to just...blend into the backdrop as she always did in group situations. A gentle bite applied to her lower lip now. Just....listening and watching.
