Mental Information

Personality:Most people describe her as firey and impulsive. In reality the first thing you need to know about Bastille is that she has three definite sides to her personality, not completely separate from each other, but not together either. The Witch, The Knight, and last…The Princess.


“The Witch”- First seen when Bastille attacks one of the correctional facility doctors, the personality states that this side of her has ‘finally been released’. Although born at the same time as the Knight, Bastille has been denying this side of her since the beginning and only recently has she given in to the urges this side makes her feel. Usually when operating under this personality Bastille wears a ‘wickedly evil smirk with humored eyes’. She comes across as finding amusement in everything, especially the dark, tragic, and depressing. This side only ever seems to make an appearance when toying with peoples minds under her ‘Lion Eyes’, Granting wishes, watching horrific or violent scenes, or in a fight. It however can be easily quelled or hidden again when things become boring to Bastille or important people to her appear in front of her. This side is described mainly as cold, distant, malicious, dark, melodramatic, calculating, cunning, and witty.



“The Princess”- Bastilles original personality, which is now the least seen side of her. Although it can come off as arrogant and snobbish, it is mainly the only side of her that shows kindness, or warmth of heart. It is generally charismatic, regal and just like ‘Witch’ is very able to read the hearts and notions of others. However while ‘witch’ feels no remorse, ‘Princess’ often will pity the people she looks at and sometimes avoids looking to closely. ‘witch’ has to work to use ‘Lions Eyes’, Princess often involuntarily sees through them. It is this side of Bastille that loves and laughs as well as the only side close to being normal, yet it is also this side that allows her to lead people instead of follow.


“The Knight”- The most prominent side of Bastille, it is what most people see when they meet the firey dare-devil. At first site this side is observant, quiet, withdrawn, distant and above all honorable and loyal. Although prominently holding all the popular traits of your average gallant knight, she is quick tempered and easily provoked. She is also never afraid to voice her opinions without any regard to the consequences. Never afraid to express what she loves and enjoys, she is also never afraid to express her true emotions and can often come off as bossy, and grumpy however also becomes easily lonely and around certain people even cries easily.

Description: Averaging a great 5’6” height, she is actually a very well put together girl. Having pale skin and naturally blonde hair suggests northern European decent. She had naturally crimson eyes, a weird gene defect with her family given to usually only one child in a generation and usually a male; however Bastille is the third female to have received it. Even though she is short, she has long slender legs, making fast movement easier, and proportionate arms as well as a very toned and built muscle system and stomach. Her breasts are larger then most girls prefer, and her ass is also nicely made, all naturally from her mother’s side.
Bastilles genes where mutated inside the correctional facility giving her hair the uncanny ability to grow exceptionally fast. So she has the option of wearing her hair long or cutting it short for the next two weeks and wearing it like that. It is one of Bastilles signature things to have everything but her bangs died in silver as it brings out her red eyes. As her personalities waver during the days so does her attires, and she can become shy and angry when people look at her showing off her body. On her lower back is a Black Fleur de Lis tattoo with wings spreading from it up and around her hips. Also she has a huge scar from where a poison blade was stabbed through her chest right under her left breast. She carried around her signature bomber jacket which is vintage, and also carries around with her either a huge duffle bag of fencing items, or a simple dark brown leather strap holding both her Britannica Domain Blade, as well as her Winder Slicer blade, which looks like a regular kendo blade.

Description of style:
Fencing is a family of sports and activities that feature armed combat involving cutting, stabbing, or bludgeoning weapons that are directly manipulated by hand, rather than shot, thrown or positioned. Examples include swords, knives, pikes, bayonets, batons, clubs, and similar weapons. In contemporary common usage, fencing tends to refer specifically to European schools of swordsmanship and to the modern Olympic sport that has evolved out of them.
Games. Currently, three types of weapon are used in Olympic fencing:
• Foil — a light thrusting weapon; the valid target is restricted to the torso, the chest, shoulders, and back; double touches are not allowed. This weapon follows the rule of "right of way"
• Épée — a heavy thrusting weapon; the valid target area covers the entire body; double touches are allowed. There is no "right of way"
• Sabre — a light cutting and thrusting weapon; the valid target area is the saddle line, which is from one side of your hip to the other and up, this also includes the head. The target area does not include the hands. This weapon follows "right of way"

Note: Bastilles favorite sword is a Sabre, but due to the fact she is not allowed actually sharp swords at school she carries around with her a dull Kendo Blade and personal favorite Epee that is also dull. She does carry around a Sabre which she obtained at the end of the correctional facility.

