"Love... love... love....
Love... love... love....
Love... love... love... love... love.. love..."
"Ugnghghgnnn....." Matrim said as he started to wake.
"There's nothing you can do that can't be doooone."
"You've gotta be kiddin m-"
"There's nothing you can sing that can't be sung...."
"GET THE HELL OUT OF MY HOUSE!" Matrim said as he got up and charged at the chorus of people who ran straight out of his room and down the stairs to the front door. Matrim opened his eyes to see his room was completely covered with the color red and the smell of flowers. He took a better look to see that everything, absolutely every inch of this room had been covered if not decorated with Valentine's day gifts. "What.... the hell...."
He walked forward, picking up a vase filled with a dozen red roses. He held one up and smelled it, "These are real... and they look expensive... everything here does...." He started reading the cards, suddenly aware that Sara wouldn't have gotten him all this. Hell, Sara might not have gotten him anything. He got her something though alright, big heart of chocolates and a big teddy bear, not to mention a bouquet of roses. All of which would have been waiting on the dining room table for her with a personalized card.
But this, this was insane! He had almost everything! He grabbed a box of chocolates in the shape of a heart, tearing open the card to see the name.
Vanessa? Who's Vanessa?
He grabbed the teddy bear that had a card attached to it's foot.
Rachel? I don't even think I've heard anyone with that name yet!
He tossed it aside and grabbed a vase with a few daisies in it. Checking who they were from, the card read.
To the man of my dreams, Love, Jennifer.
He was looking at it strangely wondering why in the world he would want flowers of all things. Honestly, who gave a guy flowers? Sure it'd be a cool thing to get once just to say you did. And if it was from someone you loved then he could understand, but this girl was some random chick who didn't even know him!
Matrim quickly gathered them, deciding he had to do something with all the gifts. He grabbed a trash can and took the bag out of it, leaving the metal trash can which he tossed flowers into. He kept teddy bears, but the flowers themselves went in.
Sorry to those who gave flowers but....
He ignited his hand in flames and stuck it into the trash, burning the flowers as he checked out what else he got. He opened up a box of chocolate covered cherries and popped one into his mouth, he looked for a card but only found a tag of sorts signed 'From Alex'. Matrim thought about it... but couldn't think of any girls he knew named Alex, or even a longer name stemming to Alex. He really hoped they weren't from Hikari... it was doubtful.....
"Hey Gale!" Matrim called downstairs, "How come you let all these strangers into my room while I was asleep!" Matrim stormed downstairs to find her and see what was up. What he found was Gale in a new pair of slippers, a new bathrobe, and surrounded by flowers and chocolates of her own.
"Because I sell to the highest bidder, and since you were sleeping you didn't have anything to offer me."
"You mean all those were meant for me?"
"Some, others I made them leave and bring me back something. After all, this bath robe isn't exactly your size."
"Good point... nobody touched me did they?"
"If they did somebody owe's me fifty bucks, I told them specifically that physical contact had to be paid with cold hard cash."
"Good to see you're looking our for my best interests..." Matrim said as he headed back upstairs. In the end after burning several bouquets he still had four teddy bears from anonymous girls (hopefully girls), three boxes of chocolates, two of which were finished by the time he left his room again, a few chocolate covered cherries, and some cards.
"Gotta love it.... where the heck is Sara?" Matrim said to himself, stashing the gifts in a corner before heading out to go see where she had gone off to. Completely oblivious to the fact that he could just call her and ask, in fact he ended up leaving his phone home when he went driving around to search her out.

