On the way down the winding stairs, Aureus would stretch out his arms and crack his neck. Pulling the key from his pocket, he would unlock the door and step through, waiting for Ichimaru before closing and locking it once again. Continuing his walk, the Pillar would stretch out his shoulders and back. Once he was in the middle of a sparsely populated section of the field, Aureus would stop and turn to his opponent to be.
His stance would be the average thing: Left shoulder facing the boy with his feet planted shoulder's length apart, left arm raised to defend his head, and right fist held next to his sternum. "I'll give you the first shot," He said, listlessly while tensing the leather gloves by balling his fists. The Junior didn't plan on igniting them, but would if it became necessary. Who knew how good a fighter this one was? There was no point in prejudging anyway, it's always best to stay objective in situations like this and despite his less then enthusiastic tone, Aureus was ready for a good fight. You could tell just by looking at his eyes.

ichimaru remembered what veyugan told him, no one dimentional attacks, dont attack too low for the opening strike, and try and continue for as long as you can. he didnt know how fast this pillar was but he hoped to be able to walk away from this just fine, if it where to stay only a spar. he ran for his opponent, but before he was within striking distance, just before, he juked right and tried to spin a bit with a kick to the back of his knees, if this connected he would continue his spin to 180 and aim a punch down at his opponents chest. if the sweep didnt work he would try and continue the spin 360 with a kick at his opponents chest.

Intensely the Pillar watched his opponent as he closed in on him at an average pace. It wasn't too hard for him to see it, the way Ichimaru planted his foot and began to turn. That being so, Aureus simply took a step back to avoid the sweep, turning about forty five degrees to his left, so he would keep in line with the boy and be able to counter attack. Though before he was able to, another, higher kick was sent towards him.
Twisting his torso to the right and raising his left arm slightly away from him before snapping it back down, Aureus trapped the leg between his arm and side. Denying Ichimaru a chance to react, the Pillar slammed his elbow down on the side of his knee. Not hard enough to do any major damage, mind you, but enough to hurt his maneuvering ability. Directly after, he would grab onto the leg with his free hand and push hard, sending the Sophomore flying back a few feet.

ichimaru stumbled a bit then fell over and then staggered to his feet, he was glad his leg wasnt broken but it'd be hard for him to do to much more than move a bit on the leg. once he was up and back in he stance, he would wait for his opponent to come for him, hoping that would be the case, his leg was bothering him, but it was only a steady throb of pain, but he knew as soon as he did much else it would hurt more the second he put weight on it. a break would have been much worse, and just by that display it proved that this opponent was much better than him, but he still wanted to give a good fight so he continued.

Once his opponent was on his feet once more, Aureus would charge towards the student close to full speed. He would draw his right fist back to throw the boy off. When in range he would stop on his right leg, throw a half hearted right hook that would stop when his forearm was in front of his face, and would bring up his left knee to slam into Ichimaru's face as his momentum carried him forward. The Pillar had only transfered the weight to his right leg so he could raise his left knee. It wasn't a plant to stop himself. This would only work if his opponent ducked though.
And why wouldn't he? Aureus was betting on the fact that this kid was a decent fighter and would know that drawing back your arm was a dead give away. Using that logic it would be best to either duck or step step. Hence the raised knee. If that was what happened, he would fly into Ichimaru's face, knee first, with the force of his body behind him. It wouldn't be pretty.
Now, if the Sophomore chose to sidestep, the most logical counter attack would be one to Aureus' midsection. In addition to that, the Pillar's superior speed and perception would allow him to see the movement to either side before he got too close and he'd be able to react. That reaction would be turning his run into a slide on whichever side Ichimaru stepped, slamming an arm and leg into the ground, and spinning 180 degrees with a kick aimed to his opponent's knee.

ichimaru's first thought was to duck and he did, but he wanted to try and get an attack in having his arm in front of him as he ducked down and try and take a shot by extending his arm into his opponents chest or ribs, but the knee surprised him and instead of his face, the knee hit his arm, knocking ichimaru off his feet from the momentum of the strike. he landed hard on his back and his arm hurt badly from the hit. 'gah, he's much better than be, but i should at least give him a good spar' he thought to himself as he got to his feet again, letting his hurt right arm rest at his side for now.

From what Aureus could tell, the boy was a decent fighter, but he just didn't have enough experience. Maybe a few months later he would pose a challenge, but right now it would be best to give him as much experience as possible. The only way to do that was to keep going.
"Come on, I know you're better than that," Aureus taunted slightly, hoping to spur Ichimaru on. His stance was the same as before, and he would wait for his opponent's next attack.

ichimaru nodded, he would try harder, even if this was basicly as hard as he could try. he lifted his hurt arm made a fist and put it at its usual place in his stance, then rushed for his opponent. once he got semi- close, he would do a flying kick, end it just short half a foot from his feet, land fairly low, shoot his good hand for his opponents gut, followed closely by his other arm, if the first one was sucsefful he would try to grab the pillars head, if it was not he would aim for the leg to grab.

Watching Ichimaru closely as he came in for his next attack, Aureus looked for any tell tale signs as to what his opponent was plotting. Closer and closer the boy came, when finally the Pillar's eyes picked up a giveaway. The Freshman's knees bent down more than was needed, which meant he was stopping or jumping. At first it was his full intention to avoid whatever it was and come back with a crushing counter, but something about the novelty of being hit appealed to him.
Seeing it was indeed a kick, Aureus would lean to one side to avoid contact. He would take a punch, not a kick. In the end it didn't even matter though, as the boy stopped his attack half way and opted to send a punch to his gut.
Tensing his abdominal muscles, the Sophomore took the blow full on. There was decent strength behind it, and it actually threw him off a little. Directly after a hand shot up to grab his brown hair. After enjoying the low key pain in his stomach for a moment, the Pillar's left hand snatched the offending arm and slammed his head into Ichimaru's. If that was enough to stun his opponent, Aureus would drop down and send his elbow into the boy's vulnerable stomach.

ichimaru's head made contact with his opponents, he used his free hand to hold the area then the pillars elbow came down on his gut, and it hurt, but he tried to connect a punch on his opponent anywhere, just a hit of any kind. he didnt think that his punch would have hit just like it had unless the pillar intended it to hit, but he couldnt be sure, he had no hard evidence.

After Aureus' assault, the boy had managed to throw out a weird flailing punch that only struck him on the head. Wanting to end things, The Pillar snatched that arm by the wrist, rose out of his crouch and threw an uppercut to Ichimaru's chin. If it connected, it would probably end the fight.

the attack connected on his chin and everything faded in his view, he didnt want the fight to end just yet but he couldn't fight it, this pillar seemed to be casualy fighting instead of his hardest, and this final strike was his proof, he probrably grew tired of the fight so he sent a strong enough punch to knock his lights out to end it quickly. he wanted to say 'good fight' but he was too far gone.

It was over, just as much as the Pillar expected. Ichimaru had put up a decent fight, and for that Aureus gave him credit. "Just a little more experience, kid," he said walking over to the downed student and slinging him over his shoulder. He would then take him to the nurse to make sure he got proper treatment. After all, what kind of person would he be if he just left the boy there?