History Information

History:
Born into the Cunningham Family, an ancient family of knights to the Queen of England, Bastille was the third child to Alan and Rachyll Cunningham. Alan and Rachyll like everyone else in the family, where forced into an arranged marriage and as a rule, ordered to produce at least four children. The main rules of the Family were that no one married outside the family or royal blood, no one lived outside the Cunningham estate in Kensington, everyone must provide four children incase of death, illness, and to keep the marriage possibilities open, and that only the ‘Lions Eye’ gene holders could be head of house. Alan was the second son yet because his younger brother John held the ‘Lions Eye’ gene, both his older brother and himself where neglected in gaining any spit of leadership within the family. However at this point, Tyrus Cellium (Bastilles Great Grandfather) was still alive and in complete control of the House of Cunningham. All family matters where kept private from both country and outsiders, even the Queen which the family had sworn to protect did not know its dark affairs. Tyrus’ first son Locke obtained the ‘Lion Eye’ and after him was his third son John as we stated. But something happened that made Bastille closer to the head of house then she expected. John died before producing an heir to the Cunningham family. The ‘Lion Eye’ usually only showed up in the men of the family as a genetic problem, but in a few of the girls had it shown up…only two before Bastille. Bastille was born with bright blue eyes but at the time of Johns death had turned crimson red. Bastille was automatically named successor after her grandfather Locke.
Bastille, being the third child was immediately prized and served at every whim as ‘princess’. Her eldest sibling is Aiden Cunningham, and her second eldest sibling was Versailles (Vera for short), while her younger brother was Buckingham (Buck for short). Vera was forced to become Bastilles governess and teach her the ways to control the family and educate her in every way possible. Bastille for this reason resented Vera because this wasn’t done out of love but because Vera had simply been told to do it. She spent most of her childhood from the time she could walk learning every art and subject as well as refined sports such as archery, fencing, and horseback riding. At the age of 13, under special permission from the queen, Bastille was sent to serve in the Royal Air force. After returning she was educated on the art of lovemaking (Though never actually allowed to have sex), the art of mothering, and other various home economics. As her education continued, Bastille became more rebellious. Having learned things in being away from home for the first time she was no longer finding her home life meaningful. That was when Leon came.
At the age of 14 Bastille met Leon Discounts, the son of a wealthy Japanese-American business family who owned a large toy company that competed with the Cunningham’s industrial empire. As a result Sara and Yoshiro Discounts had traveled to England to make a pact with the Cunningham family, and they had brought their 17 year old son Leon with them as a gift. It had been a sunny day when…
“Who are you?” Leon asked quizzically having seen the girl dance among the flowers, happy to have snuck out of the garden successfully. She had been dancing for her governess and nana who had both left. Bastille stared back just as confused.
“Bastille Alana Violette Cunningham, what’s it to you?!” Her royal British accent softly coloring her words.
“Oh nothing, you just dance beautifully…I’m Leon.” He said with a smug smile.
“What are you doing outside my garden, are you peeping by chance?” She demanded.
“oh yes, loads of peeping…” He laughed, her language was different. As if she came from a different time.
Bastille had fallen in love with him that moment. Like Queen Victoria had found Prince Albert, Bastille had found Leon. They spent 6 months sneaking out together and enjoying each others company. When she was head of the family, she would change the rules…and marry Leon. She had decided.