Sara let out a huge huff of breath as she threw open the doors to the school and marched inside. Suffice to say she was pretty damn pissed at Matrim right now. Where the hell did he get off having so many DAMN admirers. Presents. EVERYWHERE! In their room, downstairs, on the porch. Although, she wasn't admitting that there had been a sweet little heart shaped box on the porch for her as well. It had been filled with chocolates and a sweet note about how the guy had always admired her from afar and wished her the best with Matrim. Now THAT was a damn good gift. She didn't have to turn away down, and she got candy out of it. She passed Matrim's locker and noted with disgust that it was at bursting point, ribbons and bows sticking out the sides of the doors. She sniffed, hurt by the scene as she stood for a few moments. There went THAT plan... How the hell did people even get into other peoples lockers?! She sighed out a breath looking down at the small box in her hand. She had been planning on giving it to Matrim this morning, but a bunch of giggling girls had barged into their room and Sara had fled before she could kill them all. She was pretty sure that Matrim wouldn't agree to waking up to Sara shedding the blood of 10 innocent girls in their room on Valentine's Day. It had taken her nearly a week to decide on a gift for Matrim. She didn't want to get him flowers, or chocolates, both because she knew he would get enough of them from other girls and they seemed to... girly. She had finally settled on a bracelet and had wrapped it in a sweet little red box with white ribbon. Sadly, Mr. Popular wasn't going to be getting it until she had calmed down =___= With another huff, she turned to march down the hall again only to turn right into someone. She stumbled back, her hand on her face. "Oh jeez, I'm sorry. I wasn't paying attention..." She trailed off as she looked slowly up at the guy in front of her. Taking a tentative step back, her jaw dropped in surprise. The guy had to be 7 feet tall and built like a linebacker. He stood there, a goofy smile on his face as he shuffled from foot to foot. "You don't know but uh... We have math together... Neither of us really go though, so uh..." Her chest was practically vibrating with how deep his voice was. "Really...? Is that... Is that so?" she asked. He nodded sheepishly, his arms behind his back. "What do you uh... Got there?" He giggled. Actually giggled. And then pulled out a roughly wrapped box. "I did it myself..." Sara stared at the box in shock. The heart covered wrapping paper looked like a child had been playing with it before it made it anywhere near the box. She took it tentatively. "Ummm... Thank you." She reached out to take it. As soon as she did, the guy danced off, leaving her standing alone in the hall with the box. Sara held the box out in front of her as she started again for her locker. Once there, she dropped her back to the floor, shoved Matrim's present in it, and then slowly unwrapped the gift. Inside was an assortment of candies and chocolates and a heart shaped plastic thing filled with Hershey kisses. Oh GAWD. She closed the box and dropped it to the floor next to her. Matrim could NOT know about this. She spun the dial to her locker until she heard the small click and her door popped open. And out fell a wall of presents and stuffed animals. She danced back as the things spilled out of her locker, and with a loud curse, kicked the locker next to hers, denting it before dropping to her knees to go through the things. There were stuffed bears, cats, giraffes, an owl, and a ridiculous amount of chocolate. She was going to put on a billion pounds. She glanced at some of the cards. To Sara, Be Mine! Jeff .... To Sara, the most wonderful girl on earth, Cody ... Rob, John, Peter- WHO THE HELL WERE THESE PEOPLE!? She growled low in her throat, grabbing a small box and looking at the card. Sara... I love you. I've always loved you. I love you like a bee loves flowers, or a squirrel loves nuts. I can't live without you. You're the cheese to my cake, the beans to my burrito, the pink to my eye. Love always, Butch.... Please god no... Mabye I should just go home... She tore open the box to see a little gold heart pendant. Oh crap... She hung her head sadly. She would have to go through each of these and keep what was to good to throw out. A half hour later, she had gone through everything, filling a garbage can with the stuff she couldn't keep, and her backpack with things that she wanted or were to expensive or nice to throw out. She had rings, necklaces, pendants. Was this how Matrim felt? She just wanted to give him his gift now kplzthnkz... TT.TT She slammed her locker closed and pulled her bag over her shoulder as she set off down the hall. Up ahead, there was the sounds of a scuffle and giggling. Boys giggling. A head peeked around the corner and disappeared in a single second. Sara's eyes narrowed in suspicion. What the HELL? She jogged the rest of the way and turned the corner to see that the hall was empty save for a single bouquet of roses. She glanced around nervously then stepped towards them, eying the flowers for a note. She spotted it, shoved between the flowers and quickly read it. To Sara. Happy V-Day from the wrestling team.*facepalm* She didn't even know they HAD a wresting team. She pulled out a pen and scratched out her name, writing over it to say to Julie. It was the first name that popped into her head, then shoved the card back where it was and walked away. A half hour later, she was at home, guilty and slightly annoyed. In the whole what? 40-45 minutes she had been in the school, her truck had been jam packed with more gifts. She sulked through the front door and into the house where she found Gale bundled up in what appeared to be a new robe watching her shoes. "Where's Matrim?" "He went out looking for you.. Left you something on the table in there."Knowing she wasn't going to get anything useful out of Gale while she was watching her shows, Sara moved into the dining room to find his gift to her. She stood for a moment, stunned and pleased before she began to circle it, taking it in. She plucked up the teddy bear and hugged it to her chest as she read the card, then proceeded to leave the house in search of Matrim.

