During lunch inside the cafeteria there stood a student standing on a chair shouting messages about the ever so popular Exiles.
For the past couple of weeks it seem as if everyday, during a heavily crowded area, there would always be a pair of students giving out free membership emblems and recruiting people. Despite the redundancy of it all, the ranks of the exiles are always being increase with different students, with different goals, all working together to accomplish it.
Today is no exception to this campaign to recruit as many students as possible to accomplish a higher goal set up by the leader of it all, Cliff Blackheart. Now there was two chairs in the cafeteria, one occupy by a junior shouting the usual message with great energy, and a senior wearing a black bandanna sleeping by a box filled with emblems attach to cards with the groups address.
“Everyone the facts are in! Violence has been drastically increasing in the school system!” shouted the junior.
“There are more beatings, more violence, and more suffering now then there has ever been in this school system! And yet that is not even the worst part of it all! The worst part, if you want to believe it or not, is that we have been abandon. We are force to fend for ourselves and if that is not bad enough, we are also force to depend on a few select students to defend us. We are at there mercy!”
“Yet walk down the school on any day of the week and you will see, as painful as it might be, you must except the fact that this does not work. We cannot depend our entire life, and well-being on the whim of a few students. Students that try to act like hero’s and are yet the exact opposite.”
“I ask you all what makes them a hero? Is what makes a hero simply a strong fighter who has the power to protect us, and yet able to crush us without a single hesitation? Is a hero simply a strong fighter who we glorify and fling ourselves to them begging for protection or forgiveness?”
“Well if that is what makes a hero then I want to ask you all, are we really that pathetic? Are we so pathetic that without this so call hero’s we are merely dust in the wind? Well here is not only my answer to that question, but also The Exile answer to that question! We don’t need these hero’s and together we can prove that we are not as pathetic as they believe us to be!”
“Join the Exiles, and even if you are weak now, we will support each and everyone of you, and together we will be strong enough to make this world ours like how it should be!”
“Membership is free and all we ask of you is that you help us make you stronger. Our leader Cliff Blackheart has a vision of how this world should be, and he is offering you this chance make this a better place for us all.”
As he spoke more people gather around him, and straggly enough majority of the people there already had the emblem sew onto their clothing, and more people where approaching the sleeping senior to receive a emblem unaware who he was.