But upon the eve of her fifteenth birthday Leon had vanished. She had been told by the ladies of the house he had left home along with his family, and others who knew nothing of their romance whispered that Leon had been kidnapped and that his parents where looking for him. Late that night, distraught and mystified, Bastille wandered the halls looking for her missing hair ribbon. That was when she heard Leons voice and she ran towards the dinning hall. Her heart pounded, had he snuck in to see her? Finally she could hold him and ask him what had happened. She would smack him for missing a meeting, but she would be elated. She was elated. So happy…Leon, Leon, please be in the dinning hall. She would kill herself if she had to open another door. She heard a movement inside the room and with all her effort shoved open the doors. Outside lighting struck down almost dramatically making Bastille reel back a bit. She however let her eyes adjust to the dim light and saw Leon. Running, she ran up to him so happy to see him. Then it registered, standing above him, holding his lifeless form, was her father…a sword stabbing through his throat. Bastille skidded to a stop and stared at her father unable to blink. He chuckled and dropped the kid walking past Bastille and out into the hall. Slowly, slowly…Bastille bent down feet from his body and touched the kitchen knife Leon had probably used to try and defend himself.
“Stupid…stupid…stupid…” She chanted before slowly reaching out to touch Leons shoulder. She couldn’t do it. Instead she hugged her knees and hid under the table to shocked to cry as people came rushing in to clean up the scene. Her father came back in, later…when the servants complained they couldn’t find Bastille, and by her hair yanked her from under the table. He then proceeded to smack her and his ringed fingers cut her face slightly. Bastille didn’t budge, only gritted her teeth until she could take it no more and slammed her father into the table. She pulled off her jabot and tied him to a chair by his neck, then with little hesitation, grabbed a dull foil from the Cunningham seal above the fire place and ran. She ran for what seemed like years. The orphanage found her crying on a bench in the rain and took her in, not knowing who she was. Bastille stayed there for two days until Sara and Yoshida Discounts came in looking for their son off a rumor that the orphanage had just picked up a teenage kid from unknown origins. They saw Bastille and adopted her, somehow knowing what had happened.
Bastille stayed until she was 15 and a half before becoming an assassin for various agencies, ending with Amalgam. Bastille then met Gilgamesh. She had become a emotionless knight. Her personality splitting into many pieces, her heart even more. Shattered, too sharp to put back together. One night on a mission, now 18 she was on a mission to follow a pair of corporate monopolist. On the roof overlooking them she was attacked by an other assassin code named Gilgamesh. Bastille would later call him “giggles” or “Blonde Bastard”. He two fashioned off crimson eyes and naturally blonde hair, though at this point Bastille had taken to dying half of her hair silver. They didn’t hit it off so well, and it was only by a slim margin that Bastille won the fight, only to be imprisoned by him later. For a month he kept her hostage, and then vanished. In that time she had managed to become somewhat addicted to him, but like always…decided it best to leave it behind. She had met Homi when she on her 16th birthday when Homi had destroyed a town. Bastille, having pitied her…sheltered her and tamed her on the side and then Homi was able to go back to Japan and live the life Bastilles foster parents wanted her too, going to school for her and being normal. Bastille returned to Homi and both agreed to move to the United States where no one would find them.

