Die!

[jacob]

A sudden spark of tension was shot out into one of the hallways of Public High School #259, and a hand shot out to instantly match the tension. A grip around what seemed to be the every day student attending the school, and a thud being heard as a body slammed up against the locker. The student dangled there helplessly above while other attentions turned their gaze over to what was happening. It seemed that it was none other than Jacob who was holding him up in a threatening position, the boy struggling to grasp for air, but unable to get any due to the massive strength being applied to his throat.

Dull nails began to dig into Jacob's wrist, small cuts that weren't even deep enough to get some drops of blood were piercing into Jacob's skin. Not for very long, the boy was beginning to lose energy quickly, and it seemed that the one who was the attacker could only smirk in ammusement by it.

"Just stay still like a good boy, you'll die soon enough."

The insane thoughts being rushed into the man's head only made the smirk widen on his face, the fear pounding in his head only exciting Jacob more and more. Students around him began to get into the moment of anticipation, was Jacob really going to kill him? By the look seen in Jacob's eyes, he might just do it, and the students didn't know what to believe. Nobody in the hallway had the guts to actually stop the man, they all just stared, and it seemed that a brave soul would need to step up before the man fell to the floor dead.

The muscles in Jacob's right arm were flexed, showing his full strength, and the tightened grip only grew more and more causing more and more pain and suffering. The man's eyes soon began to shut reluctantly, and Jacob's grinning face being the only thing that could be seen, not much longer, soon he would be on the ground dead unless something happened.

[Jyo]

"Drop him. No matter what he did you are taking this too far." Said a calm voice. Every students besides Jacob and the kid he was holding backed up pressing themselves against the walls as Jyo walked to the sceane. He made absolutly no noise as he walked except for when he had spoken.

He stopped a few feet away. If Jacob didn't let go Jyo would launch at him. He would not allow someone to kill another in this situation. Jacob obviously had no real threat against him from this kid. meaning it was pointless to kill him. Jyo simply stood there and would only allow a few seconds for jacob to drop the kid before attacking.

Whispers went along the crowd of watching students. They were hoping for a fight. Jyo himself wasn't after one. Even if he could take this guy down without a problem he wasn't interested right now.

"Too far?"

Jacob asked, cutting the man who just stepped up to him off before he could even finish his sentence. It was soon after that he swung his arm around, the student being catapulted right over toward this man who was trying to play the hero at a tremendous speed. While he soared, Jacob used the time to shake out his arm to stretch out the muscles that were being used for awhile. He would let the guy do what he wanted, Jacob wouldn't need to look at him to know rather he dodged or not, he had a trump card over all other people after all.

A chuckle escaped Jacob's lips, his eyes glaring threatening at the other students, and causing some of them to back away easily. A certain unseen aura of intimidation was shooting out from Jacob, effecting every normal student around him, having fear strike through them like a dagger cutting through flesh.

He would keep his back away from the wannabe hero guy, waiting intently for the outcome on if he could move around the flying student or not. Either way would of been fine, and it would definitely not take Jacob by surprise, he was just toying around right now anyways.

[Jyo]

Jyo caught the kid easily and shook his head. he could sense something coming from the guy but after what he had gone through he wasn't phased in the least. Jyo had run into others like him. Abosultly convinced anyone who didn't let them have a free run was some idot of some form simply because they didn't like the idea of someone not being afraid of them.
"Good at least you aren't as stupid as some. I
m done here." Jyo said turning on his heel and walking off taking the kid along. He would at least set him somewhere away from this guy. Jyo still kept wary attention on Jacob. he didn't trudst the guy to have the right sense of honor to not attack when his back was turned. But Jyo would show him he was little more than a trifle.

"Good, at least you aren't as stupid as some. Unfortunately, I'm afraid I'm not done."

Jacob simply repeated but added his own little flavor in the end, a smirk appearing on his lips. With that, Jacob's leg quickly raised nailing a girl right in the face, forcing her to go unconcious really quickly, and a small chuckle going onto his lips. He was expecting for the other guy to go away, and hey, that was cool, Jacob was only doing the school a favor was all. It wasn't like Jacob was purposely taunting him though because honestly he just found the guy to be a fly that he had just easily swatted away. Not that he didn't forget he was there, he would just let him go along on his day.

"Seriously... how many of you'll will I have to take down before I can just go to class? Not that I don't mind being late, I just want to organize my time better."

A wide smile would go onto Jacob's face, and he was scanning out the area of other people, that small little last sense remaining on the previous student due to a feel of unease coming from him. Seriously, you never know what people do, and since he dared try to challenge Jacob, never know if he will do it again for whatever reason. Unfortunately, Jacob couldn't just stop, that would completely ruin his purpose on being there.

