Basic Information[/u]
Name: Adrian Hanlon
Age: 18 (dropped out for a year, is still a Junior)
Height: 6'0"
Weight: 207 lbs.
Blood Type: A fitting AB-
Gender: Male
Sexuality: Straight
Eye Color: Blue
Hair: Blonde
Pass Time Information
Hobbies: Watching television, relaxing, working out, laughing at the under-priviledged.
Talents:Condescension, Arrogance, being a Blue-Blood. Boxing, politics, being charming. Fighting and talking shit. Making business deals. Acquiring new firms and partnerships.
Favorite things: Spending time by the pool, having the butler bring drinks for him and his friends, enjoying the company of a beautiful woman or twelveKate no, seriously, a woman or twelve, politics, ambition, being charming.
Mental Information
Personality: Adrian is, for lack of a better term, arrogant as hell. He was born into a higher-class family and he knows it full well. While he can be incredibly fun to be around and a sparkling personality when he wants to be, when he doesn't want or need to be, he's generally looking down his nose at anyone who didn't have the brains to have been born into a higher station in life. Basically, even though he can be an arrogant ass, it is still strangely hard to not like him, especially when he turns on the charm.
UPDATE: Losing his wealth also caused the young man to lose a good deal of his arrogance. After all, much of his condescension came from the feeling that he had more money than everyone else, and now that he doesn't...
Despite that, his usual charm shines through even more now, though, for the most part, his arrogant put-down and condescending tones have been replaced by smart-ass comebacks and a sarcastic tone, respectively. Even so, he is generally much easier to approach as of late because of this.
Update the Second: Adrian, upon retaking his name, has matured into an almost sensible young man. If the prior two prevailing attitudes of the youngest Hanlon were "arrogant" and "unpredictable", respectively, the newest would have to be "overwhelmingly confident." Adrian carries himself with a sense of self-assurance that borders on smugness. When one loses everything, and then pulls himself up from the gutter and regains it all, Adrian believes one has squarely earned the right to confidence, perhaps even over-confidence.
The old arrogance has, indeed, come back, but, after seeing the side of life that the people he used to only insult and look down upon live, Adrian doesn't find it appropriate or even forthcoming to continue to be over-the-top condescending. However, because he made something of himself where other people simply choose to accept their lot in life and continue a meager existence, he has come to believe that it wasn't his money that made him better than everyone else, but that he genuinely was inherently better, and that it shows in his actions. What has resulted, personality-wise, out of this revelation is a sort of 'quiet' arrogance. Even if Adrian is looking down his nose at someone, he's a lot less likely to make it fully apparent.
The biggest change to the young man's personality is that his intelligence shines forth a lot more now. Growing older and coming into control of his own business has tempered his fiery spontaneity and bluntness and honed it into a business-savvy temperament. No longer is he prone to lashing out verbally and physically if provoked. Rather, he's taken many a cue from his former mentor, Mathew Amtrum, and proven to be a rather manipulative figure when he has to be.
Mentality: Adrian is quite sane, as any of the Hanlon family's personal doctors and psychologists would tell you. In truth, the young man is as sane as any other normal person.
Update: Without the passion of money backing him, Adrian has taken up his more underlying passions, which causes him to occasionally reach an intensity bordering on mental instability. However, whether it does or not depends on one's perspective, and Adrian is still a mentally sound young man.
Update Part Deaux: Any prior worries or introspection into the young man's mental health would, by now, be a non-issue. Adrian's former easy lapses into intensity now (usually) take form in a much more restrained manner. However, in a fight, that old fury can easily be released.
Ideal: "God gives you what you need, and you use it to win."
Belief: Fairly devout Catholic.
Physical Information
Build: Adrian has a well-toned build, of course, with some amount of bulk on him. He is built in a sort of 'all-rounder' body type, and from a glance, he would not look to be based on either speed or strength. He shows great muscle definition without looking too cut and/or jacked, and is also a bit more beefy than the average martial-artist or what-not that roams the halls of PHS 259. Or PHS 42, for that matter.