Bastille moved to 259 because it was her choice not to be in a school where she would be noticed as different. Besides, she considered herself extremely messed up already. Off the bat she caught the eye of Mathew Amtrum who quickly dueled her and beat her, forcing her to be his slave. Bastille begrudgingly followed, having more priority on her honor then her dignity. She served him until the correctional facility forced them apart. Bastille was imprisoned and experimented on. Towards the end of her stay at the correctional facility Bastille was forced to fight both Amtrum and a child. Bastille saw her younger brother in the child, and thusly was unable to fight him. She battled her way out of the facility, passing out as the facility collapsed on top of her. She woke up in a hospital weeks later remembering everything but reluctant to return to school.
The Correctional facility had injected her with chemicals, sending her qi out of control and thusly uncontrollable, however for a time she was able to put it to sleep. Vera and Buck however came to retrieve their sister at the death of Tyrus so that she may study under her grand father Locke. Bastille, refusing, was forced to battle them as well and in turn was shot through the chest in an unfair fight. It was during this time she met David Blaze. Bastille then, along with everyone else, transferred to 42.

Details: The weapon was found, laying nearby Bastille Cunningham, as “Kaufman” proceeded to clear the room of all hostile Enforcers. Nearby was the body of a recently collapsed boy with blond hair, who had evidentally just dropped it on the girl's chest. The last few words that Kaufman heard the boy mumble was “Siegfried” and... “Sis”

The boy had to be taken to the E.R. for multiple third-degree burns scattered about his body, as well as many jagged cuts about his thighs. Blood loss was high. Signs of bruises and other injuries were found especially around his head... The possibility of brain damage being high. It is unknown as to how the boy, in his condition was able to survive the gas, survive the explosions, obtain the blade, and seemingly knowingly deliever it to the girl. Just one of the many mysteries of the aftermath of the Correctional Facility incident.

However, the blade is an amazing piece of art. It is unknown as to who exactly smithed the blade, but the alloids and metal used in it is perfectly designed to not cut anyone, bur more rather instead, be used as a typical rapier, except perhaps in the fact that it can cause a world of hurt upon its high-impact thrusts, slashes, etcetera. The blade itself was smithed to a pristine purple, cooled in oil and wine as it was processed and heated over and over again. As for the sheath, it makes for a great guarding tool, as some early tests have found that while the impact of a blow on the sheath can rattle the user holding onto it to parry a block, the sheath, nor the blade itself for that matter, will ever receive a scratch. Metal wraps around in an intricate design around the user's hand, providing excellant protection for anyone trying to disarm the user. The only way that the name of this weapon is known is from the engraved English runes that were engraved on the inside of the sheath, which is the reason for the different names in the different languages. Truly, a fine piece of work, fit for royalty.

Qi Description: The complete control over the inner energy of one's body, gathering it into one arm, before expanding it to a finger so as to fire it like a gun of Qi. It takes immense concentration and control, as well as aim. It doesn't have to be fired out either, it can be gathered and held in the hand or body to increase abilities such as Strength, Constitution, and Speed.

First Level: Default
Bastille is able to shoot a single "Bullet" per day, with the same power of her Cha. (The Qi travels with a Dex of her Cha score and hits with a Str of her Cha score.)

Bastille can now shoot three "Bullets" thought a secondary ability seems to have appeared in retaining the energy into the fists, causing her to be able to move faster and hit harder. +5 Str and Dex.

She is soft spoken and keeps to herself like echo, however finds the love in literature and the arts. She is known for her intelligence above her assassin abilities but can pack a pretty good punch. Above all she hates Conrads care free attitude.
	Ashura Smart- One of the only male assassins at Amalgam he is usually regarded to as the universal pervert. He is also the companies most prized doctor and scientist though he is really more fun loving when fighting. He has a secret love for Liesal but will never admit it and spends his time flipping skirt.
	Maria Lesstynger- Not an assassin of Amalgam but she is the envoy for a sacred order of ancient knights. She keeps relations between them and Amalgam peaceful and is not a bad fighter herself.

Others
	Lola Reynolds- Works at the shooting range with Bastille. She looks up to Bastille as a big sister type. Her past in unknown and even Bastille is curious as to who she really is.
	Aiden Cunningham- Bastilles elder brother and the eldest son of Alan Cunningham. In trying to replace Bastille, the family preformed medical experiments on Aiden trying to give him the ‘Lions Eye’, however it failed, ruining one of his eyes. This left him sort of deranged although he comes off as gentlemanly and cunning. People describe him as a demon fox. His hatred for his younger sister consumes him.
	Versailles Cunningham & Buckingham (Buck)- ‘Vera’ for short, she is Bastilles elder sister. Buck is her younger brother by three years. The two travel together trying to find a way to over power Bastille and dethrone her. Vera is arrogant and snippy while Buck is a care free and usually happy guy though he hates Bastille for leaving him behind.