So, it was that day. Yes, the day that singles always seemed to dread the most. Why? Because they were single, whilst others were doing things with their significant others. It was apparently some form of big deal to people, although Addie never really could understand why. Perhaps it was only from her lack of experience with relationships and the feelings of others.... Regardless, it was like any other day, for the most part... it just came with a lot of free stuff. Yeah, which was odd. For some reason or another she received gifts and...CHOCOLATE! from those around her.. Mostly people she had never talked to before. only a few things could run through her mind... You gotta be shit'in me... Nice joke people....Addie wasn't the type of person anyone could want. She wasn't attractive and she dressed like a freak, or so she had been told. Maybe, she just assumed she did, perhaps her clothes weren't that bad. Well, it wasn't the point of things, she just didn't really have a decent level of self esteem. Although, that was no one's business. Waking up, the brunette would pace around her apartment for a bit, making sure to leave a home made cake on the side table for torrin, before preparing to leave. Her mail box was filled to the brim with cards. Sighing a little, the young woman started her journey. Gift count one....cards from numerous strangersIT WAS TIME TO GO TO WORK! Work in a cafe, always fun, right? Oh, especially on Valentine's day. It would be full, more so, of couples and lllllooooovvee... SO MUCH LOVE! Always love. It was enough to make her want to ram her head into a wall. Sadly, head walling didn't put ramen on the table for her and Torrin. Soooo..... It was time to work... SDFL;JDSFHMDF;MSLDSKLDGSDGLMSG;!!!It wasn't more than ten minutes into her shift when it happened... Something she regretted. "Why, aren't you looking good Ms. Balfour." The young man smirked a little as he looked across at the young woman. They stood almost at the same height, although she was nearly taller than him. Credit goes to the heels. "I always wear this at work... You should know. You only come in every day." Her voice was cheerful, she was at work after all. She had no idea where he was going with things.. Of course, if she had known, she'd have been a little crueler with him. "Well, I'd like you too accept these!!!""...huh? whut?""I want you to accept...MY LOOOOVVVVEEE!!!"With that the young man thrust flowers, a card, and CHOCOLATE! At work, be ice... At work..be nice...At work...be nice. Smile sweetly...but...BE NICE. "Why thank-you, I'll read the card after work. Thank-you."So sweet, she'd need to see a dentist. The young man smiled and pranced out fo the store, too embarassed to linger any longer. There was something in Addie, a longing to hurt someone. IT WAS A JOKE! RIGHT? No one but Admir would ever give her chocolate... but that was from a friend stand point. Setting the gifts on a stool behind the counter, Addie opened the card. // I choo choo choose you~<3// "...BAH AHAAHAAAHAHAA!!"How silly people were. // Dearest Addie, Ever since you started working at the Fine Grind, I think I've developed a crush on you. You are so sweet, kind, calm, and so very cute. I think...I'm in love with you....
Yours truely, Luke<3// Gift Count: Two.. ... .... "baha ha aha ha ha ha h ha ha!!"There was no way to contain her laughter, it was just too hilarious. Someone had to have been joking. She was none of those things, maybe she was at work. But outside of work, he didn't even know her. The girl rested her head on the counter whilst consumed by a fit of laughter. The patrons looked a little confused, trying their very best to ignore the obscure girl..It was difficult. After some self control and a breather, Addie was once again back in the frame of mind for work. It didn't really last long. A rough looking young man was the next to target Addie the waitress. His face only seemed familiar because of the fact she had kicked it several times. There was no look of malice upon his face, no sense of actions most foul. Perhaps he was like the young man before... Or he was a good actor. "YOU! Ever since that day! The day you kicked my ass, I feel like...I've been in llooovvee!! Never have I had my ass handed to me by such a beautiful young woman."The starry eyed young man motioned for people outside to bring something in. So, a giant teddy bear was carried in by his comrades. Gift Count: Three"Please accept my love!"I must have broke his brain....Smile...smile..what..the...fuck. "Thank...you...so much." There were pauses inbetween her words, trying to stall and think of something nice to say. "I think, if you could defeat me in battle, I'll think about accepting your declaration." Her voice was low and cold, trying to seem like a sweet young girl to the rest of the people. "How does that sound?" She'd straighten up and smile at the strange young man. "Perfect!! My number is in the card attached to the bear! Call me sometime." With that, the young men sat the bear down at a table and left with their