Kevala could not believe she was actually nervous. Well okay she could. This was her first official date with a guy. She had been on only one other date and that had been with Mischa.....But yeah.....With a guy, they had never bothered to spend that much time and effort on her. So naturally she was nervous. Moving over to her vanity in just her undergarments she hurried to put on her makeup and brush out her long straight locks of black hair. A final glance over herself and then she moved to the closet to try and find something decent to wear. She still did not know what they were doing, but honestly she figured a simple dress would do the trick....It took several tries to actually find one that she found appropriate and that she thought at least made her look pretty. Yes, she had serious self esteem issues. But it was nothing she could not hide, just like everything else. Okay so granted that night she had spent the night curled up next to him in his bed, her head resting upon his chest, it had taken everything she had not to speak of the doubts she had in her mind and in her heart...Soon as she had returned home she had gone to the twins rooms and studied the, both....it was so hard to tell. Part of her wished to tell him, another worried it would be for nothing. She was so conflicted and it was eating her away inside...The truth becoming harder to conceal behind guilty eyes. Shaking her head to clear her thoughts she hurried to slip into the dress she had decided to wear. A light sigh passing her lips as she fixed her hair once more and looked herself over in the mirror. Just about that time, the doorbell rang, and she hurried to slip on her shoes. Saying goodnight to the Nanny and then heading down to grab her coat and open up the door. Stopping there in the doorway as she pulled it free to allow the person on the other side full view of her slender frame.

Victor was actually pretty excited, he always did enjoy trying new things, and this was certainly new, Victor had gone to some lengths to prepare something pretty special for their Friday night meeting, a sparkle in Victor's eyes as he checked himself one more time in the mirror before he left. a simple outfit, a white button down shirt that fit his body's curve from express over some nice deep blue bootcut jeans, and his doc martens, his cologne a fragrant but musky smell, he was quite pleased with it all, leaving from his house he walked to his blue mustang opening the door and flicking the switch, he plugged his Ipod in, aerosmith came on a short drive later and Victor was outside of her door, smiling his usual smile, he reached forward and rang the doorbell. he waited only for a moment before the door was opened, Victor beamed as kevala's figure was revealed to him, and though her dress made her look quite sensual Victor was simply captured by her eyes, his blue gaze into hers for a few moments... he found it difficult to look away, so he didn't. "You look beautiful" Victor said, reaching forward he would take her hand, lifting it to his lips to kiss it gently. "Shall we go then?" Victor asked, a little tug as he'd bring her to his car. every now and then... on rare occasions, you could tell Victor was still 17, and that he really showed it. the smile of joy on his face now was one of those times as he would walk forward and open her door for her, on the passenger seat was a huge bouquet of red roses. "I hope you like them, I picked them this morning... my mom and I grow roses in my backyard" Victor said with a little laugh, his hand coming up to scratch the back of his head beginning to blush, what a stupid thing to have said, but it was too late now.

Kevala lit up as she heard his comment. It did make her feel especially good to have him comment on her appearance, even though his eyes stayed locked upon her own.
Slowly her small hand would reach out to take his, being led to the car as the passenger door was opened. The first honest, sincere smile she had held in months filled her face as she spun around and wrapped her tiny arms about him, raising up on her tip toes to place a soft kiss to his cheek. Again the scent of lilacs surrounding them as her hair got caught up in the gentle breeze of the evening.
"They are beautiful. Thank you."
A soft tone spoke as she pulled back, not really thinking that anything he had said was lame or corny or anything like that. She envied the fact that he had a family....Considering she herself did not.
Moving to take the flowers she would settle herself into the seat, placing the bouquet in her lap and casting one more look up to him before he would undoubtedly shut the door and then would soon be off.

Victor enjoyed their embrace, taking a deep breath, the powerful aroma was a blessing to him, he had always loved the smell of flowers, especially lilacs and lavender. "I'm glad you like them" he said and he smiled for a moment before, as she predicted, he closed her door and walked around and got in. Victor turned the car on, and softly the ever familiar song 'sweet child o' mine' came on. "If you don't like the music you can change it, you'll find just about anything on this" Victor said with a little laugh and handed her his ipod which was connected into the car, the source of all the musical joy that Victor had. he smiled at her, she didn't know it but that was huge for him.
still, Victor didn't feel like pointing that out either, he'd let it be his own little secret.
"So I've got a few choices for you, but they depend on how you answer the next two questions: one, what is your favorite kind of food? and two, what is your favorite setting?" Victor asked this quite casually, he was curious to see if he knew her as well as he thought he did. several tricks up his sleeves where still left, but first he needed those answers.