Head: Sporting a scarless, chiseled face, Adrian is, put simply, one of the premiere definitions of classically handsome. A defined nose, bright blue eyes, and a flawless facial structure round out the young man's face, and semi-short blond hair, parted in the middle slicked backwards without product, for a messy look, and about eight inches long at longest just shy of shoulder-length, compliment his features nicely.
Torso: Adrian's midsection is, once again, well-defined, the structure of a young man who takes very good care of himself. His pectorals are well-defined, and he has a clear-cut six-pack that does not look overworked or forced. His chest is fairly broad, but still retains a lean quality to it.
Arms: Adrian's arms are a bit long for his height, but are well-cut and fairly muscular. They look like a clean punch from one could send someone reeling.
Legs: Similar to his arms, Adrian's legs are also a bit long, and similarly proportioned.
Feet: ... they're feet. Adrian's feet look like you'd expect feet to.
Apparel Information
((I've opted to simply show you a series of pictures with short descriptions.))
Adrian's style of clothing has come full-circle. While his new attire generally remains more casual than his initial choices of clothing, it retains the smart, well-dressed feel that he originally prided himself so much on. Combining both of his previous clothing choices together, Adrian is usually seen with a pressed, button-down collared shirt, and either slacks or designer jeans. For shoes, he either wears a nice pair of loafers or a pair of impeccable-looking trainers. When he wears gloves, which isn't as often as before, he has upgraded to full-fingered gloves with steel studs in the knuckles, which, in most cases, are connected to his Arms of the Earth Dragon, matching them in color and style.
For other accessories, Adrian retains the tribal-style tooth necklace and infinity-symbol belt buckle and applies them to his new wardrobe more often than not. He also wears his ring with the Reaper symbol, and also wears a small button the on the collar of his shirt with the same symbol.
Notable deviations from the picture: The colors and patterns, mostly.
Adrian still has his Athletics outfit, however, one of the few simple legacies of his past.
Fighting Information
Fighting Style: Classic boxing, very slightly modified.
Years Practiced: 13 years, since age 5.
Description of style: Adrian is a user of boxing in the classic sense, in such that focuses more on wearing an opponent down and controlling a fight, rather than simply wailing away powerhouse punches. He is almost entirely a fist fighter, rarely if ever resorting to kicks and/or elbows. He focuses on a fairly simplified fighting system of blocking, parrying, and attacking. Adrian does understand the concept of a competitive match versus a real fight, however, and though he believes the gentlemanly art of boxing is still superior to the 'more base and vulgar' forms of fighting, he will occasionally use dirty tactics to get an edge, and understands the need to defend against more than just punching when out of an official ring.
Fighting Style: Self-titled "Wild Boxing"
Years Practiced: Less than 1
Description of style: The style Adrian was working on before his abduction, but only in light of his new personality after his abduction could he have ever fully formed it. He still focuses heavily on fists; however, low kicks and grapples have entered their way into his repertoire as well. The way he punches has also changed drastically. Instead of picking apart his target piece by piece with range finders and outside blows, Adrian's new style revolves around him getting in his opponent's face, swinging as hard as he can, making sure each blow is either a knockout blow, or a total bitch to block. Mix that in with elbows and the aforementioned kicks and grapples, and any other dirty tactics he may require, and it makes for a distinctive, if not effective, fighting style.
259 Return Update: Far from forgetting his physical honing in pursuit of his more mental advances, Adrian has learned to blend his more wild-natured style of battle into the classical style he practiced before. What has resulted is a style that focuses highly upon using counter-attacks to open an opponent up, and then, once the opening is spotted, an unrelenting offense is pressed until the opponent falls or gives up.
Strengths: Adrian is a particularly well-built guy. His style of fighting lends itself towards being more stationary than your usual kung-fu master, and as such, he can take a punch or kick better than most people. His stamina is also fairly high, as his style of fighting is used to prolong the fight and wear down an opponent. Finally, when he does go for the big punch, it is a big punch. Despite his only somewhat-bulky appearance, Adrian is, pound-for-pound, quite strong, and getting punched by him is likely going to hurt.