leader. Heaving a sigh of relief, Addie slumped over the counter for a moment. The only thing she could think of was: it could be worse. There was one more person while at work. He was some young man, one that seemed to be the type to buy people with gift. Yeah, a rich snob. He walked in, escorted by an assistant..in a black suit and glasses. Rich boys....so annoying. Regardless, the German-Japanese girl smiled away. No point in being cold, right? Those were probably for his girlfriend. He'd order a small german cake and a facy box to go around it. Yes, everything was seemign normal. "Now that that is done. I'd like you to accept that cake and these flowers." He'd snap his fingers and the assistant stepped forward and handed her the flowers forcefully. Gift Count: Four"And...why should I?""Because I said so.""And that automatically means I need to accept it. What makes you so special?""I'm rich, that's reason enough. So, you'll be mine. I need you to come with me after work... We can go out to my families company party..." SNippy and demanding little bitch he was. "I'm so sorry... I've got something planned after work. Good luck finding someone so last minute princess." With that Addie smirked a little and set the flowers down on the counter. Consumed in a bit of victory, it was nice to put people in their places...sometimes. "You!...YOU'RE A WHORE!""And you were obviously far too spoiled as a child.""Ugh...stupid ho.."Job or no job.. "and you are a little whiny bitch... Want a date with my fist?" Addie questioned in a cold voice, smirking at the young man.. Whom seemed to have lost his little bit of courage... Which was good. Watching his cower and run away was probably one of the most enjoyable things. The last visit was followed with as much laughter as the past two. Once the shift was over, Addie hurried home, a bright smile on her face, a bag full of chocolate, cards and gifts. Whilst giving a rather large bear a piggy back ride, even though they were people's feelings. She still held on to them. After all, it was the little things, the words, the colour choices and things gathered through knowing her. Favourite colour and chocolate. Silly things like that. As odd as Valentine's day had been, there was one thing that could be certain. he was always watching her. He had seen all of it, he always saw things that went on. It was like having a watch dog, although.. he was just a little more creepy. No matter where she was, he was oh but ten steps away. He had a gift, but refrained from getting close. Who could blame Admir? He was afraid of rejection and being forced to stay away from her. Restraining orders... were never fun. Greeted in the lobby by a young girl and her grandmother, brought a bright smile ot her face. She remembered the pair from her days helping at the hospital. Bringing smiles to people's faces. Even if it was just community service, she had fun with it. "Adddiiieee!!"The little girl cheered happily as she ran forward and give the tall girla hug. "Why hello there Anne." Speaking in a friendly manner, even to a child. Addie hated children, for the most part. But it was really just the rambunctious ones that annoyed her. Anne and Torrin were good kids, which is why she liked them. "Guess what Granny and I made!""Careful Anne, Addie just got in. Don't knock her over." The old woman laughed as she remained standing where she was. A decorated box with hearts in her hand. It would seem she and Anne were busy. "But Granny! I wanted to give Addie it!""Alright..ha ha ha ha. Pardon Anne, she's just excited."Anne grabbed the hem of Addie's uniform and lead her over to Granny. Where she'd grab the box and open it to addie. Inside there was a heart shapped chocolate cake with white icing and cute wobbly red and pink hearts on top. Gift Count: Five. Smiling brightly at the young girl Addie set the bear down. "Did you make this Anne?""Granny and I made it for you! You'll be our Valentine, right?""Of course." SMile smile. "Give me time, to go drop this stuff off, we can eat some in Granny's living room.""OKAY!!! Sounds like fun!! Come on Granny! Let's go make tea!!" With that the girl raced towards her granmother and they'd walk off, back to their apartment. It was so nice, people were so kind. She'd rush up to her place, leaving the gifts and puttting the flowers in vases and tall glasses... before rushing off to eat cake with Anne and Granny. It was a good day, at least to her. To think...people dread a day that can be so amusing..fun...and..YUMMMMYYY.....CHOCOLATTTTEEEE!![/ul]

Kev woke up to the sound of her alarm clock buzzing off in her ear. Honestly today was not a day that she wished to be crawling out of bed so early. No, she was more intent upon the act of laying in bed and just mope....
Wait a minute.......
She actually had somebody this Valentines Day!
So used to not having anyone to really having anyone to care about her like that, she had almost forgotten that THIS Valentines Day would be different than all the others. A smile spreading across her face at the thought.
