Jyo felt himself having to step back as the uppecut hit his chin and he felt his jaw go numb. e wasn't used to a direct blow at least lately. He was been more skilled in lessening impacts and completly countering or avoiding attacks for several years. A direct hit from someone who packed as much of a punch as Leon could definatly didn't do Jyo any good. But as he stepped back with his right lfoot his left shot up to slam into Leon's ribs in a snapping motion as Leon's punch hit. The snapping motion was to keep Leon from grabbing the leg.
Jyo would then leap back and chuckle. "Very good. Few people actually score a direct hit. I was right about you." he said as his arms came up and his legs bent slightly.

Leon felt the blow coming and looked quickly to find the attack on its way already. his arm tried to get in the way of the inertia. But ended up missing because of relyance on feeling instead of sight, it can happen, small mistakes and for it he was kicked once again. He slid a foot and stoped. Jyo's words brought a curve to his lips as he smiled. He was having fun in this fight. Been a while, the last person he faught that was any fun was Ark back in 552.
"Well at this rate my body will have beaten your leg all to hell by the end of this fight."
Leon went forward and jumped just barely off the ground. In a left rotation he got diagonal in the air. One spin and he came around with a diagonal kick to come down on the shoulder area. On the connecting mostly with the Trapezius muscle area with the shin.

"We shall see." Said Jyo and then dashed in as Leon came at him and Leon was soon airborne. A mistake if Jyo ever saw one. Because now Leon had no real leverage over Jyo and the tall senior took advantage of that and he grabbed the incoming leg then pulled down but his action was not to throw Leon to the ground as last time. but instead his right foot came up behind Leon once he was in position and the point of his shoe would slam into the small of his back seriously hindering his movement. Jyo had his right arm free and made sure that was ready for countering a punching attack or some such thing. "Come Leon. Show me what you really have." Jyo said as he attacked. He would let go when his kick hit and then leap away. If Leon countered in a way that stopped Jyo then Jyo would have to change. But all factors considered it was unlikely Leon could manage a counter this time around.

Leons leg had been stopped, even with his weight and momentum thrown into it, the kick failed. Rarely was that kick ever used against him because of the power used behind it and the speed of the attack. But as it was he felt a sharp pain run through his body. His back was the weakest part of his body due to having broken it over 15 times at 552. He felt himself released as he got up from the attack. A good amount of pain in his back. He felt his heart rate increasing as a single tear of blood came out his right eye. He wasn't sad, or crying from pain, it was something else.
Leon didn't see it as a good time to attack himself, so he would wait it out and see what happened. He wouldn't risk reaching up to clean his face of the blood. So he just had his arms up infront fo him in a boxers stance.

Jyo didn't give Leon much of a chance to do anything. As soon as Leon's arms were up Jyo was upon him. So far the fight had been more or less one-sided in Jyo's favor. And Jyo could tell Leon was a capable fighter. He could sense the student's aura and knew him to be capable of bringing him down. But Leon didn't seem to be showing what he could do. therefore Jyo would press the attack until Leon truly began to fight back.
When he reached Leon he made an odd attack. His right arm came inand his forearm clashed against Leon's to keep them from moving and his left knee shot up to slam into his gut. As e had scored a direct hit in his last attack leon's legs wouldn't be working to weel so a counter except moving back wouldn't work well. And if Leon moved back Jyo's raised leg would snap out in a basic front kick to hit the bottom of Leon's chest. Jyo wasn't giving the guy a chance. He wasn't taking it easy on him. Leon had potential and Jyo was beyond the point of no return. he wanted someone to take him down. Give him somthing to work for. Too long had he been at the top of his game. And he could tell Leon was one of the people here that could change it.

Leon's eyes where wide and focused as he saw the oncoming manuever, a basic block that would stop Leon's arms from moving forward, giving him less time to react to an attack, he couldn't go up, flying was too dangerouse against this one, he could try down. Moving down getting his left arm under the clashing arm as fast as he could he would force upwards against it to push it away, while his eyes caught the knee flying in at him, his legs did feel weak so using them to emply too much force was out of the question. He moved his left arm to hit the knee on the side, to force it outward, he still had another arm to worry about. Jyo hadn't used it yet, hopefully Leon could move fast enough to knock him off balance, by moving into Jyo and throwing both arms into hsi chest as fists.
He would send electric jolts through his fists using Jyo's very own static field to cause a slight shock if anything, because it wasn't much to work off of, it would still be noticable, he was running out of places to gain his electricity from, and relying on what his body generated wasn't always relyable, it took too much concentration.

