Well something was up. She just brushed aside what he said. Was she embarrassed at the close proximity? Ryu didn't have such issues any more, at least for something as benign as what had just occurred, though it would probably be different for the temporarily crippled person sitting in the chair. No, Ryu's issues lay in the more..intimate situations. While he'd somewhat gotten used to her being topless while he tended to her ribs, there were those couple of instances when she needed to bathe... That was decidedly the worst embarrassment he'd ever felt. Hell, he was quite sure his cheeks had bruised slightly for the blood rushing to them that time... "The guest bedrooms, though there's even less to see of them than your room."
Piloting her past the hall closet, he pointed it out vaguely, nodding toward the door. "That's a hall closet. Nothing in there yet, so showing you would be pointless. And this is the common bathroom." Moving past the both doors on the left. No real need to show her every little detail. While she wasn't an infant who would be overwhelmed with too much stimulation, taking in everything all at once would probably be difficult for her. "And these," He said, beginning to turn the next corner into the larger half of the already large hall, "Are the guest bedrooms. They're all pretty much the same thing. I think one of them is smaller than the others." He'd open the door to the first one, and flick on the light as he wheeled her inside.
Two beds, a couple of dressers, a handful of tables, and a large walk in closet. Simple. Hell, smaller bathrooms could have been put in here as well. Perhaps even small kitchen set ups, but the one downstairs was large enough to accommodate the nutritional needs of a small army. All in all, one could easily call just one of these rooms an apartment. The size of the place truly was tremendous. Wheeling her back out, he'd head back up and through the archway that lead to the second floor living area. It was the same as it had been a week ago. Large spiral stairs, TV, furniture, fireplace.
Here he'd stop, wheeling her into the relative middle of the room. Walking around in front of her, he'd sit on the arm of a large couch. "So, what do you think so far?" Opinions were nice, especially from the person you were going to be living with for who knows how long?

Mitsukai listened quietly as the little tour continued on. Taking a good look around at the place that she would be staying at. It was kind of interesting in a way though normally interior design and stuff like that were not things Mitsukai had much of an interest in.
"So, what do you think so far?"
"I am impressed the place looks good." she answered honestly. There was not much else she could really comment on though. Like mentioned earlier stuff like this was not her speciality but of course mansions tend to be nicely designed for the taste of the wealthy. For Mitsukai so long as the place she stayed in suited her basic needs she was satisfied.

Ryu nodded a little. "Yeah, but how do you like it. How it looks isn't as important as whether or not you'll be comfortable here." He said, motioning slightly with his hands to express the point. "A house is a house to me, more or less. I look more for practicality of the place than aesthetics or anything." He said with a slight shrug before standing up off the arm. Hell, he'd probably be willing to go get another house, pawn this one off on some other poor schmuck. The place was nice, and it was certainly convenient what with the third floor training area. Locker room. Sauna. Even had a spacious office for business dealing if need be.
Pointing a thumb back behind him, "That heads up to the third floor, obviously enough." He was pointing to the circular staircase. "Like I said, there's a training area up there, among other things. That's where we'll be doing your physical therapy when you can make it up those stairs. Or at the very least we can get you up there without any issue." Walking back towards her, he'd wheel her in the reverse of the course that took her up here on the stretcher the first day. Rounding the corner, he headed for the top of the stairs that headed down and stopped. This was where things got a little tricky. Best thing to try for was pick her, up, sit her on the stairs, or even maybe a chair that he could set up over here, take the wheelchair down, then come back up and carry her down the stairs.
Yeah, that seemed like a good idea.

"Yeah, but how do you like it. How it looks isn't as important as whether or not you'll be comfortable here."
Mitsukai gave him a small smile. "To be honest I am pretty good living anywhere. I don't have high standards, so long as the place has four walls, a roof, and enough space for at least one person to live in I am alright." It was the honest truth, Mitsukai could live anywhere. Even a one bedroom apartment would be fine with her. Heck at her size she didn't really need much space at all to survive. It was good to see that Ryu also thought the same way too. So long as the conditions were survivable it seemed they could live anywhere.
After that Ryu started explaining what was upstairs. It was a shame that Mitsukai would not be seeing that place now. The training area would be no doubt the one place she would most likely spend most of her time in after recovery. Oh well there was always a next time. For now at least they were going to go take a better look downstairs. Though Mitsukai did not know exactly how they were going to pull that off, the stairway was not exactly wheelchair accessible. It would be a pain in the ass to try to move down there. So how exactly was Ryu planning to get her down those steps, not to mention back up later.