Honestly she could not be happier...Sure, she was still hung up on Gabriel, and she knew that she would always love that man, she just could not continue to hang around waiting for him to want her. Or...whatever.....She was so confused at this point with what was passing between them....They loved each other, she knew that and he knew that....Yet they could not be together because he was hung up on this whole, saving the world tihng and all that good stuff....
BAH!
Not today. No! She was going to have a great day with Mischa. She was the one that had never once turned away from Kev. She was the one who loved Kev openly and despite all her faults. It was more than this slightly insane girl could ever ask for.
Pushing herself out of bed, she would stretch lightly before she moved over to the closet and tip toed up to reach the top shelf. Grabbing down two teddy bears...One pink and one blue....Yes, she had something else she had to take care of before she could even think of herself....
Sneaking into the twins rooms she would lift each one up, placing a soft kiss their heads and then giving them the bears...One for Aiden and one for Kazumi.
Just because they were six months old did not mean that they should not have something on this holiday. A smle spreading even more upon her lips as she watched them...of course...begin to chew on the little bears ear....Yes, this was a great gift....Laughing softly she took them into the room that she had turned into their play room and set them down. Time to let them crawl about and have their fun.....Setting up the baby gates and then going to her closet to get dressed.
Always with a clear view of what they were doing.
As she got dressed, she heard the sounds of footsteps coming up the stairs....not just any footsteps, but those of Ivan. She knew them well...Pulling her shirt over her head, she paid no mind...But then, they stopped, a knock sounding on her door....
She rose her brow...Seriously? He could not possibly have something for her to do today.....She was going to be sooo pissed if Gabriel had wanted her to do something.....She had plans and honestly she needed to get going....Hurrying to slip her jeans on, she would button them as she moved across the floor, barefooted, toward the door.
Her small hand reaching out to pull it open as eyes instantly shifted upward, her head tilting back to look at the much larger man. Yet she instantly knew that he was not here to give her some assignment..No, he was nervous.....shy.....worried.....
It was enough to make her raise her brow.....But before she could say anything, his large hand shot out and shoved a heart shaped box of chocolates into her arms and then he was off, down the hall and into his own room.
Okay..........that was wierd......
Shaking her head she stepped back into her room and shut the door...Now taking the chance to look down at the box he had given her.
Upon it, a note.
To Kev.....From Ivan......Happy Valentines Day....
She had to blink a few times and reread the note to make sure she had read right.....Okay seriously this guy was too obsessed with her....But hey! Whatever...Free Candy!!!!!
Just then there was another knock on the door. A soft growl escaping her as she rolled her eyes, tossing the box in her hands onto her bed and moving to once more pull open the door.
This time it was Melody...the nanny....Taking a calming breath Kev looked down to see the woman carrying a load of Valentines gifts...
"Well looks like somebody is popular."
She said laughingly as she shook her head and stepped back to allow Melody into the room.
Yet the woman shook her head and offered out the load of chocolates and cards to Kev.
"No, these were all left for you at the gate...The guards asked me to give them to you."
Kev just took the stack....unsure what to say or think at the moment....So instead of addressing this issue, she would turn and motion toward the play room.
"They are in there playing. If you find some soaking wet teddy bears...That was their Valentines gifts....."
She nodded and then smiled as she watched Melody walk off, moving now to take a seat on her bed she laid out the stack in her arms before her.......
Okay so she had maybe been around this town TOO much in her past...there were at least 10 Valentines Cards and 4 more boxes of chocolates.
She opened them up, reading names from Brent, to Keith, and even one from a guy named George....
Who the hell was George?
She raised her brow and shook her head.....Okay then.....
Larry...
Michael....
Troy.......
She just shook her head once more as she read the cards and the names and tried to place them all.....Finally she gave up and just turned and threw the cards away in the trash beside her bed, the chocolates being left for later.......Yeah she knew she should not have them....given her ADHD...but yeah.....she did not care....It was chocolate.
Pushing herself up to stand, she would turn and make her way to put her shoes on, getting fully dressed now and then brushing out her hair, she would hurry over to the bedside table...Pulling out a small box wrapped with red paper....It was a gift for Mischa....and she was fully intent upon giving it to her....
Smiling at herself, she would peek in on Melody and the twins before turning and heading out the door....She had so much to do and a girlfriend whom she loved and who loved her that she wanted to create a very romantic day for.
Gods help her...she could not help but dote on Mischa like crazy....Anything she wanted, she got......At least that is the way it went in Kev's mind.....Now, it was time to see how things would go......Getting into her car...Kev headed off.....