Jyo gave a slight smile at Leon's counter. At last his opponet seemed to be showing a bit more as to what he could do. Jyo instead of resisting let himself fall back and his frre hand grabbed onto Leon's soulder in an iron-like gripp pulling him down as well. Jyo couldn't have let go as they fell if he wanted to as he felt jolts go through him. Not enough to distract him or stop him. But enough to hurt and cause a tension he couldn't help. But all the same he fell back Pulling Leon along and his free leg curled up putting his foot into Leon's gut and then he kicked out sending Leon up and over him with enough force that even with Jyo's tense hand he was out of the grip a bit of his shirt tearing.
Jyo got up facing Leon and forcibly made himself relax. This was the first time the electric current got him while he was grounded and he could feel spasms racking his body. His eyes began to glow as he focus his Qi. "Impressive Qi. I guess it's time you saw mine." Jyo said feeling the effects of the shock go away as he resumed his opening stance with one arm out to his side and hids left foot leading.

Leon hadn't expected a movement like that, it was a basic counter for an advancing apponent in Jujitsu and the first stages to Karate. But none th eless it was effective, and Leon ended up on the groudn alittle distance from Jyo. Some of his shirt was torn. He paid good money for hsi cloths damn it. He had enough trouble getting good work with his Recovery Service, buying new cloths was hard, not to mention he had to spend cash on a wedding.
Leon immedietly dropped his guard as he remembered Eury and the wedding. He was gonna settle down, stop fighting. He had to stop before it was too late. He had no reason to fight. Pride? He had all the pride he needed in family. Strength? Eury made him strong. Leon looked at Jyo, who had glowing eyes now.
"No matter how hard this school tries I'm not gonna be who I was."
He made a promise just now, this would be his last fight. The glow of his usual state went away and hsi hair was alittle less spiked than before. He didn't have a very seriouse look. He was just gonna fight. He didn't make his hands into fists he was leaving them open palmed, so as not to accidentally use the gloves or his Qi, the electric currents messed with his mind and made him forget things.

Jyo tilted his head at this. He suddenly stood strait up and lacked any form of stance. leon clearly wasn't into the fight. That was what Jyo required from an opponent. They could be stronger than him or weaker. It didn't matter. As long as they were in the fight. Leon wasn't and that was explaining his performance against Jyo. "I for one don't plan on changing you. But unless you actually put everythign you have into this battle it's already over. Even if you could beat me you wont now. Not unless you are willing to go all out." He said.

The dark blue eyes looked to Jyo for signs of misguidence, or trickery. too many fights, and way too many tricks and lies to trust this person over words. Leon stayed in his fighting stance and only spoke, no movements, not much more than a blink. Over 100 battles that have led to being in the intinsive care unit, being strapped to the bed so you wouldn't move, having your back broken so many times the doctors first assumption when he comes in for a check up is if he broke his back again or not.
"All I've known in my life is fighting. To fight and find myself in battle, to test my skill. . . I've discovered more to living then fighting for some cause that in the end, only makes things harder. . ."
Of course he was speaking of the many times he went up against 552. . . The entire school, all the students, the faculty, by himself. Then he was talked into destroying the gangs that caused violance, he did so standing up for the cause by himself. so many injuries, his little sister last he knew had been kidnapped. . . Presumed dead. His little brother, whom he adopted into his family, killed by gangs of 552. His best friend Jimothy Clavish, the person who taught Leon all the things that where right in the world and worth saving, was shot. And killed. His older brother, also adopted into his family, was killed at 552. He found a loved one who he could protect, whom he could keep safe and have a family with. He wouldnt jeperdise such a life, one he has never had before over something like this.
((OoC: Sorry abotu the ending of the fight, maybe I can make up for that with some sort of character development.))

Jyo leaned against a nearby tree and folded his arms. "I'm not going to dispute that. But I do view things differently. For my fighting is a way of life. A means to an end. I don't care who I fight. If they put everything they have into it then I am happy no matter what the outcome is. I understand your reasoning and I'm not the type to say anything against it. Though I will say that it will be sad to see such potential go to waste. But then again I feel like tha about almost anyone who stops. But in the end it's your choice. I'll give you credit though. You were definatly one of the more challenging people to work aroud with in battle." He said.

Lowering his arms from the fighting position he had been stuck in it was a slow process. Until finally he was standing like normal. His hair went back to sitting straight up on his head spiked from an electrical charge. He listened to Jyo's reasons of fighting, reminded him of how he used to be at 552 before he was corrupted by its political games and gang wars. Betrayed over and over again, unable to trust anyone unless he had met them long ago. He didn't take hsi eyes off Jyo yet, he was still pondering if it was a game or not. A person can attack from any position at any time. And as such Leon looked at that before he looked at a person.
"I fight to protect those close to me, thats all. . . . . Your ways of fighting are ideal for someone alone in life, or hasn't understood they are important to another. I would rather spend my remaining few years with my family and friends than fighting."
The words where not spoken in any disrespectful manner, they where just his views. He had realized too many times way too late that there where people who depended on him too much for him to fight the way he did. He had to look after the few he cared for with the few remaining years he has left before his heart finally gives out.