Weaknesses: Physically, while Adrian is moderately fast on his feet, he didn't train himself to dodge. Thus, aside from basic slipping, bobbing and weaving that most boxers know, Adrian is not adept with, nor like to use even if he was, most advanced and/or intricate methods of evading enemy attacks. Another weakness Adrian possesses, however, is his stubbornness.Adrian will almost flat-out refuse to learn or adapt to any situation that doesn't have him boxing his opponent. If someone, therefore, has a sure-fire advantage against any boxer, it is highly unlikely Adrian will be able to win the bout, as he will stubbornly keep trying to punch until he loses. Adrian has realized the error of his ways and has taken steps to fix this, though he still relies heavily upon his fists and upper body attacks. A kick attack is very rare, but will be used, even if only to surprise the foe, who would have by now expected him to use another punch. In short, Adrian has taken steps towards spontaneity, but the very nature of his style insures that one of his main weaknesses will always be predictability.

History Information
History: If one had to put down a few things the state of California is likely best known for, it would most likely be Hollywood, the beaches, and the astounding amount of affluence that pervades the state. Adrian Hanlon, son of Bill Hanlon, Jr. of Hanlon Networking and his wife Caitlyn, was born with the silver spoon lodged firmly in his mouth. William Hanlon, Sr. had left his son a large company, dealing in internet marketing and personal and business networking, which had come a long way from the family business, which began back in Ireland as an almost nationwide mail route. Now, the family's blood runs almost entirely blue, and what used to be a self-made family has become the priviledged upper class.
And as such, Bill's only son, Adrian, knew little else. He was tended to and waited on hand and foot, and never had to ask twice for anything in his life, ever. He was given everything he wanted, and all Bill ever asked in return was that Adrian live up to what he still considered to be the 'honor of the family name'. Unfortunately for Bill, his thoughts were a little skewed, as most anyone who knew of Hanlon Networking, Inc. knew that the Hanlons, by this point, had little to nothing to do with the day-to-day workings. They had become figureheads, getting fat off their company's business deals and doing nothing to account for it. Even so, Adrian, still a young boy, wished to make his father proud. So, when his father wanted him to take up the gentlemanly art of boxing, he did.
Adrian trained hard daily, and grew to be a pretty proficient boxer. Unfortunately, with the ability to fight came the desire to, and since the rich are almost always with their fair share of enemies, with the desire came the means. At the private school where he was enrolled, Adrian would constantly come under fire. The outrageous arrogance that roiled through the halls caused almost every student there, for some reason or another, to think that their family's wealth somehow superceded every other family's wealth, and names, taunts and jeers were all too common amongst the hateful youngsters. Adrian, however, had fists to back up his words, and fights were common. As if the Hanlon name hadn't been smeared enough by the family's general lack of involvment in their own industry, now their only son was becoming a bully and a troublemaker. After multiple documented cases of bullying against students, and a few against faculty, Adrian was expelled from his school. All the other private schools in the region got wind of the youngster, and blacklisted him from their schools as well.
Bill and Caitlyn were forced to make a decision: Either enroll Adrian amongst the lesser, lower-class trash in, God forbid, a public school, or homeschool him themselves. It seemed to be such an easy decision for their poor child, but they were both always so busy, with their 'business trips', and their boating, and their golf games...
Upon his arrival at 259, Adrian quickly fell into servitude of one Mathew Amtrum, after foolishly making a bet before he knew what he was getting himself into. Not too terribly long after that, a series of earthquakes suddenly make 259 unsafe. Adrian's folks had recently gotten a letter from PHS 42, informing them that the estate wished to have the son of the esteemed Hanlon family attend their school. Thus, the Hanlons were so swelled with self-pride that, even if nothing had happened at 259, Adrian would have still been shipped out to #42 within the week.