((OOC: I was nearly done with the post when I realized that I'd made a huge mistake. Distracted as I was, I wrote the post as if it had been a regular week-day, rather than a Sunday. I hope it'll still be considered acceptable.))
Valentine's day, such a waste of time. Yet another holiday set in the sign of capitalism, lusty young people wasting their money to gain the attention of their current mate-to-be whim. At least with Christmas, you got to spend some time with your family and have the day off. This? Just another day, if rather more annoying than the average. Hopefully this year he'd have acting sufficiently shy and nerdy to avoid such attention.
Packing the last few books for the day, and placing his lunch-box in its little compartment, Adrian sighed and stepped outside of his apartment into- "SPLAT!" Adrian took a second to sigh, wondering why he had not thought to look there. Of course, he had done that in the hopes there'd be nothing there. Looking down, he saw that his foot had trod through neat wrapping and squished the filled chocolates below. He sighed again, lamenting the foolishness of young people today. "Stupid morons." He was going to be late today, if he didn't want everyone to think that he had trod in excrement on the way to school. He could do without that disturbance on top of everything else. A few minutes afterwards he was ready to leave again, having cleaned his shoe and tossed out the chocolates. One never knew if they were spiked.
He was just in time for class, luckily, and he spent a good deal of it trying to ignore the subtle and less subtle shows of various desires from his fellow students, containing the rage he felt build within him. It was weak, letting yourself be driven by such petty, animalistic drives. Pathetic, base and short-sighted weaklings, the whole bunch. The future would suffer from being led by such indulgent, devolved animals. The lesson ended, and Adrian was grateful to leave the classroom, to get away from the choking atmosphere. Slipping the Geography book back into his bag, he noticed an object which hadn't been there before. For a split second he wondered what it was, until he felt a pair of eyes trained on him. Sighing inwardly he lifted the carefully wrapped box up and mustered a dutiful, if weary, smile to the eyes. The eyes turned away as the cheeks below them blushed. When they looked back again Adrian was half-way out the door. He couldn't stand much more of this, he'd either get sick or loose his temper. He carelessly deposited the wrapped box into the nearest trash-can when he was certain he was alone, along with the card that had been secured to it with tape. He needed to breathe.
A few minutes later he pushed open one of the doors that accessed the roof, breathing in the cool, fresh air with relish. "Lovely." He muttered, glad to be free of that choking air below, chock full of greed and petty desires. He had a few seconds of calm before he noticed a box on the bench. At first he thought it was for someone else, but the that card read 'Adrian, be my valentine', as well as some of that intelligible deliberately faulty spelling and odd abbreviations for words that didn't belong, was a fairly good indication that was not the case. He wasn't the only Adrian at the school, but the steps he now heard coming from the other sides of the door didn't leave him too much time to worry about that. When the door was pushed open, and a young woman with a tad bit too much make-up on and a slightly revealing dress, she found the roof-top empty. Look as she might, there was no sign of that cute, pale guy, and in the end she left disappointed. A few stories below, back on the ground to be exact, Adrian stood, panting like frightened prey. In many ways, that was exactly what he felt like. Had he not been granted the Gift of the Gecko's touch, he would surely have been cornered up there, and no matter how good an actor he considered himself to be, he loathed being trapped in settings of romance. It was hard enough to pretend affection for someone when you found the very emotion laughable, but when he had to act the emotion, typically pretending to have those feelings for someone else, he got nauseous.
Making his way to his other private place, a little bench on top of the rise by the sports' field, he breathed a sigh of relief when he saw that there was no one there. He took a few minutes to make sure no one was hiding nearby, and that there were no cards or chocolates in the vicinity, but in the end he found that the location was secure, and he enjoyed a break away from all the nauseating nonsense of this accursed day. He didn't have much appetite left, but managed to squeeze down his lunch. He knew he'd need it to make it through the day. When the bell rang, he rose from the bench, more worried than anything, and dragged himself off to class. His fears were confirmed when his seat greeted him with yet another pointless present. Avoiding the eyes of those present he instead seated himself on the back row, by the window. He couldn't stand this much longer, he'd snap soon. It had never been as bad this, never so many valentine gifts at once, he should have followed his hunch and stayed home. More people arrived, and soon the teacher as well. Miss Thornton, the Math teacher, was about to start her lesson when she saw Adrian in the corner. The poor boy looked like something pained him, his stomach to be exact, and he looked even more pale than usual.
