Jyo seeing his kick pass Aureus didn't even break his motions for a second. Compared to some fights this was nothing and he had dealt with this before. As Aureus had sent the fake punch Jyo's leg had shot out as he didn't let it touch down when he missed. He felt the attack meant for his knee hit though and let his leg go slack and rolled away lessening the damage. He was on his feet very quickly and resumed his stance. "Come now. You are a Pillar of the school. Show me what you can do." Jyo said.

Finally, a hit. Aureus thought, still annoyed as ever. He had begun to notice the strange influx of transfer students, and it meant one, simple thing: he wasn't able to do his job. If a quarter of the school's population was stronger than it's Pillars, there was a problem. It'd probably be a good idea to quit soon. I'm tired of being responsible for every one of these bastards. the dark haired boy reflected, forgetting Jyo for just a moment.
The snide comment was obviously meant to tweak him, and it was slightly working. Try to keep cool. Getting worked up won't help. Hmph Not bothering to reply to his opponent, Aureus hopped forward slightly, throwing a left jumping side kick towards the boy's chest. He wasn't a big fan of kicks, but at this point a change of pace was needed.

Jyo watched as Aureus came in and he reacted to the move in a way he normally didn't react. As the foot came in he cocked his right arm back and the fist flew out meeting the bottom of Aureus' foot with all he could muster out of the hit. His arm wouldn't move at all and unless Aureus pulled his foot back it would stay that way.
He gave a slight grin and his left eyebrow rose up slightly. Aureus would have to do better than that. Jyo did feel a slight cracking when the attacks met and knew he likely had busted a finger in the process. he'd actually need it looked it to find which one. Jyo was not immune to pain but it didn't register well to him. Particularly an ingury as minor as a broken finger if that was even the case.

Fuck, he's damn strong too! Aureus thought, surprised at how easily Jyo was able to stop his attack, with just a punch none the less. Wasting no time after the two extremities made contact, the Pillar kicked off the fist with his left leg slightly, and launched a kick to the Senior's head with the opposite leg. He would twist his body along with it and continue that after he landed so that if Jyo avoided it, he wouldn't have an easy opening to target.
OOC: Really Xinish. If it's too much for you, I'll edit.

OOC: Hey the more Xin-like the better. Kinda why I made Jyo use that move.
Once more Aureus didn't seem to realize how to get past jyo's defensive abilities. Due to the fact Jyo had used his right hand against Aureus' left leg his left hand was free. And the good thing was that the kick was coming in from that direction allowing Jyo to make a simple move to defend himself as his arm swung up and outwards blocking the attack and then leapt back landing lightly. "Come now. I'm sure your skills are at least enough to present more than this. From what I would guess I would think you are holding back. I don't suggest that. let go and use all you have. It isn't like I can't handle it." he said.

As usual, Jyo was able to defend himself and leap back to add another taunt. It was true though, Aureus hadn't been fighting his hardest, but now he saw that he would have to if he wanted to stand a chance. He needed to push himself until he broke. That's the only way he could improve, and from there he'd have to do it over and over again. Could his body handle it? Now wasn't the time to dwell on such things, and so the Pillar rushed into his next attack. He had something in mind that would probably throw Jyo off, especially since most of his attacks had been plain thus far. Sure, the schizo was betting a lot on a specific reaction, but it had to be done.
Dropping low, the dark haired boy attempted a sweep. That would be enough to get Jyo to react. The catch was that he would stop about half way. This would allow him to prepare himself to implement the counter he had in mind.

Jyo watched the movments carefully. He finally seemed to have gotten a rise out of the pillar and was now content that his foe would most likely truely be fighting to the best of his abilities. He saw what looked to be a sweep heading in and his right foot reared up and shot out to meet Aureus' shin to stop the attack.
But he was wary. The attack didn't seem correct to him and Jyo knew many attacks that could spawn from such a feint. So he kept himself on guard still smiling but if Aureus noticed such smile he would see that Jyo was simply glad that Aureus was really going at it now.

Now! Aureus shouted mentally, shifting all his weight to his sweeping leg, leaning forward and deftly grabbing his opponent's leg at the ankle. He knew he didn't have much time before Jyo reacted, so bearing that in mind, the dark haired male slammed his elbow into the Senior's knee, hoping to decrease his dexterity, if only a little.

Jyo's reaction to Aureus' counter was in truth rather simple he didn't need to do much but push off with his free leg and bend his trapped on making the impact less damaging as his knee wouldn't be as open so to say. It was when the leg was strait such and attack did it's damage. While still a bit painful and would cause a bruise Jyo had spared himself most of the damage. Another thing this did was let Jyo get in close enough to use his arms. His left hand came in for a palm strike aimed for the face and his right was ready to snatch Aureus' free hand if it would move to counter.
Despite how he liked to fight keeping foes at a distance Jyo was just as dangerous up close in a fight which Aureus had brought upon himself with the move. Getting away from Jyo when he didn't want you to was no mean feat.

Aureus was doing his best to fight at least two steps ahead of time. He didn't expect any of his attacks to disable Jyo, so what was the point in not making logical guesses as to what would happen? It was admittedly hard for him to keep pace, but that wasn't something the Pillar could help at the time.
The Senior had managed to avoid the attack somewhat, which was no surprise to the schizo, who had already guessed something of the sort would happen. In addition he had put some thought into what a counter could be.
Let's look at the facts. Jyo was close, one of his legs was being held, the other kept him standing, and his punching range would be limited. What could all that possibly mean? Well, the red head would most likely throw a punch to Aureus' face.
His eyes were focused on both Jyo's arms, and when the palm strike came in, the Pillar pulled his head to the side, pulling his opponent closer towards him before slamming his head into his nose.

Well it wasn't Aureus' hand that made a motion to counter Jyo. Instead he had tilted his head to the side and attempted a headbutt. But Jyo's right hand ca,e im fro, the side to strike the left side of Aureus' face and knock his head aside and have the attack hit Jyo's cheek.
Without pause his left hand would move for an attack again to slam into the other side of his head. It might even be enough to knock him out and if not it would likely get him to let go at the veary least. Jyo had a grin on his face still. He found the fact Aureus was really putting something into it was giving him a thrill even if he was a notch above him in skills.