Thinking about it, he realized that putting a chair there was the best idea. Much better than sitting her down on the stairs. That might turn her away from the idea altogether. "Give me a second." Leaving her near the top of the stairs, he walked back into the living area. With a grunt or two, he hefted a huge cushioned armchair from the open room and carried it back down the hall, and walked past Mitsu. He set the thing down with a bit of a thunk against the wall some distance from the stairs.
He turned back around and moved behind her, "There, now you can sit there while I move the wheelchair down stairs. Then I'll carry you down." He said, wheeling her over to the arm chair. Sure, it would be a bit arduous for him. Up and down twice each trip, but it was fine. Not like they would be making said trip often. She wouldn't be going anywhere until it would be unnecessary for him to carry her. Aside the fact that carrying food all the way up here to a place she could easily eat, there was rarely any reason for either of them to be downstairs.
Holding out a hand to her, he'd help her get out of the wheel chair and into the arm chair.

"Give me a second."
Mitsukai watched Ryu walk off only to come back carrying a big arm chair towards her. She cocked an eyebrow as he set it down and wheeled her towards it.
"There, now you can sit there while I move the wheelchair down stairs. Then I'll carry you down."
She nodded in reply, taking his hand she got up off the wheel chair and onto the armchair.

Ryu raised an eyebrow whilst turning away from the girl and hefting up the wheelchair. He hadn't expected her to take so keen to the idea of him picking her up and walking around with her. Yeah, sure, it was the only option, but that didn't mean she was going to like it...right? ...Or did she like the idea? ...Ryu shook himself of those thoughts as best he could and proceeded to lumber down the stairs. The one he'd gotten her wasn't as bulky as other motorized wheelchairs, but it was still pretty heavy, almost as heavy as that arm chair he'd just moved. It wasn't so much that it was difficult, it just wasn't particularly easy to carry down stairs.
What about the girl, you ask? She was lighter than either of them.
Setting the chair down with a slight grunt at the bottom of the stairs, Ryu went back up, footsteps silent now that he was unburdened by the bloody chair. "Alright, you next." He said to the girl, walking over to the chair. He moved around to her left side and reached a hand behind her back, and his left under her knees. At least her leg had healed up enough by now that he could do this sort of thing without worrying about damaging it.
Hefting her up, he'd let her get situated in his arms before going anywhere. "You okay?"

Mitsukai watched in silence as he took the wheelchair downstairs. Yeah she was well aware that soon would be her urn but she chose not to think much of it. Why? Well because thinking about it might make her act a little odd about it....or at least something along those lines anyway if she let her mind focus on that too long. Besides there was no other option besides this after all right?
She couldn't help but think about how strong he must be to carry those chairs about with seemingly little difficulty. Sure she had fought him before and knew first hand his strength but moments like these still made her a bit surprised. It was just like with Katsuri when it came to the man's height. Hell even when she lived with the man and saw him everyday she still couldn't help but think 'Wow he's so fucking tall, how the hell can anyone be that fucking tall?'. Ryu was kind of tall too but he was more of the average height of the rest of the male student body at school, besides she shouldn't talk. The poor girl was only five feet either way she always had to look up to people.
"Alright, you next."
She blinked in surprise at the sound of his voice. She had not notice his arrival while her mind had been wandering. Really her mind seemed to be doing that a lot lately. Was that because she was simply bored or was it because Ryu was around, it seemed to do that A LOT since she had been staying with him......
......weird......
ANYWAYS >.>
Of course while she was distracted....again <.<, Ryu had already lifted her up and she found herself nestled upon his chest.
"You okay?" She nodded silently, a small blush creeping up on her face at the realization of the close proximity. It was strange to be carried like this she had never been carried before in such a manner while conscious. Unless you count the many times someone grabbed her by the throat or the collar of her shirt only to slam her into something. Maybe she should start wearing a spiked collar or something, at least then people would stop doing that.
Okay you REALLY need to stop doing that! she chided herself, damn why couldn't she keep focus at all today?