"Adrian? Are you allright?" Normally she wouldn't bother, if a student had a half a reason he'd stay home, but Adrian was a diligent student, he had not had a single day of leave yet, except those few days when the school had been closed on account of the flu. She noticed a box of chocolates being handed towards him by a chain of the students. Adrian didn't see, he felt like hell was trying to fight its way of his stomach. When the box landed in front of him, he lost it. Sprinting across the classroom to fell to his knees before the paper-basket, he vomited up his half-digested lunch. Ten minutes later, he stepped through the school gates with his back-pack, taking a deep sigh of relief. Finally, no more of that sickening nonsense. He was sad to miss out on classes, but now at least he could pay extra attention to his Biology report, due on Friday, and then there was that... other project of his. When he got home he found another box of chocolate on his doormat, but this time he brought it in with him. He even read the note, moderately well-written, ending with the words 'Love Tina'. "Love." He mused, opening the box and picking up one of the chocolates, turning it in his fingers to behold it from every angle. "Is just a misnomer for mutual lust." He tossed the card in the bin before pulling out a selection of syringes. He inserted one of them into the bottom of a piece with marzipan inside, and injected the contents into the yellow mes of almonds and sugar. "And still." He mused, smiling as he placed it back in the box and re-wrapped it. "It has a few uses."
That day, local-lowlife Jimmy Holden went to sleep after eating a piece of chocolate from an unknown admirer. He awoke just in time to find himself hitting water, being pulled down by a rock tied to his feet. As he struggled to stay afloat he looked up, and saw a pale young man grin and wave at him. Apart from murky water and crescent moon, that was the last he saw.

Alexis was excited…So damn excited. Like a kid in one of those huge as candy stores that have large, clear pillars that held candy for walls and such.. Why was she so excited? It was her first Valentines day…Well.. Obviously not her first Valentines day… but it was the first one she got to spend it with someone she loved [Req:Love]. Before it was alone in a run-down apartment trying to make ends meet (straight after running away from home before getting super rich of course) and then before that, getting punched in reminder how much her parents didn’t love her. Now here she was getting dressed and dolled up to have dinner with Gabriel. She then heard a knock on the door. She ran as fast as she could to see if it may have been Gabriel “Hey ba-” she stopped mid sentence when she didn’t see her tall dark and handsome… but instead… a man with a guitar and dressed up as a cupid. Wtf?He then started singing a song that sounded oh so familiar. Alexis smiled and asked the boy who sent him… but he had not answered. Alexis got a little annoyed and closed the door. Now she returned to getting ready and heard yet another knock on the door. She opened up to see a delivery man with a huge has pink teddy bear and as she signed the clipboard she tried to see who may have sent it. “Did..Um.. Did you get the name of the person who sent this?”“No ma’am. It was anonymous.” she growled and took the bear in and set it on the table. She glared at it as if it could talk and tell her who had sent him. Just as she was about to turn away from the bear ANOTHER BLOODY KNOCK WAS HEARD. Alexis opened it to see a guy with a dozen roses holding it out to her.. She didn’t even bother asking for the name… They were pretty flowers and she set them on the table looking at the two gifts and remembering the graham. Who the fuck was doing this? Another door sound rang in her head…though it was at least the doorbell this time. Alexis ran to it and answered to see a little boy sucking on a sucker…. No doubt he was bribed to deliver the heart-shaped box to her with said sucker. He smiled that little gap tooth smile and handed her the box and ran off to play with his friends. Now that she had several things of Valentines paraphernalia… she was able to get read in peace. As she was heading out the door she saw Marcus leaning against Gabriel’s Limo holding something in his hands. Alexis walked over with a smile, despite the two always made fun of each other. He handed her the card and wished her a happy valentines day and opened the car door for her. She got in and opened the card to see a heart on the cover. [Req: 5 gifts]Mother fucker….She was now off to dinner and yes…yes she was going to scold Gabriel for all the presents. Why would she do such a thing? Well..she would have rather him deliver all five and not some randoms….. Oooh… and that is why that song was familiar…it was the same one he sang to her at that club thingy! Damn she can’t be mad at him. “Hey Marcus?”“Yes?” “Drive faster old man.” she said with a laugh… he laughed too ‘cause she was obviously kidding…kind of. [Req:601 words]

