A circle of students were in the courtyard of #259. Loud shouts and cheers were coming from them as two boys were ganged up on one other boy. The boy in the middle was holding his own for the most part. At least in terms of defending himself. But he was wearing down. the two guys were both stronger than he was and anytime a blow hit he was open and took a few more. He was going down pretty quickly.
It was the shouting that caught his attention. Jyo had been in an empty classroom reading during lunch. he had just gotten out of the unpleasent meeting with jacob. The guy annoyed him but hadn't gotten him riled. Jyo hated p[eople like him. Mostly due to the fact he had been like that at one time. he saw himself in the other student in some ways. but he handled himself differently. his main screwup had been the way he jerkeed around the things he said. He didn't often underestimate someone but he had that time. Not many kept up with the odd way he spoke at times to confuse them.
He looked up seeing the crowed and sighed. he got up and headed out. Walking up to the crowed he removed his suit jacket and tossed it to the side along with his shades. If he was going to be convincing about what he had told Jacob about being one who would stand up for others he'd best make good on it.
"Break it up now." He said. he didn't raise his voice but the person in front of him turned around and they moved instantly. Jyo walked by and the crowd hushed. Many fo them left looking slightly ashamed. Jyo had the eputation for not being tolorant with those cheering this sort of brutality on. The two guys stopped attacking their target and the guy fell to the ground. By the time jyo arrived an arm had been broken and the jaw was slack as well as one eye so swollen he couldn't open it. Jyo raised a hand and pointed to the collapsed student. Two students came from the crowd after a second and got the kid out. the two that ad ganged up on the guy didn;t even move. They stared at Jyo with something close to hatred.
"So what was behind this attack?' Jyo said coldly. The two smirked.
"Boredom." One said with a laugh. it was cut short as Jyo was on him his right fist sinking into his gut sending him back. The other guy attacked with a side kick. Jyo caught it and threw the guy to the side. Both were soon coming at him again. Jyo realized these guys wre not run of the mill students. They actually knew what they were doing.
Jyo dashed in again a well aimed cresent kick to the guy on the right and the guy's head was forced to turn and he stumbled to the side. The other guy attempted to tackle Jyo and his eyes opened a bit wider as Jyo let himself fal back grabbing the guys shirt and putting his foot onto his gut and pushing out sending him flying over Jyo The guy hit the ground and rolled. Jyo was soon on his feet and saw both students slowly circleing him.
"I don't care who you are. I won't let you just attack a student like that. I let it slide once today. But the guy had a reason. After what I told him I'm not about to go back on it." He said dashing at one and a flurry of blows came from him faster then most of the students could see. Jyo was surprised to notice a decent amount of his attacks were countered. But ater the exchange the student dropped to the ground. Jyo whirled around as the other guy came in and blocked the powerful punch sent to his chest but he was still lifted off his feet and flung back. He landed lightly and his right foot shot out at the guy's ribs as he came in again. The resounding crack could be heard by all that were there. The guy dropped holding his side.
Jyo looked around.
"Allright I've sat by long enough. Anyone else here have the urge to make the mistake of attacking students for no reason while I'm here. Keep in mind I'm not going to tolorate it anymore. your pillars don't seem to be active enough. the captain still at least makes an effort. But from now on keep in mind I'm going to put a stop to this." he said looking around. A small smile formed on his face.
I should actually find Jacob and thank him. Even without a battle he sparked me into action. I WAS slacking off a bit. Not now though. And never again. He thought as he saw the crowd backing away. he might not be captain or pillar and probably never would be again. But he recently rememberd something he forgot. Once a captain always a captain. It wasn't the title it was the actions and choices one made.