It was so much easier carrying human beings. Particularly while they were awake. The dead weight of sleep made things a little bit difficult, but such a heavy oddly shaped object such as those chairs... Yeah, even if she was heavier than they had been, she would be easier to carry. There was probably some shit about support and being responsible for someones life to expand on it, but that was all besides the point. Especially for Ryu's psycho ass, though he did want to protect the girl in his arms... Meh, it was all confusing psychobabble bullshit anyway. Moving to the stairs, he took careful steps with the girl. Beside her leg, which was indeed the most pressing, her ribs would jostle painfully if he just stomped down the stairs like he had with the chair. Not good. So slow and easy is how he went. To be honest, he could probably take her up the spiral stairs like this, but he didn't want to risk it, being that they were somewhat narrower. That curve didn't help, either. That would make getting the chair up there difficult. Not like there was anything for her up there right now any way. The sauna couldn't possibly do anything to help at the moment, and otherwise there was just a cleaned out locker room with WAY too many lockers for anything they were going to be doing, the empty training area, an empty weapons closet, and an empty office. It was about half way down the stairs that Ryu too, would become aware of their situation. Even amid a fight and its ground based tussle, he'd never had someone lean against his chest before. Being that it was decidedly not in a combat situation, he actually found it nice. Subconsciously, his grip over her shifted slightly, holding her slightly closer. At least her arm wasn't around his neck like it might other wise be in this position...that would have probably made things awkward again.... He gulped slightly as he brought her down the rest of the stairs, slightly anxious to put her down before she did put her arm around him. Descending into the main hall, she'd be able to see the massive space once again. It was almost a waste, how much room the two main halls in the house took up. You could have thrown in more rooms, or even more storage areas. There was the basement among other things, but still. Oh well. He wasn't about to remodel the whole fuckin' place. ((And neither am I ._.; ) Reaching the bottom of the stairs, he'd set her down carefully into the wheelchair. "There." They'd probably both be relieved to be out of that close proximity as Ryu moved behind the chair. "This is...probably not where we're going to be spending very much time at all, but this would be where people who came here would spend their time." He then added in a lower voice, "Not that many people would be coming here..." Because he wouldn't fucking let them... But that was besides the point.

Mitsukai tried to keep some of her focus on the present, while at the same time not paying TOO much attention to their current situation. Naturally to try to avoid anymore awkward situations. Something that was decidedly hard to do with this pair but she would at least make the effort to try. It didn't help much however when Mitsukai felt herself being slightly drawn closer to Ryu....Yeah it was a good thing she had not placed her good arm around him during this time. Sure she thought for a moment that it would help prop her up better but at the same time it would just make things even more awkward....which was something she was trying to avoid at the moment.
At least for both of their sakes the situation was over and done with for now >.> when Ryu finally made it downstairs and placed her back in her chair.
"This is...probably not where we're going to be spending very much time at all, but this would be where people who came here would spend their time."
"Okay." she said, it made sense at least since after all while her leg was healing she could not move around freely. Not without Ryu's help to go down the stairs, something that neither of them, especially Ryu should be doing too often. That and of course it all depended on what exactly was down here, something of course she was about to find out.

At the moment, there wasn't a whole lot of shit down here. Very bare bones. The only thing he'd added to was the armory, and even that was a very small amount. Just what he still carried around with him. He had been making regular visits to his local black market contacts, though, picking up new blades and a handful of guns. Still no where near filling even a fraction of the room. It was, arguably, the biggest room on the first two floors. The whole house, if one doesn't count the training area up stairs as an actual room. Pretty sure you could throw away the 'arguably', too.
Gripping the plastic handles, Ryu pushed her around the stairs. Start small, go down the hall and show her the waiting room and sun room. S'what he was thinking, and s'what he did. "Side hall." He said simply as he pushed her through the small opening. It was arched like the rest, but smaller than most of the other entryways in the house. Even smaller than some actual doors. A little backwards, but what are you gonna go?
The size of an actual hall in a normal house, Ryu moved to the closed door on the left, and opened it. "Waiting room. If any one comes to see either of us, they'll be sent here to...well...Wait." Of course, it looked like a cozier version of a hospitals waiting room. Seating everywhere, a fireplace in the far wall, random paintings on the walls. All in all, it looked more like an oversized den than anything else. Yes, there was a fireplace in nearly every room of the house. The walls were lined with insulation, solid steel, and bulletproof materials. They could take the innumerable chimney's passing through them. Shit knows the roof was an insane mess.