She took the ipod as he offered it to her but instead she would shake her head and set it down.
"No thank you. I actually love this song."
She smiled honestly as she listened to his two questions. She had to think long and hard on this one but finally came up with a good enough reply.
"I love Italian food and honestly I love places that are out of the way, a bit secluded and that dont have a whole lot of people there."
She looked away, just a bit ashamed at the reasoning behind all this.
"I tend to attract too much trouble in crowded places."
She bit her lip, her tone very soft and almost a whisper, though loud enough to be heard if he was listening.
But it was the truth. Every time she turned around she was getting into more and more trouble and it usually happened in big places where their were lots of crowds.
Normally it was guys feeling her up and trying to bully her into stuff she did not want to do. People thought her a slut around here when she had only slept with 4 men......But that did not stop them from trying she supposed.
Finally once she had gained her composure once more she would look back at him. Still that guilt heavy on her mind as it had been the night she spent with him at his house.......She just could not shake it.

Victor smiled, he was glad she didn't change the song, he had left it on the ipod specifically for her. as she thought about the answer Victor sang along softly, an octave lower of course, his beautiful baritone filled with some hidden emotion behind it
"And she's got eyes of the bluest skies, as if they thought of rain, I'd hate to look into those eyes and see an ounce of pain"
she finally answered. two for two, Victor had hit a nail right on the head, he was glad he had gone for italian and not for sushi, which had been his second guess, but his gut feeling told him against it. "Well, that my dear is perfect, I think you'll be thrilled" Victor said as the car turned onto Pacific coast highway, yes he was taking her to the beach... of course he was. he didn't care the reason that she liked secluded places, he just needed to know she liked secluded places.
He parked, before them was a long pier, with a tiny light at the end of it, to either side a deserted beach for quite some distance. "Isolated enough for you?" Victor said with a small laugh, turning off the car and looking into her eyes for a moment before he would get out and slide over the hood of his car, action style, very quick to open her door for her. "I hope you enjoyed that... I did" Victor said with a little laugh, reaching out to take her hand.
"And one more thing, do you like Violin?" Victor asked nonchalantly, now this one was going to be interesting.

She smiled as he spoke and then continued to dive them on. Once they reached their location she could not help but smile a bit more bright.y.
This place was perfect an it shone in her eyes. Nodding sotly in agreement she would wait for him to open he door, setting her flowers down and stepping out as she straightened out her dress with both her small hands.
It was then she would look up at him and smile as brightly as she could, that lingering guilty look still held there as se spoke.
"This is perect Victor...and yes, I love the violin. Why do you ask?
A simple brush of her tongue befre she turned her eyes from his, something she could not help since she had spent the night with hin. They seemed very familiar to her and honestly she was too scared she may say something to drive him away from her.
All in good time.....Right?

Victor just smiled. "Just making sure" Victor asked, then reached in the back and grabbed a jacket, taking her hand he'd lead her down the pier, depending on if she noticed it didn't matter, but rose petals had been drapped along the pier, and the one light that had been in the distance would slowly grow to many lights as the entire end of the pier had hundreds of candles lit, placed along the floor, on the railings of the pier, on the tiny table that had been set up in the middle of the pier, a few silver bowls with covers over them, and with a single italian man behind the whole display. Victor nodded to him. Chaconne, Se voi per favore" Victor spoke in a fluid italian, the man smiled and nodded, pulling a violin from behind him, and begining to play a tune that Victor found absolutely delightful. Victor pulled out her seat, offering it to her, his bright blue gaze both amused and proud. "I have for you tonight..." Victor announced as if about to present something truly fantastic walking behind the table and grabbing the lid of the silver dishes. "Pasta, tortellini, and sauce, with meatballs if you like them" Victor said, "And depending on your taste I also had this lasagna prepared" Victor said, pulling out one more tray from below the table. Victor wondered if this was all too much and he was making a fool out of himself... he just wanted his first real date to be special, and he wanted it to be special for her too... Victor then took his seat. "please help yourself" he said with a smile before beginning to serve himself of course the second she chose something she liked Victor would serve it to her so she didn't have to lift a finger. the ocean crashing in the background, the violin playing softly, and the night had just begun, Victor was excited.