Early to rise and this day would be bright and full of wonder. Plans already set in motion for what was his actual first Valentine's day with someone. Legitimately and it was with someone he truly cared about which made it like ten times better than anything. A soothing laughter filled him in the morning scrunching his hair at the reflection in the mirror obsessively still unable to wash that curious smile off his face. How was he going to get anything done today with that darned smile on? A quick nudge of his features in attempt to make the frowney face or even some shirk of regret, malice, or plausibly negative extension though always came back to that sparkling grin. Damnit, he was a softy now.... Embarking on the spectacular day he decided it best he walked, both due to plans he'd set up early in the week and the fact that Marcus would be unavailable off consolidating his mischievous schemes. A smooth laugh as he pocketed smooth palms nestling them closely between the bridges of his pants, the steady complacent march across the expansion of his home towards the foray of the School Grounds. Not that it was on his top priority to go to school, he simply needed something to occupy his mind till tonight. Wearing that cleverly arranged smirk his gaze was greeted by a wave of pink, red, and violet. It was generally something he held a distaste for though this year was something different, something special. Even getting mixed greetings this day as he entered it couldn't ruin his bright persona even drawing the dismal eyes of a cleverly placed hidden watch. Nancy Wiggins, She'd been in each one of Gabriel's classes since his Freshman year, he'd never known her nor cared to. Something of a blip on the radar, but this day she had something in mind. Teething with duck tap in her palms she inched through the crowds silently going noticed despite looking the type to be purposefully ignored. Her strawberry blonde hair tightly arranged in pigtails, thick bifocals arranged on her face atop a stout nose and a wide jaw, breathing heavily with anticipation of her night. Gabriel regrettably despite all his advances wouldn't see it coming, his mind fogged over with love blinded to all forces in the way. "Gabriel be my Valentine!" A chorus of voices called out from behind him tossing a bouquet of flowers at him with assorted chocolates. He only gave the crowd a halfhearted grin teasing them on undoubtedly and within the lurking crowd was THE NANCY. Slinking through the bouncing fan girls Nancy approached ever closer as Gabriel took it upon himself to accept their gifts. Roses, Chocolates, those candies and even a sweater vest that a grandmother would have made. He was in something of a good mood to not turn them away and now was rather excitable about the attention at least for a time. "I'm sorry Girls but I must be off, dinner calls." He'd grin excitably. "Who with?!?!""Not that Alexis Green Girl!?""Why not me Gabriel?!""The very same now if you'll excuse me..."An audible awe emitted in disappointment as they filtered away, all but the one. Nancy Wiggins. "I'm sorry for this but it must be done...""Well I'm sure....guh!!"And in the girl's hand was a tazer, she'd got him right in the balls.... **** Waking up from a fanciful dream feeling a wet and sloppy mess in his pants brought on by the rough spark of the tazer luckily avoiding irreparable damage though the throb of pain in his loins still burned deeply and painfully. Trying to breath through the mouth was impossible, obstructed by a thick layer of grey, sticky duck tape. Wonderful abducted by a crazed stalker on one of the best days of the year. FFFFUUUUUUUUU!!! "Shhhhh Don't make any noise Valentine." The light voice came in dressed in a neon pink that burned the eye. Flailing of course ensued as Gabriel tried worming his way free, the small girl encroaching unto his position quickly placing herself over his lap and suppressing his best efforts. This was bad, darting eyes managed not locking with hers that would imply a connection, but where his eyes marched they crossed broken leaflets of roses and the scent that hung in the air was a dull throb of Jasmine. Was she implying that this was to be a passionate night for them? More like Forced Rape. Struggling more under her light body Gabriel would start wallowing from behind the gag. "Hey baby don't worry I'll make all your..." *Thwack!*Gabriel head butted the girl sending her off him and knocked out onto the floor. Thank God for a thick skull. He grinned from beneath the gag feeling the stretch of glue and tape peel away a bit. Lunging in the chair he'd land shattering it and rolling free. "Got a date ta get to...uhhhh, yea stay here." He'd say patting her before bolting. Had to look presentable, urine on your pants was generally a turnoff. Dressing quickly and showering once off to remove the layer of sweat from nerves gone haywire Gabriel needed to get moving he was late. Rather than waiting on Marcus he'd bolted, running to the rooftop dinner he'd prepared, late as it was popping in on Alexis happily. The joyous smile shinning through. "Hey babe, you're the greatest gift I've gotten today." (ooc: 934 Words)