Mitsukai took a look around the place as their little 'tour' continued. Not much to see compared to upstairs she guessed but hey the place was big enough that it would be hard to fill in all that space after only just getting it right? Besides she alone would not have nearly enough things to fill half of one room.
The only thing that caught any real interest at all was the fireplaces. There was literally one in every room. Why in the world did there have to be a fireplace in every room? It was not like she did not like fire, she liked fire but really.....why so much -_-....
ANYWAYS >.>.....she simply kept quiet, listening to Ryu talk in that deep voice of his as he showed her around. Not much to say really, not like Mitsukai was a critic or an interior designer so she didn't have much to comment on, besides it was kinda nice to be able to move beyond the bedroom anyway.

Why the fireplaces? Because you could live in one room forever in that house. Having only one would defeat the purpose of having any at all. 'Course Ryu didn't think of this, but that was what had been in the mind of the fucker that had built this place some small number of decades ago.
Pulling her backwards out of the room, he closed the door behind them and moved further down the hall. "Down there is just a bathroom and a small closet. This one, though, is more or less the prize of the first floor, if you like this sort of thing." He said, gripping the knob to the Sun Room door. Cracking it open, light flooded the hall as the late fall sun encroached on the 'east' side of the house. By the houses design, it was the east wall, but the house was South Facing, meaning that the East wall faced almost cardinal west. Thus, through the positively massive windows that encompassed the north and east wall as Ryu wheeled the girl in, massive amounts of sunlight poured into the room.
Unfortunately, it wasn't quite sunset just yet, but the sun was beginning to fall to the west, the sky already a pale blue of dusk. The color it was just before it started to turn purple, then red. "Obviously, this is the sun room. It probably would have been better suited to be at the back of the house where the patio and backyard and such are, but...." The room was surprisingly cool since the sun had been on the other side of the house for most of the day, and the place was littered with furniture, somewhat like the waiting room, only much more lounge like. The west wall in this room held the fireplace, and around it were larger couches, big puffy ones, typical of sitting around the fireplace.

Mitsukai was amazed by the sun room, it was something she had never seen before except for in this one anime. Though of course in that anime the view of outside was of a rich assortment of trees, flowers, and different types of plants. This place didn't have as much as that but it was still pretty nice, the scenery was very nice. The many different hues of brown, red, and yellow of the fall trees made it look amazing from their standing point.
She smiled a little looking out at the distance. The light bouncing off her eyes giving them a faint glow. She knew what place she would spend her time in when she was bored and needed something to sketch.

"Like this room huh?" He said, glancing down at her. Humoring her, Ryu wheeled her about the room. Not that one could tell except for the fact that it was slightly oddly shaped, but one of the windows in the east wall was a massive sliding glass door. There was a sidewalk like path that led down the side of the house to the small patio by the dining room, then from there continued to wrap around the house until it reached the real patio in the back. It, however, probably wouldn't be a good idea to go outside, even though they were practically in the middle of nowhere. Not until she didn't care if people knew where she was or not. Never know who managed to track down Ryu's records. It would be a damn hard thing to do, but any one who could cover tracks like Ryu had the ability to could undo his work as easily as he could theirs.
Completing a circuit around the room, he led her back out and closed the door behind him. "While it's relatively safe, spending too much time in there might not be a good idea, given the size of the windows. Any one who actually manages to find this place would be able to see inside unless you drew the blinds...which would defeat the purpose." He finished with a slight 'duh' tone as he wheeled her back down the hall.
"Well, that's the small part of the first floor." He said rather plainly, somewhat hoping for a reaction from her. If THAT had been the small part, when the waiting room alone could have been a 2 or 3 bedroom apartment? Reaction or no, Ryu pushed the chair back into the huge main hall. What sunlight made it in lit the place rather dramatically, the walls glowing with a dull orange, giving everything a sort of tanned look. From here, he took her in a sort of zigzag. Although they only went one part of said ziggage at the moment. Crossing the hall, he wheeled her through a massive archway that led to the living room. The place rather looked like a combination of the waiting room and his bedroom. Although it wasn't as big as the latter.
With not one but two fireplaces in the west wall and several somewhat distinct areas, the place was massive. Several TVs, bigger than the one in the second floor living area, were strewn about the place with couches surrounding. As usual, there was seating carefully placed around the fireplaces which were relatively right next to one another. Some of the areas of the room were rather bare. Unbeknownst to either of them, those areas had been host to games. Pinball machines and likely a pool table. Things that Ryu would probably be adding at some point, depending on the people who ended up living with them.
