-The Hikari clan were one of three clans that fought and defeated a ferocious and fearsome entity 1800 years ago. The clan wielded pyrokinetic powers, an inherited power that few members obtained. The current head of the Hikari clan, who at the time, possessed powerful pyrokinetic powers, asked a craftsman, who was an old friend of his father's, to cut a pair of gloves from leather, embroidered with the family crest, in order to refine his control over his flames even more.

For years past, the gloves were passed down to the member of the clan that inherited control over fire, but sometime in the early 1700's, the current wielder of the Hikari flames lost control of his powers, causing his house to catch on fire, and the original gloves were lost forever. The history was long forgotten through the future generations... Until today. With the birth of the son of the current heir of the Hikari clan, Kane Hikari, Kazuya Hikari inherited the clan's pyrokinetic powers.

Stumbling upon a diary of a past member of the clan, who had wielded the gloves, in the vast and ancient library of the family, Kane read about the history of the gloves, and realizing his son was the current wielder, set about to recreate the gloves that had been lost generations ago. Using information and diagrams in the diary, Kane recreated the gloves, complete with the family crest, and presented them to Kazuya on his sixteenth birthday, who used them in the Paladin War. However, his time with the gloves would be cut short, with his untimely death. The gloves would be passed onto the replica Kazuya, who believed the gloves he received were a copy, and the real gloves had been buried with the real Kazuya.

While the original gloves were used only to give more control over the flames, the recreated gloves gave not only refined control, but allowed for better protection as well. The gloves, for years past, have always been used alongside the family treasure of the Hikari clan.

-The gloves are each made out of a half pound of leather applying them each to be not very heavy as far as gloves go. The Stitch work is very basic indeed and follows an intricite cycle.

-The recreated gloves, just like the original, were created in order to give Kazuya even more refined control over his powers. The gloves were given to the replica Kazuya so that eventually, the gloves would be less of or none at all, a hindrance to Kazuya's growth in skill, and that he would become even more stronger than the original was.

-The gloves were constructed from the finest black leather, customized to fit Kazuya's hands. Unlike the original, which covered both hands entirely, and only the hands, the recreated gloves covered not only the hands, but half of the lower arm as well, and were now fingerless, instead of covering the hand entirely. The top of the gloves, on the arm guard, were embroidered with the family crest, the sun, represented in a stylized halo of fire.

-the Gloves themselves provide some boosts to Strength and Dexterity making them a handful to deal with. While the boosts for first use of them are indeed limited after extended use they eventually become fatal and indeed dangerous.

-The timing it takes to build upon these gloves takes fairly little time at all; in fact they require a bit of extended time reinforcing ones Constitution, the gloves work better when they have ample more time to train with. It takes a bit of Intelligence to advance each level of abilities as well as Charisma, gotta look cool in em too or its no use at all.

-The Gloves themselves only weigh a pound and will hardly throw off any balance at all. The initial drawbacks are insignificant in comparison to what they could have potentially been with more effort.
