"Astrid, sweety, we're home...Let's get you inside so you can eat this pizza.. I'll help you. You can hold onto me."

Eury would smile and extend her hand to help Astrid out of the car. Afterwards she would place Astrid's arm around her waist to indicate to hold onto her there while she grabbed the pizza boxes and closed the car door. Gently Eury would led her up the stairs taking it as slow as Astrid needed, till they got to the door and Eury unlocked it; pushing it open and bringing her inside, the door closing behind them. Eury escorted Astrid further in towards one of the living rooms, yes they had two. This one was smaller than the other. Truthfully Eury specifically designed it for Leon. Anyways, Eury would bring Astrid over to the couch and set one box on the table in front of her, holding the other in her grasp.

"Just relax and I'll get us some paper plates and some soda.. Coke right?"

Whatever it was that she wanted Eury would go into the kitchen and get it. Leaving the other box in the oven for Leon, if he actually came home today. Whilst in the kitchen getting the paper plates and soda's, Eury made a call to Kilik asking for him to send a doctor over tomorrow for Astrid. Deciding not to explain in detail then, she ended that call and came back, taking a seat next to Astrid. Giving her a smile as she turned the T.V. on.[/font][/ul]

Astrid had indeed fallen asleep and it was one of the first real sleeps she had in some time. Not knowing that they had stopped or anything, she was soon brought about by a gentle shake to her little form.

The sound of her Aunt's voice entering her mind and those eyes slowly beginning to flutter open. She would then look to see that they were ..........

home..........

The concept was still strange to her, but she would say nothing. No, intsead she would allow her Aunt to help her out of the car and into the house. Her eyes scanning over the place. She did so love how something so large could still seem so homey. It was a pleasant change from the small, cramped apartment she had been staying in.

Moving to take a seat on the couch she smiled up to her Aunt, eyes following that pizza as though it would run away if she did not do so.

Sneaky pizza! It could always grow legs and run. NEVER!! MIEN!!!

Her stomach offering up a growl at the thought. Yes,...she would devour said pizza and show it just who the boss of it really was.

Smiling as she kept her thoughts to herself and nodding once more.

"Yes, coke would be fine. Thank you."

Always polite. But everyone knew that she had been raised in the traditional fashion of the Sudeki clan and well, that was all about being proper and having manners and the ability to care for the men of the family. To be a good wife and mother.

But tradition to them. Nothing more and nothing less. It was the way of life. As the box was set down she had to really search herself for that inner control....her hand slowly sliding off of her lap and toward the box.

It was a box of pizza......in the middle of a Sudeki household.....where more than one Sudeki was known to linger....It was like the last piece of meat in the middle of a pack of lions that were starving.

It could be gone at any moment!

So, she would flip the box open, swearing she heard the angels above sing as the pizza came into sight.

Her hand darting out to snatch up a piece and of course.

"Mien! Don't be Ms. Greedy with me, missy... I'm eating for two over here"

Eury would laugh as she began to take bites of her slice. Totally disregarding that she had basically just informed Astrid that she was pregnant again. Again Eury didn't have that obsession but hey the little bun in the oven was demanding it. Oh yes the infamous cravings are slowly beginning to start. Eury's eyes remained on the T.V. watching whatever movie was on, as she sipped on her can of Coke and ate her pizza.[/ul]

She would giggle softly as Eury mad the comment about the pizza...then it sank in what she had said.

"Y..You are pregnant?"

She was absolutely lit up with the thought.

"Congratulations Aunt Eury!"

She would smile brightly and then snatch up another bit of pizza. It was a big deal in her mind and in the family's mind to have another Sudeki to be born to this world. Their numbers were growing so small, it was only right that they cherish each new life.

Sure the main branch of the family was a bit stuffy on the matter but meh...they were snobby at best. Not that she would not show them just as much respect. Just..yeah..she had met her cousin who had just came here.

He was not happy about Spike's relationship with Kevala. Which she understood given the woman was a Katashi. But still. He even looked down upon Astrid because of her birth as a branch member.

Shaking her head to pull it from random thought she would turn those brown eyes back to her Aunt.

"So any idea around when you are due?"

Yes she was very excited.
