*Shrugs*
Still inflation when you look at it..
Cause getting EXP from your opponents....
What if the strong fight the strong? Which is common...
There literally is no winning.. so I think there really shouldn't be an argument...

I like to think of it as, the strong fighting the strong is no different then it is now, except with my idea, the weaker characters have a better chance, so it'll be like it is now, except easier on the weaker characters, and the stronger would get more RP. I just think it's worth looking into D= I REALLY would like to see more RP being encouraged between the strong and weak, and I think this would help... I really do ><

But if Strong fight the strong... then its not doing anything because they will get super pumped and the weak is still playing catch up..if its not going to change how things work...Then why change the structure to what you think is a good idea?
Your way is exactly like the 1+ per fight only with bigger numbers being involved...
Like that time in Germany where the government gave everyone a million dollars so they could by more.. sooner or later you needed a wheel barrow of money just to buy a loaf of bread...
So what I'm saying is stats are useless so there is no changing it...
Now here is this...
a character maxed out at 10 would have 200 Int vs a newbie with 20 at the most which would receive +1 +1 for each fight so after 5 fights the 200 Int character has received +50 Exp to a newbies +10 thats 5x by the time they post whore their way to get 200 Int and "catch up" the stronger member idf still their has by chance collected up to 5 times the newbies if the rate is unchanged
I see no chances of catching up...

Im gonna make this short-
I like all ideas mentioned here. Jess' is a good idea, as is the reversion back to a +1 base exp per fight. Now, while both are possible, i would rather say a blend of the two should be discussed- The intelligence rule as well as a few other things are being talked about in the staff area and have been since a couple days ago. I think taking it back to the +1exp would be better then the confusion that would come from jess' idea (which is a good one), but it doesnt help the older people catch up as you stated. This will be and is CURRENTLY being talked about and probably will be changed soon, but for now-
This thread is dedicated to Qi reform, which IS needed regardless of the current exp gain. I meant by my previous statement that the super powerful use boosters against any possible threat and its different then the world of Xin, so regardless of an INT rule change, I'd still go through the reforms.
Just know that a lot of the problems, like the arena, lack of activity in the jobs section, and items are all being talked about, and we're trying our best to see to everything.
In the future, if someone has a good idea, it would be preferably PMed to a Mod so it could be brought before staff, and then publicly announced, since again this just floods this thread with responses and questions and suggestions that may already be in the process of being talked about- changing a bunch of rules at the same time is hard on people, so we need to talk things gradually.
So much for this being short...