[Jyo]

Jyo stopped and looked around. His judgment of this person was becoming even more confirmed.
"So I guess you can only pick on the weak. We have a word for you. It's coward." He said letting the kid down and walking towards Jacob stopping roghly ten feet away but made no move to attack.
"But if you want to prove that comment to be wrong. Meet me at the front of the school. I can provide a challenge at least. Leave these kids alone. Attacking those who can't defend themselves against you is the greates sign of weakness." He said. Jyo wasn't even tying to verbally attacking Jacob though that was the inadvertant effect. It was simply a truth he had grown up with that he was expressing.

Jyo really did hope Jacob was smart enough to reason with. If not things could get ugly. And unless Jacob was a person who completely surpassed jyo it would be a battle that would draw out if it got serious. Something Jyo would like to avoid in the halls considering what happened between him and Asiv.

"Sorry Jyo, but I think I'll have to pass on your offer, I don't bother with the small fries."

Yes, Jacob had figured out his name, a mind reader could do things like that, but how would anyone know he could read minds? He could of possibly just heard of his reputation, and put a face to the name or something, there was a lot of factors put into place for this. That's what was so fun about reading minds, you were never really surprised, and to an extent, you could see the future and change it. The ability was great, Jacob loved it, and there was absolutely no reason as to why not he wouldn't abuse it when the chance comes.

Now did Jacob think Jyo was weak? No, he wasn't even referring to fighting ability, though that might be something inturpreted under these circumstances. what was Jacob thinking? Well, you would truly have to be a mind reader to figure something like that out. He once again began to turn away from Jyo, his sixth sense still in play just in case the guy tried to charge him, and then his hand quickly shot out smashing into the side of a guy's head, a yawn escaping Jacob's lips while he did so, and the people around him backing up nervously.

"Wow, that was the easiest one yet..."

Jyo almost darted at Jacob when he attacked another student but he stopped himself. Jyo had no aouthority here in any way. he wasn't captain or even a pillar. He had stuck up for himself and helped kids to the infirmary but he hadn't yet taken any action that was out of his aouthority.
"Fine I guess I was right about you being a coward. I'll leave you to the pillars or mabey Asiv. Particularly Asiv. he doesn't much like anyone but he and his staff beating on the students. I just hope I'm around when he finds you. it would be a treat to watch." he said and then leaned against the hallways. Each person jacob attacked he would help out when the guy was gone. But he wouldn't make any action beyind that.
And here I let the guy have a chance to prove he wasn't a coward and he just throws it in my face. I wouldn't fight him even for the challenge considering how he's acting. Thought Jyo as he stayed leaning against the wall.

A sudden smirk appeared on Jacob's lips, and then he turned around looking at Jyo with confidence gleaming inside of them.

"You mean you have to watch instead of do yourself, Jyo? Just think of all the lives you could save if you put a stop to me now instead of later. You don't need a fancy title to have the ability to do things, you're just scared of me, plain and simple. The real coward here is you, and this is a pathetic attempt to make yourself look better to the public than you are. If you want to settle things, do it here like a man."

Jacob put his hands into his black leather jacket, staring him right in the eyes with a serious and taunting look lying deep down inside of them. The confidence boosting into his body was like a hot air balloon constantly being reloaded on more and more air, yet this one could somehow never burst. He kept the smirk lying on his face, waiting to see if he had what it took to actually do something himself or not. Was this Jacob making an attempt for Jyo to attack him, no. This was an attempt at him getting a definite answer on rather Jyo would be a threat, or just another random student in the school who wouldn't even be worth even giving a glance at. He didn't know how the guy fought, but the whole 'threat' thing went along with the fight.

And so Jacob waited, this guy would have an even larger ball if he knew that Jacob's plans were already well on their way to succeeding. Being a school captain at any school gives you a sudden flare that you used to not have, and it was obvious Jacob had that flare somewhere within him.

"So... care to show me who the real coward is?"

[Jyo]

Jyo gave a slight chuckle. He had apparently overestimated this guy.
"Give me a single reason to stop you. I don't have the resposibility on my shoulders anymore. The burden of being captain is gone, has been for a while. I spent my first few weeks here defending these punks who would do the same thing you are doing if they could. It just took a while to realize it. I simply gave you the chance to prove you were mabey interested in something like a real challenge. And you threw it back in my face." He said and a wry grin appeared on his face.
"So you can call me what you like. I don't really care. These kids. Are not like those at my last school. They respected me as someone who stood up for them. These kids... They just want to see a fight. I'll go ahead and step in like with the kid you were choking. but the rest of them. I'm just waiting for you to be done so I can drag them to the infirmary. Let the captain and pillars deal with you. Thats their job not mine. I just don't really care anymore. I'll take a good fight here and there if I can. beyond that. I want to get through highschool in relative peace. Now tell me. Whats cowardly about that in compairson to you beating on those who can't fight back?" he said. mere words wouldn't effect Jyo. Jacob was going the wrong way about pressing buttons that weren't there. Jyo had been through way too much to be phased by yet another punk. His eyes locked on Jacob's as he smiled. He rarely gave long winded speeches anymore. He forgot he kind of liked them.