PHS 42 held a number of ups and down for the young Hanlon. His reign of terror alongside Mathew Amtrum was nearly solidified, he had met a girl who he would become very closely involved with, and at first, the new school was quickly looking to be a good place for Adrian. Suddenly, during a training session with his old boxing coach, however, Adrian found himself being kidnapped and held against his will by his own father. Bill Hanlon told the boy to either return to Long Beach and stay away from the bad influences of San Francisco, or remain and lose every last dollar of the Hanlon family estate.
Adrian chose the latter, and suffered innumerably.
Money had been the boy's life, and without it, he spiraled into a deep depression. His mentor, Mathew Amtrum, disappeared suddenly, but not before handing Adrian his prize coat and affording upon him the title of "Earth Dragon." His girlfriend, instead of being understanding and helping him through his ordeal, told him he was being 'needy' and 'useless' and that he 'wasn't the man she fell for' and proceeded to sleep with another man. Adrian, who had been living with her at the time out of necessity, left and struck out on his own, but not before a choice encounter with his father. The outburst Adrian gave to the former entire object of his respect, followed by the indiscretion of Kate McHallin, led Adrian to feel a new lease on life. Instead of wallowing in his self-pity, Adrian vowed to not only rise up from his depression, but to become better. He would be wealthy again, and this time he would have earned it all himself, rather than sitting upon a fat inheritance from a great-grandfather who had done all the work.
Adrian dropped out of school and sold his million-dollar watch for a quarter of its worth, and used the money to find himself a place to stay, and a small office building that had seen better days. After cutting some deals, taking a few loans (ultimately, Adrian decided that, instead of completely spurning his name and family, he would honor those of his forefathers who earned their keep by doing the same. Plus, by signing his last name and having run a credit check, Adrian looked to be fabulously wealthy when he no longer truly was), Adrian had started his own business. He dealt mainly in the trade of information: Business counseling, stock trading, that sort of thing. Truth be told, Adrian had inherited the knack for business from his grandfather, William Hanlon, and showed to be particularly uncanny when it came to understanding the nature of business. Within months, Adrian had paid off the building and the loans, and cut a profit on top of it. He expanded his business, picked up a few more office buildings, and hired some of the best business analysts and stock traders in the city. Many were, at first, put off by working for someone so young, but in the end, they were wowed by his ambition and his gung-ho attitude. They agreed to work for him, and he, in turn, learned from them, becoming better at his trade.
Never once, however, did he forget about Mathew Amtrum and the Reapers.
In between legitimate business meetings, Adrian was quietly financing various illegal activities, including drug rackets, illegal gambling, and fighting. Of course, these all proved to be fairly lucrative endeavors, and Adrian quickly grew a series of shady contacts in the California criminal underworld. Many of them, however, never saw his face, as he constantly operated through agents and drop points. To many drug lords and gambling rings, Adrian's face may as well have been Ben Franklin's on the one-hundred dollars bills he gave them. His financing was always done from his own personal bank accounts, and never in large enough amounts that it would arouse suspicion.
Within the short span of a year, Adrian had amassed an amazing personal fortune as the entrepreneur fully responsible for the Reap the Future business analyst firm. He had written a few articles for Money Magazine, and would have been featured on the cover of Time for being one of the few people to actually turn a profit in the trying economic times, but had declined. He knew too well if any major magazine looked too deeply into his life, his criminal connections had a chance of becoming outed.
Despite not being involved in its affairs, Adrian kept an ear to the ground and listened to the rumblings about his old school, PHS 259. Loose talk about 'Dragons' caught his ear, and digging deeper, he confirmed the rumor: a new set of 'Dragons' had been named, and, supposedly, the Earth Dragon coat, one of the rarest relics of eras gone by, had resurfaced again. Adrian draped his own jacket, the True Earth Dragon Coat, over his shoulders, and purchased one his father's personal getaway homes in the area right out from under his nose via proxy. It was time, Adrian figured, to return to Long Beach, finish up his schooling, show his father what he had become, and, most importantly, do something about these false Dragons running around.