She noticed every little detail of the area..Not simply cause she was paranoid as usual, but because this was her first real date as well. As they sat and the food was presented she would motion toward the lasagna...Though both looked good, this was something she could not help but crave.
Of course surprised a blush would wash over her face as she lowered her eyes. The innocence in her so very few ever got to see.
"Thank you for all this. I mean this is my first real date....."
She trailed off as she thought that over...shaking her head and sighing softly. Ever since the twins, dating has been harder and harder for me.
She could not believe she had just brought them up but honestly they were her life, and it was only common to do so. Though a sheer look of panic filled her eyes as she noted her slip up. Only hoping that perhaps he would not have seen it.
Her tongue brushing over her lips she would sigh softly, her hands resting gracefully in her lap as her hair blew just slightly down into her face.
"It is beautiful here."
A clear divertion. One she hoped he would fall for. Gabriel would have been on her ass for the truth by now..but Victor was different.....but she knew she had been acting strange since they were first reunited...sooner or later he was bound to ask something. She just knew it.

she seemed to be enjoying herself here, Victor was glad, he wanted everything to be just right. "Think nothing of it, its my first real date too, I figured if we're gonna do something we might as well do it right" he said with a laugh
Victor blinked, she brought up the twins, and it showed in her eyes that she knew she had just brought up the wrong subject, it had been in Victor's mind but he really had no answer to it... he may be financially stable, but he really didn't want to raise someone elses kids... that was a simple fact, but for now he just wanted to enjoy the moment, he may have appeared stupid, it wasn't that he was, he just preferred to not think about it if he didn't have to. he knew that the other comment she made was simply for distraction, so he took it
"I thought so, I wouldn't have taken you here if I didn't think it was beautiful enough for you" Victor mentioned with a little smile
"So then kevala, are you a wine or a champagne person?" Victor asked, wondering if she had gotten the hint that he was a man who liked to give people choices.

"I personally prefer wine if that is alright?" She asked almost timidly as she pushed back her thoughts...her hands gripping together atop the table in a nervous fashion as she struggled to compose herself. She needed to tell him......but how. Her mind running over the events taking place and softly sighing...knowit it best to get this out of the way before things went to far....she did not want him to feel as though she were trying to trap him. ( ooc: It seems like the best thing for her to tell him now before he thinks she was letting him do all this just to sucker him into the whole thing.....She does not want that.....so it is up to you if he sees them having some of his features or not. Does not mean anything but it is just to kinda start the ball rolling ya know? PM me with any problems or suggestions ) "I need you to look at something..." She then pulled out a photo of the twins and handed it to him. She would fall silent then, seeing if perhaps he saw what she did or if it was just her imagination. But in her mind, they looked closely like somebdy OTHER than Katsu....again she could be wrong but she could not ......would not lead him on only to drop this on him later...It would not be right. "That is Aiden and Kazumi" She felt the need to say something before she fully turned her eyes away to hide a few tears filling them. One shot at being happy for one night and she was about to ruin it.....But it was the right thing to do..no matter if he saw it as such or not.

Victor smiled and from beneath his table of magic tricks he pulled up a bottle of wine, red, merlot of course, Victor had his own fine tastes, of course if she looked under the table there would be a champagne there as well, Victor covered his bases DAMN well
then she stopped him, he needed to see something, apperantly it was urgent.
Victor put the wine down on the table, watching her rummage for the picture, pulling it out and showing it to him
aiden and kazumi... curious names...
yup... those where babies.
OH!
"these are your children" Victor said, originally he was gonna make a big deal out of it and act like they where adorable so maybe she'd stop bringing them up, but then he noticed she was crying.
Victor would now take the picture from her hands. "They look perfectly fine to me, is something wrong, did something happen to them?" Victor asked, wondering if something had happened to the children
there wasn't even a question in his mind about what she was really getting at, he had no idea she thought he might actually be the dad of the children, not when she had told him with such confidence the time before last when they met that he indeed was not.

She shook her head, tears still stinging her eyes as she bit upon her lower lip, a soft sniffle given just before she would softly speak.
"No, no...They are fine...."
She placed her hands on the table before her, fingers twisting about each other as she tried to figure out how to go about saying this..How do you tell a man that he may indeed be the father of your children?
"They...."
She drew in a deep breath and felt a soft tremble start in her hands. Never had she been nervous about saying something. She was always the one with the open way of things. Just get the truth out and be done with it.
"I think......"
Another pause...the words seeming to get stuck in her throat as she tried to force them out. Why was this so hard? Though she already knew the answer. She really liked Victor...more than most men she had come in contact with, and honestly she was terrified of his reaction to this.
"I think you may be their Father."
She blurted the last statement out as fast as she could manage it. Unsure if he would even be able to understand it. But she had said it. Now she turned away from him. Fearing the angered, raged, hurt, whatever look he was possibly giving her now.
She had told him once before they were not his. Because she had been so sure at the time they belonged to Katsu. But after she had thought about it, figured up some dates, and noted some litttle differences here and there....she had figured out that either man could really be the Father....and with Katsu gone....the only one she could tell of this problem, was Victor.
She had thought when he left that she could keep the secret to herself but upon his return she knew that doing such was simply wrong.
"I felt you should know."
Her tone broken, as she struggled to not completely let her fear consume her.