"What is with you contradicting yourself in your mind? You're a walking oxymoron. At one point you're fighting yourself to rush over to me and save a kid, at another moment you're stating you don't care. That's unhealthy, are you pregnant or something? No, no, you can't be... I'd of picked it up by now... You're one odd fellow though, did you know that?"

Jacob asked, a hint of concern being in his mocking voice, and the smirk remaining on his lips. He took a small pause, just relaxing not liking to go on too long with these speeches that he has been making for awhile. It sort of pained him, but times came when he just had to outsmart other people. With the ability to read minds, that ability grew to a level beyond that of normal people, and he used it to his full advantage in these little conversations of his.

Quick rush, Jacob shot his elbow back smashing it into a person who was charging at his nose, the guy fell back onto the ground, and Jacob rolled his shoulder popping it. He didn't even keep his eyes off of the other guy, one could find that to be odd, not many people's attention can remain on one person.

Soon though, Jacob's conversation changed from one of a mocking way to one of an informative. He was no longer in the mood of provoking the guy, after all, it seemed he somehow could withstand Jacob's massive charm, rather he used it negatively or positively. It didn't matter though, Jacob could still figure out a few things in a stealthy like way, it was always fun.

"Hey, mind if I ask a friendly little question though, Jyo? I was thinking that maybe you could tell me exactly what school you were the school captain for. If you don't want to though, that's fine, I'll figure it out in a few seconds anyways."

[Jyo]

Jyo chuckled.
"So you can't find an answer to my question therefore you ask another. Typical. I only stopped you because I didn't want to see the kid get killed. you going around beating them up. Not my problem." he said with a smile. jacob apparently didn't get it. He never would at this rate.

"And I was glad for being captain at my old school. If you has LISTENED. I stated they respected me because I stood up for them. Not these kids. They don't have such respect and don't deseve the attention." he said and then busied himself by pulling out a novel from his jacket pocket.
"Now unless you have something worth saying to me just get done wit what you doing so I can drag these morons who aren't running to the infirmary." He said and started reading.

"Wow..."

Jacob said before turning around, and looking over at everyone else. It seemed that the crowd was breaking up, after all, it was quite boring now. Who wanted to see two guys speaking about nonsense?

"You really disappoint me you know. I thought that I had finally found someone who had the guts to do something rather than contradict your beliefs all day. Oh well, I guess protecting this school is something I'll do alone, since the pillars are unreliable. Good things I know how to prevent problems before they start, unless you really thought those students just now were 'random', then you're dumber than I originally though."

Jacob dug his hands back into his black leather jacket, looking over at the four bodies that were laying on the ground, and a sudden sigh had escaped his lips. He looked back over at the book reading Jyo, and then decided that he wasn't one to rely on even when it came to taking people to the clinic.

"Get out of here you worthless piece of average shit, I don't trust someone who can't even spare to care taking these people to the place they need."

Yes, Jacob was mad, even he got his feelings hurt when people went ranting around talking about how people weren't worth defending. Alright, so maybe Jacob was getting the wrong attention on purpose, but he did it in a more positive way to make things better in the future. Sure, his methods weren't the best, but he was a master mind strategist and honestly, he saw himself as one of the best school captains out there.

[Jyo]

Jyo chuckled.
"Well well. Going around attacking people to grab someone's attention. How very interesting. You remind me of someone I met back at my old school. And if you want me to leave..." he said smiling as he stepped away from the wall and stood in the center of the hall. He lost the smile and his face became calm and emotionless. Jyo didn't ger phased by words anymore. he hadn't for a while.
"...Come and make me. Perhaps you can relight the spark that went away. Perhapes not. Show me what someone who actually has something to fight for can do." he said.

"You're weird."

Jacob said in a dull voice, before moving over to Jyo, so he can grab the student that was near him. He could care less about fighting someone who didn't even have the guts to make a first move, and Jacob already knew what was going on. This guy was probably going to play defensive, most likely move around thinking he is high and mighty, and then never actually do crap just to fustrate Jacob. How would Jacob know this? He has fought hundreds of people in his lifetime, and some people were the ones that did that. The personalities matched, and yes, Jacob was stereotypical about fighters. He would just ignore it, after all, what's the point of wasting energy?

Moving over to where he was, Jacob grabbed the student who he was trying to intimidate earlier by saying he would kill him, and then threw him on top of his shoulder. He would of course keep his guard up, he would know when this guy would attack, he could read minds, and then he would go back to the other students to pick them up too.

"Isn't like you have the balls to do anything anyways, so what's the point of even paying attention to you? Like I said earlier, the only coward here is you. Have a good day."
